Simply the best! Cale Brown created an excellent plan for a flagstone walk, patio, and associated landscaping. Results were stunning. Expert design and implementation. Very personable, active listening, and flawless execution. Highly recommended.
Had my back yard removed and replaced with new sod and landscaping. Cale from D. A. Alexander recommended plants and placement for our project. Workers were meticulous and professional. I have used DA Alexander for many purposes over the years, from landscaping to hardscape/front steps to maintenance. The employees are very good at what they do and friendly, and make good suggestions as to whether existing services are needed or not, and what additional services might be needed. They are also reliable, unlike some other yard maintenance companies with whom I’ve worked in the past. The landscapers are talented- I’ve had great results with each landscaper I’ve worked with and they honor their warranty. Good experience all around.
Honest and sincere attention, experienced, constructive suggestions working with my wife in the planning, and then expert installation in every detail. The team at DA Alexander are just wonderful. I’ve been using their services for about 15 years at 2 different homes. The care about their work and want to make sure your happy with the work. They recently worked on putting in a stunning path and flower beds on the side of the house. They also replanted some of my plants I had in the back and added them to the new beds to help me save a bit of money. The biggest project was tearing out the original 30 year old front landscaping. What an amazing job! I can always count on Tim Brown to deliver the designs. I can toss out some ideas and I know I can trust him to bring it to life…but better. My neighbors have thanked me for bringing the yard back to life and thanked me more for raising the property values. Thank you team!!!!!
Cale and his crew have been so wonderful in helping me with all my projects front and backyard with deck and patio space creations . Cale has always gone out of his way to satisfy all my expectations. He is very meticulous in all his projects and he has always been very punctual in his work. I am so delighted to have worked with him and look forward to working with him in future projects.
We recently had DA Alexander design and build our landscape including hardscape. They did such a wonderful job. The whole crew was very professional and accommodating to our input. They clean up after themselves at the end of each day, and went above and beyond with their work. Overall, we can’t be happier with their work.

For many years, Mr. Fernando has given me a patio and it is perfect. I would like to have another one, but if he personally did it, I dont know if he is still in the company.

D.A. Alexander did a great job on our landscaping. We ve been working with them for about eight years. They are very professional and customer service oriented, and deliver quality work in a timely manner.
You want pay 100 dollars per sq ft for a design this is your place.
Do not use this company. Absolutely non responsive and installed the sod and irrigation but ask them to come back as missed a huge area and said find some one else as booked up till next year. Contracted by Toll Brothers so they got their money but a non responsive. Never use them
I considered giving this business two stars (one star for Google s default minimum plus one star because I m a nice guy), but I must be transparent and honest in my reviews: this is a one star business. Between completely covering my front door with snow as part of their snow removal services in the winter, and managing landscaping when a nasty fungal outbreak overran my community in the summer, I just couldn t find any room for this business to earn a single star. I highly recommend you look elsewhere, if you have the choice.
Extremely courteous staff and they do excellent work. They also stand behind their work if there is ever an issue.
Today, 9 June 2021, Robert and Nathan came to address questions regarding our sprinkler system. They were prompt, on time, which started the meeting on a positive note, marvelous. They explained the system, walked the property inspecting and adjusting the sprinkler heads as needed to ensure proper overlapping coverage. They patiently listened to and answered each of my questions so I thoroughly understood. They showed me the proper way to set the Hunter controller for the days of the week, or odd/even days to water, the suggested watering start time as well as the watering duration for each Zone depending on its location and grade. When completed I was comfortable knowing the system will be functioning properly in all aspects including a reasonable water usage. Robert and Nathan were awesome!!!
D.A. Alexander installed my landscape at my home in Northville. They did an excellent job! We worked with Cale and he was able to capture exactly what we were looking for. We love having people over and now we have the perfect landscape for outdoor enjoyment.

Moved into a brand new house. DA Alexander cut the lawn, shot a rock through my window. I and the HOA have logged 6 calls to DA Luke, who can t even return a phone call. Plenty of reputable landscapers in town. RUN, move on to the next!!!!
I called to see if someone could come out to talk to me and my wife about a back yard renovation including pergola, fireplace, and more. They women on the phone said it would be $1,200 just to have someone come out and discuss my options and the money could be used towards my project if I went with them. Now I have no problem paying a down payment once I get a quote, but to charge an upfront fee of $1,200 to come out and discuss a major project is unacceptable to me.
They get you to sign a contract and put a deposit down of 10% , then the price changed a week later by 15% in order to get the job done. When I asked for the deposit back they said it is a non-refundable deposit. They even admitted that the rep was new to the job that why the original contract was wrong. However, the company still refused to give the deposit back. Check with your friends and neighbors about their business practices.
We worked with Katie on a new deck and some landscaping of our backyard. I have no idea if they are competitive in terms of pricing. However, due to the high quality finished product they present, along with the very talented and skilled personnel they use, I wouldnt even think of looking elsewhere. We couldnt be happier with our new backyard! We look forward to working with Katie and DA Alexander in the future.

people were super rude when we call for appointments and also ask for adjustment of their work when we asked for fix small thing where sprinkler not covering front yard properly work that only needs 5 mins, that too when they are next time around my sub division , the lady replied very very rudely. they over priced the repair work and asked for some negotiation on cost one word we wont reduce... very rude attitude people sitting in their office..their workers do decent job but the people in office whom speak for appointment and billing are big jerks..
Today D.A. Alexander made a service call for a sprinkler zone with low pressure and three heads not working. They diagnosed the problem, dug two trenches and found my 25 year old Blue Spruce tree roots impinging flow. Fixed problem, cleaned up and you couldnt tell they were ever there... other than sprinkler works perfect. Service call done within an hour!
when I called to get a snow plow quote the woman I spoke to said she would send me a quote, making it sound like it was coming that day. The next day I called to say I didnt get the quote, and had she sent it. Her response was it takes me longer than 10 minutes to get it, so Ill get it over to you when I have it done. I told her not to bother. I would prefer to do business with someone without attitude.
DA Alexander just finished landscaping our new home in Northville Hills Golf Club East. They did an awesome job with design, installation and product quality. Our designer, Trisch, and her team of installers did a proffessional job in a timely manner. They kept to their word on all matters. We were impressed throughout the whole process and highly recommend them to do your next job. They go beyond the call of duty for their customers!!
