I own a rental property in Lincoln NE and as such this business automatically assumed I didn’t want to pay top dollar for lawn mowing services, the person I spoke to literally told me “we only service high end clients that are willing to pay a lot money for lawn care” he knew absolutely nothing about what my lawn care budget was and didn’t want to take the time to find out. So unless you want to pay top dollar for lawn care I would avoid doing business with this business.
No matter what you have Fred and his team at FM Lawn Care do for you, you can be assured it gets done to the highest level of degree! Fred and his team of professionals are top notch and we appreciate all of their hard work!! Hands down, we think you are the best in the business in every aspect!! FM Lawn Care has done a fantastic yard cleanup in the fall for last several years. We have a large yard with many many trees so we have mountains of leaves. We have tried to do it ourselves and ended up with at least 80 bags of leaves or more. FM blows all the leaves in big piles and hauls them away. Our yard looks amazing when they are done. Highly recommend their work!
I called this company to come out and give me a bid on cleaning up the property of a new business we acquired. Fred was prompt, professional and honest. Because of the number of trees to be removed, he actually recommended a couple of tree removal service providers that he’d worked with in the past. We will certainly use him in the future for lawn care and clean up.

Fred and the team at FM Lawn Care are great to work with, Very professional, friendly and always on schedule. They also do a great job with aeration in the spring and fall. Plus, Fred always has the time to offer advice or help with other questions related to landscaping and plantings. And if that's not enough, his prices are very competitive.

Ive used FM lawn care for several years to aerate and do fall clean up. The owner is attentive to detail and they keep you informed of when they will be coming out or if there are delays. Very reasonable prices.
Should have read these reviews prior to trying to work with this company. Just like the others, they would never return phone calls and the 2 appts I had set up, they didnt show up to either (had to set the 2nd one since they no showed to the first one). They were referred by a friend, but later found out the friend stopped service with them since they wouldnt consistently service their yard like they agreed to. Also love how they reply to a Google review 6 months later (probably about the same time it takes them to return a phone call) and try to deny the customer had the experience they have. Just to make it clear so they cant make the same rebuttal, I do own property within Lancaster County, and can easily prove the communication Ive had with them (or lack there of). You would be way better off going with a different local company.

FM maintains many properties in my neighborhood and they do a phenomenal job. I had them start doing my two properties and they have done a great job. They are professional and punctual. I look forward to having them care for my yards.
I have nothing but good to say about Fred and his team. Not only do they do excellent work, but Fred is kind and knows a lot about lawn maintenance. I have never been disappointed. He never tries to sell you anything than what you truly need and I have the best looking lawn I have ever had.

Great team. Had them do leaf removal on yard. Profrssional, fast service. Have equipment to do job quickly (did entire yard in little over hour). Made a return trip to clean gutters as leaves were frozen on that day. Would recommend and will use again.

Switched from TruGreen two years ago because I wasnt seeing the results I wanted. Fred told me from the first call, it would take about a year to see the results of his system - but that Id be happy. Boy has he been right. The lawn looks amazing! And it is a very challenging property to manage. We are on an acreage surrounded by weeds and fields, on top of a hill, with no tress for protection and it looks amazing after only one year with Fred. What I appreciate most about Fred is his level of customer service. Which was also a huge pain with the big box provider. If I have a problem or question I can call Fred and hell answer it - he knows my property. With the big box guys, theyd miss an application, Id call in about it and get transferred to a call center in Georgia. You cant go wrong with these guys. Small local business that works hard and gets the job done right!
If you are looking for a company that doesnt return any of your phone calls and looking for a company that doesnt show up to scheduled appts, this is your company. Their customer service is beyond terrible. The rare time they did answer the phone, we set an appt for them to come out and they never showed up....shocker! Dont waste your time with these guys. You will regret it. Looks like other reviewers have had the same experience.
Not impressed. I called just before Christmas and asked for an estimate for my mothers anchorage. He said he could get me an estimate by January 1st, but I never got a call. I called twice after that and left messages asking for a call back with no response. I called today (1/18/17) and reached the owner. His response to me was Oh yeah, we went and looked, but it isnt going to work out for us. No apology or anything for his lack of effort in responding to my voicemails. I will send my business elsewhere.
We used fm lawn care for about seven years. We were very satisfied with the service. But we asked him to pay for some damages that one of his employees had done. He took the amount off our bill and then cancelled our service. He said our property was too high of a risk for another potential accident. Nothing had changed on our property the whole time he was servicing it. And when this accident happened I talked to him and he said that employee was only with him a day and no longer worked there. So if you want to keep your account with him do not ask him to pay for damages done by his employees. Also the owner is one of the reviewers on here.
Best lawncare professionals in Lincoln. We have used FM Lawncare for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. Not only have they helped us maintain a beautiful lawn and landscape they have taught us a great deal about proper conservation methods. Dont mow too short. Set your sprinklers properly and do regular maintenance on the system. Select the right plants and grass seed. Thank you FM Lawncare for your many years of service to our community.
