Lawn Doctor is a great company with hard working employees, saving us time with our huge lawn area. We get Spurge weeds arriving via the secondary water system. The Lawn Doctors service for fertilzer & weed control is outstanding. Their service helps our lawn stay green & they try to control our weeds in our lawn. Nothing can totally stop that wicked Spurge weed in lawns, gardens, & flowerbeds until secondary water companies find a better way to control the source of weed seeds from coming through the waterlines. Those who use culinary water have less weeds, but of course pay more for water. 5 stars for Lawn Doctor!

I have been with Lawn Doctor for a few years, but the service this summer has not been good. Similar to other recent reviews, I question if they even treated my lawn the last few times. You use to see the pellets after the treatment and I have not seen any. I will be ending my service and finding another company.

I got a text letting me know it was time for fertilizer and weed control treatment. The price quote was 63.00. They came out and completed the work and I noticed on my ring that they were spraying my trees and laying down extra fertilizer. I get a bill today for 191.00. When I called and questioned it the girl stated that we had those treatments in our file previously. And that it was in the text with no price quote, I m furious that they would look in our file and do a money grab like this. It was not mentioned in the text. I was also told grub control is only done in the spring. I m tired of the misinformation given by them and this is not the first time they have pulled a stunt like this. I will not be using their service again and do not recommend anyone else using them either. People taking advantage of seniors seems to be the way of the world today.

Sorry folks, in spite of my keeping the lawn wet as requested by your tech, has done me no good as far as the lawn is concerned. The grass is dying at a rate I had not expected considering the techs visit on schedule and the treatments given. Much of the dead areas seem to have no roots and pull up easily and have the consistency of hay. I am guessing it has to do with grubs returning after ground mole treatment. They can power seed the area over but at a price of more then 300 dollars separate from the usual cost of the treatment plan I went with. I will now have to start over creating a new lawn in the fall. My confidence in this company has dropped considerably and do not think I will continue with them after the new year. This review is from south Jersey in Atlantic County for my local Lawn Doctor or associated offices.

the 1 star is accurate. i have been trying for over six weeks to have 2 simple questions answered. 1) Does your weed removal kill a specific weed 2) How do you stay in business with such horrible customer service? I have called about 20 times and have never received a call back when i speak with your local rep she can not answer my question and does not call back. I am not giving the full story as my time is valuable and if you value your time find a competitor.

We had webworm in our lawn so bad it looked like nearly the entire thing was dead. We were referred to Lawn Doctor by a neighbor who had the same problem 2 years earlier, so we decided to give it a try. We did the webworm treatment, weed treatment, and regular fertilizer routine. By the end of the first summer our lawn was completely recovered. This year, its so thick, green, and lush that several visitors and neighbors have complemented the lawn and asked how we had recovered from the awful distress we had last year. Im very happy to refer them to Lawn Doctor.

So the guys from the Lawn Doctor came again today 6/10/24. I talked to the technician about a couple problem areas that the weeds love to grow. Both young men were very thorough about addressing my concerns. I keep leaving great reviews for the Lawn Doctor because they deserve them. I get great comments about my yard all the time from my neighbors, its the help I get from the Lawn Doctor that makes the difference. So I just had the guy come to my home and blow out the sprinkler system. As we were talking he asked How do you keep your lawn so nice, it looks like a golf course. I said I just mowed it. My backyard gets a lot of weeds because it borders a field. I honestly thought my back lawn was going to be over run with weeds and I would loose the entire lawn but lawn doctor came and sprayed my lawn and killed all the weeds without harming my lawn at so!!! My lawn quality has improved greatly since beginning their service. We used to have thistle weeds throughout and could not walk safely. We tried for several years to rid them ourselves, without much success. By the end of the first season of using Lawn Doctor the thistles completely cleared. Our lawn is the greenest it has ever looked and I actually have had neighbors complement it, which has never happened in the past. Several of my family members now use them as well and they are seeing results, too. They text to let you know when they will be coming to service your lawn. Once it was the wrong temperature to do a weed spray, so they let me know they would reschedule and they kept to their word. I am happy they cared enough in not wanting to cause potential damage. I have text questions and they have been informative and prompt in reply. I enjoy the pay online option. Their technicians leave the bill/information packet in a clear baggie on the front door handle and never disturb you. I havent had a bad experience using this company and I think they are a great price and well worth the investment of improving your yard! Update: 3 years later and I still have nothing but good things to say about this company! I accidentally forgot my backyard gate was locked and they promptly contacted me and Jeff came back to service my lawn within the hour. He also paid attention to any new weeds and did a good job spraying them. The online pay is easy to use and now instead of paying monthly, I use their yearly prepay option that gives you a discount. Once and done. You cannot get any easier than that. Also to note, many of my neighbors use their service and all their lawns look really nice as well, especially compared to the lawns that arent treated. You can tell the difference.

Ive used many lawn and spray services over the past 35 years Ive lived in my home. I usually discontinue them and try doing myself, because l generally can make it look just as good. We love the Lawn Doctor! Our neighbors got web worm and grubs and our lawn was looking really bad. Lawn Doctor not only came out to do the treatments but they took the time to come back and check on us and explain to us what was happening with the lawn and what we could do in addition to the treatments. Our lawn got looking so lush and green that I had to keep the lawn doctor sign up so the neighbors wouldnt think we were over watering during the drought. When the snow melted this year, our lawn was very green and beautiful! We recommend Lawn Doctor for everyone! And we will most definitely use them again in the future! This summer we called Lawn Doctor back and they went to Preston to help my moms lawn. She is 84 and felt like the lawn looks better than it has in a decade. She is very happy with Lawn Doctor as well!!

Ugly dead grass overcome with weeds, despite everything we could think of to try on our own...it was so bad infact that I had multiple lawn care companies tell me that there was nothing they could do for our yard. On a last prayer and a whim I called lawn doctor. They have been amazing to work with. They came right out and did a thorough assessment. Which was more than anyone else would do for me. They found the issues and knew exactly how to treat them. They are so knowledgeable and really do great work. Weve had so many compliments on our yard, even after just the first application. So happy with Lawn Doctor!!

I love Lawn Doctor! My lawn is probably the prettiest in my subdivision. When they come, they are quick and I love that they pay special attention to the nasty weeds that are a pain in the rear to get rid of. I also love that if after 2 weeks from a treatment, the weeds in my lawn aren t dying, they will come back out and hit them again at no charge. I also love their communication. Whether it s be email or even a simple text, they are great at getting back to me. Also if an appointment time isn t going to work for me, they are awesome about rescheduling!

We have used Lawn Doctor for four years now and I wouldn t want to use any other company! They are so easy to work with and are timely when they come to service your home. We have been using their fertilizer, weed control, and pest control. Last year was the first year of us using the pest control and I ve seen a HUGE difference. We had a problem with hobo spiders and mosquitoes. Now it s finally under control. We still get a random spider but not 15 a month like we were getting. Best investment!

They do weed killing and fertilizing

The Lawn Doctor is the best. They always call the day before to tell me they are coming. They guarantee their work and even if just a few weeds pop up in between sprayings, they come back and hit them. The girls who answer the phone are very nice and helpful. This summer we started to have a grub problem. We tried to spray it ourselves but it didnt work. I didnt want to have to pay to have the entire lawn done. They came out and hit only the spots that needed it and only charged me for that little section. Within a week my lawn was back to beautiful. My lawn looks AWESOME and the Lawn Doctor is the best!! Today I had another service done that I hadn t had. They did a pest control spray. Brandon and Tanner were the BEST!!! They explained to me what they were doing, they were very polite and listened when I showed them trouble spots. I m a believer in this and give The Lawn Dr a 10 out of 10!!

Lawn Doctor is great! For years I used a much larger company to take care of my lawn. They did unacceptable things like knock over my flower pots with their hose and not even bother to pick them up. Never had much response when I had concerns. Lawn Doctor is quick to respond, communicates well and seems genuinely concerned for their customers. They even serviced my lawnmower last winter and did an excellent job.

Lawn doctor is great! They bring issues to our attention early we didn t didn t see, before it kills our whole yard. Our lawn was dying under a different service until we switched and it s never looked better. we are incredibly happy with them. We also had a huge spider problem and went through a few different companies that were spraying inside and out with bad results. Lawn doctor only sprays outside so I was nervous but it finally took care of the problem. I didn t find one spider in my house this year. They re incredible! Highly recommend!
