We hired Flores Artscape for a large, complex hillside project. They executed it flawlessly, and were excellent about communication throughout the project. Any issues (and they were rare and minor) they handled immediately. Would absolutely use them again!

It pains me to write this, but unfortunately, we did not have the best experience with Flores Artscape. To summarize, they are very friendly people, and for that, we are thankful because the experience would have been a lot worse if they hadnt been as friendly as they are. Friendliness aside, generally, their workmanship is pretty bad. They paid zero attention to detail, made so many mistakes it was hard to keep track of, and ultimately, there was zero oversight over the project. The workers were often lost and unsure of what to do, and management was clearly clueless about what had to be done for the project or what mistakes had to be fixed. The lack of attention to details I mention arent small things either. I mean details like taking the right measurements for a wall, using the same colored wood for a deck, etc. I can go on about each mistake, but the picture shared perfectly summarizes our experience working with them. Ultimately, this is low-quality work for what I consider a pretty costly price tag (43k).

We hired this company to install some french drains, channel drains and a sump pump in our backyard. From start to finish, we had an incredible experience with this company. From my initial phone call with them all the way through the completion of the work, they were always on top of every detail and communication. They were the ones to reach out to schedule (and the person who was scheduling already knew all of the details I had explained in my initial call - wow), confirm the appointment, arrive on time, check in with us, monitor the project, etc etc - never once did I have to do more work in order to have them do the work, unlike every other contractor Ive ever worked with. The project manager even CAME OUT to our house to ensure all was running smoothly and our expectations were met. Most importantly, they take pride in their work and the finished product was absolutely amazing (there is literally not a single drop of water in our backyard during this storm). They also finished a day earlier than they originally quoted us, and they will work with you until you are entirely satisfied with absolutely no push back. This company cares about their customers and offers competitive pricing. Thank you Flores Artscape! Hire them, you wont regret it!

I had a great time working with the team at Flores Artscape on a project to put hedges at my house. From start to finish, the customer service and quality of work was top notch. Carlos and his crew did an excellent job installing the trees and they look amazing. Then, when I decided after the fact that I also wanted to put in an irrigation system, everyone was super accommodating, even moving up the installation date at my request so it could be completed before I had to leave for vacation. And in the time since the project was finished more than a month ago, I sometimes text Nancy with questions about the trees and she is always quick to get back to me with very helpful answers. I would absolutely recommend Flores to anyone in LA with landscaping needs.

One of the most professional businesses I have ever dealt with. They made the whole process so easy, showed up on time (in the pouring rain) and managed to do the entire project in half a day. Couldn t recommend this business more for all of your landscaping and gardening needs!

We bought a home with a huge backyard. The backyard was out of control with overgrown plants - all tropical plants that had not been tended to in years and required a lot of care. We hired Flores to do a complete demo of the yard, and replace the plants with astroturf for our 2 year old son to play in, and drought-resistant plants to save water and maintenance time. They completed all of the work in 3 days - the gentlemen working on the project were all very kind and were lovely with our son. They were very organized on the project management side so everything could happen in perfect order. The paid great attention to all details and went above and beyond to make the yard look perfect. This investment was very much worth it - we are so thrilled to be able to utilize our yard and spend our days outside with our son. We have plans to do the side of our house as well and when we do, we will most certainly be using Flores again! Highly recommend.

Got the job done super quick, clean, and well done. They removed all the weeds, leveled the ground nicely (within reason, as my house is on a slight incline) and installed weed barrier for me. The price was affordable and way better value when compares to other services in my area who quoted almost the same amount for removing the weeds alone and didnt offer the full range of services needed. Would absolutely entrust my landscape needs to them again in the future.

I highly recommend Flores Artscape. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and wonderful people to work with. They answered all my questions which were many, and they were very responsive and easy to work with. We had a new fence and automatic gate installed, some tree demolition and hedging along the front, side and back of our house. We are very happy with how the final product looks and we look forward to working with Flores Artscape again when we install artificial grass.

Flores worked on our backyard. We had an independent designer create renderings, which we used to communicate our vision. Eric, the sales consultant, was very helpful from the get-go. We did not feel any pressure from him; we reached out to solve a drainage problem and with needing to demo a lot of the hardscape, we also opted to redesign the backyard into a desertscape. He worked with us to meet our budget. Rumaldo, the owner, came to kick off our project, which spoke volumes to us. We were assigned Angel and his crew. They are AMAZING! Angel has a great design eye and under his leadership, the team delivered more than what we imagined. They are punctual, good-natured, have very good working dynamic/energy; they did excellent work and went above and beyond. Additionally, the rest of the team (Nancy and Valerie) who we communicated our additional needs to were communicative, always available, and flexible. We highly recommend them and would hire them again in a heartbeat!

My husband and I researched landscaping services for about a year before deciding to move forward with Flores Artscape. From day 1, it was clear that Eric is extremely knowledgeable about all things landscaping. He has a practical approach on the best way to design and maintain your outdoor space which was refreshing compared to some of the other companies we met with. Eric was also extremely communicative and answered ALL of our many questions before and during the process - he would even give me his opinion on parts of the design process I was less confident about. Once we officially decided to go with Flores everything ran like a finely tuned machine. The team showed up on day 1 exactly when they said they would and got right to work. Nancy was our onsite contact and she was super on it and helpful, and Arturo was really helpful with explaining some of the alternative ideas we could do with the space. Everyone from Valeria in finance to Angel who was onsite doing the work with his team, were kind, respectful, tidy and pleasant. This project only took 2.5 weeks and it looks incredible. I love going outside to see it every day and am so thrilled with the way it turned out. I would highly recommend Flores Artscape to anyone who is interested in doing a landscaping project, but especially if youve never done one before because they really help you think through all angles and possibilities. Flores Artscape provided our family with a beautiful backyard and useable space where before there was just weeds. Me and my wife provided Eric with a rudimentary drawing of what we thought would be a cool backyard, but Eric really captured and augmented. He truly maaged to exceed our expectations in everyway. The team was professional, ontime and the gentlemen that actually performed the work were truly artists. From laying pavers and DG to hanging trellis and framing and pouring a large BBQ and bar, they could do it all. The finished product was worth every dime. Additionally, they started the project quickly and through two weeks of efficient work - completed ontime, at budget without any issues. 10/10 would recommend them. I interviewed three different landscape companies before deciding upon Flores Landscaping. They are artists and, more, they work hard, are kind and responsive, and stand by their work. I needed only some decomposed granite redone but they ended up doing some concrete work and related landscaping activities. Their estimator, Jason, is a super nice guy. Rumaldo, one of their foremen, oversaw the actual job. Again, what a kind and responsive professional. The work is now done and Im 100 percent pleased. I would hire them again in a hot second, and plan on recommending them to all of my friends, family, and pets. Even their billing lady, Valeria, was excellent. Where do I start! I am so grateful to have found Flores Artscape and could not be happier with the results. I live in a house where my front yard is my only yard (there is no backyard) and I wanted to start making use of this outside space. With a 2-year-old toddler and 2 fur babies needing an outdoor environment, I needed it to be safe and practical for all. I had my own set of design ideas but knew that I needed guidance and an expert eye to make my ideas a reality. What I knew I wanted: artificial (pet friendly) turf on one side and a deck on the other side. This is where Eric comes in. Eric was the salesperson/designer that came out to provide a consultation and quote. Eric is awesome! He is this really cool, super knowledgeable, honest, personable guy and he totally sold it for me. He is a great representation of this company and after meeting him, I knew that I wanted to do business with this company. What I appreciated the most was that Eric was honest with me. I shared some of my ideas and although he never said it could not be done, he gave me great feedback including why he would or would not do this/that for me to think about. In turn, he provided me with other design ideas that I had not considered, which I ended up following through with and getting done. The only bummer was that after that initial contact, I was only able to thank Eric via email. Thanks again Eric! Next was Arturo, the amazing project manager. I cannot say enough about the level of professionalism and customer care Arturo demonstrated. There were multiple daily check-ins with me throughout the process to see if I had any questions or concerns. Be prepared, this company sends an army of workers to get your project done! Arturo was skilled at coordinating all the work and getting his crew to get the project done in a timely manner. Daily, each group of workers knew their task and got it done. It took these guys less than 2 weeks (about 9-10 days) to finish the project. They work fast (excellent work ethic!!), they are detailed oriented (the nails on my deck could not be any straighter), they clean-up at the end of each workday and they are all just a great group of workers. Financially, this was certainly an investment. I believe that they are pretty comparable with other companies, maybe a little bit more expensive, but it has truly been worth every penny. Their work is impeccable, and it has been one of the most stress-free house renovations that Ive had done. More importantly, the best part of it all, has been seeing my little girl enjoy the new grassy area and beautifully constructed deck. I am so incredibly grateful! :)

We had a wonderful experience working with Flores. We hired them to do a fairly substantial hardscaping project which included two timber staircases, two timber retaining walls, an elevated pad for seating and a hillside walking path. Their design team was extremely knowledgeable and understood our vision and together we came up with a great plan that stayed within our budget. Their crews were extremely efficient, very respectful of our property as well as our neighbors and their cleanup at the end of the project was immaculate. They stayed on budget and on schedule and were very communicative throughout. We will use them for all of our landscaping projects from here on out!

After meeting 9 other landscape companies we decided to start our project with Flores Artscape. My experience with the other parties were to say the least, awkward. Quotes from the top of their head (instant 5 min quote), hourly without knowing the amount of work.....etc. I then had Flores Artscape come by and from the first moment they were already very professional and committed. Long story short, I had a great experience from day one until project was accomplished and the entire staff is very kind of do pay a lot of attention do details. It was definitely the most rewarding project during our home remodeling. Rumaldo, Jason, Valeria and the production team are amazing.

Flores Artscape is currently assisting slumlord Tom Botz with destroying a decades-long community garden of shared fruits, medicinal herbs, and more, in a clear act of retaliation against the Hillside Villa tenants for successfully demanding that the City remove the building from Botz. Flores Artscape has the power to reject this act of oppression but are showing a lack of principles when it comes to genuinely supporting the community. Nobody should use Flores Artscape as long as they act on the wills of gentrifiers and openly harass poor/working class people.

10 out of 10! I would highly recommend Flores Artscape for any of your landscaping needs. True professionals who know their way around just about any landscaping task. We had a fairly complex project that included: New decomposed granite installation, removal of old DG, new irrigation systems along our fence line and front yard area, removing and re-potting plants that were previously in areas where the new DG went down. Their communication was always prompt and informative. They did a great job assessing the project and providing a complete project plan that they stuck to - and provided an estimate that was right on budget and plan. The work crew was focused, and got the job done quickly. There were no stop/start/stop again delays - just dedicated time, and a commitment to getting the job done right. Flores provided a few really good suggestions about how we could optimize for low-water use landscaping. The best part however - was the team. They were always friendly, accommodating, and professional. We knew we were in good hands the whole time, and we love the result. Our dog Milo loves it too! Thanks Flores!!!

Flores did an excellent job converting our patio into a turf yard. They were so professional, the guys were incredibly nice, and their work is always high quality. We have some friends who have used them, as well, and I m so glad they referred Flores to us. Flores Artscape, Inc. is an amazing company who completed a beautiful renovation to our house s façade and front yard. From the initial estimate through project planning, execution, and completion, every member of the Flores Artscape team accomplished their role with professionalism and integrity. The quality of the work was top-notch, and each step of the project was clearly explained to us. We felt taken care of, and our house has never looked better all completed on time and on budget! We also loved supporting a family-owned, local business whose work is something the whole neighborhood can be proud of.

Attempted to hire this company for landscaping and hardscaping work based on good reviews and recommendations from neighbors. Called company to set up an appointment for a quote, and they never called back. After finally getting a hold of them we got an appointment for 6 weeks later. They were punctual and seemed professional during the appointment. Was told a quote would be ready by the end of the week, but never received it. Called the company twice and two weeks apart to get the quote. Was told they had contacted the staff, and that he was doing the quote and confirmed my email, but never heard from them two months after our initial appointment. Update: I was contacted by a customer service representative who explained how my situation was specific to a staff and they had rectified that situation. They accommodated me on the schedule to have another evaluation of the work needed at the property. Staff came on time and was very knowledgeable and helpful with good ideas. They provided a quote for the work that same evening. Based on this interaction i will be changing my review from 1 to 4 stars. We are still deciding on whether we will hire the company for the job, and will provide another review based on the work if we move forward. In the meantime i would like to update my review given my recent interactions with the company.

Flores helped us design our amazing new backyard. The designing process with Jason was really great and he was very accommodating. Rumuldo oversaw the project and was very communicative and helpful. The pictures show the empty blank slate and how they helped us make it in to desert oasis with a concrete slab for a hot tub in the middle. Definitely recommend working with Flores!

Our newly purchased home was completely renovated by the seller, and looked fantastic...with the exception of the backyard (I guess they ran out of money). So after moving in, we hired Flores Artscape to bring the backyard up to par with the rest of our new home. Flores Artscape did an amazing job, were a pleasure to work with, and I plan to re-hire them for a new project on our front yard next year! When choosing our contractor to renovate our yard, we researched dozens of companies, and narrowed our choices down to three to meet and interview on-site. Eric from Flores Artscape impressed us the most with his professionalism, preparedness, and deep knowledge. He had very informative answers to all our questions, and even pushed back on some of our initial ideas--citing ways to save on costs, materials that could work better, or design choices that may be a better fit. That pushback is something we especially appreciated, and was often missing from our other two initial sales pitch meetings with the other contractors, who seemed to agree with whatever they thought would make us happy and sign a contract. Once we signed with Flores Artscape, work began very quickly. As new homeowners, this was our first time doing a major renovation project, and we weren t quite sure what to expect. After all, we ve all heard horror stories about contractors delaying builds, stopping work halfway for weeks at a time, demanding huge additional costs/charges, etc I assumed the project would take 2-3 months, with another few weeks of added delay time (especially considering the pandemic, labor shortages, building material shortages, etc ). It turns out all our concerns were completely unwarranted they estimated the job would be done in 6 weeks, and they were absolutely correct! Throughout the build, the entire Flores Artscape team was incredibly responsive, with emails and text messages often answered within minutes. Any changes to the proposed timeline or schedule were fully communicated in advance, and we felt completely in the loop the entire time. If we ever had any questions or concerns, we never felt like we were being brushed off or met with radio silence. Good communication is key, and the Flores team absolutely delivers here. As with any large renovation project, there are going to be some problems. As happy as we are with the work Flores Artscape did, we do have a complaint about one aspect of our yard. A few weeks after our project finished, our DG (decomposed granite) pathways started showing rather large cracks. Fortunately, even though our project ended weeks prior, Flores Artscape sent someone out to take a look the very next day. Ultimately they had a team of 3 guys come and re-work parts of the pathway within a few days. Great service! However Unfortunately, we re still having some issues with the DG pathways. The cracks have come back, and on top of that, recent rainstorms have eroded some fairly deep grooves into the pathways. We haven t alerted Flores about these issues yet (we ve been busy around the holidays), but I assume they ll do their best to fix the problems once we reach out to the team. I m also not sure if deep erosion grooves in DG pathways is just a normal thing people deal with when it rains heavily again, first time homeowner or if it s an issue with our pathway construction (maybe not enough stabilizers?). Despite some recent hiccups with the DG pathways (which I m confident will be taken care of), we re extremely happy with the job Flores Artscape did on our backyard. The fact that we plan to hire them again for our next project for our front yard should tell you exactly how confident we are with their level of service.

I just had Flores Artscape finish a huge re-landscaping job at my house, which included both the front and the backyard as well as laying a new cement driveway. It was essentially a make-over. They did a fantastic job and I am extremely happy and pleased with the result. The crew showed up on time everyday, and they made sure I was happy with the work, even if that meant redoing it. Communication was very easy with a project coordinator who was very responsive. They threw in extra touches, both in design and in execution of the design, that I didn t think of which made the landscaping look especially classy and professionally done. I highly recommend this company. You will not go wrong choosing Flores Artscape.

Flores Artscape did a fantastic job landscaping our front yard. We had them remove the old cement and replace with paver stones as well as install a drip system and all new plants and trees. They had a really good eye for the final plant and tree arrangement which really compliments our house and looks just great. I would be happy to work with them again!

We were looking to do a smart yard revamp on a new rental property in Los Angeles. The property had a remodeled house and a recently-built 2nd unit. So, we wanted a landscape design that would work with a budget for a rental, as well as provide separation of space for the tenants that were going to be in each unit. Also, since I dont live in LA, I needed a team that I could trust to communicate creatively with me and get the work done in an organized manner. After interviewing several firms, I felt that Flores was the best fit as they were happy to get creative to get this done on a budget, were available, and were well versed in what would work in this situation. Cody was on top of the project from day 1, and presented a design that matched our goals. Eric and team communicated almost daily, and offered solutions and suggestions that I hadnt even thought of. We spent a LONG time going through the deck of colors for the sunshade, and it was clear that they really wanted the best for our project. They were able to come up with great plants that will require almost no work, suggestions for pops of color, and a design that maximizes use of a shared space. These were definitely the best vendors that we worked with on this remodel. I have already invited them to look at another of our properties....

I had 3 quotes including Flores Artscape to install a fence on my deck. Baron provided me a price that was basically in between the other 2. Baron and Jan (foreman) were very easy to talk to and responded promptly. They were installing wood panels on an existing rusted iron gate. I had asked for a quote to have the rusted gate painted; however, we declined since my wife and I were more concerned of the wooden panels looking perfect. They provided samples of stains and were more than willing to provide more samples if I desired. The day of installation they painted my existing gate as a courtesy which I thought was very unexpected and generous of them. The crew was professional and cleaned up the job site when job was completed. The finished product turned out and better than I had envisioned thanks to the input of Baron and Jan. We plan to work with Flores Artscape in future projects.

The Flores Artscape team is top notch! The whole home improvement industry is challenging to find good, hi quality contractors, Flores is definitely one of them. I did the research on Yelp and Houzz. I tend to look for high positive reviews over a long time. I m a project manager for large scale events and I can see their level of expertise on all levels of my project. My entire project was about $13k, for a new front yard design and horizontal redwood fence. I did receive estimates from a few different companies, they all came around $10k, so they re not the lowest, but you are paying for premium service and quality. My original front yard wasn t in horrible shape, but we wanted a more modern and low maintenance yard that we can enjoy more. The appointment and consultation process was easy. Cody was knowledgeable and helped a lot with helping us figure out what design we wanted, as we didn t have a clear picture. We just wanted low maintenance and enjoyable front yard. The project was estimated for 2 week process, from start to finish. The team finished it in 8 total days (7 business days)! Not only did they finish early, they stayed true to the contracted proposed price! The entire Flores Artscape team is professional, courteous and experts at their work. With all house projects, there s always that sense of, do my contractors really know what they re doing? After meeting the Flores team, you will be assured that you re in good hands. Sandro and Carlos was our project leader, they were very knowledgeable and experienced. We highly recommend Flores Artscape to anyone who wants hi quality product. God Bless You!

I see they got some good reviews here, but that was not my experience. I did not hire them because they showed me they werent competent to handle the work. I had an appointment scheduled and confirmed for 9:30 this morning. I arrived early and waited until 10 before calling. I was told at that time I could expect them at 11:30. Nope, if they cant show up for the bid on time, they certainly are not going to do the work on time. Nor did they call me to tell me they would be late. They said they had a glitch. But, I had the confirmation with correct address and phone number from them on Google Calendar. The glitch was just lack of professionalism. Id have given them a 1 rating, but at least the apologized.

When we started our backyard, it was a disaster. We had a tear down and re-build project that we delayed for literally a decade. We turned to Flores Artscape to help us with the project. I recently had an extremely challenging backyard/hillside project that desperately needed to get completed. The work they did included: stucco, stone wall corner, Ipe wood work with benches, artificial grass, hillside planting, and pip and board. Id recommend Flores Artscape for any project, large or small.

We had Flores landscape our back yard (stairs, garden walls, planting, picnic area, hillside planting, paved drive/parking, drip watering)--which had been pretty much ignored for 20 years. The result is wonderful! We now have a back yard that is a joy to hang out in. And we get compliments all the time! The team was very willing to accommodate our specific wishes, and to revisit and fix things going along. Overall a great experience. Highly recommended.

Update (2019-03-25): A much more professional company quotes for $1k less than this expensive one! With same amount of work and a better customer service! Update (2019-03-20): Change to 2-star after an email communication with the business, but I still feel the business does not do things professionally and had many unnecessary excuses. They told me the early arrival of the representative was due to their system setting up the window of arrival 30 minutes prior to the original appointment time. But still this cannot be the excuse because the representative states he need to get back at 1pm for the next appointment, even though 1pm was supposed to be my original appointment time. They agree the price was expensive and send me the detailed breakdown of individual tasks. They also recommend me to ask neighbors to find cheaper options because they will charge for a half day of work to fix the filter, and because they are a larger landscaping company and do not usually do irrigation repairs for a single service alone. They apologized for not mentioning it when we set the appointment. They claimed those single review posters are from clients who normally do not write reviews but was asked to write one if they were satisfied with their job. Original Review: TLDR: Flores Artscape: No punctuality; No professionalism; Not worth it to do the work; Pay $1800 cleaning then I will do the work; Possible fake 5-star reviews; Avoid at all costs! Need to fix the filter on the irrigation system. I made the appointment at 1pm on Saturday and a person called me around 12:30 and told me he is at the property and he needs to get back at 1pm, so I have to abandon my lunch and follow their schedule instead. After a quick look he told me he is not here for fixing the filter and he is only taking a look. He told me I will get a quote by email after he gets back. But there was no quote or any email followup on Saturday. So I called in on Tuesday and they replied by telling me they feel it was not worth it just for fixing the filter! But if I do the one-day clean up for the backyard and they will happily throw in the filter fix for free! And the price? $1800! for a 7k sqft lot sized house! Then I double checked all those 5-star review on Google and found out most of them are reviewers with only 1 review! That should prove how honest this business is and what you should expect from them!

It would be impossible to recommend Flores Artscapes highly enough! They exceeded my expectations every step of the way. They are true artists and within two weeks of calling them I am able to write this looking out at the backyard I had been dreaming about!. Not only was their workmanship and attention to detail with the install impeccable, but I was really impressed with how the business itself is run. Communication was very clear from beginning to end. The bid, contracts, and work orders were very easy to understand and submit online. I was always able to reach someone in the office if I had questions and all of my emails were answered promptly. For the install they brought a large team and within a day and a half had removed an insane amount of weeds, installed plumbing (hard plumbing both for this project and for a future fountain), laid weed barrier, installed a layer of pea gravel, hauled away a significant amount of debris, and installed and filled new raised beds (including running soft drip lines underground for each bed). It was really amazing to see it all come together so quickly! On top of all this, Rumaldo (Owner), Arturo (Consultant), Carlos (Forman), and Daisy (Billing) were all were all so kind and attentive. I really felt like I was their only project even though I know that they had several other jobs going on. I will definitely be working with Flores Artscapes again!

Man, these guys just check all the boxes! Weve been thinking about redo-ing our backyard for awhile and after spending 18 months of getting bids from a couple different places, we were so frustrated at the lack of response and professionalism from a lot of companies! We were sure the process was going to take years. In comes Flores, who started our job within 48 HOURS of us contacting them! (And the bid came to us the SAME day!) . Professional, and super chill and easy to work with! Our job was on the larger side, (demo, excavating a bit, pouring concrete, building stairs, a retaining wal, pergola & privacy wall) and they knocked it out of the park. We were able to send them my inspiration photos from my pinterest board, they took those and worked with us closely to ensure the design was what we wanted. The crew was here for about 3 weeks (would have been a bit shorter had we not had so much rain). EVERY worker who was here was so nice, in particularly to our toddler who was obsessed with all their work & tools. Price-wise they were super comparable to everywhere else, so they were by far the best deal when you factor in the customer service Thank you Flores (Cody, Eric, Jessie & all the amazing crew!)

Flores is pretty pricey, but they did a very nice installation of tropical plants for me in Pasadena, which included soil revision, weed blocking mat, an all new irrigation system, all new planting, and mulch.

We were looking for a reputable and local company to provide landscaping and design services because our original landscaping was in need of an upgrade. We needed new drought tolerant plants, a new fence and a large deck to be refinished. So I decided to give Flores Artscape a try after reading their great reviews and looking at their website. It s turned out to be a good decision and the product turned out much better than I originally anticipated. I worked with Cody and Eric who provided a great deal of creative insight and excellent project management from start to finish, and were a pleasure to work with. Their work crews were top notch, always on time and very professional. Most of all, these guys are perfectionists and give every attention to care and detail as if it was their own residence(which is hard to find these days). The best thing was that they aren t satisfied until the customer is happy with the end product, and will continue to make changes and improvements until the client is satisfied. Overall, it was a great experience. I would definitely work with them again.

You will not find a better landscape company than Flores Artscape. We recently used them to completely redo both our front and backyard into a cleaner, more drought tolerant look. Not only did they knock it out of the park on the looks, they did it in record time. From the time I placed the call to the final payment being made was two weeks! We even had them come back with a few small tweaks which they did happily. The entire team is courteous and hard working and I cant recommend them enough.

VERY VERY disappointing, I had a meeting with the guys at 9.30 then they texted me he was going to be 45 minutes late at 9.20, I drove 45 minutes to get to the house to find out I was going to be sitting there doing nothing for another 45 minutes... Flores Artscape built a pergola at one of my companys properties. We were working with a tight deadline, and they were completely collaborative throughout the entire process. Moreover, after a slight mixup once the pergola was complete, they took less than 24 hours to have their subcontractor onsite to remedy the issue. The pergola is beautiful, the deadline was met, and the customer service cannot be beat - 10 out of 10, would recommend and would hire again.

Flores did beautiful work building a staircase up our steep hill in Monterey Park. Weve dealt with several companies in the course of fixing up a house and they were one of the most responsive, prompt, and communicative. We appreciated that they checked in about scheduling and were able to show up and complete our project soon after we hired them. They were friendly and optimistic throughout the process, even though (I thought) our hill seemed pretty daunting. We chose them after seeing other positive reviews on Yelp, etc. and viewing photos of their past work, and are very happy with our choice. We work in the arts and had a limited budget but their prices seemed reasonable for the scope of the job. Would highly recommend!

Not only did they give us a very quick and extremely reasonable bid, they worked with us to find the best solution for our problem both in price and construction. The work was completed very fast, very clean and very well done. The scheduling, communication, work, follow up was all incredibly great. I love it! My new drought-tolerant Flores landscape is still pretty and easy-care after 5 months, which was my goal. They were responsive to my need to be intimately involved in the design and installed it professionally, which included re-cementing some stones that had fallen out of a rock pillar and was not part of the original contract. Flores Artscape does excellent work, is reasonably priced, and - just as importantly - is a real pleasure to work with. They care about their projects and clients, and it shows. We worked with them to install a new pathway in our yard. They were excellent to work with from start to finish of the process - Fred, the coordinator for our project, especially. He was responsive, had great attention to detail, and really made sure everyone communicated well so that the work was clear and proceeded on schedule. There were a couple of small tweaks needed, and he made sure that they were completed quickly and perfectly. Baron, our sales consultant, was also very prompt in getting us the bid and responding to the revisions we requested as we started to figure out what the project should look like - he even did a mock-up of our (relatively small) yard so we could visualize the finished look. The crew members know their stuff - the masonry especially turned out really nicely. Were super happy with the finished product, and will definitely be working with them again in the future.

This is my second time using Flores Artscape and I can unfortunately say that I will not call them again in the future. I contracted them to install a new fence in my yard, along with a new gate and another small construction project. While the fence looks good, a few weeks after installation I discovered that the gate that leads to my front yard would no longer open. The wood posts on either side of it are not level, preventing the door from swinging open. I called Flores and they sent their installer out to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the fix did not work and after another week or so, I could no longer open the gate. It has now been months and in spite of multiple phone calls and requests, the problem is still not resolved. Flores has not sent someone back to resolve the problem, and I have not been able to open the gate to my front yard for months. Poor craftsmanship and poor customer service are not a good combination. If you are reading this review, I strongly encourage you to move on and find a different landscape company.

out of the 3 contractors i contacted, it was only Flores+Artscape that submitted an actual visual sketch .all others had all given matchstick drawings ( yuck). job done in 3 days as promised with no unsavory surprises. crew made sure everything was clean before leaving for the day. project done to my satisfaction. I replaced gravel with grass, they replaced my back gate and provided me with a much more secure option that was also aesthetically appealing and it all got completed super quickly. Excellent company, Flores Landscape are reliable and affordable. They worked with me and accommodated my own design, it was challenging but they accepted the challenge and came through with high colors.

Their work is a 5, but their communication, timeliness and punctuality is a 1. We had a moderately sized project (install DG & pavers in the front yard), and it took almost 2 months to complete what should have taken a long weekend. I had to constantly communicate with the front office to get anything done, and even then I was told things that never materialized. I can live with delays and changes, but to not communicate and leave us with a big dirt patch in the front yard for over a month was unacceptable. However, when it was done, it looked great!

We needed to get our concrete-paved front yard replaced by landscaping. Finding a landscaper to to do the job was really stressful. People wouldnt call us back, or made it clear they didnt want to do the job, or refused to listen to what we wanted. I was going crazy till I found Flores Landscaping. Wow, what a difference! They got right back to me, sent someone out right away, listened to what we wanted and got back to us quickly with a proposal that was right within our budget. Mr. Flores, the owner, even showed up to talk with us on the first day of work. Flores Landscaping employs some of the hardest working people youll ever see. Their crew worked for two days in the heat to get all that concrete out of there. We had some glitches and hiccups along the way, but any time something wasnt right they made it right. Carmen and Daisy in the office were right on top of everything. And we got our nice drought resistant front yard with walkways, river gravel and plants and its like we got a whole new house. Id recommend Flores to anyone!

We just had beautiful pavers installed in our backyard. Found the company through Yelp and Home Advisors. I had contacted another company first and they never showed up. Karl from Flores Landscaping showed up on time, is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to and listened to what we wanted. Throughout the project Karl was just a phone call away if I had any questions. He came by a few times to check on the work being done. We do have some other projects planned and we will be calling Flores Landscaping again. We are very happy with the results.

Very satisfied customer here! While looking around for someone to replace and upgrade my driveway, Flores Landscape was recommended to me by some folks in my neighborhood. After contacting, Karl, my salesperson was at my house within 48 hours to consult, measure and help me plan out the project. The bid came quickly, wasnt the highest, and wasnt the lowest....but I was sold on the customer service. Demo and construction began within the week, and was completed in 2 weeks....just what was promised. Raul and crew were prompt, considerate, and very skilled at their craft. Both Karl and Raul were available to answer any questions, and worked with me on changes along the way. Karl kept in touch with updates daily, even asking if it was ok to work on weekends. Dumpsters, port-o-potty all were delivered, maintained and removed in a timely manner. And as an added recommendation, I am currently working with Karl and gang on another hardscape project at the house. Happy customer!

Had a great experience with Flores Landscaping. They removed a cinder block wall and replaced it with rock wall. I was very specific about the rock to be used and the salesman was able to deliver samples he thought were appropriate. And only 16¢/lb. Cheap! The crew was tidy and on time every day. The work was done to an artisan level. And the price was fair. Hope to use them again in the future.
