I have been a Farison customer every year since 1981. My husband was friends with Dan Farison one of the original owners I always elect to receive all of the services offered. For nearly forty four years I have been happy with the services; however, two years ago I started noticing this weird grass in the apron of my lawn. I was on the list last year to receive a lawn renovation but after speaking with Perry, the man that actually treats my lawn, he convinced me that my lawn was in better condition than most lawns so I canceled the renovation. This unusual grass has now spread to the center of my lawn in many places. I contacted them last week asking for the owner to come look at the situation. He did not come but again sent Perry. Perry assured me yesterday that he would speak with the company and see if they could renovate my lawn since this situation has escalated and they are today renovating my next door neighbors lawn. Perry knows that the advice he gave me last year wasnt accurate. My neighbor used them briefly in the past but quit because he was unhappy with their services and said they were too expensive. Since then he asked this spring for them to renovate his lawn due to the Bermuda grass in his yard. They put him on their list. I have asked for the same service after being a customer for 44 years and because I did not ask in the spring they will not come. Scott ,the person that does the renovation, called me this morning and was quite angry and yelled at me and told me the were FULL!!!!! He could not believe I thought I should be put in front of two hundred other people. I am a widow and 78 years old and I can honestly say that I have never been talked to in the way that I was addressed by him this morning. He said all the GOOD companies would not take me on at this point for renovation and any company I found would not be worth a damn. Needless to say I am canceling all services with them and I have asked for a refund as I always pay in full in January. I am really appalled at the treatment I have received after all these years but I believe that the new generation of Farisons is truly a different breed of folks. In the meantime, I have found a new company and I have used this company in the past for landscape. They are great to work with and appreciate your business. If you want full service and a caring company that values your loyalty I would NEVER recommend Farisons. I will be spreading the word. I have at least five to ten people that drive by my house every week here in Plainview Florian Road and tell me that they so admire my home. This is really unfortunate.

Perry did the treatment and took the time to explain the application and the impact on the lawn. I couldnt do it myself for what they are charging. Highly recommend

Blake is an exceptional tech with a great attitude and wealth of knowledge! I switched from their competitor and so far it s been a positive choice!

My yard was riddled with mosquitos and my toddler was miserable in the summers. We discovered Farison last year and they saved our summer. We were so relieved to pick right back up with Farison for this summer. Weve been mosquito free and love being able to enjoy our backyard!

I just got my first treatment today, but have to say that so far my experience with this company has been wonderful from my first phone conversation forward. Due to other construction going on at my property I had to reschedule my first service twice and each time they were so pleasant and accommodating with the changes. Perry did the actual application. He was wonderful to work with, answered all my questions, did a thorough application, and took great care to avoid areas where I ask him not to spray. They just showed up without notification, so no chance to clear grandkids toys off lawn. Also, sprayed 900 sq. ft. of freshly laid sod, which isn t supposed to have any chemicals for at least 4 weeks. They told me it was my fault I didn t tell them I had fresh sod, even though they don t tell you when they re going to spray! Very argumentative and not reasonable at all. Last time these jokers touch my lawn.

Farison has an exemplary reputation. I am particularly interested in their services to remove violets in my yard. Their commitment to excellence is beyond reproach. The website says it all. Farrison Lawn Care has been great. We moved to the area knowing NO one and our lawn was a mess. I was walking our dog past a neighbor one day whe Farrison was treating their lawn. What I didnt know was that the lawn was about to be completely restored. 2 days later, the lawn was a brown and dead mess. I thought Well, they arent the company for me. Soon Farrison was back and the lawn was replanted. Today its the showpiece of the neighborhood....and Farrison IS the company for me. Thanks, Farrison!

At the beginning of the season 2024 I fired my old lawn care service and was antsy about hiring someone else, my lawn looked worse in the beginning of the the 2024 season. Solid product and prompt service. I was able to get them out to treat my yard faster than anyone else. They take care of our lawn without disruption and revitalized my home s curb appeal to be better than ever.

They have killed most of my weeds and my lawn looks much better. Waiting for late summer or early fall so they can advise to plant fresh grass seed to replace the dead weed patches!

Wow! My lawn looked horrible last spring. Id lost 2 40 year-old oak trees which completely blocked the sun and I had more weeds than grass. Farison started a complete program targeting fertilization, weed control, pre-emergents, insect control, winterization including deep fertilizer injection to trees/shrubs. Wow again! This spring I have a lush lawn and my landscaping is gorgeous! What a difference. Ive noticed 6 neighbors are now using Farison, too! The prices are quite competitive and a good value for the services. Staff is great. too!

Farisons have done a great job helping us get our yard in shape. The first summer after we built, in 2022, it was already hot but they helped us get our lawn started fast so my dogs wouldn t track in. I recently canceled. I have the weed treatment for flower beds. I still have the weeds and they have killed my plants twice. First time they pulled up the new plants. Second time they sprayed directly on plants thinking they were weeds. I do not think that they train people to know the difference between plants and weeds.

I ve used Farison Lawn Care off and on over the years and they ve always done well. My lawn was looking pretty terrible after the strange winter season we had and I called last week to secure Farison once again. The service center called me right away after requesting a quote online (which was incredibly easy) and the woman I spoke with was very kind and professional. In less than a week the service tech came out to spray the first treatment. His name is Perry and he kindly wrapped around his route to give me time to finish mowing. He was very pleasant and told me when he would be back. So far I m more impressed than ever with the professionalism and courtesy they have shown. I will try to update with pictures a few weeks or months from now.

We had used several other companies prior to starting with Farison Lawn Care. I have noticed a difference since joining them. The spray tech s , office staff all very friendly and always helpful. No song and dance if you notice something that needs extra attention they usually will return and repeat the service if needed. Also no hitting you up once a week with the latest special. Give this company a try you won t be disappointed!

Farison came out to spray in February, which was great, however I noticed dandelions started popping up in March. I called Farison and the representative told me it would be about 1 to 2 weeks before a technician could come out to spray. I am pleased to say Perry called and came out the very next day. He was so patient and kind, answering all my questions and sharing a wealth of knowledge and experience. Perry went above and beyond and for that I say thank you.

Switched from Limbwalker to Farison and could not be more pleased! Farison offers the same services for lawn care but with a few distinct differences. Instead of using the riding machine, which tends to miss the edges and between plants, Farison hand fertilizes! After only one treatment I could see the vast improvement over their competitor! The company is family run and customer service is paramount from the moment they answer the phone! (Their competitor never even asked why I was cancelling.) They offer a great treatment plan with the option to add or delete services. Blake, the technician is amazing!! He is knowledgeable, kind, very thorough and overall just a wonderful asset. It s like seeing a friend. Last but not least, their pricing is much less for a better quality!

We switched to Farison for our lawn service last fall after having less than satisfying experiences and results from several other lawn care companies over the years. What a breath of fresh air! They stay in touch; they do what they say they will do; they explain what they ve done; and the results are clear - the lawn has never looked this good. Well lets just start this review by stating I had Farison lawn care take care of my front lawn in 2022. I didnt call to complain in 2022 but went around and spot treated any problems I had. In early 2023 I have weeds and its only the second week of March. They said they appreciated my call today (March 2023) and would send a technician back out at no charge. Great....problem resolved? No.....I then called back to request that they not to spray the weed control on my six ferns in the front yard BUT THE CALL DIDNT EVEN GET THAT FAR. Scott took my call and said maybe we werent the lawn service for me? He was rude, interrupted me even before I could request that they not spray the ferns because last year when they treated my yard, my ferns turned black on the leaves and never recovered. So much for them being customer oriented or even patient to listen to my concerns. Ill be sure to try Lawnco, TruGreen, or any of the many others that visit my street. Wow, they were really rude over my call. Im sure theyll vilify the review and blame the customer, but really the fault and terrible phone customer service lies with Farison and Scott. Goodbye and good riddance.

Used this company for the 1st time today. Perry did an excellent job of explaining everything that he was doing and what to expect. 1st class job!

Its all a scam. They show up on the wrong days, at the wrong time (if they show up at all) and the weeds get worse. No matter how many applications they use, they have explain you need to keep being patient for it to work or they explain, Oh! Those types of weeds dont get addressed in this treatment, you need another treatment for that. After getting roped into nearly $1000 with them, were done. And, no doubt, they will have some dishonest explanation or deflection for this review, but I have the emails (and photos) proving all of my claims above. Feel free to contact me directly if you doubt it. Ill find someone different for this year.

I had several weed types in my lawn including poa annum. After first application, I noticed most visible weeds disappeared. Im hoping future applications will keep my lawn weed free and healthy. Satisfied customer.

I love working with these folks because everything is done with the customer in mind and to a standard above anyone else Ive used for my lawn care services. Perry came out today to apply my summer application and was extremely professional and personable. He answered questions I had about the application and what I can do between applications to help my lawn look its best. He even picked up some of my kids toys in the yard before applying, which youre not going to find anyone else doing. Others will spray and run, while Farison ensures youre getting the best possible care for your lawn, no matter what it takes. I really appreciate the work they do and will never use anyone else! Have been a current customer for over 10 years. When Blake was delivering my invoice, he shared with me some positive comments about my yard and what he was applying for the day. I have been following instructions from the leave behind brochures, and it is paying off. Blake was filling in for someone else, but he was engaged and shared information as if he was my current person. Blake, Ryan and Tim are professional and very pleasant. One day I was grilling out and they came to apply an application. Ryan saw that and said he would come back in the week when serving the area. That is going above and beyond! Thank you!

They did excellent job in solving the problem I had with my grass turning brown. It was a fungus causing the problem and they treated with fungicide and now the grass is back to normal.

They started out good. Start slacking after few treatments, he did not go in the back yard and sprayed and that s the second time I catch him on my camera. I called the office and I was told my cameras not working properly even though I just installed 4k ultra hd lol . This is not the way customer service.I will inform everyone from my family that uses them and present my videos to see how slacking and how he did not go in the backyard and spray. Cancel my service. I m good . Customer service should do a better job and not be telling customers their cameras not working and they are.if you READ OTHER REVIEWS there is truth that the camera with motions does not pick up the person based on how range the cameras, my cameras are not motions cameras fyi. Replying back to the email you sent me: You worried about your 55.00. It s no problem I will send you your 55.00 and yes my cameras are working it s funny how you can see and hear the wind outside on the cameras while it s recording,I m not talking about ring camera, I m talking about Lorex 4k ultra HD and you can see your first guy going to the side and didn t even go behind the house, he just turn back and went right back to the front. My cameras are working fine.

I m a new customer that just had my yard treated today. Obviously, I can t comment on the product yet due to it being my first treatment. However, this has been some of the best customer service I have witnessed so far. Scott was very quick to respond and get me set up for treatment. I had tried 2 previous companies, one after another, for my lawn care and I was totally dissatisfied with their customer service. They never responded or attended to my specific concerns, not responding to voice messages emails and even letters. They were both bigger and well known companies. Farison Lawn Care has been fully attentive to every concern i had, promptly responding to my needs. I greatly appreciate their efficient and timely applications and compliance to my needs.

Ive been using Farison for over a decade, at two separate houses. My yard always looks great and they give me great feedback when I have questions around improving my yard. Anytime Ive encountered an issue or had a concern, Farison has always been prompt; and often times drive out to look at the issue, make suggestions, or retreat if needed.

They were friendly on the phone and left a note each time they came but after the last tx my yard received the yard turned completely brown. The back yard and side yard which arent treated are still green. We have been fighting this lawn for about 4 years now and I brought in lawn care to help. When I called to ask if they had different programs I was told no. So I ended up leaving them to go with another company that provides different levels of lawn care and a guarantee that if the work they did didnt provide the expected results they would come back out for free. Unfortunately Farison did not meet the needs for my lawn.

Ive always worked on my yard but the last two years where weve paid Farison made me realize I was wasting my time. Their service and ability to make my lawn look awesome year-round for a reasonable price cant be matched. When Perry pulls up out front in the Farison truck, I get excited because they know exactly when to take care of things. I no longer have to plan to treat at certain times of year or spend hours trying to kill weeds. Perry is a great guy who will help explain how to water and take care of it in between their treatments. Check them out and have them send Perry out to make your lawn look awesome!

Poor service and too busy to focus on smaller customers. I originally reached out to Farison, based on reviews, in mid-July of 18. My reasoning as I explained to their group was to jump start the overhaul of my thin sad weed infested lawn. I asked about fall seeding, etc. and was told it wouldnt be a problem. I was also told someone would talk with me about my lawn specifically and what it needed, so I signed up for the program. I received one treatment, paid promptly, and they disappeared. After waiting for 11 weeks for a second treatment and hearing nothing I reached out via email. Just so coincidentally they were on there way to do there treatment any time now. Today or the next couple of days. I was also told it was too late to receive the more intensive fall services this year but theyd be glad to put me on the list for all 2019. Yeah no thanks. Invest in a scheduling program and communicate with your customers.

Really disappointed as I like to support small businesses in these times but this cannot go without being addressed. I expressed concern about how my yard was looking and the sent out the owner who agreed with me.... he said they would have someone out ASAP.... And as of three weeks ago no one has been here and o have seen the trucks and yard marking in my neighborhood. After I just called now the manager basically was yelling at me and said all I can say is I m sorry and hung up on me.

The workers are super attractive and all professional. They do a great job at their fertilizing and weed control as well. Im very pleased with my yard from this past season. They are much better than true green and much less expensive.

Weve ben customers with Farison for 16 years. Their work is amazing! The only down side is that your lawn will look so fantastic, you will have to do extra gardening so your flowers look as nice as your grass. To those who are curious about Is lawn care service worth it? I have only received service from Farison for about 6 months, but I am thoroughly impressed with their service, knowledge and pricing! Having new sod put down (in the summer time) was brutal for my yard. I did the best I could maintaining but wasnt making a dent. Once my yard was treated by Farison, I noticed a turn around. Compared to my neighbors, my grass is a lush green whereas theirs is light green and yellow. Today during quarantine I was able to speak with yard technician Matt while he treated my yard. He answered several of my questions about other yard issues Id like to address in the future and gave me great pointers. Overall, compared to what I could be paying with other companies, Im upset I never knew about Farison before. I would HIGHLY recommend their services for those who do the work to maintain their yards but could use a boost from time to time.

I contracted with Farispn in 2019 and told them I had weeds that would overtake .y used in the summer. I said it was crabgrass. They treated my yard all of the fall of 2019 and the winter. They ca.amback in 2020 and again started treating Yard on theater weeks of June I contacted Farispn and expressed concern that the same weedswere again invading my yard. I requested a total kill and reseed, they said they would send someone to look ot iover to see if this would help. Three weeks later on technician to see if total moll will help contacted them early July, yard is now totally pverrunwotbvono g weeds I ask for an assessment of yard told heat causes the weeds nothong they can do cancel service, get letter 9n mail stating i asked for crabgrass control and i have Bermuda grass

They don t care wether or not their service actually treats your yard. So many weeds still and their customer service was beyond rude. Subscription is automatically renewed and I did not see. However that s fine, but the biggest thing is not one person apologized to me for the service that I received that didn t work. They were just ill-mannered and inconsiderate.

We live on five acres of woods and the ticks are terrible. We were constantly picking them off our pets despite having tick collars. Because of all the woods, we were warned that the tick treatment may be of limited value. But we have noticed a huge decrease in the amount of ticks since we started using Farison. Also less expensive than other services. Perry is our tech and he does a great job. Always calls when he is on the way and watches out for our pets and wildlife.

Farison completed a fall renewal of our yard two years ago, and it has been well cared for by Perry (and Tosha today) ever since. We are extremely happy with the look and health of our yard. I used to dread mowing because it only made the yard look worse, but now its great to get compliments from the neighbors about how good it looks. Found a sign for Farison on my lawn and the grass smelled heavily of chemicals. I had not requested lawn care, nor was I ever contacted by Farison about lawn care. I called the office and was told the previous owner of the house had used their service. We have owned the house for 3 months, the house had been on the market since April. Farison denied responsibility for not having contacted us before spraying, even though they told me the previous owner had informed them that they were moving. I was not happy to have an unknown chemical sprayed on my yard. I do my own lawn care and chose which products I know are safe for my child and pets. I was told they used a herbicide and it is safe for children and pets to play on. I looked up the product label and first thing under precautionary measures is Causes irreversible eye damage. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Harmful if absorbed through skin or if swallowed. Great, the front lawn is off limits for 48 hours now. I think its pretty reckless of a company that deals with pesticides and other potentially dangerous products to not inform people of when theyll be spraying; even more reckless to do so without permission.

I have used Farison for several years and my yard looks great. I just got a grub infestation that was just chewing up my yard. Within a day the owner was out to inspect and we had service scheduled. Matt Eggleston is one of the best lawn care technicians Ive seen. He really cares about his customers satisfaction. Farison Lawn Care was recommended to me by my Dad, and is the best lawn care company I have used.

Talking to Perry was the most fun Ive ever had talking to a lawn-care pro. He walked and talked me through our entire yard, identifying every type of grass and weed as we went. So many weird names... I thought surely he had to be making some stuff up to see if I would catch on. Clearly, though, he had a passion for the work and hes got a good strategy for getting our lawn looking top-notch. Still laughing. Worth it.

Farison does what you hope most service businesses will do. They are responsive to customers questions and needs, they do what they say they are going to do and their products work. I can say that I am not the easiest customer, I also know i can probably get a lower introductory price, but I also know that I would not get all three points i made above together on a consistant basis elsewhere, and having confidence in who you hire is worth something.

She was efficient and very pleasant. In a matter of minutes it was done. I had another question which I submitted by email on a weekend, not expecting an answer before Monday. She replied anyway. Communications with this company have always been positive and the services we asked for have been provided without issues. But most importantly the applications they use work very well!

Called them over a week ago to let them know Id over seeded the whole yard and not to use pre-emergent/weed killer when they sprayed the yard. I was assured by the lady who answered the phone theyd only use fertilizer for the first treatment and my account was notated. A week later they came out and did their first spring treatment including pre-emergent/weed killer. 4/2 Updated review after talking with the owner and being reassured the large areas were avoided and that they would zero out our bill for that treatment.

We had used Farison for years until today, when I happened to be home and actually watched their work spraying (fogging) our yard for mosquitoes. They skipped an entire area of our yard and the technician stood on my patio and blasted my potted plants with spray, though I had asked them not to spray anything in pots on the patio. Now I am wondering how many years they were cutting corners and not following my requests. When I called the office today to let them know what had happened, the owner and manager were difficult to deal with when I shared my concerns about their service. Cancelled my contract about a month ago with Farison Lawn Care. Last night went I got home I noticed my yard had been treated. I called Farison and spoke to Jessica. She looked my address up and said that it had not been cancelled and wanted to know who I spoke with. Slept since then!! I am very good at following through with all items. I am very orgainized and my wife is my witness of the first call. Farison should have enough customer service to apologize for the mistake but instead wanted a manager to speak with me and stated that it will be sent to collections. Poor customer service!

This is the first year I used their service, after going with a large company for nearly 10 years with constant problems. There were only three treatments, but my lawn never looked better. I never had to call them back for an application and I am sure they will continue to do a good job of taking care of my lawn and have no hesitation in recommending their services to others.

Farison has serviced my home for about 10 years and my rentals for about 5 years. Folks driving by stop and ask us what we did to get such a lush green lawn. Walkers inquire about our secret to the lovely lawn. They want the same result for their home. We did a fall kill off of the grass and re-seeded. Would never use a service with drivers as terrible as this. Riding peoples tails all throughout traffic. Causing people to slam on their brakes. Close to causing an accident, and I mean VERY close. Absolutely doesnt care what the speed limit is. Irresponsible driving in a company truck is not a way to make a good impression on potential customers. I will make sure I let anyone who asks know that this is not the way to go on account of their careless road behavior. In case anyone is wondering, this employee was driving a chevy silverado, not one of the box trucks. Be careful and watch out for this while driving around Louisville!

Had trouble with my old vendor. Called Farison on Monday and the put down an application on Tuesday. Cant wait for my lawn to show improvement.

Matt is awesome for weed control for the flowers beds. He knows his stuff. I think the application was little too late but this is at no fault of Matt s. He did his job.

My lawn has been ruined, they burned the grass and now its totally brown in my back yard. When the guy came to spray, he would write down the time, however my security cameras showed a very later time. The price was jacked up every 2-3 months. Would not recommend at all!!!

We only had Farison for a couple of months because we ended up selling our house. However, the time spent with them has been fantastic. After two treatments our grass came completely back to life. Thick, green, and little to no weeds. I can with confidence say if we wouldve been with them for a full year our grass would be flawless.

Disappointing after witnessing poor performance at spraying the yard (cameras) the company refused to do the areas not done, so I told them that their services are no longer needed.

Perry came to my house and he did excellent service. He took out weed from grass and checked all around house to make sure there are no weed that needs our attention. Also guide us what we need to do to make sure this weed do not come back again and again. He did excellent job.
