We had a wonderful experience working with Centerville Lawn & Landscape. We gave them a huge project - taking out lots of bushes, plants and weeds and replanting our front yard. Bruce, the designer came up with a beautiful plan. Dave, the owner was great to work with and their landscapers worked incredibly hard. We are so pleased with the result. All the neighbors give a big thumbs up as well.
We recently finished a comprehensive property improvement that culminated in an excavation of our front yard and driveway. Delay by one contractor rippled through to several others. The final step was to grade and seed the front lawn. On very short notice, Dave and his crew worked us into their schedule to complete the work in time and allow the grass to get established before the first hard frost. He came in under the high estimate and we have a healthy, green front lawn. Customer service is a priority with this man and his team. You can't go wrong hiring Centerville Lawn Service.
Good experience from our initial inquiry, plan development, and project completion. We were listened to and assisted in determining the best planting options for the area to be landscaped. The sketch provided helped facilitate approval from our HOA board. The workers doing the job onsite we courteous and diligent. We would use Centerville Landscaping again should the need arise.
David and his team were quite professional and very helpful with design. David is very knowledgable and patient in discussing options. Great communication during the project. I would highly recommend this team.
I had to remove 9 large mature trees which changed my lawn from deep shade to full sun. I called numerous landscaping firms to help establish a new lawn on five terraced areas. Only Centerville was responsive in describing what needed to be done and why they recommended said procedures . They showed up on time, were very courteous, worked professionally, and left the lawn in a clean manner. One year later I am seeing the benefit of their labor with a new professional lawn. Centerville is now a trusted annual service contractor.
We had Centerville remove a hedge row of old boxwood bushes and some overgrown yew bushes on the sides of our house. They were easy to work with and professional. The workmanship was great as was their attention to details regarding underground cables. Their clean up of the debris was excellent. Their pricing was very reasonable as we had priced out several other companies. Would highly recommend their services and would us again should a need arise.

Our yard needed a landscape refresh - I needed a number of unruly bushes removed, others trimmed, and several areas mulched. Because I was removing so many bushes, we had the areas covered with new soil and seed in the front and the smaller areas around the pool with decorative rocks. The folks that came out to discuss the work had great design ideas and after listening to what we were trying to do and made great suggestions. We came up with a wonderful plan, which the staff at Centerville executed flawlessly - beyond my expectations. The staff were very friendly and professional, did the work promptly, and accommodated some additions we made to the project as we saw the initial work. Everything exceeded our expectations. I will definitely use this firm again for all my landscaping work, large or small. Pricing was very reasonable - well within my budget. I wish I had taken a "before" picture so you could see what a mess this front was - how bad the bushes had gotten.

Centerville had some expected delays due to the weather but came out promptly when I needed the work done, and they did a good job.
I tried to get these guys to do some yard work for me in June or July of this year. They told me Id have to wait til September cause theyre in their busy season. I call them at end of August and agree on one of the options they gave me. On second thought, I asked them to do the other option. Its been weeks and they wont get back to me. Apparently they cant or wont do what the customer wants, only what they want.

In person evaluation of lawn with helpful advice, including fact that wild violets are difficult. Treatment killed broadleaf weeds from the summer. Person doing application gave courteous follow up call. Now strategizing to address wild violets and get a good start in spring.

My lawn looks the best it has in years. It took a little while to get to this point but I m happy with the results. The only reasons I gave it a 4 out of 5 is bc I think they are a little expensive. I guess you get what you pay for though. Also I have one area that s pretty shaded that I guess will need some TLC ( seeding). I spoke to our lawn guy & he was very helpful with suggestions that we could do or they could do. All in all it s been a good experience

Biggest issue with them is they do not follow up on issues. You mention them and they do nothing! Plus my lawn looks terrible. Now I have to mention that our rainfall has been bad and thats not their fault. But my neighbors have the same problem yet in spite of that their lawns look great..they have a different lawn service.
Centerville Lawn and Landscape have taken care of my lawn and property for almost ten years now and continue to do a great job. Sure weather is a constant and unpredictable challenge; its been too wet or too dry; weve had spring snows that stuck around to long and more. Still, through it all Dave Deckard and his team at Centerville have risen to the challenges and worked to mitigate the problems mother nature has wrought, promptly. Im delighted with their service and responsiveness and trust Centerville to keep my lawn and landscape looking the best it can come rain or shine.
