Doing business on the web and via email is exactly why I decided to use Grassbusters. The communication is excellent, and I like the weekly updates they send out. Not to say we have not had a few hiccups along the way, but the issues were handled expediently and professionally.

I am so happy with Grassbusters! They come every week, without fail and they always do a nice job. The clippings are bagged and placed in our trash bin. Its hard to find a good service, but these guys are great!

If you are looking for a reliable company, I would strongly recommend NOT hiring grass busters. I hired grass busters as I am 6 months pregnant and needed help with aerating, fertilizing, overseeding, and weeding our lawn. I spent nearly $300 and hired them on May 3rd. We were informed they wouldn t be able to service our area on the 4th but would be out on the 11th. That was understandable. However, they did not show up on the 11th either. We reached out to the company and we were promised they would arrive this Monday the 15th. But they never showed up and I even waited one more day (Tuesday) to see if they would show. They didn t. If you want someone reliable to provide you a service on time as expected, do yourself a favor and hire another vendor. It is super disappointing I am writing this review and did not get the services ordered as expected.

Wow. Truly a fantastic experience working with Grassbusters. Following a 2 week vacation and a ton of rain across the front range I came home to a jungle in my front and back yard! Truly overgrown and beyond what I could manage. I booked an on demand mow for $150 online using the easy to use website. I left clear instructions for the mowers there. A day later, I reached out to confirm the date of service, and asked if there was any way they could possibly fit me in sooner. To my great surprise, about an hour later they turned up at my door! Jamey did a fabulous job following my (probably rather odd) instructions, and checked in frequently to make sure I was getting just what I want. The poor guy probably had to lug 20 bags of cut grass and weeds out to his truck, but did it all with a smile and attention to detail. I am so grateful for the urgent help, fast response, and friendly detail oriented service from Jamey. Dont hesitate to book this crew - truly amazing!

Initially the prepaid service was not delivered and I got no response from the company when I contacted them via phone. After leaving a 1 star review I was promptly contacted via email, and the service was then delivered within a few days.

Grassbusters has been taking care of our yard for the past 12 months. We recently also had them do some weed and brush cleanup. Our yard has never looked better!

I switched to Grassbusters when my previous lawn mowing company was giving me too many issues. Grassbusters may be slightly more expensive but the quality is there. They are so professional and responsive to switching days/times/etc. They offer so many services that they really can do all of your lawn care needs. Best of all, they are always on time! I needed my grass cut for a summer per I was out of town a lot for work. Grassbusters did a fantastic job. Every time I came back home the grass was mowed everything was really nice. I never had to worry about it. They did it for a reasonable price that I could afford. Thank you for everything!!!

Incredibly rude, didnt finish service and no communication

Thought it was too good to be true that I could sign up on Sunday for on demand aeration, seed spreading and weeding services and have them done that week! Grassbusters delivered and did a great job!

Today was our first day of service with Grassbusters and at first we were a little confused because we tried to call and there was no one to get through to. We ended up setting up service online last week and hoping for the best. Today was their first day mowing and the gentleman doing the work was so quick and quiet we didn t even notice at first! I was concerned because after we turned our sprinklers on the grass was extremely long. Without us needing to ask, he mowed everything down to one of the longest settings for length so it wouldn t go into shock and die. Even being longer, it s still very neat and clean. So far, we are quite pleased! We will see how the rest of the summer goes. -H&M

I have to say Im super grateful for the work performed by Grassbusters at my small property. As a healthcare worker the past few years have been exhausting and Ive had zero energy to maintain my yard. They came out and did a clean up and I was extremely impressed with their prompt and professional service.

I have asked several times that the bags of grass clippings be put in the trash receptical in the alley. I am unable to lift the bags. If I could do these things I wouldnt need to hire a service, I could mow my own lawn. I keep hoping they will respond to my request. Not only have they continued to leave the bags in my front yard (there now 4 bags), I havent heard anything from them. proceed with caution. UPDATE 6/30/20: Grassbusters has responded to me concern. Grass clippings have been removed from my yard. They do a good job and did respond to the problem

I paid for service and they never showed. Im so disappointed as I work hard for my money. I needed my yard mowed. I paid yesterday and waited all day and nothing. I feel robbed and want my money back asap. No way to get ahold of someone should have known better. Please refund my money asap.

I wanted to leave a review because Jerry, the co-owner was working on my neighbors yard, which looks great, when I popped over to see if he could help just thin out a few weeds with a weed whacker that I couldn t reach with a mower. He was more than willing to jump over and help and isn t ask for any money at all. He took the time to line everything up all tidy and to clean up the weeds we cut down that were long overdue. Wow! I wondered if i could find anyone to do aeration this late in the year (July 1), and then found Grassbusters through Yelp. I scheduled an appointment online a couple days ago, and they came and aerated my lawn today! Fast, easy, and competitively priced

I signed up for service and was charged for service last week. I signed up on Tuesday around noon and they service my neighborhood on Tuesdays so I wasn t sure if I d receive service that day or not but I was charged for it. I did not end up receiving service that day which is understandable considering I signed up for the service the same day. I reached out by phone and their mailbox is full and can t receive voicemails. I called multiple times throughout the day and couldn t get a hold of anyone. I reached out by email and like 3 days later someone emailed me back and said they would be there to mow the lawn next Tuesday. Next Tuesday rolls around and they never showed up AGAIN! Not sure what the deal is??? VERY DISAPPOINTED! Also they make you prepay for service so I ve been billed twice now and they haven t done anything! Had to revise my review because I spoke with Gerry and he made things right! Came out of the way to mow my lawn on Friday even though they service my neighborhood on Tuesdays. Did a wonderful job, the lawn looks great! And they mowed for free! Thank you for turning things around! I have to revise this review yet again! We had problems in the beginning which we resolved but then the problems just kept coming. They broke multiple irrigation valve covers in our lawn. The first one that broke they replaced and then broke the replaced one along with another one in the lawn. They say on their website that they do edging but they only edged along our front sidewalk but we had two other paths that required edging as well and addressed this issue with them but they still never did it. They left the bags of grass in the lawn and in our back driveway even after we asked them to put them by the trash cans so that our trash service would take them. Pretty disappointed with these guys! They definitely aren t reliable and they are bad with communication. They seem overwhelmed. Probably not best to take on new clients when you are in over your head!

Ive used Grassbusters for nine years. I wont use anyone else! From doing my widowed mothers lawns across town, to having to move my manual sprinklers nearly every time, theyve always been thorough, friendly, and gone the extra mile for us! I bet I havent had 3 issues in all that time, and they are always ready to make anything right! They are a great family and always try to hire great people. This is one business that still cares about quality work and customer service!

This was my first season using Grassbusters and I couldnt be more pleased! They provide great service at a reasonable rate and were always punctual. Even minor courtesies like tossing the grass clippings bags into my trash can for me go a long way. I look forward to continuing to utilize their services in the future!

Ive never left a review for any company before. For me to do so is a testament to how bad this company is and buyer beware. Extremely unprofessional. You will receive long winded emails from the owner complaining of bad on-line reviews and begging you to write a positive review on-line. They often times would accept a job at a price just to complain that you did not pay enough and try to charge you more after the fact. I once had them blow out my sprinklers and they did not inform me that they opened water value in the piping near the solenoids (a practice that not recommended in the sprinkler maintenance community) which caused flooding that made its way into my basement. When I called to complain they accused me of lying and being a bad person. Hence I fired them on the spot. There are so many more companies out there that are more professional and less expensive. I would STRONGLY recommend against hiring these folks.

The worst at what they do , employees and owners are garbage

I subscribed to their service. Never showed up to complete the job. Ignored repeated requests for a refund. I used them last year and was happy with their service. I have no idea what changed this season. **UPDATE** Company issued refund within minutes of posting this review. Adding back a star because at least the issue is resolved.

Still dont have my lawn mowed from last week. They claim to be slow due to rains earlier in the month. Other neighbors with other services have been mowed on time. My lawn is 3 weeks from mowing..so far... P.S. They are current on charging for service just cant seem to provide it. Also many contacts for status have gone unanswered! Sad!

Rapidly increasing prices and rapidly decreasing quality. Were great before, but this year it was 50/50 as to whether the job was done properly.

They missed my services. I paid $125 for an on demand service it was scheduled for 5/27. They never showed up. I emailed them and got a reply 3 days later. I asked them my lawn is overgrown and it needs to be done immediately. They told me they would schedule it 8 days later. No apologies or anything. I have been using their services for around 7 years and I wont be using them again.

It appears they have over booked themselves this year. No show for 2 weeks and no response to requests for refund. Update: received refund so they get another star

The Grassbusters team have been a really great provider of lawn mowing clean-up and maintenance. They provide top notch quality execution of their services and welcomed professionalism. UPDATE: They refunded on June 1st, I have added a second star. We had high hopes for this company since they have an awesome name and their website is easy to use. Their reviews were also very positive up until now, it looks like there are other customers experiencing the same thing. They suggested that we choose the lawn regeneration package, and we wanted to add the sprinkler turn-on service. The process seemed easy enough and their response time was quick. I added those services, selected the preferred week of service (Apr 26th-30th), and my boyfriend paid for it. The lawn regeneration was completed on April 28th, but they never told me about it. No note, no email, and no flags. The lawn was obviously aerated and it looked great -but that was all I could see. Im a first-time homeowner and have no knowledge of what a lawn treatment looks like. Anyway, I assumed they d say something but were too busy -and to be honest, so was I. After waiting a week, I reached out on May 8th to clarify which services were completed. They responded quickly, and even sent me photos of when their worker was there to complete the aeration, fertilization, and overseeding -I would have appreciated this email, too! They said they d turn on our sprinklers next week , and that they d contact me so I knew when to arrange to have someone there. I was happy to wait since it was a rainy week, no problem. May 16th rolls around so I reached out for an update, and they said they d come by that week. They signed me up for their Newsletter so I could receive updates, and that was fine for the time being. That week passed and I reached out a third time on May 23rd, and I received an auto-response that did not address my question (when are they coming to turn on the sprinklers?). Instead, I received an excuse of how it s their 12th year in business, they re growing rapidly, etc. Since I ve been signed up to their newsletter, I have received a total of five updates, none of which were relevant to us since we did no subscribe to any services. The latest update was sent on the 26th, with the explanation that they have had an abundance of emails recently and the backlog is too big to dig out of. We will not be able to return every email for a short period of time. If you have an urgent or unresolved matter please send 1 email per day until we resolve the matter for you. We start at the front of our email box each day and get those first before going back to old emails. While I understand being busy and drowning in emails, it is unacceptable that we have had to wait this long since we already paid for the service. I already sent two emails since this update, our grass needs to be watered. At this point, my boyfriend is fed up. He paid for the service and is now looking for a refund because Grassbusters is clearly too busy to turn on our sprinklers.

It seems like Grassbusters used to be good. Unfortunately, recent reviews are accurate. My family has used them for ages, but lately, their device has dropped way off. They re already more than three weeks late on the last service, and the lawn is extremely overgrown. We were told that we d have to pay double if the grass is too high. It s only that high because they re not meeting their commitment. We re listing the house, and need the lawn mowed ASAP. I d strongly recommend a different service. UPDATE: They ve just sent one person to mow the giant backyard. If he doesn t finish today, he can t come back tomorrow because they re booked solid. Unless they have customers that have been waiting longer than 3 weeks, this is just ridiculous.

Used to be a great company to use but I have to echo all the recent comments - they are terrible now! They dont show up for weeks on end, do sloppy work, when you try to get them to comeback it takes weeks to get them to - to receive the service that should have already been done! To boot there are now multiple companies that offer more frequent, better quality service for a lower price - choose someone else!

I have been charged for service 3 times by this company. They showed up once to our property and left. They have not once reached out to issue a refund or to say when service would take place. Seems like robbery at this point.

I have used Grassbusters off and on for a few years and called recently to have them aerate and seed a lawn at a rental I own. I hadn t been over there until now and WOW what a difference! They sent me before pictures and you d never believe the barren mud hole they worked on was the lush green lawn I have now. Great job Grassbusters!

Another one that never answered the phone

I hired them to do a one time service paid them and they said they would be here. It s been 2 weeks and I now can t get a hold of them. I have emailed them many times to get a refund. They don t respond to any emails or calls, so maybe a review will get them too. They are a scam don t hire them. I am still waiting for a refund.

My last mowing was ridiculously bad. The grass was long and that s not Grassbuster s fault, but leaving behind giant clumps of grass clippings everywhere that damaged the lawn was definitely careless. But... the main reason I canceled their services is they doubled ( yes, doubled!) their rate for every other week mowing WITHOUT informing me. In my opinion that s a terrible business practice and I won t support a company with unethical business practices. There is legislation being passed that addresses this and will make it illegal to raise rates without consent. I support that but it saddens me that a company I used apparently needs a law to prevent them from doing something inappropriate!

The yard cleanup was grass and weeds chest high..these guys knocked it right out on time and did a great job.. it was a scary mess, I now have them setup on a schedule and I could not be happier., I wish them all the success they deserve..

My husband had hip replacement and I was looking for temporary lawn mowing. This business popped right up on Yelp and scooped me up. I signed up for service. They came and told my husband 60.00 was not enough, he was willing to pay extra, but the employee said that Jerry told him to forget it and left a strip of mowed grass on my front lawn. They do not speak on the phone in person and they send messages when they feel like it and continue to charge my credit card. The worst and I am now disputing charges weekly with my credit card company, which they are gladly refunding.

Grassbusters is a poorly run service. We hired them to provide mowing and weeding services of our lawn. To their credit, they did start work quickly after we booked. Unfortunately their team came by and only mowed half our lawn. They then informed us that the price we agreed on for mowing services was not enough to mow the entire lawn. At that time we agreed to pay an additional $100 for them to complete the mowing and some weeding services as well with the balance. The weeding services were never performed, and on their return visit for the regular mow, they went ahead and only mowed half the lawn again. They never completed the weeding services, and never refunded the money. We ended up paying ~$200 for them to come and mow our lawn one and a half times over the course of four weeks. They have no number to call, and are not responsive to emails. My requests for a refund or rescheduling or service were ignored outright. Instead they send weekly newsletters with a laundry list of excuses for failing to do work they accepted payment for at the agreed upon price and at the agreed upon time. From my perspective, they agreed to provide a service at a specific price, failed to do so, asked for more money, took the money and never did the work. They misrepresented themselves, stole money from me, and then ghosted me on all communications. Steer clear unless you like paying nonresponsive people for incomplete work.

They do a very meticulous job mowing and trimming. Would recommend all the way around. Their online booking for services is one of the main reasons I prefer working with them. Most other landscaping companies still require talking to someone who may or may not get back with you, and its nice to know they are consistent with their service days within reason. The weekly communications on weather delays and other happenings provide a whole different level of service that I have not seen at all out there, and I truly appreciate that. Grassbusters use of PayPal, online scheduling, etc. is also definitely lacking in the industry, so kudos to them for embracing modern technology. It made makes doing business with them very easy!

Well, so far so good. I signed up for service on Tuesday and the service day was supposed to be Wednesday. They didnt show up so I messaged them and asked if we were on the schedule. I was told that it usually took a few days for the route to be updated, which I was perfectly ok with. That made sense so I wasnt upset. Jerry also asked if the grass was in bad shape and needed to be taken care of urgently. I sent him a message back explaining that it had been 3 wks since the last time my lawn had been mowed because the company I had before flaked on me. Low and behold the crew showed up bright and early this morning (Friday). AWESOME!!! Thanks to Jerry and his crew for going out of the way to get things done. Thank You!

This is the first summer we have used Grassbusters for our yard care. Currently, I have them mowing four different lawns for us--family, ours, and commercial. I have been extremely pleased with this company. The quality of work is phenomenal. The other day, I caught the man mowing my lawn on our camera, and he was attending to the growth coming up through the cracks in my driveway. This was above and beyond. Anytime Ive had any kind of communication with them, they are quick to respond and resolve any issue. They send out weekly emails to let their customers know if there are delays or concerns that might affect their schedule. The communication is amazing. Thank you for doing an amazing job!

I have been a customer for 3 years and I love this company! I can tailor to my own needs by choosing only those services I require, and the prices can t be beat. They respond rapidly to any questions and have been very helpful. Also, the people who do the work have always friendly!

Grassbusters were very reliable and they never failed to get the job done at a very fair price. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is that we had a different person cutting our lawn each week. That was a pain because I had to catch each person and give them the same special instructions each week which I sometimes failed to do when I got busy. Overall though, I would go with this company again for my lawn maintenance.

Customer service is terrible. Communication is frequently very challenging - i waited a full week for a response but only received one 8 hours after reviewing the company on here (where someone chided me for not waiting longer, and never apologized for the days Id already waited). At the time i rated the company two stars, but their inappropriate response has left me to reconsider.

These guys are great. They do a good job, and they do it for a seriously cheap price. I have been using them for many years now, and will continue to employ them for my yard maintenance for as long as they will keep coming. They come every week (like clockwork) and do edging, mowing, trimming and even use a leaf blower to clean up when done. I don t use them all the time for mowing now (I have a 15yr old who has to earn his keep). They do my aeration and prep every year. When I do use them they show up and do exactly what I ask and always for a fair price. So happy for them and love the weekly emails about how they are doing. We have been using Grassbusters since they first started, years ago. You couldn t pay me to change lawn care companies! They always do a thorough and professional job (my yard looks hot, IMHO), they re ridiculously affordable, and they take special requests without fuss or any problem. Ive been using these folks for about 8 years, and have rarely ever had any issues at all! Do not believe any negative reviews on this great group. They are timely, so great service and clean up the mess before they leave. Also their rates are super affordable. Please trust that this is the best choice for lawn care needs. We own a landscaping design and install company but do not offer maintenance and I refer all of our customers to Grass Busters simply because they are the best!

Update: This is my 4th year with Grassbusters. They have continued to do a great job with my lawn and have kept their prices fair. When I do reach out to them, they get back to me within a day or two. They continue to provide a great service. I have been using Grassbusters for about a year now and I think they do a wonderful job for a fair price. They are quick to respond to any emails I have sent. I love that they offer seasonal services as well, like leaf and stick cleanup in the fall (just one example). The people that come out are always friendly and quick and cleanup the grass cuttings. Since I compost, I also like that they leave me the clippings so I can add to my compost. They have a done a great job helping me keep my lawn green, grassy, and healthy. I also really like that they do not use any kind of weed killer/poison, instead opting to seed the lawn so the grass growth crowds out the weeds. They are awesome!!

I have used this same family service for years now. I have a huge yard that they have agreed to mow for way less than anyone else would. They always pick up toys and tumbleweed out of the yard before they mow and even move our trampoline every time. They pick up all their clippings, evenly mowing the lawn to make it look smooth. None of the workers have ever drank, smoked, cussed or taken breaks. They are clean cut and work efficiently. They even have a dog poop pick up service. Completely worth my money!

Good team whos always willing to fix anything I may have had an issue with like a broken sprinkler head, which they repaired at no cost to me. Very professional, and hard working. I love to support small businesses, especially when they are so accommodating to my needs. My yard went into shock when my husband and I first moved in (we were new homeowners and cut it too short, too quickly) so after having Grassbusters do their fall and spring packages for aeration, overseeding, and fertilizer, it already has started to look so much better. Well be getting those packages each year and continuing to support this small business.

We started with Grassbusters several years ago for mowing during extended trips to visit family. They were one of the few services that would take on just a month of mowing. Last year we signed up for the full season. They do a great job, including edging walks, blowing patios clean, etc. I like the fact that they use residential size mowers, as they do not compact the soil the way the commercial mowers do. Good service and good value!

I have not used Grassbusters in 2020 but I used them several years in the past and was very happy with their services. I plan to have them mow my grass again in the future as the need arises. Any small problems with starting or stopping the services were easily and quickly resolved with a phone call or an email. Recommended.

I recommended them to my friend and neighbor down my street who has also used them a couple years with just a great of results. I set up weekly lawn care with Grassbusters during a time when I was not able to be at home and care for my own lawn regularly. Firstly, I love that I could set it all up online without having to call and leave messages and wait for a callback, only to find that I m outside the service area, or that the other company can t take on more work right now. I called several other lawn care companies who were not able to help me, or who didn t return my calls! Grassbusters made it so simple with their online setup through PayPal. Even though it was a very stressful period for me, I am a bit glad that my hand was forced in this way! For the cost that I paid, the service was exceptional. My sidewalks have never looked so good. Grassbusters saved me money, too, since I was able to avoid being fined by my HOA and by the city (this gives you an idea of just how badly overgrown the lawn had gotten!). I m back in my home now and have cancelled the service only because I can t have unnecessary expenses, and cancellation was easy Grassbusters s contact folks were very friendly and kind, and I felt no pressure in any way. I would highly recommend this company, and I will be using them later on this year when it s time for aeration and for other irregular/seasonal lawn services. Thanks Grassbusters!! You are the best!

We have used their services for about a month. Good pricing and personable staff. Had one week that had some issues but they addressed it right away. The schedule is by area of town, however sometimes we get it up to a day early. Someone is usually home & so far it hasn t been an issue, but if no one is at home and they come early they could have access issues since we keep our back gate locked.

I hired this service after I let my yard get totally out of control (covid what cant your ruin this year???) And I was totally shocked at how great a job they did. They exceeded my expectations for clean up. My years looks pristine and orderly... I think after seeing this I will hire them again for more cleanup and weed work seeing how great a job they did. They were easy to hire (pay online.. They came three days later around 4 or 5 pm. They let themselves into my backyard. Never had to talk to them or anything Bc I am a millennial who doesnt love talking to ANYONE so that was right up my alley) They sent an email telling me when they would be there. I was referred from a friend so I figured out the time they always came from him. Overall this was such a positive experience I canoe speak highly enough about this business. They saved my yard when I felt completely overwhelmed and hopeless about it all. They got more done in one day than I did all summer. Thank you, you have created a return customer for sure!

Only reason I m leaving a review is bc I don t think it s fair to other companies to let this business have an almost perfect 5 star online .... They NO SHOWED on 2 different appointments and didn t call to let me know I should make other arrangements. I had to send a threatening email to get a refund. Also, I don t believe in companies that collect payment before the job is done. I understand it s a busy time of year for lawn care, but it s also easy to just say we are booked up and can t take on the job.

Grassbusters has been a welcome relief to us. We switched from landscaping company who regularly trimmed the edges of the grass bare, even as we asked them to be more careful. Never happened with Grassbusters in our first year with them, and paid less for the season s services. Had one going the extra mile experience. They came to mow the morning after an extremely windy day. We had pine needles covering our lawn. I was sure they d reschedule the mowing until we could rake but they just bagged the needles with the lawn clippings. I also appreciate their a la carte service order/payment system. I select what services (mowing, aeration, fertilization, etc.) and select the week I want them completed. Pay through PayPal. Easy! Prices very reasonable. As this was my first season using them, I emailed often with questions and always received a prompt reply. Based on my first season with them, I highly recommend.

Cancelled service, and was changed three more times before refunds were processed. Refunds weren t processed until charges disputes were filed. Had to email three separate times and only after threatening to file disputes, and even then only got a we ll get back to you email .

Ive had the folks from Grassbusters working with me since my husband passed a year ago. They have always been hard working, communicative, thorough and absolutely the best value for the money I can imagine. And they do it all! Reseeding, fertilizer and stick clean up. They would even take care of the alley for me when asked. One of the best things is the versatility and the ability to work around whatever project is going on in the yard.

Grassbusters has taken care of my lawn in all seasons for several years. They are dependable and conscientious. They are very proactive in communicating with customers. Give them a try.

I decided to give Grassbusters a shot, and I am quickly finding out that its been a complete waste of my time. They bait and switched me into using the Yelp offer for 1 free lawn service, then they required me to make a payment just to book the appointment. I was told I would get this rebated back, and then the owner played dumb and acted like he wasnt aware of any offer on Yelp. As a business owner- thats your primary role and responsibility. They couldnt even give me a firm date on when they would show up- saying it could be a range of multiple days, which doesnt work for me as Id prefer to be there. I told them to forget it and give me a refund. Buyer beware on the Yelp offer! This company is not easy to do business with, Id avoid.

So basically I scheduled lawn service and paid for before hand and no one showed up are called.

I used grassbusters for more than a year. In the past they were great. This season, not so much. Their policy (not stated anywhere in print) is that you pay for skips because it takes longer to mow your grass the next time around. My lawn has been skipped more than they have been here this season. I had to mow it myself and pay a neighbor kid to mow to keep the HOA at bay because they skipped rather than trying to catch up. To top it off they have not responded to any of my emails. Side note - their skip policy is in direct contradiction to their e-mail of March 30 this year Please do not worry that you will be overcharged. We keep good records of all service and payments and you will never pay for a service you didnt receive. We can also issue refunds instantly when a situation arises. 100% BS...

If I could give this company a -5 stars I would! They take your money, forget to do your work and then send nasty emails in response when youve been patiently waiting for almost 2 weeks! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WEVE EVER DEALT WITH!

Worst service and customer service ever. They dont hire experienced workers, dont train them, and thus they will kill the first foot of your grass around the edges with a weed eater. They charge you for skips due to weather,doesnt say that anywhere when you sign up. They left lawn clippings everywhere. The employees dont even have a way to contact the boss except through email. Worst experience ever.

I had a huge problem with another company I was using to cut my grass. They had ride mowers and would cut my grass even when it was soaked from rain and cause major issues and bald spots and said it s not their fault. I argued with them to no avail and ended up firing them and then I reached out to Grassbusters because I saw them mowing my father in law s, neighbor s house and figured I would give them a try. They were friendly and responsive. I will say I thought it was weird all communication was via email lol, but they ve done a great job every week since. The first time they came one of the guys accidentally cut the cap to my external clean out in my yard, within the same day he came back and put a brand new cap on. I think that s great customer service. We are all human and make mistakes, it s what you do to correct those mistakes that makes a good or bad company. These guys have done good by me!

AVOID! Extremely unprofessional! They get you to sign up by allowing you to choose a price that you think is fair. I chose an amount based on quotes I had received from other companies, so I thought it was fair. Two weeks in, they decided to raise their prices 20%. The quality of the work didnt warrant the price increase, but I continued with the service. The first mow, they only did the front yard because they claimed they couldnt get in the back yard (I dont have a lock on my gate and I gave instructions on how to get in that apparently werent followed). They did come back and complete the job that time. The second mow I was home and told the gentleman what needed to be mowed (he did a good and complete job). The third mow, the gentleman knocked on my door and woke me because he couldnt figure out how to get into the back yard (again the gate is easy to see and get into). He missed parts of my yard, but I chose not to contact the company in hopes that the missed parts would be taken care of with the next mow (yet they were not). The last mow was the worst. They mowed part of my yard and then when I emailed regarding the missed parts, they told me I needed to change to a weekly mow and pay more because the allotted time for my price range didnt cover the amount of time it takes to complete my lawn.They would not come back out and complete the mow as they stated in their email to me We have already worked past you for the week and will not be able to return before we service that area again. I expected to have a professional company come and mow ALL of my lawn. If a company has a business model that allows companies to choose their own price, they should honor that and still do a complete and good job on the mow. If I had known that they would only mow part for the price that I chose, I definitely would have chosen a different company and not wasted my time with this one. I suggest anyone AVOID USING GRASSBUSTERS. **Now they are sending out emails begging for people to post good reviews for them when the quality of service and customer service doesnt deserve a good review. Do good work and actually care about your customers, then maybe ratings will improve without you having to beg for good reviews.***

This lawn service has been great! They do a super job and communicate really well with customers. I am new, and it has been a strange spring and summer so far, but they have kept up with my lawn in a timely manner and let me know what to expect around strange weather events, etc.

In one of the toughest grass cutting springs ever, they provided service immediately when our grass cutter of the last several years quit the business without even a weeks notice. They gentleman who did my yard was thorough, friendly (even though he had raging allergies going), and was helpful in ideas for things to do in the future to make our yard even better. Ive been blessed to have this service for the past two years. They have always done a great job and been very communicative whenever there are ever any changes (mostly weather related). They are timely and extremely affordable and they put up with all my animals.

I used them in a pinch when I had recently moved into my new place and I wasnt used to having to take care of a yard, so it was getting quite long. The online scheduling was awesome and they showed up and did a much better job than the company I had previously tried to use!

A few years ago I mowed my own lawn. One day my mower broke down and while I was out riding my bike one day I came across a Grassbuster crew working in our neighborhood. I asked if they could help me out and they graciously gave me the companies email address and they were able to mow my lawn the very same day. They did such an outstanding job they are taking care of my lawn two years later. I love the choice of services and the updating newsletters. When Grandpa Jerry passed away they even took the time to inform us of schedule changes. You cant find a better service for the prices that they charge. Keep up the great work guys!

What I love about this family owned business is that they use regular mowers rather than the big Riding mowers. We are always pleased With how our lawn looks. The guys that have done our lawn always edge the lawn and use a blower to clean up afterwards. We ve never had broken sprinklers etc.

I ve used this lawn service since last year. The first time I scheduled a service, they didn t come out on the day I expected because of my failure to read properly. I complained and even though the error was on my part, they sent a crew to mow my lawn the same day. My lawn is mowed each week and looks great every time!!

Love these guys. Rarely do I post reviews but they are awesome. They come when they are suppose to, do a great job when they are there and love the automatic payment system that they use. I also used them for leaf cleanups and pre/post winter maintenance. I would highly recommend these guys.

Very happy with all services we have had. Mowing, trimming shrubs, fertilizer and weed control applications. Every person they have sent out has been friendly, professional, and hardworking. Emails are answered timely. We upgraded from on demand to biweekly service this year because of the good service.

We have been clients of Grassbusters for over a year. In that year we have had our lawn mowed, gutters cleaned, aeration, whole yard clean-up, shrubs trimmed and plugs. They are great with communicating their schedule via online. I love that they don t do contracts. They are courteous and will offer advice if asked. As the customer it helps them to keep prices low if we do our part: move sport nets out of the way, pick up dog poo, slide lawn chairs over so they can focus on our yards. Weather sometimes affects their services but they always keep the communication coming. Our lawn has greatly improved with their plugs and aeration packages- no longer the dried out shame of the cul de sac!

I appreciate these guys, as they are hard-working recently-graduated students who make it easy. They appeal to the millennial crowd because you sign up online and magically your lawn is perfect! I have been using Grassbusters for a few years and I feel I need to give them a shout out for their great service. The thing that really impresses me is that when there is any problem whatsoever, I email them and it is addressed right away (I have rental properties, plus use them for my own home, so every now and then there is a glitch). For instance, a couple weeks ago there was a new employee mowing my lawn and he inadvertently mowed my neighbors lawn. As soon as I noticed my lawn had not been mowed, I contacted them, they figured out what happened, and they came right out to mow for me (and my elderly neighbor was happy to receive a free mowing!). They also are extremely good at communicating with their clients if there will be any issues that week (in case of storms, etc.). But no matter the issue, they ALWAYS get the job done within a day or so.

Ive been using Grassbusters for about a year now. Last year they filled in for me when I couldnt do my own mowing, this year I switched to the bi-weekly service. They do a great job and have never missed, even when I scheduled service at the last minute.

Update: Im in my second year using Grassbusters and this year I actually had an issue once with one of my services. Everybody makes a mistake or hires a bad apple sometimes - what I love about Grassbusters is they are so easy to communicate with and they came out the next day and performed the service over again just to make things right. This commitment to their customers is something thats so hard to find in this industry.

I ordered lawn mowing online because I was in a bind. I didnt know exactly what to expect, but what I got was well beyond what I thought I was going to get. We paid $125 for a mow and cleanup. One individual spent 90 min using a trimmer to mow our lawn and then cleaned nothing up. After several unprofessional emails from grassbusters, they are now interested in refunding me if I remove my negative review. Seems worth it to me so that folks understand the quality of their service. Here is the last email I received: The part that stood out to me about your email is making you a satisfied customer. I dont think that is possible. So I thought over your email for a bit and decided not to respond, well not in the way you suggest. You know in life sometimes people dont see eye to eye. We clearly are not a fit for you and vice versa. We could rehash this over a few times but in the end no views are probably going to change. Its ok, no hard feelings, at least on my part. If you are the type of person to place bad reviews in order to lash out and hurt people than its your prerogative. I made you an offer. If you want to remove the bad review I will refund your money. Really great care! Ive had them take care of my lawn last summer and this one as well. I had a small change in how I wanted things done at my house and they were super attentive to my wishes.
