I am chair of the HoA for our neighborhood. We hired Yardworx last fall and have not been disappointed. Josh, Kyle and crew have greatly improved the look of our lawns. In the winter, our driveways were cleaned of snow in a timely manner with great care of preserving the landscape. As for spring, summer and fall, the crew of friendly caring workers, kept our grass neatly mowed and fertilized. The few hiccups in the beginning were very curtiously remedied. Fall leaf clean up has begun and we could not be more pleased of our choice in hiring Yardworx.

Absolutely terrible at communication! Owner wanted to yell and say it s all our fault because their email didn t make it to us. All we were wanting was to postpone to a later date, but we will never use or suggest them after the owner hung up on us during that conversation. The worst customer service I ve ever experienced in lawn care. Avoid these guys at all cost. Also, you don t talk to someone local when you call in, always a call center or some sort of outsourced service center. We will look for someone more local next time.

Second time review here. It would appear that they also pay attention to the weather forecast and dont try to schedule service on days where its 80% chance of rain. Our broadleaf application got done yesterday and I could see it already working yesterday evening. Once I get the yard mowed in a day or two Ill post photos.

We love having Yardworx service our yard. Matt and Tyler are consistent, kind and approachable.

Yardworx has done an excellent job mowing and trimming our yard on a weekly basis. I am amazed, as are my neighbors, at how quickly and efficiently they get the job done for a reasonable price. And they do it really well. On top of that, there are little touches that really add to what they do. I have a labrador retriever who sneaks toys outside. The mowers very carefully pick these up and put them out of harms way. In addition, I lost my spouse a few years ago which cut down on my role of taking care of the yard. They stepped up to do things like pick us stray sticks and trim a broken branch on my lilac tree. For no charge. In short, I would highly recommend this service to anyone. Update 10/29/21 Yardworx is still doing a great job for me. Today is an excellent example. I have an exposed cable running through my yard. It is a few feet away from a fence. The mowers took there time and carefully mowed round the cable. I was planning on having a tall yard on that side for a few weeks. Instead, I have an evenly mowed lawn instead. Update 9/23/22 Yardworx continues to do a great job. They come at approximately the same time each week, which is very helpful when one has a fenced in yard and dogs. They have continued to do a great job. I did have a couple of minor concerns, and they addressed them immediately. I couldnt hope for a better service. Update 7/17/23 I am really pleased by this service. They work efficiently, come when planned, and always make sure the gates are closed when they leave. They also are willing to cancel a week or more of service when it is not needed. I am really pleased with their work and recommend them wholeheartedly. Update 6/6/2024 I can t be happier with the service Yardworx provides. They mow the yard quickly and efficiently. The trimming is done thoroughly and with care. They also edge the sidewalks and driveway. In addition, they blow any excess grass clippings off the sidewalk, porch, and driveway. Finally, they are very careful to close all gates before they go. I have used this service for years and expect to continue for the same.

I m giving them 5 stars because less than a half hour after my lawn was not cut up to my expectations, another more seasoned crew came by and made it right. I understand completely what it s like training new employees and then letting them go off and pray that they actually learned something from training. The crew member that came to my door, apologies for not remembering his name- he told me they were a few members down and some were running equipment that they were quickly trained on due to the lack of numbers. He asked if what they had done thus far was more to my liking and I was honest and said yes they were in the right direction. They finished up and it was much better! Thank you for coming back and holding high standards for yourselves and your work. That means everything!

Yardworx helped get rid of Creeping Charlie that has been in our yard for years. After treating it last Fall, Brent was out for a follow-up last week to spray the few remaining weeds. He was great to work with - very friendly, explained the process and what theyre doing to ensure the weeds dont come back. Its the best our yard has looked in a long time. Their fertilizer and weed prevention treatments are very good because my lawn looks better than some others that also use a lawn service. Yardworx also started a portal for auto-pay which makes it really easy on my end. I am very satisfied with this lawn service.

This is our first year ever doing a lawn service and Yardworx has been great to work with! They always email the day before they come service the lawn so we know when to expect them and and what instructions there are and also always leave a little flag in the yard stating they came. They also have been great to send out emails with lawn tips and tricks which has been helpful, and will also always answer personal questions we have via email. Our lawn is looking better than last year, and we hope it will continue to improve next year as we utilize their services again.

We decided to give Yardworx a try because they had good ratings. They only came out two times before we cancelled service with them. We were very clear that we didnt want them to fertilize the back yard, but they did both times. One time is understandable, but twice is a bad sign that they dont have good communication within their company.

Yardworx is professional, on time, let you know when to expect them and when they have completed their work. That makes a huge difference, making them stand above other lawn companies. Dependability.

I used the quote feature on the website to set up aeration, over seeding and fertilizer for my back yard. There was a bit of miscommunication between the office and the crew member doing the work, but it was worked out in the end. In fact the crew member sent me a text about it later, which was nice to get. I was under the impression the over seeding would be done via machine, but that wasnt the case. I have grass sprouting in most places, so overall am happy with the work that was done.

I really love how quickly they were able to help us pick up our leaves. My husband and I are both unable to pick up the copious amounts of leaves due to recent injuries. I wish the guys doing the work could have taken a bit more care avoiding our yard lights (several were damaged) and would have put our gutters back but otherwise I was happy with the service provided.

They also followed up in a manner that was as acceptable and not annoying. I would recommend them for any of their services if you have never hired out landscaping before! I do not have any photos to share as it s winter, but I could add them after the next aeration.

We have used Yardworx for years to aerate our lawn spring and/or fall. I contacted Josh through the company website and he responded back quickly. Service is easy to arrange. The guys who come are prompt and courteous and respectful of our landscape. We are happy with the service.

We would not recommend this company for aerating yard. The young man using the machine had a hard time handling it in the backyard, thus tore up and damaged much of the sod. Even after sending pictures to the owner of the damage, he admitted nor took no responsibility. We had to reseed and smooth out the large spaces damaged by the machine, at our expense.

Nobody will answer my calls or emails to get cleanup done again this year.

I hired Yardworx to aerate my yard, I would not hire them again or recommend them to anyone else. They do not communicate well with customers and are not prompt in returning their messages. The services provided are average at best and the customer service is quite possibly the worst I have ever encountered.

Read the negative reviews on here, they are real. They are poor communicators. I talked with them on the phone and they said they had availability and I told them I would call them back to let them know if I wanted it done for sure. I called later that day and left a voicemail AND sent an email. I asked them to call me to confirm we were all good. I then called them back two days later and left another message. I never did hear back. I get that they are busy and probably lost staff when school started (which is why I gave them two days to respond), but at a certain point you have to respond to people when they are making plans or they have to move on.

I had a wonderful experience with Yardworx. I requested a quote on their website, they were fair and showed up a couple days later to aerate my lawn. The guy was super nice and respectful of my yard. Took care to go around sprinkler and shut the gate to the backyard. I am extremely happy with their service and will be using them again in the future. Thank you again for your help!

Got a quote from them online for aeration. They showed up on the agreed upon day. I was confused when I got an invoice before the work was done, but they showed up later and did the job. It would have been beneficial if an estimated time can be provided. I thought the price was reasonable and the job done was good. I did not get other quotes and this is the first aeration I have done.

Called and asked about yard pick up for the spring. Leaves/Sticks,etc. They were there that day. They missed some sticks, I called the next day, they were back and picked them up, no questions, no new billing. It was great. Ive recommended these guy to several people and would encourage anyone looking to save some time on your spring yard clean up to give them a call. It was well worth it!

The guys that came to mow were always courteous. If I needed something done, there was never a problem. They did quality work , were quick and never left a mess. They always took a few minutes to play with our dog. Now anytime he hears mowers outside, he thinks its time to play. If a dog likes you, that is the ultimate stamp of approval. Would recommend.

Our mower broke and we needed lawn service ASAP. Josh was able accommodate us within the week. Very receptive to calls, added on services if we needed edging, bush trimming, etc. Nice Company!

These guys were awesome! Not only did they do an immaculate leaves removal job, but they came in under quote as well. They got the leaves everywhere. Off our patio, in our bushes, and out of the landscaping. I would strongly recommend their service!

Needed to clear all our many leaves as we could tell they were getting to neighbors yards, and we have a huge pin oak that drops leaves through fall and winter. After a messy fall and winter, our yard was a big mess but Yardworx made short work of it! They were able to come and clean it all up on fairly short notice. The messy fence lines can be seen now! They aerated, too! What a relief and what a great job they did! THANKS a million!

The lawn care was fair, not great. One time it rained and our yard is low in the back and can get swampy and they took their biggest mower and tore around the yard and made it a mud pit. The grass still hasnt grown back in some areas. That would have made them 3 stars, they lost the other star because I mailed a check and they didnt receive it. Instead of letting me know, they just stopped showing up and I had to call to see what happened. Then instead of apologizing like a professional company the man blamed me for not mailing payment even though I did. That was the end of me using them.

I contacted Yardworx on a Sunday evening to get an estimate on regular lawn mowing. I had a reply and estimate within the next day and by that Saturday, the crew was out mowing my lawn--and doing a great job! I thought for sure I would have to mow one last time before they got me in the schedule, but they worked me in immediately. Even with rainy weather, they worked me in the next week late on a Thursday evening and now I know the lawn will look awesome week after week without me ever having to worry about when Ill get the time to mow. Josh has always been very prompt in replies to my emails and seems to hire high-quality guys for his crew. They come in, get the work done quickly and professionally, clean up and dont leave a trace--then theyre done in about 20-30 minutes and the lawn looks better than what would have taken me 2 hours to do myself--nicely trimmed and edged, clippings cleared from sidewalks--nothing but green, manicured grass. I was hesitant to hire a mowing service because Im fully capable of doing it myself and I didnt know if a third party would care for the lawn to my high standards. Now Im so glad I chose Yardworx and it is worth every penny! So happy to come home to a freshly-cut, beautiful lawn each week and more than happy to support this business. The 5-star reviews are true--these guys are great!

Yardworx has been very responsive to my needs over the past year. I have a person who does my mowing, partial yard cleanup, gutter clearing and snow removal. YardWorx performs what he does not do. That includes aerating and perennial bed cleanup. When I told him that I had asked Josh to aerate, my regular person suggested they also put down seed for some bare spots concurrent with aerating. I asked Josh to do so; he said next week. Well, today my lawn was aerated and seed applied. To my surprise, yesterdays paper had an article about Dormant Lawn Seeding. I believe that is what happened today. Lawn prep by aeration with seed strewn afterward. Thanks to Chuck my regular lawncare person and to YardWorx for their part. The proof will be next spring.
