The only time they don t meet their schedule is when the weather is so bad they can t effectively do their work. They always catch up as soon as feasible. I was originally displeased with the liquid application my last service. Erbert quickly sent out a manager to explain the procedure and gave me some insight for the best way to approach the application. This is my 2nd year using Erbert Lawns & I was not expecting good results because the lawn suffered from a lot of vole damage and winter-kill like symptoms. I asked my technician, Willy, if he thought the grass would recover and he assured me it would. Now the lawn indeed looks great, and I am very pleased with the service. I have had nothing but great service from Christian from Erbert Lawns. I always get a text a day prior to service and then once he arrives and leave. I had this service at our house and when we moved, it was an easy transition to get set up at the new house. I wrote a really poor review of Erbert Lawns earlier today. The company contacted me and were very concerned that I was dissatisfied with their pricing and service. They made a very nice offer to keep my business for the remainder of the 2024 season. I agreed to do so. I believe the person who called me was sincere and gave a very convincing argument for why liquid aeration is more expensive than the old style plugs.

Glad to support a local company. All my interactions have been pleasant so far with Ebert. This will be our second year using the service. The grass looks great. What you are paying for here is time, you dont need to aerate, fertilize, weed control, or go to the store to get these products, they show up monthly and do it for you. I figure Id easily spend at least half of what I pay for the service in materials so it is worth it in my opinion. One thing I do wish for is to get more of a customized service. Maybe someone to come and look at my lawn and tell me what I need rather than a cookie cutter service, but overall good value and satisfied. Edit* - I ve since cancelled my service as of 2024. Although I still think the product is good. I could no longer justify the pricing. It is just way too much of a charge for what is being done.

Their mailer they sent out around Free Spring Liquid Aeration is actually a scam. Its not only not free but they make you sign up for a full season subscription and if you cancel they charge you for all the free services...... They are trying to boost subscription revenue with false promises. This speaks volumes on how they conduct business

BUYER BEWARE!!! After using another company for years, I decided to give Herbert lawns a try. What a mistake that was. My lawn has never looked worse in 15 years. While I understand things happen, the company told me they d send a service manager to take a look at my lawn to see what we need to do to correct it, but never did. Instead, they wanted to just continuously perform the services contracted which would ve been a complete waste of money. When I called their office because they once again scheduled a service appointment. The lady that answered the phone was incredibly rude. Instead of connecting me with a manager to make the situation right they would just prefer to cancel the account and move on. That tells me they re only interested in the money as long as it s easy money for them.

Today same thing, however I went out and asked him to do the backyard, he did only in the middle of the yard and not the the edges where the weed grows . I offered to send what my security cameras showed, did not even let me talk, talked over me explaining the situation. Prior to using Erbert Lawns I used another company. The other company mis diagnosed my lawn issues many times. I finally got tired of my lawn looking awful. So happy that I switched to Erbert. The same gentleman has been servicing my lawn the last few times. He gave me feedback on sharpening the mower blade ASAP, told me why my lawn was brown in spots and offered a fall solution that he can apply. I love the fact that they text you the day before they are going to service your lawn. This is convenient. They also text you when they have arrived, in case you have a dog that needs to be inside while they spray. Great company and great prices too! I definitely recommend.

Lawn fertilizer/weed control and weed control in rock border/cracks in sidewalk/street curb/along house foundation (missed weeds last time). Complete spraying coverage of rock borders and along fences is expected - not just spot treatment of existing growth when water flow is in rock borders/fences (explosion of growth occurs at the drop of a hat). I hand pick weeds that accumulate so HOA doesn t issue warning or fine letters.

I used lawn doctor last summer and they totally sucked in fact i cancelled the for unexplained charges for services i never requested! I think I got a flyer in the mail for Erbert lawns, decided to give them a chance. I really dont think I could be happier, with the summer heat and water restrictions everything is still maintaining a nice even green weeds are gone I had a few pop up they came back no extra charge to take care of. Im very happy! Hope the continue with the same performance. I plan to use them next year.

I do not trust your company. Please leave us alone. Update 6/17 I get a voicemail now - what part of do not contact and I am not interested in your shady business do you not understand? I promise, I am not playing hard to get - I will not change my mind and suddenly think thank goodness you reached out...... Leave me alone. Update 5/5 Guess who sent me something else. Seriously what is wrong with you. Not to mention the door knocker when we say no soliciting. You cannot seriously he blaming the third party company you use again. As their representatives of your bad business company, you are obligated to make sure they comply. Update 11/26 If it was not so unethical, it would almost be comical. I put them on notice for no further contact on 10/15. Guess what I got today - an e-mail directly to me (not generic). I dont know how they are in business still. Its clear from the other reviews that they do not follow compliance guidelines (which can result in fines) even if they use a third party provider, they are still expected to follow DNC/No soliciting signs. It is an even larger compliance issue to continue to contact in any form, (mail, e-mail, phone calls) after being put on notice. This company does not use ethics or morals with their businesses. Beware. UPDATE: : I received the following e-mail from Kyla S.: We have already refunded half of the service to your card you provided for us. I will take off your name and phone number and email from this account. Additional mail might come but that is due to marketing but it will no longer have your name on it. Thank you. That is the entire message - no explanation for what happened, no apology. Honestly a service company shows their true colors when they are trying to solve a problem and if this is them at their best... that is so sad. Although its interesting in the reply here they did apologize. We used Ebert Lawns a year ago for aeration and it was fine but didnt do much for the lawn. Fast forward to this year when I got a notice that our payment declined. Turns out they saved our credit card (which had since expired), aerated again and claimed that we had been notified. They send a lot of junk mail so honestly I am sure I shredded the notice, my bad. I asked to see the contract for reoccurring service, as I was not aware of one, and they said there was not one. They explained that they set folks up for reoccurring services (why they do this is probably something they should evaluate, but not really the issue). I confirmed with my husband that they had in fact came out and performed the service, cancelled the one we had set up with our lawn team, who we do have services with and after several e-mails found out that this is just how they work. They also claimed they called but interestingly enough, I have no calls or messages so perhaps they got the wrong number or, they didn t actually call (which is what I suspect). Alright so despite the issues, they did a service and deserved to get something but due to their clear lack of solid business practices, they offered to split the $200 bill. Great, I provide them my card, again. They charged me full price. I didn t ask for a discount, they offered. I didn t set up the services, they just showed up. I didn t get notification (again, I may have tossed it thinking it was junk). Top it off, they ruined our ghosts we had out for Halloween. Their services may be fine but their business practices are unprofessional and unethical. Be careful before doing business with them.

Not happy with them right now. We used their service one year, several years ago, and they dont leave you alone from then on. Signed up for liquid aeration last year. That seemed to increase the level of contact always trying to sell more. So much so that I tune out the noise. Yesterday they showed up spraying something on our lawn. When we contacted them about what, and if they had the wrong address, the response was that its an auto-renewing service. They even followed up with a long list of attempted contacts. Imagine that, the long list of attempted contacts is exactly what Ive come to tune out, because it never stops. Lesson learned, guess I never should have reached out to do additional business with them.

I called Erbert Lawns on April 30th as a first time customer to have my lawn aerated. They told me I needed to sign up for a scheduled plan because they dont do a one time service. I signed up for the Fertilization and Weed Control plan for every 5 weeks at a cost of $67 which would include the liquid aeration (which is what I originally wanted). As of today May 12th, they managed to charge me the $67 because they were able to come out and spend 10 minutes putting down the weed control/fertilization for the yard but they cant tell me when they will complete the aeration. And I still have weeds! I called twice about the aeration now and I just keep getting the run around that they have no idea when we will receive the aeration as theyre busy but itll be sometime soon. It was supposed to be completed by today and when I called today they told me they dont know when but soon. As a first time customer, they could have easily earned my business if they were honest and told me upfront what the schedule for aeration was instead of taking $67 for 10 minutes of service. Truly disappointed. Dont become a victim of their scam!

Erbert lawns uses rude employees to place their marketing trash on our front door. They ignore the no soliciting signs and the covenant protection laws and when it was brought to his attention he became verbally resistant and continued to spread trash in spite. This is not a company that should be supported as they have no consideration for rules or respect. 1 star for them.

I have always been satisfied by the services provided by Erbert Lawns. They are punctual, respectful of property and always do the job right. 2 thumbs up if you need lawn services.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! I signed up for services with ERBERT LAWNS and it has been nothing but a constant headache with them! I signed up and was expecting 2 free services as advertised (see image). After the first visit, they only sprayed the aeration solution. When asked about fertilizer and weeding, I was told, someone else does that. OK, no problem. Then they came to fertilize and the guy wouldnt even speak to me and I doubt he even treated my yard. Ok, no problem I thought. Ill contact their office. I was told they have different teams that handle different services because theyre used to doing all the Denver mansions. When I asked about spraying the weeds in rocks and mulch I was told next time... its too early in the season. Then, having given them my credit card to charge after each service, they charged me for all services for an entire year! I was able to get them to refund the unused portion vs giving me a credit. Today, for the second scheduled treatment, they notified me via text that they were at my house. I walked outside and saw nobody but they stuck a sign on my lawn so *maybe* they sprayed? Again, I contacted customer service who promptly told me the weeds in mulch/rock is a different service and NOT part of the 2 free services for 2021 that they offered. Typical bait & switch!! Needless to say, Ive canceled their services and am adamant that anyone using them beware!! Ill inform my neighbors as well because it seems like they should stick to Denver mansions. Note: they only conduct business via text and dont have the courtesy or professionalism to call and discuss! Avoid!

4th Year Review - I stopped using Erbert this year. After 4 years of being lied to about what is actually being put on my lawn, enough is enough. They claim to spray and drop pellets but only drop pellets. I have had to prove this to the office using my CCTV footage and they still dont do it right. Unfortunately, each year they add about $5 per month as well. Without telling you. They just bill you. This has created problems in the past and they still do it. SO good luck to you John Erbert. Cant say i didint give you guys so many warnings, so many emails to try to work things out. I see less and less of your tucks in my neighborhood and i know exactly why. Next time, dont make promises you cant keep like taking care of peoples rocks and then turning around and saying its an additional charge. I might as well do it all if im going to have to do half of it. 3 Year Review - My new technician is great! I really hope they keep Daniel on my service calls and I dont belive I will have any issues moving forward. Daniel took the time to walk my yard with me. This is a first in 3 years. Daniel is respectful, helpful and truly knows grass. He is working on improving my lawn density and had some great pointers on watering. This is what i thought i was buying the last two years. So, for now Im giving them back the extra 2 stars. That is the type of service i received yesterday. I hope it continues. 2 year review (old review): I was at one time very happy. Now, I have come to expect sub par service and a technician who can do my whole yard in less than 8 minutes. Way too fast. Each time I have sent a request for service, they send a tech and charge me for the next inline scheduled service but mark it as a service request as well. Which is not honest. Erbert shows up when they want to show up. Usually on time, but sometimes not so much. My grass likes them. That is the only reason Im staying with them. Instead of spraying out maybe an extra half gallon of weed and feed over the edge of my rocks. I have video from my CCTV system that shows the tech purposely stopping within a foot of the rocks so that weeds come up in the rocks around my yard. They want an extra $300-400 a year to do the rocks too. Which is way too much when your already paying several hundred dollars. Oh and that part where they say a professional expert will come out and tell you about your grass and plan. Ive asked for over a year when he is going to show up. And no one has ever shown up. Again, the product works or I wouldnt stay. They have not earned my business. I am giving it to them.

Service was ok - Disappointed same price regardless of size of lawn (front lawn is xeroscape so I basically paid double price). The worst part is the INCESSANT contact via text, email, phone calls. Way too much and pushed me to unsubscribe/block. I will not consider them in the future.

EDIT: Erbert Lawn Care did come out and aerate/overseed, so all is now good, though I was lucky on weather, with it not having yet snowed. --------------------------------------------------------- I wanted to use Erbert Lawn Care, so I inquired about liquid aeration & overseeing. I received a quote, thought about it, decided okay, I like the tech, so I created an account, gave a credit card, and waited. This was Sept. 21. I inquired about when they were coming out and was told they do this during autumn, and were doing it then. Sept. 30, I emailed, again, asking, when are you coming out? The answer was they were doing them, and that I was in the queue. Today, Nov. 11, I called and was told, we didnt have a confirmation, and its now too late. I send the 9 message email chain, asking what wasnt done by me. Turns out, I did everything as I should have, yet the answer was, whoops, sorry. Awesome customer service. Keep it up!

This company has placed unwanted door hangers on my door despite no soliciting signs. In heading over to the next house their staff also walked on my plants and grass instead of using the driveway/sidewalk. I will intentionally not use this company for any landscaping needs.

Last spring we did not have a yard. Our front and back were dusty brown swatches with little areas of green....for accent. Enter Patrick from Erbert . He agonized, analyzed and attacked the problem This spring we have a new, verdant lawn. We call it Patricks Patch.He is in charge.

They used to do a normal core aeration. They switched to doing only liquid and swear by it. My lawn is so hard a dense that I m going to have to find a new company for cored aeration because my lawn feels like I m walking on rocks. Used to provide a quality product and most likely found they could save money by just spraying your lawn with a solution instead of using machines to do the coring. .

Would you trust your lawn to a company that does not respect your privacy? A company that cant read a sign 6 inches away from their eyes. Yes, I know this could be a company they hired to go door to door. But if they cant train them to read signs then a reasonably safe bet is they cant train the people they hire to work on your lawn. The lawn your pet or your kids play on. UPDATE: It has happened again.

Maybe start with not putting solicitation signs on a door that has 2 no soliciting signs on it.

We have dogs and signed up to be notified a day ahead of services to make sure our dogs are inside. The company sends a text message the day before they are going to provide services which is very helpful.

Since our normal all-in-one lawn company went out of business after COVID hit, we were forced to separate our mowing and other lawn care services to different companies. We chose Erbert at the recommendation of our mowing service. So far theyve been here twice to spray for weeds and fertilize the lawn, and our lawn has never looked better! We usually have a ton of Aspen suckers and dandelions on the lawn this time of year, and weeds popping up in our planters and driveway cracks, but since Erbert has come through, I havent seen a single one! We get reminder texts and emails 48 hours before our appointments, and theyre always on time and efficient when theyre here. Its still early, but I think its safe to say we trust Erbert to keep our lawn looking healthy.

This is my first year using Erbert Lawn services and Im very happy with how beautiful my lawn looks. In the past, Ive done my own lawn upkeep, but over the years it looked less and less healthy and dandelions and broad grass were slowly taking over. So I called Erbert Lawns and tomorrow will be my 3rd application. After just the first application this spring (fertlizer, liquid aeration and something to kill the dandelions and broad grass) it looked about 80% better. Now I have the nicest, healthiest looking lawn on the block and weeds are gone! Erbert Lawns are always on time and email me a reminder the day before. I highly recommend this company.

I ve had a couple lawn services for weed and general lawn health control and Erbert has been the best by far. They re fairly priced and provide fast and friendly service. When speaking with their lawn tech (David) you could tell this is someone who loves what they do and it shows through their work. If you need lawn maintenance I highly recommend this company.

My yard has not improved at all the first year I utilized your service. To give you a back drop, I only hired you because my time is limited. My yard with more watering following your directions (higher bill) and paying for your service came out worse. I was convinced to stay with a smaller rate. I gave another opportunity to you all which again Im extremely disappointed in. When you have multiple neighbors notice mention, that your yard isnt near what it used to be... I think that sums it up. I believe in giving chances thats why Im still your customer. You would think when you pay so much for aeration etc. that youd receive a quality product. Erbert Lawns has not been the case. Im always told it will be better but never is. To say the least Im disappointed. Sadly, many people come up to me and ask what company I was using prior to you all. I have to be honest and say it was just me using water and traditional fertilizer.

These people came into a neighborhood that clearly states no soliciting and no handbills. They hung their handbill right next to a sign saying no soliciting no handbills. The man also opened my screen door after hanging the advertisement. Maybe checking for an open door? I don t know it was off camera but I sure am glad my doors were locked, security system armed, and dog at the ready.

I used this company YEARS ago and cancelled due to lawn looking horrible (constant weed and dead grass problems). To this day, I am STILL getting robocalls from them. I contacted them time and time again to tell them to stop calling me . I have reported them repeatedly to the FTC/do not call registry. Just today, I got another one. I blocked their number several years ago, but now they are being really shady by listing their number as Private. Do not use this company.

This is the third time Erbert Lawns has left a flyer on my door. There is a very clear no soliciting hanging three inches above where they leave their flyers. There s also a very visible No Trespassing sign in the yard - next time I will be enforcing that sign with APD.

You should consider evaluating the soil hardness and lack of water we have had this year before setting a date. My yard is hard as a rock and I didnt get hardly any plugs when aerating. It is also too early and cold, to turn lawn water on. I hope it somehow turns out okay.

I have been extremely disappointed with this lawn service..my yard looks terrible after 2 yrs of their services..I have called several times and spoken to Mike about issues. He does not follow thru with what he tells you, he is nothing but lip service. This last eval the guy (Patrick) said oh you have rabbits..noticing some old pellet droppings on my lawn..No it is not the rabbits fault. I would NOT recommend this lawn service!

Great Service -- I appreciate the advance notice by email or phone, the opportunity to change the schedule to what works for us, and our lawn looked great all season. Yards on both side were full of dandelions, but ours looked like a putting green! We have pet turf in the back yard, so not as much need for weed control there, but your team did a great job with the borders and even sprayed the turf to get any weeds growing underneath. Will definitely use this service next summer

I use Erbert Lawns for aeration, and they do the best job of anyone Ive used so far. They are thorough, go around the sprinklers but close enough to still get enough aeration done, and the plugs are deep given I water it before. My lawn is very hilly and they do a great job tackling a difficult test. I recommend.
