As a good client I was treated horrible. The tree cutting team didnt do the job and my sales rep didnt believe and wanted me to pay the full price. He did come over and see that the tree crew lied. Still charged me $750 to cut one branch! So glad I got rid of them. Over charging and under delivering.

We had an Apple tree blow down in a storm which was a bummer for sure. They showed up and got strait to work! The two got here a little before 9 am and the gentleman had the tree in back almost 3/4 cut down while the very nice woman repositioned the truck because it was blocking the driveway, had the everything out front all set up and ready to go. By 9:30 the tree in back was gone and they were in the clean up stages, they even took some old branches which was above and beyond! They did an excellent job and I thought was great while cutting the tree in back he noticed a new tree growing and decided to leave it, very good. If we need tree service again we will definitely use this location and ask for these two people plus recommend them to our friends and family. Great job!

Sav-a-Tree is the company we trust with the health of our many trees! Recently, we had quite a bit of work done on the Elms on our property to clean up the dead wood and keep the trees resilient to storm winds. It was a big job! It took two separate visits, and both crews were stellar. First crew: Daniel, Nick, and Josh. They came out on an exceptionally hot day, but managed to take out some very difficult branches that spanned into our neighbors yards. They did as much as they could safely in such conditions. Zach Garsez made sure we got a follow-up day scheduled quickly! The second crew: Zachary, Luna, and V. They were able to come up-to-speed on the project and assess what work still needed to be complete. They got the remaining risky branches down and did a stellar cleanup. Both crews communicated frequently to make sure we were satisfied with the work. I appreciate the willingness of the company to take two days when it is safer for the crews. True professionals!

SavATree Firestone is the most reliable, knowledgeable and professional Tree and Lawncare company. Plus the cost was very reasonable. Josh the Arborist came out to estimate and manage our tree needs. Rebecca and Kyle were the expert tree climber and tree pruners. They also cleaned up and chipped after the tree limbs were trimmed. We had a dying tree in our front yard that needed replacing, and a sprawling shrub taking over the patio when we first consulted with SavATree. Sharon, our ISA Certified Arborist, patiently went over options with us, again and again. Years passed -- the pandemic, personal challenges, so many things, right?! This year we were finally able to have them replace the front tree with an OK Redbud and remove the thing from the back yard. We also, spontaneously, had them plan a decorative Pear! The team that came out seemed more like a family than a collection of workers, and kept me posted every step of the way. When a utility line prevented Plan A, we were able to brainstorm and pivot to Plan C! All with good humor and professionalism. Im glad we reached out to SavATree.

Today Daniel and Zachary came out to remove two aspens and a small willow tree from my property they arrived at 8 and were done by 11. The whole process was less disruptive than I anticipated. I hardly knew they were working. Due to the location of the trees and nearby obstacles (sidewalk/ electrical lines retaining wall) they weren t able to perform stump grinding after cutting, but they were able to cut the stumps so close to the ground level that they covered it completely with landscaping rocks. They were able to grind an old stump in my tree-lawn area down to the grass level. They were incredibly accommodating when I asked for additional leveling in that area so that no mound remained. Sharon, the arborist, was honest with me during our initial meeting and set my expectations so I knew going in that the there was a possibility the stumps would remain. Great experience.

I had SavATree remove a silver maple. As tall and wide as it was, I thought it would take at least 2-3 hours. Dathan and Alli were so in sync in cutting and mulching the branches that the tree was down and the area cleaned up in an hour! I didnt expect the good job in cutting down and removing tree branches in such a timely matter. I also have to give a shout out to Kyle. He was the arborist assigned to me and his explanation about the process of the tree removal and tree stump grinding was on point. Of course I had questions and he answered all, even about future planting and the different trees on our HOA list. Kyle is indeed an excellent arborist.

I had a good experience with Mike Masters, the arborist and his team. I hired them for tree care and lawn service for the front yard last Summer and rehired them for the tree care for the back yard and front yard lawn service this Spring. In this Spring though, there was some miscommunication, but Mike and his team addressed it very quickly and did a fantastic job. The tree health and lawn health seem to be improving. Overall, I am happy with their service.

I had a great experience with SavATree Frederick. I needed a tree removed and a new one planted nearby. I also had them add mulch rings around all of my existing trees at the same time. Mike and his crew got the job done in a single day while I was at work, which was really convenient. When I pointed out to Mike that the new tree had been planted at an angle and the mulch ring around it was a little messy, he sent his crew back no questions asked to make it right, which they did. I appreciated their quick resolution to the problem and wouldn t hesitate to use SavATree again in the future!

I paid this company $1300 and they did not even touch the tree in my back yard that needed the most service. They present themselves and specialists, yet left my yard partially butchered in the front, and unattended in the back yard. I feel like they took advantage of me.

We have had an ongoing issue with trees in our lawn dying from water drainage and soil issues. We contacted Savatree as a last resort, and they had a professional diagnosis of the issue causing our problems, a program for how to mitigate and solve the problems, advice on a appropriate replacement tree, and had the work scheduled and completed in less than 7 days from when we agreed to do the work. The crew was professional, polite, explained what they did and had the work done in less than an hour. All in all a very positive, professional experience and highly recommended.

SavATree has been performing regular care for my ash trees and shrubs for several years now. We recently had a large Maple tree die out in our front yard that needed to be removed. I called Arborist Josh David, who came out promptly to evaluate the tree and provide a quote to cut the tree down and grind the stump. I did obtain a second quote from another tree company from a friend-SavATree came in with a lower quote, plus I liked the fact I could get the tree removed. the stump grinded, and a replacement tree selected and planted by the same company. The tree was removed with great precision and hauled off. They also did a great job of cleaning my yard, sidewalk, and the street running past my house. Josh has been very professional and easy to work with through the entire process, and also recommended several options fora replacement tree thar would suit my space, sun exposure, and soil condition. I am very happy with the great service provided by Josh and his team, and will continue to use SavATree for all my tree and lawn services.

Wed been very happy Taddiken customers here in Longmont since 2018, and for many years before that at our last home, but didnt know what to expect after their merger with SavATree. When I called on Friday afternoon, they gave me an appointment for Tuesday morning @9am, and Steve Aitken, our new arborist, showed up right on time. He came in, asked us about what we needed, walked around the yard with us giving professional advice and opinions, came in and wrote up a bid, told us when he could schedule it, and then even went out with us to mark the larger limbs that need removing on a large, dying mountain ash with spray paint. Steve has lots of education and experience, hes easy to talk to, he asks good questions and pays attention to the answers, and hes careful. It looks to me like were going to be very happy SavATree customers, too!

Ive been using SavATree for 3.5 years now to take care of the appx. 40 trees on my property that were all planted in 2015 - 2016. Everything is thriving and doing much better than before. Im very happy with the service and so are my trees!

I contacted Sav A Tree in September for several large trees that needed to be trimmed. The first team of arborist stood around in my backyard throwing string into the tree to bring down small dead branches. After an hour he told me he wasnt qualified to do the work. They requested that we move our hot tub to avoid damage from the tree trimming. A few weeks later, Dan the arborist did an excellent job removing MOST of the tree. He told me he didnt have the correct equipment to remove the tree trunk (about 6ft tall). Sine then Mike Masters has made multiple appointments to finish the job. THEY HAVE CANCELLED 5 TIMES!!! They had a no call/no show. I called and spoke with the office manager Jennifer a few weeks ago to complain. She admitted this wasnt the way they like to do business. She said she would make it right. The tree trunk is still waiting. I still have dead branches over my house and I miss my hot tub. I still have not be contacted to complete the work AND I JUST GOT BILLED FOR THE WORK THEY HAVENT COMPLETED! AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM IF YOU WANT THE JOB DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER. UPDATE: Its Feb 9th and still waiting for the work to be completed. I just received a phone call from Candi, at the Firestone office, telling me that my bill from the work completed in December is past due. Im attaching pictures that I took today of the dead tree branches over my home. Theyre trying to collect on an invoice for work that has not been completed. UPDATE: Its the middle of MARCH. I was asked to wait for the crew to get a special lift. They only trimmed 2/3rds of the tree. There was no explanation from the crew left just left it. Jacob, the Regional Manager has been in constant contact to try and correct the situation. He has remained pleasant and professional, even when I have not. I appreciate all the efforts he is going thru to rectify the problems.

The staff are extremely helpful with providing information about services that I need. The staff are communicative and not pushy. The website portal for my profile is extremely useful, providing prior and upcoming services scheduled and how much each will cost. No smoke and mirrors about what is happening. The local branch contact information is also front and center on my profile page of their website.

I have nothing but good things to say about these folks and they work theyve done for us. Everyone - people in the office, the arborist Kyle, and the employees who come around - have been friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The tree arborist Sharon that gave us our appraisal listened to me. She was very professional and I enjoyed our conversation about tree health. The young man and lady that did the work were excellent. They Did a great job and their equipment was top of the line and clean. They also were careful with the understory of native plants and did not harm one of them. Price is high compared to others but I m think this care is worth the extra cost

We have a 20 year old ash tree in our front yard that has been having problems recently with dead branches the last couple of springs. Not wanting it to die, we had SavATree come out to take a look. Sharon Blackstock arrived and diagnosed it with both freeze/drought stress and a lilac ash borer infestation. She recommended pruning, treating for the borer, and a kelp treatment to help with the stress. All treatments have been completed and everything is looking good!

Ive used this company for two years now for several different services and have no complaints. They always call to remind me when they are coming and reschedule with me if the weather is bad, e.g. raining cats and dogs. We are trying to save a catalpa tree and Savatree has been fertilizing with an organic seaweed/kelp fertilizer. The pruning they have done on our monster trees looks good and they cleanup after themselves. When they accidentally cut my drip irrigation line removing a stump, one of the guys put it back together. Yes, they are more expensive then other companies Ive used but you get what you pay for and they get 5 stars from me.

Very professional & accommodating. They removed the trees in a quick & safe matter. Even left some of the stump, as I requested so I can hang bird feeders on it this winter. Great Job!

Our trees had gone over 20 years without pruning and SavATree did an excellent job of removing removing dead limbs, trimming back limbs from the roof of our house, and re-shaping our trees. Our arborist was professional and knowledgeable, and the tree cutters were friendly and thorough with their pruning and cleaning-up after the job. Good tree work at a reasonable cost. But for such a large org you guys need to improve the invoicing, notifications, and online payment system. Like send an email that tells me what you want rather than asking me to login with no context! This is not personal sensitive information- it s a friggin bill for tree work! And then I receive a collections phone call when I ve only received 2 empty emails? It would be cheaper to fix your emails and website in the long run than pay someone to call for late payments.

I live in the mountains at 7000 and have a lawn that I have built up over 40 years with manure, compost and good dirt. It was wonderful for my kids to have for play and now my grandchildren enjoy it. BUT, it was always a lot of work! I couldnt find one lawn care company to help me five years ago because of where I live. SavATree came right up when I called them. They have been professional, available when I have called with questions, always called if they could not make it due to weather and ALL the people who have worked up here have been so friendly and helpful, as have the wonderful people in the office. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR ALL THEIR PROFESSIONAL HELP!!!!

The experienced team that carried out my tree trimming and removal were very professional, conscientiously trimming and shaping my tree and purposefully stacking the firewood I had requested to keep in a pile of cut wood for ease of management. And, the arborist who prepared the bid took the time to help me understand the risks of spending additional money in a likely vain attempt to save my 30 year old aspen (planted on the front range). Awesome people, never a complaint. If a problem does come up it is immediately fixed. We had massive cottonwoods cut down all old and dead. We like the guys so much we bought pizza for lunch and ate with them. Took the day off to watch, I will admit sometimes I had to close my eyes. I hate heights lol

I asked SavATree to tend to many trees and large bushes in my yard. I would definitely recommend this company. While Mike was assessing my trees and yard, he was very helpful and knowledgeable. When the crew arrived to do the work, they were prompt, worked efficiently, and did a nice clean-up when they were done. The SavATree team did a great job trimming three very large Honey Locust trees at my south Boulder property. They removed all the dead limbs and did other general pruning. The trees are looking much better.

Finally, finally we (and out trees) are in good hands! Mike Masters is an excellent arborist. He inspected all our trees and offered a care plan at a very reasonable price. Two trees had to go and Mikes crew removed them within a two-week period. Then they came and clipped dead branches off two of our huge Ash trees and two pines. They worked as true artists, with great care and love. Three ash trees will be treated against Emerald Ash Borer and our pines will be treated for the Zimmerman Moth. The entire SavaTree crew is highly professional. Their prices are very fair. Good company!!

They did a great job. Assessed our trees and told us how long they thought any of the problematic trees might last if left in. Provided a quote on the spot. Came to remove the trees when they said they would. In the end, we were left with stumps (which we opted not to remove) but otherwise, you couldnt even tell any work was done. No damage at all to the lawn, other plants or house.

I m miserable after poor pruning by SavATree. Severe removal of healthy limbs on one side of tree while leaving diseased limb which was in way of driveway. Out of balance. Not a lot of the tree left. Heartbreaking. Cost lots of money too to add insult to injury.

During the wind event on Dec. 15th, one of our large pine trees uprooted and came to rest on our fence and was hanging over the neighbors deck. I reached out to SavATree and they had someone out that day to look at it and provide a quote. The price was very reasonable, and they were able to come out the next day and remove the tree. They did a phenomenal job on removing the tree, there was no damage to the neighbors deck and minimal damage to the fence. I highly recommend SavATree!

Our lawn was nearing an unfortunate end state, browned out. Weedy. Unsure if we could revive or if we would have to do a complete overhaul replacing with entirely new sod and grass. Sharon came out to give me an estimate on tree services plus I wasnt sure about the remaining life of my beloved Cottonwood. She was terrific and showed me with the cottonwood why it was dying and why it should be removed now, she checked my ash to see if it was infected with borers and we set up a treatment. They are coming in Sept-Oct to take out the cottonwood and trim my trees. The ash has received treatment and I have answers to all my questions. The crew that trimmed/pruned my trees did an outstanding job. If I asked them to take off additional limbs they were either agreeable or they would explain that removing the limb may be harmful to the health of the tree. I dont often give 5 stars, but this team deserves it! My sales rep Keith Timm and the arborist assistant Sara Peglau are top notch! They are knowledgable, friendly, accommodating and transparent - something you dont often find in a tree care company. More importantly, I could tell almost immediately that the team on-site to trim my trees were not just some guys in a truck with a saw. They evaluated what needed to be done and why, carefully orchestrating each cut to make sure the tree would be healthy and I the homeowner would be happy. And their clean up! Incredible - you wouldnt even know I had a tree trimmed! The Firestone team is fantastic! Give them a call!

The arborist did an amazing job. We requested Ash Borer treatment and have not had any issues with the treatment so far. My husband also asked if the arborist could cut 3 branches so they werent going into our gutter while he was here. When we came home from work the entire tree was trimmed. It looked great but not what we asked for. When we received our bill in the mail it was close to $600. $90 for treatment and $490 for general tree care. We called the billing department up multiple times and requested a dispute...they finally called us back and said we were going to be sent to collections because they hadnt received payment. While this is true, we didnt pay yet, we were requesting change in billing. We escalated the call to a supervisor who reported even if the arborist had cut one branch its the same price...$490. We paid as we did not want a ding on our credit which was what they said would happen. The supervisor ended the call by saying Just so you know when you need even just one branch cut again let us know, but our prices have gone up $20. So it will be $510. Thank you, bye. Being a manager myself, I am so completely upset and irritated with the lack of emotion that was given. You can bet your leaves, sticks, and grass I will NOT be using the company again for any of my tree, shrub or lawn care. You just lost a costumer due to poor customer service!
