Big D's Landscape and Maintenance in Lindon

Is there a way to share a negative start review!? That’s what this jerk needs! He not a A kind law abiding citizen! He parked in a red zone as I was pulling In to my parents home . I kindly informed him his was in a red zone and asked if he could back up some so I could see to leave as I was only coming to pick something up and then leaving again . He proceeded to get hostile . I offered 2 choices he could back up so I could see or I could call an officer out and potentially get hit trying to leave, he chose the later. I would not hire someone who treated myself the way I was treated let alone who would treat my neighbors this way!

Well I just found my lawn care company for life! Dallas just came out on a Saturday to replace my sprinkler controller and has me dialed in and ready to go! I could not have been more impressed. Personable, quick, professional. I’m so glad I found him!

I contacted Big D’s to completely redo our landscaping. He informed me he charged $60 to do plans but if we went with him, he would apply the $60 towards our landscaping costs. He came out on April 9th and said he’d have our plans by the following weekend. As agreed, I paid the $60. Dallas, the owner, never gave me our plans. To make matters worse, I’ve text and called him several times & he never responded. I could care less if he’s too busy to take on another job, but for heaven’s sakes, let me know & give me back my $60! Update** the day I wrote my review. I received an incomplete estimate… still no plan. He forgot to include the sod that was going to be redone & the rocks that we’re going to be put down in all of the flower beds & said we only needed 27 “assorted” plants that would require 20 hours of labor🤔 (keep in mind we live on a 1/2 acre) I was told they would give “some” of my $60 back if I took down my review. Are you kidding? People need to know… He is the most unprofessional & unethical landscaper I’ve ever met. If I save 1 person, that was the best $60 spent. In response to Dallas Anton’s reply to my review: you clearly don’t get it. This is the 1st response from you that I’ve had since I met you. All other interactions came from your wife (I’m assuming) on the 1st day I wrote this review. You never offered to correct the estimate & you did tell me the $60 was for a plan which I’ve never received. I have never been charged by a contractor for an estimate let alone have them give me an incomplete estimate. TBH I don’t usually write reviews. But what you did was unethical let alone unprofessional. On a side note: It’s a good thing you gave yourself a 5 star rating or your rating would be lower than what it is.

Just here to make a suggestion to the company. Remove the decals from the Volkswagen atlas they almost massacred my family to make a free way exit and I can only imagine the other great moments of driving and the affect on the image of the company. The pictures of your guys work looks great though, good job!

Best landscaping in Utah. Dallas is an honest man who runs this family owned business.

Have been a customer of Big D's for over two years now. Dallas and his crew landscaped our lot and installed a superlative sprinkler system. Big D's also has provided annual sprinkler maintenance for reasonable rates. Plus, they are a family owned business; and that means a lot to those of us who value quality service, caring attention, and patience for all of our 'dumb' questions. I'd recommend them to anyone.
