We are on our 3rd year of NuLeaf and have no regrets. Our yard was a mess and we called them to help. They cleared our yard of all vegetation and slice seeded in fall with very clear instructions on watering and care. For several weeks after they stopped by to check progress and adjust as needed. Our yard is bright and healthy even in the hotter months of the summer. If you want a yard to be proud of definitely call NuLeaf and have them show you what they can do!

While we have been pleased with how our grass is thicker and greener, we are still having issues with weed control. Most frustrating is the promise to come out and seed areas that are bare. I am told someone will be out, and then nobody shows. And it has happened more than once. And then when they show, its too late, missing the ideal window for new grass to grow. The no shows is what drives the rating down to 1 star.

This company is one of the best I have worked with. They are on time/on the day they commit to. Their work is thorough and my lawn and mosquito control are both quite amazing. Happy to work with them!

Since I started using Nu-Leaf my grass has never looked so green,thick,and healthy as it is now. One of the nicest yards on my street except for three other yards that you service too. Someone with their own landscaping business told me that NuLeaf is the best lawncare company to with in the Springfield area and Ive been very happy with them. Love that they take the time to ring the doorbell and explain each treatment option and whats happening step by step. The results after my fall reseeding have been great - lush green tall fescue all around! Just water your lawn regularly and dont cut the grass too short and they do the rest.

Ray Wilkins did a great job yet again. He kept keeping informed, was very professional and respectful of me, my kitties and outdoor wildlife and my property. He made sure to leave a yard marker indicating services performed and precautions to take such as when it was safe to allow animals back on the grass. For several years Nuleaf has provided pest, weed, and disease control for my lawn. Last year they began also treating a hedge of red leaf photinia for disease. For a long time I had tried to treat the hedge myself, expending a great amount of time and effort in addition to the cost of the chemicals I used, but with very little luck. I was ready to remove the hedge and start over. Nuleaf began treatments midseason last year and has continued regular treatments this year. The hedge is now healthy! Their staff is professional, responsive and friendly. They know what they are doing and I highly recommend them!

The Technician knocked on the door to explain the service and ask how best to treat during a home during our home renovation project which was very accommodating and appreciative.

Despite a great start this spring, my green lawn was going brown in patches. Nuleaf technician Zach explained that my shady lawn has a fungus disease and offered 4 fungicide treatments which I accepted. He gave very explicit watering instructions which I am following: once a week watering of one inch rather than more frequent shallow watering. He also recommended watering before 10 am for maximum efficiency.

**Update: After NuLeaf read my review, they reached out to me and we have a positive conversation around what happened and I made some customer service recommendations that they were very open to. With the feedback I provided, Im sure that this type of situation wont occur again so I have added another star to my review. Thanks NuLeaf for responding and making this right. I know there are a lot of great reviews on this company but over time, our experience changed so thought I would provide some details so you can judge for yourself. For a few years, we had them come out for general yard maintenance/aeration/over seeding using their organic service and to be honest, I dont really think our yard looked that much better but we didnt know the difference. I decided to reach out to the company directly so we could huddle around my evolving dissatisfaction with the condition of my lawn and Carla was very nice on the phone so I thought we were making progress. She had a tech come out to talk to me about how to fix my specific situation, discuss new options to add, and I was just not impressed with the end result. He made me feel like there really wasnt a clear solution and didnt seem that interested in discussing it further with me, almost had a I just do the regular maintenance and that is what Im interesting in doing today feeling. I then reached out to pay our final overdue bill and send an email to close our account and tell them how we felt about the entire situation and nothing back, no response, nothing. Im sure they will say they didnt receive the correspondence but I definitely sent it. Overall, I think they are great if you are a regular, generic monthly subscribers to their basic services but if you really want to feel good about the partnership and come up with a personalized game plan for your yard, just didnt make us feel at all like our business was that important.

NuLeaf came today to apply fungicides to trees and plants. The staff and owners are really grate. Ive tried so many companies before who start out good, but then go downhill. NuLeafs people are professional, knowledgeable and always helpful. AND theyre more reasonably priced than so many other companies. I will stay with them.

I had three ticks on me in just over a month before using Nuleaf. Since then, I havent seen one.

We have used NuLeaf for the last several years for disease control in our lawn. We contract once in the spring. Then they advise us the day before they come out, the efficiently and effectively spray our lawn to control humidity produced diseases and put up signs showing that work has been done. This is especially helpful because we have children next door and do not want them exposed to the chemicals.

Despite the threat of rain, the NuLeaf technician, Mr. Hill, arrived as expected, and was happy to give special attention to certain areas that needed extra weed control. He also explained what services remain to be performed during the remaining two months of the 2021 season. We continue to be impressed by the personalized and competent manner by which NuLeaf has been caring for our lawn -- which has never looked better.

We hired them for past 2 years. Our lawn looks the worst its ever looked....tons of weeds, patches, yellowing, etc. And they were not inexpensive - $199/visit. After our first year I called them out to show them areas that needed to be addressed/improved and was a bit dismayed that they had let the lawn get this way under their care. I was assured it would all be taken care of, so we worked with them for another year and nothing was taken care of. It was a colossal waste of money and now I get to repair all the damage and try to bring my lawn back.

We had built and lived in our home in Great Falls, Va., for 44 years. Our lawn has never looked as good as it has been since Nuleaf has been doing our lawn, which has been about 4-6 years. Service outstanding, personnel outstanding an outstanding recommendations regarding what to do to as a customer that I should do to keep my lawn looking good. James Shannon and his staff have been outstanding all of the years.

Lawn looks rough after over a year with them and they aren t interested in trying to make adjustments and figure out why. Weeds are under control but almost all the grass they planted has died and much of the rest of the lawn is thin and sickly looking despite consistent watering, leaving big brown patches of bare dirt all over my yard. Worst part is that I was willing to work with them to try and get to the bottom of why it looks so bad but their response continues to be that it s typical of the season, which makes me think they haven t actually come and looked at the lawn like they said they did. If I was NuLeaf I certainly wouldn t want to double down on saying that a lawn like mine is a typical result for their company.

Best lawn service, and Ive had many. They delivered on quality and exceeded all of my expectations. Definitely consider NuLeaf!

Pete and Jon are awesome, Pete explained the program top to bottom and explained the difference between NuLeaf and the national companies, including free soil test, grub control included in every program etc. They really focus on the science of making a healthily green lawn. I have recommended them to friends and the best part is i get $30.00 for every referal
