Cortes Landsape Inc in Longview

So I called Cortez Landscaping and set an appointment to get a bid on cleaning up my overgrown lawn and trees. After he was texted 30 mins after appt time to find out if someone was going to make it, got no reply. Now a total of about 1.5 hrs after the appt time someone shows up. I tell the man what I wanted done and asked how much? He refused to give me a price, but instead wanted to know my budget (ok whatever). Friday before the appt to do my lawn, I CALLED him to confirm our appt for the following Monday and he says he will be here. Now today appt day 9am start time, which was scheduled over a month ago, as of 10:39am he is not here. I that time I text him to find out if someone is still coming, as of 7:40pm still no reply.

August 2024 Dear Mr. Paoblo Cortes, A big thank you to you and your landscaping company for providing outstanding service to my private residence in Longview, Washington. I received several estimates and decided to hire you because of your honest attitude and clear knowledge in your field. Most of the grass had been ruined because of huge drainage pipes which had to be previously replaced. I wanted something low maintenance so Paoblo helped me decide on a plan. First the old grass was removed, then heavy black paper was put down to prevent weeds. In finish, large bark chips were placed where previous grass had been. Also Paoblo and his crew made a four foot wide gravel path in my yard to aesthetically add interest. I appreciated the excellent service provided by Cortes Landscaping as the crew was very hard working and completed the project in a timely manner. Feel free to contact me. Paeblo and his crew have been coming to our house for a few years now. Unfortunately the last two years we set a date for the work 3 to 4 weeks in advance and after waiting all day for them to show up they were a no show. His call at the end of the day saying he got busy. Scheduling the appointment is important. Keeping it is more important. Nice guy. Just getting to big to handle the work load. Rick Stack

Very rude people when you call them up. They argue also and they quote they give is not the real quote. Very poor customer service skills. Avoid of possible. John

They did my front yard: leveled the ground, pulled up a ton of overgrowth and weeds, laid down ground cover and river rock all for a great price. They worked very quickly and efficiently, the workers were very kind and respectful. Would highly recommend to anyone needing landscaping!

Paeblo came to me when he first started out. He quoted me a price which was reasonable. I had him for about 10 years until their business took off, then he got irresponsible and would not mow regularly. I kept calling Paeblo and he said they would come and they never would, so I had to find someone else. I guess he was not making much money off of me anymore. That is why I won’t recommend him.
