Realistic Lawncare in Livonia

Mike has done my lawn for over 30 years--superb service, very friendly.

I could write a book. But I’ll leave it at the woman I spoke to had zero customer service skills when it came to my many concerns. Had she heard my concerns and addressed them reasonably instead of telling me I was wrong for wanting communication and a service that was equal to what my neighbors received and that what her employees wrote in their communication log was the way it was, we could have maybe continued service. First service I expressed potentially wanting to start following week bc I had cut branches down to make it easier to mow and I hadn’t had a chance to pick up the piles. The guy told me he would have his crew move them. Apparently when they arrived the crew sent pictures and he told them to mow around them which is exactly what I didn’t want done. They could have skipped and just come the following week and said there was a miscommunication but they’d be unable to move branches. Fast forward to this week when they skipped my back yard bc my kids were playing with nanny but they assumed it was mom and assumed mom should know when they started neighbors house that kids should go in. Nanny is not from here and has zero experience with lawn mowing and all the guys had to do was say hey we need to mow here can you take them in or move to front. But zero communication. I understand safety concerns but making the assumption everyone is going to know is not the way one should work. They also just skipped the weed whipping every week and I had patches of grass missed in my yard. Lack of communication, making assumptions, and just being plain rude is not the way to maintain customers. Also if you call it will take days to get a call back and you probably will have to leave multiple messages. If there’s any lesson from this, customer service matters.

This company is amazing! I originally hired them to plow my driveway last season, and it was plowed every time it was necessary, snow or shine. I recently have had serious medical issues and can’t do complete lawn care for several months. When LawnStarter couldn’t find a mowing crew in my area, Realistic took over with a better price and better service. They will also do a leaf removal service, which I had trouble booking elsewhere. The staff are incredibly professional and polite. Wonderful!

We have been using Realistic Lawncare for snow removal and lawn care for years. They are excellent! Professional reliable and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this company. The owner Mike is flexible and willing to go the extra mile for you when needed. We are seniors on an acre and don’t know what we’d do without him! Would give 10 stars if I could....

This company has been in business for over 20 years, and Mike the owner is very conscientious about his business! They took good care of our business lawn and snow maintenance for years before we moved from the area. Always appreciated the genuine and professional attention to any questions or concerns! It's not always easy finding quality help because employees come and go in the lawn care business, but Mike has always remained dedicated and devoted to the business. I'd highly recommend giving Realistic Lawn Care services an opportunity!

They did the leaves at my neighbor's house, blew leaves and trash and sticks into my yard and didnt clean it all up. If you want a company that think its ok to leave a mess on neighbors lawn, these are the guys for you
