We just built a new Barndo in Goodrich, Tx. All the red dirt was awful tracking it inside. I needed grass!! I called MSC Landscaping and he got right to me the next day. Very nice, professional and helpful. Even the delivery guy was nice.

Worked with MSC on getting some Zoysia sod delivered to them. This company is extremely easy to work with and is great at communicating throughout the whole process. They are extremely punctual and are able to help with any thing you might need.

MSC came to my rescue and cured my water flooding problem he was fast a responsive and made sure the job was done right i will be calling on his company in the future for more adventures

We reached out to Manny and the MSC crew to help us do some landscaping around our new house. We had been struggling with drainage issues after the recent storms in Livingston and we were losing a ton of soil and sand. Manny came out and worked with us on how to shape the yard so that my kids would have a great area to play in and eliminate our problems with runoff. His team laid 20 pallets of Bermuda, did some landscaping rock and a ton of dirt and prep work to make it look better. Manny consulted me on an irrigation system that we will do in the spring with his team. They were extremely quick, clean and great to work with!

In an attempt to set up my pool for the summer I rented equipment and called MSC and had 3 1/2 yards of sand delivered. While attempting to spread and level the sand I realized there were hundred to thousands of rocks in sand at which time I advised MSC, they told me there driver cleans the trailer out and they have clean sand. They said they wouldn t be able to bring anymore sand but I could come get 1 yard. Attempted to get the yard they told me to come back at the end of the week because they were running low. Spent several hours trying to pick the rocks out now stuck with rocks in the sand and no equipment to finish the job. Don t recommend. Here is a picture I took of the sand being delivered where you can see the trailer wasn t properly cleaned and rocks all in it.

I worked with Manny and MSC recently to install some concrete drains at my home in Onalaska. His work is first rate and very reasonably priced. The crew arrived early and works late - and Manny is good about keeping in touch about the status of the job. I had water coming into my garage and tried everything to fix it nothing worked. Manny walked me through how the concrete drains would work and why everything else I tried failed. A day after the work was done, we had a massive downpour, and the garage is completely dry. Highly recommend this company.

I used MSC in 2016 and was vey pleased with the results but unfortunately in 2024 I used someone else and had to stop him putting the sod down because about 90% of it was dead and went back to MSC and again had outstanding results

The guys did an excellent job completing the work and cleaned up the area. Everything looked nice when it was done. We had drainage work done as well as dirt and sod.

We are so happy with the job MSC did. Our established yard had to be leveled because it held water and the grass would mold. MSC brought in 8 loads of dirt and gave us the leveled yard with a gentle slope to allow water to flow away from the house. Then they brought in 9 pallets of sod. It looks fantastic! I needed two pallets of grass installed. I found these guys on Google search. Called them up and they did require to pay half up front to purchase the grass but they re true to their word and showed up the next day and had the grass installed very fast and professionally done!! If you need grass these are the guys to call!! It can be difficult to find people who actually want to work but not MSC Landscaping. They get it done!!

I have gone to MSC landscaping numerous times, and normally have good service but this time one of the employees had told me to move my car up and another employee that was on a tractor started cussing me out. Not a good way to keep business for me anyway. In response to your comment: that is not at all what happened but I am sure that you already know that. He started cussing me when he was on the tractor when I was in my truck. All I was doing is not knowing where to go. Everyone has bad days but that was ridiculous. And doing that to customers!!! Come on man get real!

Msc landscaping is really the one stop shop for all your land scaping needs. They have every type of soil, mulch, rock, if it goes on the ground, they got it. Theres a few different places around to get landscaping supplies, but msc is usually half the price of everyone else. Highly recommend!

We have been here a few times for grass and flagstone. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable with their inventory. We will be back for more yard projects!

My husband and I bought 10 pallets of sawed last spring and the guys that came out were very kind and helpful. They dropped the grass pallets were we needed them to make it helpful for us to lay. Well this spring it was time for another project. We went to choose large bolders for landscaping. I was very indecisive because all of the rocks they had were so cool with detail that it made it hard. Well the guys were so patient with me. Finally I made my choice when doi g so the owner came out and told me about where he found the rock and why he choose that one. For him to take time out of his busy day to explain was so nice. Well it was time to set up delivery I work so he understood I could not take time off to wait on delivery during the week since they had to set this 3,000 pound rock in the right place. He was able to make it happen that day!!.When the delivery man showed up we were very impressed with him also! He new his equipment and we never questioned his ability to get the rock where it needed to be set.We will still be buying products from MSC!! We are so happy with the custermer servise, GREAT JOB MSC! We will be back for more rock in a couple weeks.! Highly recommend them!

We have used MSC many times and they have always been fair, helpful, quick, and I have no complaints. Nice people, nice services. I usually just purchase, have them load my trailer and then we install. But Ive bought loads of bull rock, over rock, pebbles, 40/60 mix clay, topsoil, sod, etc. Much cheaper this way than via lowes or Home Depot.

Manny and his team recently installed 22 yards of bull rock, 11 pallets of grass, and some flagstone. They also trimmed some tree limbs. The initial work was good, but I cant get them to return for some needed repairs. We have talked many times. You even came by to look at the work and showed me the check.

We used MSC for a bulkhead washout. They repaired the bulkhead and poured a new sidewalk with a concrete drain that keeps rainwater from washing out behind the bulkhead. I was totally impressed with the crew. These guys.are masters with concrete. They did a wonderful job and made the area look great. A very professional job, and clean up. I will use them for future projects and recommend others to give Manny at MSC a call.

Horrible customer service, or non existent, I place an order for some pallets of grass, I confirmed the order in the morning of the day of delivery and was told they would deliver that afternoon. I waited around for over 5 hours and after several attempts to reach them finally got to talk to the owner who simply told me that his son was busy and forgot to call me and let me know that they weren t able to get any grass that day because of the rain the previous day, I m still waiting for the apology, won t buy a rock there.

Manny & The Whole Msc Crew Are The Best All Around Lake Livingston......Highly Recomended.

Tried to get a bid for drainage. Manuel said he would be out next day at 4pm and would text when on his way. Never received a text. Called the office, girl said she would speak with him right now and call back. Never received a call back. Stopped at their place, spoke with Manuel. His response, Oh, that was today? and then he and his helper proceeded to laugh. Said they were backed up for 3 months and couldnt get to that. Fine. You should have said that on the phone the first time we spoke. I could have saved time by calling a competitor. Which I did. I will never call this company again.

We had MSC lay 3 pallets of sod. They maneuvered the pallets down our fairly steep dirt driveway with a small forklift and had 4 guys laying the grass at once. They did a brisk raking to get the mulched pine straw out of the way and made quick work of laying the sod. They also cut the sod to fit around the trees with a machete. I would say 45 minutes total and they were done. Cannot even imagine hauling this much grass from Lowes or Home Depot and laying it ourselves. This was a big treat for us!

MSC just finished installing three pallets of sod for me. The workers applied the sod the way I asked in a very professional manner. Jose, the lead man, was great... He got it done! Manny, My contact with MSC made sure I was happy with results. I would highly recommend MSC for all your landscaping needs. I was going to install sod myself. but fee was too low to pass up, especially for an old dude like myself. Thank you MSC landscaping.

I called and ordered two pallets of grass on Friday and was told it would be ready for pick up on Saturday after 10:00, since they had a shipment coming in earlier Saturday morning. My husband even called before we left to verify our order was ready, they said it in fact was and we could come any time. We arrived and were told that our order wasn t there as the shipment hadn t been delivered. They had my name and number and didn t even bother calling to save us the trip over. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Manny just finished a job for us and his team has done absolutely wonderful work. They installed irrigation with a pump, sod, retaining wall, fire pit, crushed granite parking space and stone work in both our front and backyards, and removed two trees. The entire property has been transformed from rocks and weeds to a beautiful space that can be enjoyed by all. This is the second house MSC Landscaping as done for us and we are just as pleased this time as we were last time!

I highly recommend MSC for landscaping. We have been using them for 5 years now, since moving to the area. They have never let me down, whether i needed dirt, rock grass or some landscaping, their courteous staff have always come through.

I cant say enough good things about MSC Landscaping. When we initially called Manny in July we had a call back within minutes. Manny came out to bid the work, didnt try to upsell me on anything, wrote out a pretty detailed bid and stuck to the price. We had underground gutter drains installed, topsoil around the perimeter of the foundation, bull-rock around the perimeter of the foundation, and sprinklers installed. During our 8 station sprinkler system install they ran into an issue with one of our exterior outlets. Their electrician found the interior outlet that the exterior outlet was run off of had been covered up with sheetrock by the Seller/Contractor that had remodeled the home. Once the issue was corrected they did a drywall repair and the right way. Not to mention they didnt charge much at all to get the electrical work & drywall repair completed even with it costing them a few more hours than anticipated. Once they wrapped up, Manny said all we needed was grass and that could happen later. I asked how much and when and he had the grass delivered same day, installed. I have been watching their work on Instagram for weeks. I asked Manny TONS of questions on the details and he always took the time to answer them. Cant wait to hire Manny and his polite and very hardworking crew to do more work at our home. This is a company you can trust...without a doubt.

We had the best experience with Manny and his folks! They spread our top soil and leveled our front yard, then laid 6+ pallets of St. Augustine grass! The grass is beautiful. They were very prompt and delivered ahead of schedule. We are grateful and very pleased! We highly recommend them!

Manny and the MSC crew did a great job for us. We had our 130 ft. bulkhead redone and needed new grass installed. Not only did we get exactly what we asked for, I under estimated the amount of turf I needed. Manny was able to deliver three more pallets to finish the job of 15 total pallets delivered and installed on the scheduled day on time and delivered great quality turf that was super important to me. Would certainly use MSC for future projects and highly recommend.

We did not have a good experience with MSC. (Follow up to my original post, after MSC responded to my original review) But you provided the quote to cover the area. Your estimate was short. When asked to complete the area I asked for you wanted to charge more. I paid $1,600 for an incomplete job. I also tipped generously. The original job was for more work but after missed commit after missed commit on cutting trees down I asked you to just finish the yard after you refused to give my money back as I asked. You couldn t manage a simple job, I certainly wouldn t ask you to do more! I have text messages to validate all of this. Such nice people but will recommend to friends and neighbors to use someone else.

We are so pleased with the response from Manny during pretty tough circumstances. We hired them to lay some rocks, dirt and grass to help prevent further erosion to our property. Then the skys opened up and having nothing but rain delayed the install. With every rainfall we were losing more ground. He finally was able to get the job completed yesterday between the raindrops and we are so delighted with the outcome. It has been a very tough time with the rain and it has been very frustrating for us having to wait but I also recognize it has been more frustrating for them. Best Landscaping company in lake Livingston

MSC Landscaping is fantastic. Theyve serviced the Onalaska and Livingston area for 20+ years and their teams are always reliable and professional. I very much appreciate all the work MSC has done over the years. Over one year later and this fire pit has been the gathering point for our family and friends. Its been fantastic! 6 months later and another 5+ star review. After taking down a 25+ foot palm that died in the Texas freeze, we cut it down. MSC landscaping was onsite the next day to help with the removal. Cant thank them enough after a local tree guy missed multiple appointments to do the same job. Had I known MSC would have done the whole job, I would have hired them from the start. Amazing how clean the area was after the MSC team came to clean up the fallen tree

My family owns a house on water with a serious drainage issue to the lot. Manny was hired by my mother, Cheryl Fox and we are all so pleased with his work. MSC Landscaping installed a concrete barrier & sidewalk along the length of our lake bulkhead in order to eliminate washouts due to high waves. The end product is very nice looking. They were very attentive to detail. The crew also laid new soil & sod to correct some drainage issues & to even out the terrain along a new sidewalk to our boat dock. We are VERY pleased with the work & recommend Manny & his hard-working crew for any landscape needs.

Got a load, I mean a HUGE load, of river rock today from MSC Landscaping. Been wanting to drop in for several weeks now since I come to Livingston every week to get my pool water tested. So glad I stopped by! These are the nicest people ever! They were so willing to help me! MSC has any kind of rock you can imagine! I have use MSC Landscaping on multiple occasions. When we lived in Onalaska, they took care of the lawn at the church on numerous occasions. They were always professional and did a phenomenal job. They took care of the little details to make the place look pristine. I moved about two hours away, and I still drive to MSC for my landscaping needs. I have bought grass from them on multiple occasions for both my business and my home. Every time I ordered from them, the order was ready for pickup when I got there. I had Manny come out and give me a quote. After talking about it with my husband we decided to go ahead and make an appointment to have 4 pallets of sod laid down. I called Manny twice and no answer. First time I left a message. Second time it went straight to voicemail in which case the box was full. I called their main office and Savannah said shed have him call me back. 2 days now and no return call. I do believe now either they dont want money or they simply dont want to service a rural area such as mine. Sad I was going to give them a lot of money. Guess they dont want it.

MSC Landscaping is the best.. no question about.. they are A+ for customer service. They showed up on time. They worked hard and careful with attentiom to detail. The owner has much experience in irrigation and I have a water drainage issue thar I will be calling on him to start on very soon as well. Do not mess around with other contractors that just pretend they care.. I wasted 3 months messing around with unreliable contractors that gave one excuse after another for not showing up with 6 loads of dirt work and 12 pallets of grass. Fortunately I was introduced to MSC Landscaping and I am so happy. They can be trusted. They show up and will work in rain even to get the job done. His crew is excellent. The pricing is good and fair and I will be calling on them to return to do a 90 drain and maintain my general lawn service. They cleaned up before leaving and really made sure that I was happy. MSC Landscaping made my day and I highly recommended them to everyone I know first. Call the best and you can relax knowing it will get done right and on time. We ve used Manny and his crew at MSC Landscaping for over 11 years for our lawn service and many other landscaping projects, including our sprinkler system, walkway and fire pit and they are the best!

MSC Landscaping replaced our 20 year old wooden retaining wall with this beautiful austin stone in the Fall of 2020. They also replaced a smaller retaining wall alongside our driveway. Icing on the cake was carefully selected landscaping around the garage. Four months later we experienced the very hard February freeze of 2021 - ALL of the plants survived :) Manny and his team work to the highest standards. They keep the job site clean throughout the project and make great recommendations. They are a very reputable company and are in high demand - therefore be prepared to wait your turn and pay a little more. Their work product is definitely worth the time and money. We have several projects in development for our home in 2022 - MSC will definitely be our partner :) PS. This is the first review I have ever written for a business - reflection of my respect for Manny and his team.

MSC replaced sections of the sidewalk on our bulkhead. The work is great, and it was completed ahead of schedule. The team were very responsive, and the end product was exactly what we needed.

Bob and I have used MSC for the past 10 years on various projects around our home. It has included leveling and installing a large rock bed, installing bull rock around the foundation of our home, removal of part of a gravel driveway and replacing with grass. We have also bought may pallets of grass! Manny and his family and staff have been great to work with, plus they do good work at a competitive price. His workers are friendly and willing to please.

Worst company! We called to schedule services and they wanted us to pay first! We told them we would pay when they arrived on site to do the job and just like we expected they no showed! When I called to get an update on arrival the guy said they had things going on and will get to us when we can! Good thing we didn t pay first.

Not only were they not professional nonresponsive, and not there on the days they said they would be. They didnt contact us before they loaded and headed over to the address they had but they called us after they dropped off our sod. They dropped it off at the wrong address and when I went to look for my sod I called them and they gave me the run around about the address they dropped it off at. Luckily it was in the area where it was supposed to be but on a neighbors yard. They said they put it in the shade and it was in the beaten sun. Then to top it off they never told me the address it went to then I asked them if they could go back and pick it up and they straight up told me no. So we had to figure that out. But the topping on the cake was this... when I was talking to him about where it was he actually gave me the neighbors number where he just dropped it I guess because he knew him. So he told me to call this guy and he knew where my sod was. What kind of business makes a mistake tells you they wont fix their mistake then continues by pawning you off on someone else to try and figure out where your stuff is and how your supposed to get it moved. Im not talking about a little bit of sod Im talking about 2 to 4 pallets of sod. We will never use them.again and I will be contacting governmental offices about this. My consumer right are protected and this company shouldnt take peoples money and then not do their job.

I spent just about $3600 in grass in about a month! . On e weekend was charged x amount of $$ the very next weekend was charged more for the same amount of pallets. One driver was clueless as to how to unload as he almost lost the right side of the truck in the neighbors yard , them drove on my recently installed grass and made ruts that took another tractor to fix . It was like watching Laurel and Hardi unload. Lets move onto to the next weekend. I was told grass was going to be delivered on thursday afternoon , Like I have been told before in my orders, only to call the next morning and ask where it was . I was told by Manny that I would get it at 11am . from that point forward he wouldnt answer his phone and it just went straight to voicemail. Mean while I had installers waiting . Very unprofessional and not sure he is paying the taxes that he is charging all of us . So... You decide

I moved to Texas not so long ago from New York and was missing the pizza lol... I went to see a family friend in Livingston and I seen a outside brick pizza oven I ask him who build it he told us a local landscaping company. I got the information and I gave them a call I explain to them that I love the pizza oven that they built and I want something similar to that but unfortunately I was not located in Livingston I live in Humble TX. I can t recommend MSC Landscaping highly enough. Manuel and his team do it right the first time. They aren t the cheapest but they are the best. They ve solved some pretty dramatic drainage issues for us using both french drains and trench drains. They replaced our bulkhead boardwalk with concrete (280 feet!) and did a terrific job. Give them a call - you ll be glad you did.

Usually get a Pick Up scoop of dirt from Panhead ($7.00)..but they were closed..so I stopped at MSC....WOW..the young man told me a scoop of dirt in my pick up would be.. wait for it.....$22.50. REALLY..what a rip off.... hate to see how their other prices rip people off. Shop around.
