The team showed up at midday of the snow day and did a great job of clearing the front stoop and the walks. When another snow undid some of the clearing on the second night, the came back the next day to clear it all again. Very happy with the service.

My husband and I have been using the services of Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care for about five years now and have only high praise. Our yard use to be an embarrassment but now is lovely -- we even get compliments from expert gardeners. We also started using the landscaping services of the company for my dads home last year -- plants were starting to get overgrown. Braudytt Reyes from the company worked with us to get the landscaping under control -- my dads yard now looks great. More recently, we needed to have some repair work done quickly in my dads yard (there were deep tire marks made when a heavy truck accidentally drove onto the lawn -- off the driveway). I reached out to Braudytt to get a date before my dads home went officially on the market to sell. We had Brandon Rushing for a couple years after we moved into our home for lawn services. They have an excellent team from the mow team to recently we had them create a landscape design for our front and backyard. Patrick Russell spent the time over the course of a few months and mock ups to make our plan come to life. Horacio was the lead of the onsite crew that took the time to make small adjustments in real time for our plan come to life. Hardest working crew I have ever seen on site digging holes for plants and trees to prep and final mulch work! We are moving into our second year with Brandon Rushing and were very happy with their crews work in our large yard. The crews are knowledgeable and, for the first winter in the 7 years weve lived here, our yard looks flawless following the first year of maintenance from Brandon Rushing. The company is the first company weve used that has not been in a rush to cut down some of the more ornamental perennials in Fall, allowing the plants stronger growth and us to enjoy them until mid- to late winter (e.g., ornamental grasses). Communication with Brandon Rushing is great, too. Whenever we have a question or request, the office team quickly responds. Patrick, in particular, has been our main contact and always available to help, whether its by email or easily scheduling an in-person visit from him. Further, BR notifies us by email whenever a maintenance has been scheduled or (because of weather) rescheduled. The mulch installation they recently did is beautiful. I just reached out to the office to say I think Ill sit outside today and enjoy how beautiful the yard looks! Highly recommend Brandon Rushing. This is our second year as a customer of Brandon Rushing. Through out this time we have received exceptional customer service and support from our assigned rep and project manager John K. Brandon Rushing is fortunate to have him on staff!!!

I have been with company since 2021. I noticed my wife and I never see worker work on our yard. There is online portal to pay bills and send messages. I sent messages our concern. There was no reply and they are not responsive. This company is very good at taking monthly pay but not responsive. Maybe they don t check online messages. Well I am sure they will notice that I cancelled the service and remove credit card from online. This is too bad because I also sent request for additional services but there was no reply too! This company has gotten too big and does not provide personalized service. I don t recommend this company.

I am not a customer of B Rushing, but wanted to thank the crew on Vogels Way, Springfield for the good job they did. They were blowing the leaves with some very gusty winds and many of them were blowing into my yard. Horacio Chica Garcias and his son did a great job running my down spout drain to the curb. They worked very hard, were very polite, and did a great job. After they left, you could not tell anyone had been here and the area looked perfect. Patrick Russell provided the quote. All Brandon Rushing folks are on time, and they do what they say they will do.

We use Brandon Rushing in our small community of 30 homes. In a word, I describe them as impeccable. They have a great and devoted team, they do a fantastic job and theyre always reliable. The entire organization from management to field services are excellent. The account manager for our property, Patrick Russell is wonderful to work with. I can reach him whenever I need to, and he has done site visits to address both weeding concerns and new areas of land that might need more attention. For the price, you will never find a better company to perform these services. They are truly elite in the job they perform in all facets. My community truly benefits from the work they do.

I would highly encourage anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. When I moved to a new house with a yard I was so excited to have space, but also overwhelmed by the amount of yard. I had a friend who had a great experience with them, but I have had nothing but frustrations. I will give them two stars for when they actually do the work it is decent. I m currently watching them sit outside in my driveway for the past 30 minutes doing nothing, and if past weeks are to go by they will take 5 min to actually do the yard without any care. We had them install sod which has been trampled by the workers and the remedy was to throw some seed down. We ve had them pay no attention and walk away when they took out a light. Jam our fence when they can t figure it out or leave it open for our dog to get out. Have to ask why things weren t getting done and create special projects. We have had to go buy tools and do work ourselves, which defeats the purpose of hiring a full service company. I would also say less than impressed with their customer service, in fact would say the majority of people I have dealt with have been quite rude. I may have been wrong, but paying over $500 a month I expected a higher quality. I would encourage to look to others that will work hard and try.

B. Rushing has been taking care of our church grounds---including the landscaping around the outdoor labyrinth--- for two years. They are very organized, communicate well electronically, will come out and do a walkthrough whenever requested and are generally very responsive. Our lawn is looking good!

I would highly recommend them. I was looking for a responsible company to put my lawn in shape and provide me with some landscaping designs.. This company has done both...Patrick, who keeps the company running, always gets back to me when I ask questions and if the crew is running late he always informs me which a lot of companies do not. His designs have made my yard look a lot better and I am really happy about that. This is my 3rd year with the company.

Stay away from this company they will damage your property! On multiple occasions last summer (2020) the company employees significantly damaged my fence and mailbox with a lawn trimmer. In addition, they damaged a concrete structure on my property (twice) with a large tractor mower while mowing my lawn. After walking around my property and showing the damage to the company field manager, he refused to repair the damage. I was then forced to contact the company owner who offered me a small amount of money as compensation for the damage. Needless to say, I quickly cancelled my lawn service with this company and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Mid-year 2020 we decided to engage the services of Brandon Rushing Lawn and Garden Care. We could not be happier with the service. Our Lawn and Garden Specialist is John Karas. John listens, he takes the time to hear and understand his client s intended goals and expectations. He understands most of his customers do not have his breath of knowledge and therefore asks key questions in order to propose solid lawn care recommendations. John has become a real partner in our effort to have a good looking lawn and landscape. John is a skilled communicator, should a project timeline need to change, we are informed in advance and provided with the reason. John is responsible, reliable, knowledgeable and respectful. John s team, Santos and crew are equally as diligent and as effective as John. Santos and crew are meticulous, they are experts at their craft and must be pleased with the final result for the customer. They work diligently to achieve an exceptional outcome. My most recent project was a landscape design. With John s input, we decided on a design surrounding a lawn drain incorporating plants, river rock as well as elevating a sunken walkway. Santos and crew did a fantastic job. As the work neared its end, I watched members of the crew move and adjust the larger stones, step back, take a look then make more adjustments to the placement of the rocks. They spent time with rock placement to ensure they achieved just the right look , they wanted to guarantee it was aesthetically pleasing. Rushing is a customer-focused organization. Clearly, they value our business and consistently demonstrate the old adage that the customer is the first priority.

We have been using B Rushing for probably 10 years now for our regular lawn and garden maintenance and are most pleased with their performance. They are very consistent in the quality of the work they perform for us and are above average. We also use them for special landscaping projects and their work is similarly above average. We highly recommend them.

We switched over to B. Rushing in 2020. Three other homes on our block were already using them, and we wanted our lawn and garden to look as good as theirs. They also stand apart from the other landscapers/lawn service providers in our neighborhood. They work out of clean, new, work vehicles distinctly marked with the company name. Their lawn maintenance team is equipped with modern lawn tractors and power tools. We receive emails from them weekly with status updates on when mowing, weeding, and lawn treatments will be performed. If there is going to be a delay, they tell us, and provide the make-up date when theyll be at our house. The work performed so far has been very, very good. Our lawn was in really tough shape and they are pro-actively treating it to remove all the weeds, and fill in the bare spots. They are very responsive to any request you submit via phone or email. Ive recently recommended them to a co-worker, who also hired them to service her property.

The entire Brandon Rushing team is absolutely fantastic! Our primary point of contact is John Karas. John is extremely attentive, client-centric, and detail oriented. Horacio has led numerous projects for us that have turned out wonderfully. Work quality is exceptional and the team is friendly, energetic, and committed to exceeding our expectations. There s so much attention to detail literally I ve never seen mulch beds edged like they do. Incredible! When you watch the crew work, you can tell just by watching how much they care about the work they are doing. John is also extremely attentive and regularly comes by to make sure everything is to our liking. Lastly, their communication and transparency is great. After years of being frustrated by mediocre lawn care services, none inexpensive and never being happy with the end product - we found and contracted with B. Rushing. This is the best money we have ever spent and the best contract we ever signed. We use them for year-round care - theyre so much more thoughtful than your typical cut/trim and it really shows. The professionalism and communication are unmatched. You wont be disappointed if you go with them.

I love working with Brandon Rushing and his team!! I had them install lighting and landscaping in my front yard two years ago and they did an amazing job. Just recently I had them install a drain pipe in my back yard to help remove water that was collecting in certain areas. Horacio Garcia and Victor Wynn did an excellent job! They buried the pipe, added sod and cleanup up nicely... you can hardly tell they were there! They had to navigate/work around the irrigation pipes that were buried in the back yard as well. I couldnt be happier!

I have used a number or lawn services, and Brandon Rushing is by far the best Ive used. They offer all-in-one service, so I dont need to schedule other companies for things like turf service, gutter cleaning and management of my irrigation system. Ive also had them plant bulbs and work on my drainage system. Everyone Ive worked with has been very professional, and actually listen to my needs, without offering a cookie-cutter solution. They are all-around one of the best companies Ive worked with.

They have dug up the grass instead of planting grass The pile the leaves in the middle of the road No one can drive around the pile and they dont clean it up until two days later After the wind has blown it around I dont recommend this company

I found B Rushing through a neighborhood referral last summer and they have been amazing. They provide complete care for my property and the quality has been wonderful. The thing that impresses me the most is their customer service. Its very high touch from the front office to the account manager to the team that services my property. We contracted with B. Rushing this year for our lawn service. Elmer, the service representative, was very knowledgeable and straight forward about the services they could provide. The crew came a few days later and cleaned up the yard from the winter, fertilized, and mowed. They have been back a few times since. When I moved a year ago the previous owner had used this company for a couple of years. The one thing that stood out to me was how green the grass was in front of the house. Now that I spend most of my time at home teleworking, I really appreciate the great work provided by the team at B Rush. I have been a client of B Rushing Lawn and Landscaping since 2018. I had purchased my home in 2018 and it required massive and unexpected renovations for house and landscaping, most of landscaping and design I had painstakingly done myself and had worked basically 2 jobs to afford it. Was grueling 2 years. As a single woman and first time home owner, I chose B. Rushing for their great reviews and dedication to customer care and service. They were pricey but thought worth it. And for two years was good. And what I have experienced in one week has changed that view. When a problem occurred instead of someone gathering information and working with me, I was met with defensiveness, dismissed, reprimanded and treated like a child. I had a new rep for area starting in 2020. When came home after working rough day at hospital on May 12,I saw my boxwood extremely cut back and shaped into very small squares. I know may not seem big deal but slow growing plants and had planted them small because what could afford and they were finally at a good size. Even my neighbors were commenting on what had happened. I called the 24 hr line to tell them upset that would like someone to call me back the following day to discuss options. See pics for before pruning and after I did not receive any calls. I called the company and spoke with a nice woman at the Main Office who told me she was unaware but rep for area wld call me. Told them I wld like to meet and when I d be home. Saw one text that said I m outside your house if you would like to meet sent around 12PM and had no idea who this person even was. No phone calls, no voicemails. Called Main Office again that on way home. Texted/called the rep to ask if we were going to meet. He finally texted back NO that he had seen property and cld be done on phone. Rep called later extremely defensive. I was upset and frustrated at this point. I said that I was unhappy. That no one had consulted me about shaping, no reason for severe pruning. He IMMED was dismissive and kept repeating I signed a contract and pruning included then blamed the prior rep then blamed me, reprimanded me and treated me like child. I stated because signed contract does not give company right to do whatever they wanted to my lawn to this extreme without consulting me. He again stated I had signed a contract which I did say back BS twice, which I regret swearing. Told him that as professional wld expect to be consulted for something like that and equally expected him to get my take on the situation, to see my expectations were and discuss resolution/options for both parties, or at least information on how plants wld grow back and recover. He again got defensive. After me trying to explain that worked hard to get property way wanted. He stated would discuss with Owner Brandon. Next day, no phone calls. I called the Main Office, they were unaware, told me rep call back. I asked for another rep as the one dealing with not get along/ was extremely defensive.Asked when my contract up. She was surprised and said contract was cancelled. Again no call/no dialogue. Told her I had prepaid for a mulch installation that when signed up for plant program and needed reimbursed. I looked at emails and had one email from rep that stated my contract canceled, refund for May (last service May 12th and with COVID they had not been at property for full time during prior months, which I still paid for). I tried text and calling but rep had blocked my phone. I tried calling office but no one would answer. I did receive follow up but after several attempts. Unnecessary drama for both myself as well as the company. I changed review from 1 to 3 stars because of the follow up by Melissa. Melissa explained about services cancelling, how contract settled out financially and refunded me about 1/2 cost of replacement for Boxwoods. If this was the service I wld have received upfront, wld have been 5 stars. Rec to leave customer service to Front Desk with problems and not service area reps

I heard about B. Rushing from a neighbor who was very satisfied. I needed garden care after my husband had a minor stroke. I have been with B. Rushing for three years now and dont think i will ever give them up. I have a maintenance contract yearly and they do everything to my satisfaction. Spring and summer mowing, fall raking, feeding of plants, mulching, shrub trimming, etc. I also have used them for enhancing the landscape of our yard with new Nelly Hollies, lime light hydrangeas, azaleas, lilac and dogwood. I planted zinnias from seeds in my flower bed, they were just ready to re-space. However all plants disappeared after B Rushing lawn crew coming. I emailed the representative. He responded that the crew had thought my zinnias were weeds, blamed me not to mark them therefore they were not responsible. As landscaping professional not recognizing plants lined in a flower bed are not weeds but blame me, this is the worst excuse one may have. I have planted annuals from seeds for years, and always had landscaping companies to maintain my yard. This is the first time to have so called pros to pull flowers out from their bed.

I found out about B Rushing from a very satisfied neighbor and have had a lawn maintenance contract with them for my home in South Arlington for a few years now. They have done a great job keeping the yard up since day one and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. They do the mowing, seeding, mulching, and yard treatments, and my yard has never looked better. Their communication and professionalism is top-notch and I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Elmer and his team have provided excellent customer service and professionalism. B Rushing does our weekly lawn service, but in additional to that we asked for a number of plants and mulch installation this past Spring and have been very happy with the results. To find a DC-area company that is both skilled and looking for the best interests of its customers is a rarity and B Rushing is just that. We used their services to handle some fairly complicated outdoor drainage issues and in all aspects of our interaction with them, their consummate professionalism and quality shined through. B Rushing had the interest of its clients first and foremost during the initial consultation, set-up meetings to work out details before the work commenced, the in-work process itself, and the after work walk through. They listened to the issue to be fixed, assessed the yard, and gave advice on how to best rectify our water flow issues. The plan was a collaborative event, and when the timeline to start work slipped due to inclement DC weather, their officer was timely in its update about when the project would now begin. I cannot stress how their communication with the client was an obvious company focus and how this contributed to our recommending them because this made the entire process so easy. When you are spending a good deal of money (let s be frank drainage is a needed thing and it can be costly!), you want to be in the loop about how that money is being spent. Last and most importantly, our water issues have been solved and my backyard landscaping looks amazing. I highly recommend B Rushing!!

The men who come to my mothers house are wonderful. My mother is handicapped and they do little extras to help her. It makes her so happy. She commented this past week how happy she was with this company. They are kind and really know their lawns. They have done more in one year with my mothers lawn than other companies have in years. Monday, Mar. 5 Mulch Job and Bed Expansion I just wanted you all to be aware that the three guys you sent out to cut additional beds and lay the mulch were amazing! With the storm over the weekend, our yard was a complete mess as it was still windy and cold on Monday so we had not gone to clean up all the debris that had been blown all over the yard. Not only did they cut and lay the mulch out for us, they cleaned all the mess up in the yard, which we had not expected. I have the full maintenance package and all things are done at the correct time and highly professionally. Examples the azaleas were pruned after the blooming season to set up for next years season. All my flower beds are checked for weeds and the roses are pruned to keep them blooming all year. They keep you up to date on what should be done each season and answer any inquiries.

We started having B Rushing visit our home this Spring. Patrick was very patient with us and our lawn is looking much healthier. I couldn t believe how well the beds looked after his crew took care of them. Everyone who has been here is friendly and kind. We also had them install some beautiful stone steps out back on a difficult slope. Again , 5 Stars!

Billed regularly, came rarely. We signed a contract with B. Rushing Lawn and Landscaping for a years worth of plant bed weeding and maintenance, billed monthly, with plant care and weeding on an as needed basis. The contract term was designed to run October - September, however Rushing stopped performing in the summer when we most needed the service and had already paid the bulk of the annual billing through the colder months of the year. In fact, Rushing never came as needed and fully failed to deliver services in at least two of the growing months for which we were charged (May and August). We had to request that they send a crew to perform nearly every month, accompanied by photos showing the areas that needed weeding. We also contracted with them to dig up the bulbs from the beds, but they simply clipped the leaves rather than actually removing them.

B Rushing needs a crash course in customer service. He refuses to replace a Blue Spruce tree he planted twice in our front yard only to have it die within months. He says it isnt under warranty anymore. So for 2 years we have had dead landscaping in our front yard and a business that fails in customer service miserably. Avoid this company!!

I live in a townhome community in Heritage Square Dr, Burke VA 22015, this company is hired by our HOA I m supposing. They do a good job in maintaining our playground area &?all their other designated areas but it is fall right now and as per normal there are leaves all over, which doesn t bother me but every time they come their lawn mowers blow all the leaves towards my front lawn, and after passes the person incharge of blowing the leaves and blows the leaves from the side of the street on to my front yard. I m a single mother and I do all my yard work myself, I had just racked all my leaves the day before and it s starting to get a little frustrating. I literally stood at my kitchen window expecting for them to see me and not blow all the leaves on my yard this time but they still did. I m sure they re in a hurry but that s just not ok.

I can t say enough good things about B Rushing and crew. The best praise I can guve is my repeated business. What I like best about them is not only do they take the time to listen to what I am trying to do but they have on several occasions offered less expensive options that worked as well or better than just doing the most expensive route. My wife and I have lived in the Crosspointe community since 1988. We have contracted with several lawn and landscaping companies over the years. Last year we worked with Patrick Russell to design a landscaping improvement adjacent to our home that involved removal of tree stumps and brush, regrading of the slope to ensure optimal drainage, laying down of a cut stone walkway from front yard to the rear of our home, planting of trees, bushes and flowers, and arranging for extension of our underground watering system to cover the newly planted area. Our yard was a mess and we were looking for help earlier this spring. B. Rushing came to the rescue!!! Cara was creative and came up with a great design to best utilize our yard and work with problem areas created by two big dogs. The B. Rushing team who did the actual work, which included completely new sod, development of stone areas, and a new tree, did a fantastic job. They were fast, clean and did quality work. I felt like it was just a quick maintenance and wanted a company who could do more and help me make good choices about what needed to be trimmed, fertilized, seeded etc... We were quite pleased with our experience with B Rushing. My husband and I had not coordinated our ideas when Patrick came the first time. He was quite patient with us when we contradicted each other through out that meeting. He had good plans and solutions and came up with alternate ideas when we asked him to. Also he drew up a new plan when I complained it was more than we wanted to pay. . He was always respectful, pleasant and accomodating. The installer bent over backwards too, to please us. Fixed my drainage issues, highly recommend! Overall Satisfaction: 5/5 Customer Service: 5/5 Quality of work: 5/5 I bought a home about a year ago and immediately realized I had significant drainage issues due to my lot location, sump pump usage and hard clay northern Va Soil. I like to do a lot of work around the home myself, but I couldn t figure this one out. I called B Rushing L&L, they made and appointment and came right out for the consultation. Quickly, Brandon, the owner was able to identify what was going on and gave me a few options to choose from. Based on my budget and timeline we chose an option and set up an install date. What I liked was they did it right from start to finish. Since the solution would be a long run of drainage pipe installed underground to get the water away from my home, they got the county out to my home to mark all the wires, ensuring they didn t cut any lines. On the installation day, the crew showed up on time, briefed my wife on the scope of work, and began. They ended up working all day, even facing a challenge of some large rocks buried underground, which they had to deal with. When they were complete, the crew leader took the time to walk me through the work and ensure I was happy with the project. We discussed upkeep and made sure I understood how the system worked. When they left, the yard looked like it did before. The company followed up with me a week later to ensure everything was working correctly. I even called them before the first freeze this winter just to ask how to deal with the snow and ice and I received a quick answer. I would highly recommend B. Rushing Lawn and Landscaping.

Ive used B. Rushing for at least 5 years. They are a wonderful company. The team that takes wonderful care of my yard also does snow removal for me. I have long, long driveway and regularly get plowed in by the county. The B. Rushing team does a great job shoveling me out. Over the years I have found that many is the time I go to bed while it is still snowing and when I wake up I find they have come in the middle of the night or early, early morning. They have shoveled me out so that I can make it to work or appointments. Their bill is one that I dont mind paying. I believe I get real value for the money.

We have used B Rushing for over 4 years and are extremely happy with their service. Cara is especially talented at suggesting ways to improve our front yard without having to do major work. She took our suggestions of having a low maintenance yard, colorful annuals plus perennials that would work well in part shade, be deer resistant, and attract butterflies and hummingbirds. We use the lawn mowing, fertilizing plan, and irrigation turn-on/shut off services and it is nice to have it all under one roof. We thought having high dollar landscaping done (not by B Rushing) would take care of the yard. Well, for a few months it did. But things like bare spots in the grass and bushes overgrowing, weeds growing in, that sort of thing just made the yard look bad (my fault for not keeping up with it). Not smart after spending a lot on landscaping. We got estimates from several companies (including the one that did the landscaping but that was like pulling teeth) but were impressed that Cara from B Rushing would only give an estimate once shed done with a walkaround with me. It wasnt the cheapest but turned out very well. It was explained that it would take several months to a year to get things looking as good as it could so a long-term contract was probably best. We initially went with a 2-year and are just beginning the second year. I contracted with them to do everything except mowing. We got a schedule of service and get visits at least monthly with yard tags to let us know what was done. We also get survey emails monthly, an e-newsletter, and follow-up visits to make sure everything is going well. The yard looks great! We are expecting to sell in the coming year and B Rushing will do a tidy-up to enhance the curb appeal. They are a full-service lawn and landscape company so you can have them do as much or as little as you need. For me, I just like to walk the lawnmower and theyre totally fine with that. We should have contracted with them a long time ago! Great job!

We are very happy with all that B. Rushing has just done to make our property look great. Brandon took the time to listen to what we liked, what we didn t like and designed a beautiful landscape for us. I will also add he didn t just put in what I liked because he knew what wouldn t work with our soil/sun/shade and made similar suggestions that would work. Our front and side yard landscaping needed a total overhaul. We worked with Patrick at B Rushing. He came out and I walked through what we wanted, he came up with the design and plan, taking into account the varying amounts of sun and shade. Then we swapped out a couple of the original flower selections. Because we were planning around May and they were busy, the actual work got done in September, since its a bad idea to try to do the plantings in the middle of a DC summer. Were very happy so far (were keeping it all watered and all is green). The work went quickly and the finished product looks great. I like the care they obviously take, such as slightly sloping the beds away from the house.

Not only do they do beautiful landscaping, but they care about our community too! They donated over 200 small pumpkins to a local elementary school where I teach.
