It turns out I didnt have any major issues after not being able to get my sprinklers to run after moving into a new house but I didnt know what the issue was and called AJ. He came over within 45 minutes, found the issue, walked me through the zones, programmed my system, looked at the infrastructure I already had, and overall was great. The service, responsiveness, and knowledge were all better than I couldve hoped for. Mans got a customer for life.

AJ is awesome. First, his communication and professionalism is excellent. Second, it is very apparent that he has a ton of knowledge when talking to him, his experience really shows. Third, he is very practical and easy to work with. I also appreciated his brutal honestly and willingness to help. There were sections of my system that he could have easily charged me up for, but instead in a few zones that I really needed to get working ASAP, he showed me how to fix one or two breaks with spare parts I found in my shed at which point I was able to fix the others later on my own. In a few other zones that haven t worked in years, he suggested new install and offered referrals rather than have him chase down years of cracks etc, which would have been costly and less superior than new system. I appreciate good advice that not every repair service would have given. Bottom line, my wife and I recently bought a home that needs a fair amount of work so we ve been dealing with a lot of various repairmen, contractors, etc and AJ stands out above the crowd. He has my confidence. I wish he worked on more than just irrigation systems as I d love to keep working with him. If you re looking for an irrigation technician, give AJ a call.

My wife left a voice mail and never heard back. Apparently didnt want the small job. This jokers reply to my post is implying Im in the business. I am not. Keep this in mind if you are looking for a reputable company. And yet another snarky reply from this moron at Always There Irrigation. Yep Sprinkler Master took great care of us when he did not return our call. But hell keep replying to all his negative ratings in the same way. If he spent as much time running a good business and returning calls he wouldnt have to spend so much time trying to disparage legit reviews. I suggest you read them all and make your own judgment.

Optimized our irrigation, improving coverage and installing water conserving sprinklers. Voles, rabbits, weeds and drought crushed the yard, AJ brought it back to life! He has replaced dead plants as well. His after service care is wonderful, he drove by the house and didnt like the coverage of one of the sprinklers and added a new head. A true professional and partner in keeping my landscaping healthy. An update! I am an unabashed yard guy. AJ has replaced other irrigation heads reducing my water use by about 50%. We are trying to catch up with my neighbor Rodney s post card front yard (see his review). AJ recently helped us with new perennials and irrigation for those and addressed some lawn issues. I can t say enough about his character as well. When I had my shoulder surgery he called my wife and told her to call if we needed anything moved and not to risk injury. Following the recent tornado, he was very responsive extending himself for others. A true professional and great human!

The company owner (AJ) came out immediately to put a temporary fix in place for an emergency situation and came back a few days later to do the full repair. Its rare to find someone who is passionate about their craft. Not only is AJ a masterclass on irrigation systems, hes super smart. You can tell he is willing to troubleshoot complicated situations and has the experience and confidence to find a solution. He gave me several incredibly clever solutions to fix a couple of bare spots in my yard and explained why the problem was occurring and why the advice he offered would fix the problem. I learned a lot! If he gets too busy I would simply advise him to raise his rates... Id happily pay more. :) UPDATE: AJ is still the BEST. A man of integrity, and incredibly whip-smart.

This seems to be a one-man operation. The guy is pretty nice and did a good job with my sprinkler system. I thought I had found my go-to sprinkler/landscaping guy. The problem however is that hes not responsive at all. I called him and left messages a couple of times for different jobs (at least one was quite urgent), but never received any responses. I dont think getting back to a customer is too much to expect from a business. So, I find the business name Always There quite ironic.

Simply put, AJ is THE MAN for irrigation service. I have an old system that was installed in 1968 and others Ive contacted refuse to work on it and instead want to install a new system. While I understand the benefits of a modern system, installing one is not in our household budget at this time. AJ has deep knowledge of irrigation history and is passionate about what he does. He came out and explained in detail how my system works and what the current problem was. When he came out to do the repair, it was determined that it was a simpler fix and explained why. I contacted AJ due to some issues we received when the city was doing work on the main line. He arrived within a half hour and had a solution in place. AJ is such a kind person, very helpful and full of good information.

We had the absolute best experience! We had received a notice from the city that we most likely had a leak in our irrigation system. We reached out to Always There Irrigation and got an immediate response to set up a quote. They were very flexible with scheduling and worked with us to find the right time that worked for my family. The leak ended up being a simple fix and we weren t even charged! They even stayed around after and helped with weed control on our lawn! I can t say enough good things! Alan learned that our church group had arranged to clean up horse stalls and lay new crushed gravel in outdoor enclosures for a non-profit that provides free horseback riding lessons for people with disabilities. AJ is simply outstanding! AJ (and Always there Irrigation) is the ONLY sprinkler/irrigation/lawn-guru Ill ever recommend. Halfway through upgrade of an older system (lots of previous bad fixes), AJ diagnosed the major problems, gave me a reasonable estimate, and was partway thru the fix when we hit a snag. We had two mystery valves buried in my front yard AJ hunted down, and he really worked his tail off to find them. He coulda said Oh well, ya need 2 new zones but nope, his honesty, hard work to solve the valve issue, and the impeccable quality of his plumbing work has earned my full respect. You want it right, get AJ. Will follow up with before / after pics in a few weeks!

AJ, owner of Always There Irrigation, is an absolute pro. He knows his subject cold - all plants, trees, turf, fertilization and irrigation. After realizing that, I have turned him loose with only one request - make and keep my yard looking stellar. And he sure delivers! I get comments all the time about it. AJ does great work, and he lives up to the company name - I first called him to blow out my sprinklers, during a snowstorm, after another company just didnt show up. Hes since patched up our sprinkler system after a fencing contactor punched though several lines, and installed a great raised bed irrigation drip line system, that worked like a charm. Quality and timely service. Cant recommend highly enough.
