I had 18 trees and multiple perennial bushes installed 3 weeks ago. Service was great! The landscape plan was created easily after several visits and the follow up after installation was very professional. I highly recommend Pouls and will use them again in the future.

Working with Pouls was an excellent experience. We shopped around for a few quotes on a patio, sidewalk, landscaping, and paver porch. Thoroughly pleased with our landscaping project from Poul s. They replaced our front walk with flagstone pavers and updated the surrounding landscape. I ve had Pouls do a number of my landscape projects and I ve never been disappointed. This week, Dan came out and explained how to care for, water and prune all the new plant materials. I know that if I should have any problems or questions, he will be very responsive. Top notch company!

Pouls did an excellent Job. We had them re-do almost all of our landscaping, which is a lot as we live on a corner lot. We worked with Andrew to create a design we were happy with and then like all jobs added to it. We included fixing a drainage problem and fixing our brick walkway on the side of the house. t was a lot of work. There was great communication throughout. Once they got started it was amazing how quickly it was done. After they finished, we found a minor issue with drainage of one area of the walkway. They came out and fixed it immediately. All in all a great experience and we will use them again.

Landscaped 3 areas over three years. Areas were overgrown and rocky. They did a great job cleaning and planting. Rick did an outstanding job designing and we are very pleased with the outcome. We did have some bushes and plants not survive the winter. They were promptly replaced. Communication with Rick was excellent. He was prompt answering questions and giving time lines. Pleased with their service I contracted for a spring clean up. The communication in the maintenance depart was not as good. Lacking promptness in responding to inquiries. When they did the work, it was great. I do not know if they are pricey. We went with Pouls because of Rick. He was very professional, easy to work with and understood our needs. He is very good at his job.

What a wonderful experience from detailed design phase to completion. Rick & Kelly were so nice to work with and the whole crew did an amazing job! Update: Two years later the wonderful design from Rick has been incredible to watch as the colors of each tree, shrub & flower change with each season! Added more trees this year & meeting with Kelly to pick more trees was so easy & she helped us find the perfect trees again! The planting was quick & they do such a quality job! I cant recommend them enough from everything from design, planting, & maintenance.

We ve used Pouls for maintenance for several years and are very happy with their work. That is both for the care and quality of the work - and also the communications on weather and other schedule changes. The team that comes out has always been pleasant and they take good care of our property.

Great work done by Andrew and his team at Pouls. They were very attentive all throughout the process - scheduling, proposal, follow up and installation. Despite the lousy weather, everything was planted and looks great. Dan followed up within the week to walk through and answer all my questions. Everyone at Pouls is professional and attentive. I was so glad we picked them to do the work in our front and back yard.

Extremely disappointed! We paid over $15,000 for plants and top soil, only to have 90% of our plants die and our yard overrun with thistle weeds from the top soil that they used. When I confronted them about this issue, their response was that sometimes there are thistle seeds present in the soil but they have no way of knowing it. A commercial landscape company doesnt know what type of soil that they use. After 3 years, we are still struggling to eliminate the thistles. We thought that after paying thousands of dollars, and hiring a professional company like Pouls, we would experience the highest level of customer service. Sadly, we did not. What was supposed to be beautiful landscaping to look at, has become nothing but a burden. **Just a quick reply to Pouls response to my review: 1. When we sat down with a Pouls landscaping professional to design our landscaping, they asked us what kind of animals do we have in our backyard. Rodents were included in our answers, yet they recommended Junipers, which they stated in their response are susceptible to mice. They all died. 2. Yes we do have a small natural area behind our house. We lived here 7 yrs before hiring Pouls and never had any problems with thistle weeds. In addition, none of our neighbors, who also live off of the natural area, have any thistle weed problems. We are now getting better customer service and performance from our new landscaping company.

They do excellent work however they have now overpriced themselves so we haven t been able to use them for several years

Poul s did a beautiful job replacing our driveway, front walk and old patio with new Unilock pavers. Andrew and Dan were very patient in explaining the installation process and keeping us informed during the install. The work crew was skilled in removing the old materials, preparing the paver base and laying the pavers. And they also made sure that the work site was clean and orderly at the end of each workday. We are very pleased with the results of our project.

We live on a golf course, being so close to our property line I needed a variance approval from the city that was needed. I had 8 landscapers come and view the site. Poul s Landscaping & Nursery was the only one who stuck with me for my 8 month process for city approval. They did an excellent job with the install and cleaning up the location after the install of 25 pallets of material delivered on our front driveway and landscape. They came back in the spring to finish up the installation of trees and landscaping. We have plans for them to come back to finish our front foyer in the near future.

Pouls has done extensive work on the outside of our house, including installing a French drain, over the past 8 years. They have done a beautiful job and have been very responsive. They are the consummate professionals. While they are quite expensive, You get what you pay for. We have gotten incredible beauty, with flowers blooming four months a year. I highly recommend them, including Andrew Ptasienskis awesome designing and planning skills!

Pouls did a good job planting two trees and 9 bushes and mulch. It was a pretty easy job but it was done nicely. Rick came over to do an estimate and was very professional and thorough. However, Pouls did a bad job in communication. They said the owner will work on the schedule it took the owner well over a month to do so, even after the assistants were saying it should be done within a week or two. I am very disappointed in that level of service.

Pouls has done numerous landscaping projects for us over the years and we have been happy with all of them. Their designers are the best (we worked with Rick Ramoser)! The quality of the plants and the installation were superb. I highly recommend Pouls!

First I must say that the work itself was very well done, and Im happy with the job now that its finished. But as Ill explain, their communication, and everything leading up to the job being done was severely lacking. I think an email I sent to Kelly summarizes everything well, so here is my email to her (keep in mind that as of this writing, 2 business days, I have received no response from this email): I just received my final bill in the mail, and its different than the proposal. After having looked back at the proposal I see that you/someone did the math wrong and the total was incorrect (the individual prices for each part of the job was unchanged from proposal to final bill). I agreed to the job based on that total. I didnt add up all the items to double check your math was correct when I signed the proposal. Technically your invoice is correct. Technically I signed a document not realizing that I was agreeing to pay $306 MORE than what was on the proposal total. So because of those technicalities I plan on paying you the amount agreed upon, but Im pretty F&$%ING pissed about it. Your communication during this whole process has been absolutely atrocious. - Having to play phone tag for a over a week before finally getting in contact with Andrew - Andrew coming to our property and doing his assessment without knocking on the door to meet face to face and go over the things we wanted done - Having to ask you what type of rocks would be put into our yard before sending you the deposit (that should have been something discussed in a face to face meeting with Andrew...this is what itll look like, this is what to expect from us, etc.) - Having to call you to make sure that you received my deposit - Having to call multiple times to get a date as to when the work would be done - On the day the work began just seeing your workers all the sudden in my backyard (I have dogs and ringing the doorbell to make sure they werent outside SHOULD be standard operating procedure for landscapers) - The work taking longer than expected. They came back for a second day (half day) of work, but nobody communicated that with me. Nobody updated me with what was happening with my yard, and again I have dogs to consider when it comes to my yard - Lastly what you already know about, your communication through the proposal that had a math error on it Despite the work itself being well done, I dont plan on recommending your services to anyone. 4/5 stars - satisfaction with finished product 1/5 stars - communication and everything else 10/26/18 Addendum after getting a phone call with Andrew (response was 10 business days after sending the original email to Kelly) Andrew called me to go over some of my concerns. He was obviously apologetic and professional, and explained some of my concerns. - Phone tag is inevitable. I put that one in there for completeness sake, but I understand thats not necessarily anything they did wrong - He was under the impression that I didnt want a face to face meeting (so we could get the ball rolling sooner), so that was more of a miscommunication rather than poor communication - Not ringing the doorbell on the day of the job is what they normally do so as not wake sleeping babies or someone who works the night shift and is sleeping, and he assured me that he double checked to make sure the dogs werent outside - Lastly, he apologized for having the wrong total on the proposal, and that he implemented a new procedure so the customer will get notification that the deposit has been received. Overall Im satisfied that they got back to me, and that at least some new policies have been implemented. It took quite a long to get that response from Andrew, but oh well. Updated rating to 3 stars

I interviewed several companies and Andrew at Pouls was amazing to work with. He was always responsive and answered all of my questions and I asked a lot of them! They completed the job on time and everything turned out so beautiful. They were so professional to work with A few small things that needed to be adjusted were done so promptly. I would HIGHLY recommend this landscape company and would give them 6 stars if I could. They are definitely not the cheapest, but really, you get what you pay for!

We are so happy we chose Pouls Landscaping to renovate our homes landscape. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome! We had the pleasure of working with landscape designer Rick Ramosser who is so patient, creative and knowledgeable. He developed a landscape plan with so much character, colors and textures. We were very involved in the process as he guided us along with expert advice. Rick was always available responding immediately to phone calls and emails. The nursery stock planted was beautiful and the installers commendable. We recommend this firm highly!

Pouls installed two large stone basement window wells for us. Felipe and Candido did a fantastic job. They worked very hard, and we are very happy with the results --- the window wells turned out even better than we were expecting!
