I just started using Tru green so Ill update how it goes but so far the technicians have been very professional

What a joke! I just got called saying my account is past due. I logged on WHILE ON THE PHONE with them. Both my accounts, yes 2 accounts I pay on with them, and they are both showing paid via auto payments to my VISA. They say it was set up to pay via a checking account. That is not true nor what they show in THEIR online system. That is CRAZY!! Are they scamming people out of extra money?!?!? Be warned!!

Mosquito treatment is very effective!

Great communcation on when they will work on yard as well as what was completed with instructions on watering, etc. TruGreen turned our yard from weeds and yellowing to a lush green carpet.

I was quoted 60$ for 7 visits minus the roughly 250 for aeration in late summer. The company ran through everything with me but didn t mention anything of a grub treatment. A 60$ visit turned to 136$ on my camera the technician was here less than 8 minutes and didn t spray whole yard just the front half. I immediately canceled my membership, they tried to persuade me to drop the price to 46$ for that day but I still canceled I just can t trust them.

I dont think all of the back yard was covered. My cameras say Taylor did not get the area south of the Pool. I could be wrong...

Josh with Truegreen has been great. He gave me his personal number and is quick to respond. 4 days after my first treatment and I already see obvious signs of progress. Cant wait for the season to progress.

Michael does a great job taking care of our trees and shrubs. He also gives great tips and other advice on our plants and grass when asked.

We have used TruGreen s services for our yards for different homes we have owned for over 26 years..

Michael took time to explain what he was doing today. He said if I have a question and am not home when he comes to put a note on the door. Very personable.

Faithfully relied on this outfit for two years . Finally had to draw the line after observing the truck hose did not reach our property line . I gave them some credit until I observed this . I had been spot spraying and wondering why I needed to be out there chasing noxious weeds . Makes sense now , If they can t reach that far let the customer know . Sick of it , then bombard my wife with phone calls and emails . Great for small yards , 1 acre no chance .

Raymond W informed me when he was on his way and when he arrived. Since this was my first application I met him outside. He informed me of what he was putting down, how long it would take to dry and answered my questions about watering. He also told me I would get a text with this information. Raymond was polite and informative and I am looking forward to having Raymond and TruGreen taking care of my lawn needs.

I used them one year and the employee got rude with me because my back door was open and he was afraid of my dogs, only, my door wasn t open. So I called his boss and was told they would send another tech, the same tech came and knocked on my door, early in the morning, to tell me I almost cost him his job. I canceled my future services but they tried to automatically renew my services anyway, only I changed my accounts. Now they keep calling to ask my why I cancelled services, I have so far, blocked 3 of their numbers.

if someone damages your mail box, shouldnt they be on it . My mother cant get her mail. SHE is 85 if you would like to contact me I have left 2 Voice Mails . My mother uses this business I am the person in charge.

Talked to me about seeding at this time of year. Said that it is a good time to seed since it is a wet August.

Very good at identifying any problems that I have and taking care of them. Very friendly service. Very knowledgeable.

Dishonest service. A Specialist came to my house did only less than 6 minutes. I was inside the house and I never see he/she at my back yard so I check the my motion cameras (I have a few), none of the camera pick up. To make sure, I walk fast, all the cameras works fine. I have True green services about 2 year no wonder why my lawn getting worst. I just canceled. If you want True Green please reconsider, or make sure they do their job properly.

Weeds still seem to be everywhere but I imagine my neighbors dont help on that front slowly but surely its getting better

When we moved in the yard was pretty much weeds. I tried doing it myself but was not getting results. Called TruGreen and in less than the summer season there was a marked improvement. The following summer I only saw weeds in the alley. They are careful not to kill off the flowers and plants. Biggest hit for me was that I didn t have to handle the chemicals and actually paid less that when I was trying to do it myself. There were a few missteps over the years but overall the company has lived up to the promise. Thanks TruGreen!!

Trugreen over treated my grass to the point it burned up. They were advised to let me know 48 hours in advance they were coming to treat the yard so I could clean up the yard and assure the back gate was open free of the dog. They failed to contact and refused to return to treat my backyard. Worthless and pushy!

They are good when they show up. They miss one application last year and I am still waiting on the first application this year.

Impossible to get in touch with anyone locally. And so far no one has showed up to treat the lawn. Poor service so far. Hopefully someone is able to come soon. Should have just treated lawn on my own. Very disappointed... Will update if ever send anyone.

Service automatically renewed itself without my authorization. I called to cancel and was placed on hold twice for a lengthy amount of time (Im sure hoping that Id hang up) then when rep came back to say I was canceled I was not given a cancelation number or any proof. System will not let me remove my credit card info. Very bad customer service.

Used the service for two years hoping that the magic would kick in at some point but we cancled them for leaving our gate open and letting our dog escape. The main issue is that the lawn has more weeds and spotty patches then before they started. The service wasnt cheap in any way and ended up being a giant waste of money. Could do better with menards fertalizers.

I have been a TRUEGREEN customer for close to 10 yrs. Ive never had any problems or issues. I did, however, receive a bill for a lawn treatment. I ALWAYS pay the full amount at the beginning of Spring. I could not figure out why I had recvd this bill. I called customer service and talked to Donna. She said I owed the bill! After a long conversation, she said I STILL OWED THE BILL!! I asked her if she wanted to lose a customer of 10 yrs? I said good bye and hung up. I called a dif number, talked to COREY. What a dif in attitude!! Told him about the bill. He asked me questions and did some checking on my past cust history. He said WE DONT WANT TO LOSE A GOOD CUSTOMER OF 10YRS! He said there must have been a communication problem on their part and would drop that charge! COREY IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE!! DONNA should look for a different job.

Dont get hit by one of their vehicles. They are insured by a scam company who will not pay you. Weve been battling this company for months only to now give up and file through our own insurance which Im sure is what they intended us to do.

Weve used Trugreen for several years and loved them but something has really changed! Received a statement that is double the amount weve ever paid, charged for an application on 3/18/2021 but no sign in the yard and no paperwork in the door with information about what was applied. Maybe it wasnt applied? Have attempted to call Trugreen 4 times to dicuss this situation and the billing. The automated system states the wait is 3 hours but leave a call back number and your call will be returned in the order it was received. We left callback numbers all 4 times and no one has returned our call. Very sad to see a business we enjoyed for several years decline. Customer service was always top notch from the rep. on the phone to the person who applied the weed control. Would like to reconsider using their service if we can reslove these issues but no one to talk to.

Just started service and cannot get ahold of anyone to let them know they missed apart of my property and find out what plans they have for my yard.

If I could give zero stars I would. After having their services almost 4 months now absolutely no change to my lawn whatsoever. All the service invoices they sent me said their workers only did 1 minute of work for which they charged me 50+ dollars. My most recent service was reschedule 3 times yes 3 times for no reason and when they finally came out today they walked through my front lawn with no sprays or equipment or anything for 30 seconds and then left and left me with another 50 dollar service charge. Then I go to call customer service because their chat function on the app doesnt work, big surprise. My call is disconnected (I got hung up on) 3 times and each time I had to call back was another 20 to 30 minutes on hold before I even get to talk to anybody. When I finally get to have a conversation with somebody I tell them Id like to cancel my service and the reason why and they didnt try to rebuttal or save my business at all they just told me I wouldnt be charged for todays service and all services going forward would be cancelled. How are these people still in business if this is how they do things?! 0/10 would never recommend to ANYBODY EVER!!

The actual lawn work they do is really good. That being said they are a straight up NIGHTMARE when it comes to customer service and organization. One rep said its only an auto bill system the next one said we can just have bills mailed, they oh wait no its autobill but since we were told wrong we can do the direct bill. Just kidding we will auto withdrawal anyway. You will call to cancel a service or postpone and they will come anyway. They will randomly schedule you without telling. It is the worst experience when it comes to customer service ever. yes the lawn looks good but id rather do it myself or hell not at all

Have used this company for 2 years previous, and on the 2nd application of weed control this year the applicator decided our lawn was 3x the amount that I was quoted and prepayed for the year. I asked for a District Manager to call because the whole encounter was not professional- and was told after waiting on hold for a long time that I would have a call within 48 hours and I still have not received a call back from them and its been 2 weeks. Very unorganized and not customer friendly.

I tried using them this year for my lawn care. I have weeds in my yard that I have spoken to them about twice. They aerated and over-seeded, but didnt do over 1/3 of my yard. I purchased their top of the line package and am very disappointed.

Horrible customer service. Tried to cancel service last fall and they automatically renewed. Tried to cancel appointment when received email that they were on their way. Service tech already arrived at house before email was sent. Service tech lied on statement that he rang the door bell. He did not ring the door bell. Customer Service will only refund half the amount not the full amount like the first customer service agent said. They lie and just take your money. Awful customer service!!!!

This lawn service has really gone down hill. They used to be great. My lawn look great. This last year they were sooooo focused on spraying for mosquitoes and ants. Im not even really sure they ever sprayed our weeds. Our lawn looks TERRIBLE. THE ONLY GREEN IS WEEDS... Dont get this service if you want green grass. Lots of weeds...they are your guys.

Do not show up as scheduled, make excuse that pet was in yard. Cannot get return call from local management.

I use them for lawn maintenance. I highly recommend TruGreen.

#TruGreenFail First they charged me for an appointment that they canceled and never performed. Then Ryan called and begged for another chance; hed walk hand in hand to make my yard great. On the second chance they burned a big brown patch of grass beside my front door. Now, they wont return my call, and I havent seen the refund for the work they did not do.

After their most recent treatment on 6/17 my lawn is now brown. My lawn looked great previously, but is now the worst looking lawn on the block. It has rained every day for the past two weeks, so it is not due to lack of water. I have been unable to get anyone to come back to look at it.

Very nice and informative associates that did the work. Like the time frame notifications that sent out. Good job!!!

Scammers,bad services, when one of them knock your door dont believe what they say

I have 1 year old sod and have the 6 step process done. I have supplemented with 2 rounds of milorganite, gypsum, and humic acid to help the soil yet I still have the worst looking lawn on the block. I have called a month ago and they said my yard had some disease that would go away after they fertilize it. Since then I have aerated and over seeded yet the grass still looks hideous. WTH TruGreen? Make my yard green an Ill remove this post.

Good results with TruGreen! Also, I like their app: you can track everything, reschedule, etc.

Upon calling for initial service, I was grossly disappointed that I experienced 2 no shows. After visiting the office in person and expressing my frustration as well as contacting their corporate office, effort was made to correct the situation. There are still some difficulties but at least they are attempting to rectify the situation.

When I signed up for service one of the questions were Do you have patches in your yard? and Do you need service for the patches in your yard?. I answered yes for both questions and after 3 years of service they have not once done anything for the bare patches in my yard.

We had a thick lush lawn but hadnt done much as far as fertilizing or weed treatments so decided one year of TruGreen would be just what it needed to make sure it was at its best. BIG MISTAKE!!! Our once beautiful lawn is now mostly dead, as in a dried up brown wasteland. A professional lawn company killed our lawn.

We hired TruGreen to fertilize and control weeds in our yard this year. Since they have been taking care of this our yard looks worse than it did before they started and we have weeds all over our yard. Also, they have a note on our account to inform us when they are coming so that we can get our dog out of the yard, this has never happened. Today took the cake, spoke with a rep for them this morning regarding the application that was to be done this morning. The rep stated that they have a note on the account to call before they come out. Never called and found that they had been there aournd 11:30, I went home from work to let our dog out at 12:30 and found that they had been there. Would never recommend they to anyone ever.

TruGreen helps to keep my lawn looking healthy all year. The specialist is friendly whenever I speak to him. The specialist shows up at a decent time, which is important because we have a dog and she barks whenever she sees anyway near our house. I feel we get a good value for what we pay for.

Very, Very disappointed!!! First off, I have had great difficulty in dealing with the main office. I called to set up a plan and was given quite a run a round. I got called back five times the same day with five different people asking the very same questions. Dont they keep records or share info? I was called a 6th time that same day, as I recognized the number and was at that time exasperated by this ridiculous incompetence I answered the phone how can i help you this time and was promptly hung up on. I should have cancelled then After a summer and fall of treatment, aerating and seeding I am no better off than I was when I started. In fact, the yard is by far worse. It is dirt. I followed the watering instructions to a T .... I am an very detailed person. I asked question, I raked up twice a week so as the leaves in the fall would not hinder any growth. Still, any grass that grew died quickly after germinating. Im done. After talking to the collage educated, nice folks at Miller Seed here in Lincoln I will be following their guidance and doing the work myself.

My daughter came over the other day and complemented our lawn. She loved it so much that she wants to have her lawn done. I told her that TruGreen will give you a reminder call before they come to service your lawn. The specialists are courteous and announce when they are there to service your lawn and they also take the time to tell you what your lawn may need and ask if you have any questions for them. If we are not home they also leave a detail summary of the serviced that was performed that day. I have even had neighbors that love our lawn and have chosen to use TruGreen.

Its June... They have the $$$$ but havent showed. Nation wide companys like this arent very reliable! Canceled service!

My yard is green again! Over all true green had maintained my yard for me to get it on the right track. We had so many weeds and now we have it under control

TruGreen always calls ahead of time to let us know they will be out the following day! They leave a review of what they found in our lawn and what types of treatments they preformed. We appreciate both updates!

As always, the TruGreen specialist was efficient, professional, and prompt. He completed the job according to schedule and left me information about what he did while in my yard.

The specialists are always friendly and courteous in the performance of their jobs and when asked questions about various lawn topics. Our lawn is very healthy and has improved each year we have used the TruGreen service.

Your customer service is absolutely terrible. We have call numerous times for follow up on vegetation control and have had no one call us back in two weeks. Please call A1 Automotive as soon as you can.

There is nothing to rate here. TruGreen took the entire contract money at one time, they provided ONE good service, they did not cancel service when requested & they bounce you all over the United States when trying to contact them. Their attempt to save money is PATHETIC. They have ZERO Customer Service & it is IMPOSSIBLE to contact a local rep. I rate them just as bad as the GOVERNMENT.....and that aint a good thing. We have switched to a local service & it is like going from a nightmare to a sweet dream.

They are very efficient. A call ahead a day before they are scheduled to come out to perform the scheduled work. A work order receipt is provided in my door after the work is completed to let me know what they did. They place a flag in my yard to alert me and neighbors of caution for people and pets. if I need a follow up, they come out quickly to handle any concerns. My yard looks great because I have had them aerate it a couple times. Helps with weed control.

My most recent experience with Tru Green was a positive experience. Our lawn has been transformed this summer. I appreciate the timely manner that they visit my property and the results have been outstanding.

I had an issue with my service, but couldnt reach anyone locally. All of the local phone numbers transfer to national call centers. Always sales, never customer service. I eventually gave up, it wasnt worth the hassle. Ill be sending my future business to a local company, not a national chain.

TRUGREEN helps to keep my lawn looking good!!! I appreciate the timeliness of the service, and the fact that I can call anytime and have a specialist and come and treat whatever is the problem. The service provided by TRUGREEN is very efficient and done well.

TruGreen does a great job of treating my yard each year. They keep my grass green and weed/grub free. What more could you ask for? They do what they say they are going to do.

I have had TruGreen service for a couple years here in town and their service technicians are highly skilled and their customer service people are extremely courteous. I highly recommend their services if you want a nice looking lawn and dont have time to go out and buy/apply the chemicals needed.
