We recently had a fence and gate fitted by ALS. The service and experience was flawless, with excellent communication from start to finish. The whole team we dealt with were brilliant, and the job was booked in and finished less than two weeks after I made initial contact. 100% would recommend!

I had my driveway paved and new turf laid and it was reassuring to know that I could trust the project to a professional team. Communication was excellent and without exception everyone was helpful and friendly. The attention to detail was impressive.

Three years ago we had some landscaping done in our garden which did not really work. We thought we would have another go and picked 3 firms to get estimates from. The first one we visited was ALS Landscaping and we had an informal presentation and look around their showroom/yard with the boss Addam. On the way home we both agreed it was an impressive set-up and we were going to use them and forget the other two. Not wanting to make the same mistakes again we had a lot of advice from their surveyor Tony who gave us an extremely detailed estimate broken down into chunks - so if it was too much or you changed your mind you could lop a bit off. We went for all of it and they built us a new front step, a new patio, replaced two loose chip paths with block paving with several layers of stuff underneath and cleaned the remaining paths and driveway. They cleaned a large stone circle we wanted to keep and did a perfect job of running the path around the edge of it. Two things they did not do, which you hear a lot of, was demand extra money halfway through - we paid exactly what they quoted and nor did they do a bit of work then disappear on another job for days. Some of the team swapped about a bit but once they started they worked coninously until it was finished. At the end of each day they would tell us they were off, what they had done and what they were going to do the next day - and Tony swung by a few times to check on progress. The old patio and paths were only on our front lawn a few hours before it was all scooped up and removed and you would never know now that our lawn was full of slabs and blocks for a few days. When they finished there was not a single trace in the garden that they had been there except our new patio and paths which we are really pleased with. I cant compare their prices to others because we never asked anyone else but I do know they did more work than our last firm 3 years ago for only a little bit more money. I would struggle to think of anything to moan about with ALS - everything went smoothly, it was a pleasure having them doing the work and they were a pleasant bunch who worked really hard. My wife and I are really pleased with the outcome and we can highly recommend ALS Landscaping.

I highly recommend ALS. We have a new build property and weren t really sure where to start with doing something with the garden. Ricky and the team produced a design for us that we loved and ALS have now built for us. The designs are highly detailed and every aspect of the garden is considered. I recently moved into a new build house with a good patio and turfed garden but otherwise a blank canvas. ALS installed a shed base and created some gravel areas for garden furniture and planting. Im very happy with the work; the team made suggestions whilst on site to improve the overall appearance and be more consistent with the existing hard landscaping. I have plans for some further landscaping next year and will happily go to ALS again.

We can recommend ALS without reservation. We asked them to erect secure high fencing with lockable gates on each side of our home, and they did the work promptly and efficiently (despite the rain). We are very pleased with the result in every possible way, and can recommend this firm to anyone without reservation.

Very friendly but professional throughout.

The team leader was very personable and kept us informed of the progress and daily plans. Minor clarifications & modifications to the plan & design were quickly highlighted from both sides and acted upon to resolve. Testament to good customer relations is the ability to respond to any outstanding observations after the job is complete; ALS were very prompt and attentive to a couple of minor issues, which were quickly resolved the next working day. The work was done in the timescales given and was left in clean and tidy order.

We had a number of large conifer trees and remnants of an old rotten fence removed, and a nice new wooden fence built in their place. The work was done in 2 days to a high standard (despite being swarmed by wasps after disturbing a hidden nest...Sorry guys), and we could not be happier with the result. We were told the work would begin each day at 8am and the guys arrived at 7.58 both days, which was perfect. If ever we need more gardening work doing, Ill definitely be giving ALS a call.

The 34 year old back fence, along with the side fencing succumbed to the recent storms. ALS were recommended by my in-laws. We had an appointment at the office with Addam who then arranged for Tony to come out and do a survey and quote. Both were very professional and helpful with recommendations etc. A date for work commencement was arranged within 2 weeks of quote acceptance. We ended up having two teams of workers. Kenny and Aaron started the job, dismantling the never ending fence panels and trellises and erecting a couple of new panels. Because of the mechanical failure of their van they were unable to finish the job. However, ALS kept us updated and found a second team (Mickey, Matt & Harvey) who completed the fences. Both teams worked very hard and we were impressed with the end result, clearing up and the removal of all fencing. We would be very happy to recommend ALS to others as well as have them do any other work we may require in the future.

ALS helped to convert a difficult garden space that was unsafe and unsuitable for use by my mother and her little dogs. It was a miserable space in dire need of a well considered design to rejuvenate it, within budget of course. The design Addam and his team came up with was simple, sleak and really considered the space as well as resolving some level issues and a step from the conservatory. The process was quick from start to finish with great communication throughout, daily update videos and his team were absolutely fantastic with my mother and made her feel comfortable and safe at all times. They were clean and actually finished the work early. The guarantee on the work and materials is great and although the price may not be the cheapest at face value, the whole package was good value for money and made the whole process painless. The system ALS use for quotes and invoices is also really good and clear with options you can choose along the way for your budget and ideas. Addam was honest and open all the way and this was a key reason for choosing him and his team. I cannot recommend ALS enough to anyone who need a garden rejuvenated for daily use with really good attention to detail on material, blocks, artificial grass installation and general workmanship. A.L.S. Landscaping provided professional service and transformed both our front and rear gardens in December 22 & January 23 and we have no hesitation in recommending them. A.L.S was chosen as we were impressed with local projects and reviews posted on their website. Our requirement was to replace our embarrassing overgrown jungle into an enjoyable, low maintenance garden area for ourselves and also a safe environment for our young grandchildren. Addam was able to guide us through the design process, demonstrating his knowledge of the wide range of quality products ALS supply, along with accurate costings, and was able to offer a quick start date. Nothing but great things to say about ALS! My fence blew down in the heavy winds a couple of weeks ago, so I contacted ALS about getting a whole new one installed. They were quick to come out and have a look at what needed replacing and what I wanted done with it, and the quote was more than fair and affordable. After the quote they came in the next week to replace ~15metres of fence and everyone was really friendly and professional. The work was all done within the day and they cleared away all of the waste from the old fence. I would give higher than a five star rating if I could and will definitely be considering them in the future if I want my garden landscaped!

ALS are a great company to work with. The service we received was of the highest standard, I would go as far as to say perfect! The team worked so hard, even when we had snow showers. They made sure that I was happy with even the smallest of details from start to finish. They were always polite, courteous, and ensured that the neighbours were always happy, causing minimum disruption during the 5 weeks of removal and installation. They collaborated incredibly well with other suppliers and created schedules of when the other installations could be done (summer house and EV charger) consulting with the EV team and laid the cable from halfway down the garden to the house. I had the first consultation with Addam and although I knew roughly what I wanted (40 Pinterest pins) I needed the design service to put my ideas together. The main reason for the work was the new EV, I needed access to the garden, parking, and an EV charger, with a relaxing area and summer house. Addam knew that I did not want to create a car park and planned the garden accordingly. The 3D video really helped my husband see all my ideas in one clear space, Addam even went as far as to include our precious cat in the presentation, it was details like this that assured us we had made the right choice. The products that ALS used are of the best quality and they fit well with the colour scheme that I had in mind. I have been able to find complimentary furniture easily. Time wise the team were always punctual, worked till the planned section was finished and left the garden as tidy as possible, ensuring everything was safe and secure. I could not recommend the team and products enough; I have my dream garden and can enjoy it for many years to come. I cannot recommend ALS enough and will be using them for the front garden in the future.

Weve used ALS twice now; once at our old house and now again at our new house. On both occasions the quality of work produced by ALS has been excellent, and weve loved both gardens. On this occasion we also utilised the design service, which really helped us visualise the end product and was well worth the investment. Addam and his colleagues are all great people as well, and very easy to work with. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend ALS.

We contacted ALS to do our garden as we wanted a professional and trusted company in to sort out the issues we had of water logging. Addam came to see us and came up with two options that suited our budget. From the very start we felt confident in the process of excavating 300mm of nasty clay that was the ultimate problem, and replacing with a 100mm mix of gravels sandwiched between layers of permeable membranes, and topped off with 200mm of quality topsoil and stadium turf. We also lost all the weeds, brambles, thistles and docks that were overtaking the garden due to the developers poor preparation of the original garden. The team are a fantastic bunch, professional, friendly, respectful and a great laugh too when chatting to them. After a bad experience with another contractor we asked ALS to help us realise our dream garden. From the design phase to getting shovels in the ground ALS we re very professional and accommodating with our specific time requirements. Taking the time to get the skilled detail to our expectations. Then adding extra workforce when needed to get the job done on time. All of the ALS crew were a pleasure to have at our home. Very polite and respectful and nothing is too much trouble for them. They are all very experienced at what they do but also very accommodating and happy to take onboard any of our concerns. ALS Landscaping recently did some driveway and fencing work at my mothers property. Tony and his team, namely Kenny, Allan and Harvey were simply excellent. I rang ALS early Aug to survey and quote on some replacement fencing that had collapsed in Bracebridge Heath (concrete posts, gravel boards and 5ft wooden panels). Front of office and workman very professional and survey, quote and erection of fencing all completed within 3 weeks to my entire satisfaction. Communication throughout was good as was speedy invoicing. A highly recommended firm who take pride in their work.

From the original meeting to discuss our small garden project ALS staff worked with us to get it to our budget, going back and forth with adjustments. Once on site I cannot fault their commitment to getting the project completed. Always early arriving and not minding that I wasnt up! They always thanked me for drinks etc. I was amazed how they drafted staff in and kept me informed of what was happening and any changes to the original plan. The work that went into preparing the area to the finished project I cannot fault and I know only small thing but we love the wall extension which is in keeping with the original wall. We can t recommend ALS strongly enough. Highly professional, skilled and with excellent communication, at no point during the project did we feel uncertain about what was happening and when. The initial consultation took our relatively embryonic vision and fine tuned it. The design software really helped us to see how the garden could look, and allowed us to shape Ricky s design to our satisfaction. At the project start the team were extensively briefed by Ricky and Addam to ensure that the plan was understood and that the plants and trees we wanted to retain were saved. Throughout the project Ricky was on site very regularly both ensuring that everything was progressing correctly and also getting hands-on when required. Craig and Micky were the main team on-site and were punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and showed such a level of attention to detail that you could have thought they were working on their own garden. With well planned and communicated material deliveries there was never any waiting around and work progressed well, even when the weather turned sour. When the workload ramped up more manpower arrived and whether it was Tania bringing in the ballast or Elvis building planters or Aaron preparing the ground for blockwork they all worked quickly and professionally. As the project developed small modifications and additions were made; some of which were at our request and some were suggested by Ricky or Craig to improve on the overall aesthetic. Anything we requested was quickly quoted for and processed, so we were always in control of the cost of the work. Changes that were suggested by Ricky or Craig always added to the design, the costs for which were absorbed by ALS. Towards the end of a project, it is easy for the momentum to drop off and the finishing touches to be poorly finished; not so for ALS. Even with some end of project delays due to terrible weather, as soon as it was possible the site was full of bustle, completing the turf and path, ensuring everything was clean and tidy and not a single scrap of material was left behind. The end result speaks for itself; the design made real and looking better in real life than any rendering could achieve. Thank you to the whole team for an incredible job. 10/10.

We had used ALS in the past and knew we wanted them back to make improvements to our garden after having an extension built. For the fifth time we again chose ALS for this year s Spring projects and of course we were not disappointed. Addam came and offered sound and professional advice which we were pleased to accept. We needed to make a raised uneven patio and outside step safe. There were a few trip hazards on the pathway and a tired lawn also. Addam patiently suggested solutions with the choice of materials and especially the difficult access. This included a new lawn also. Daunting - it was. Over the next two weeks Matt and the team were hardworking, reliable, conscientious and flexible especially in challenging weather conditions. This helped the whole job run smoothly and efficiently. We stumbled across ALS after we saw them doing another job rectifying a poorly laid driveway by another company. We were very impressed with what we saw and asked them to come and quote us for our drive and garden. Addam was very thorough and talked us through everything. The work was started, with minimum disruption. The workmen were all very polite and professional, ensuring that they tidied and cleaned up at the end of each day. It s now been a month and the turf has taken well, patio looks great and even the neighbours have commented how lovely it looks. We heard about ALS through some friends. After meeting Addam, we asked him to come and quote for some fencing and to lay a base for a greenhouse, as well as turf around a patio. He visited and discussed our options, letting us know possible things which might arise whilst completing the job. We felt happy and confident with his approach, so booked ALS to undertake the work. On day 1 the team arrived early and clearly knew what they were doing. Throughout the work, we found them to all be polite and friendly. When the possible snags did arise, Addam explained everything, sourced additional materials with ease and then the work continued. We are really happy with the professional finish and we are once again enjoying our garden. We will definitely use ALS in the future.

This was a job for which I had to claim on my insurance. They made the garden look even better than before. The men were friendly and they did and excellent job. Everything was left clean and tidy. They gave us a leaflet with instructions as to how to get the best out of the new lawn. Whilst they were expensive I would certainly recommend them.

Quoted £4000-£6000 to topsoil/ turf a 7m by 7m piece of land. When I asked for a quote breakdown, explaining that this is thousands more than other quotes received, I was told ALS probably isnt the right company for me! A very strange way to go about business indeed.

It has taken 3 weeks for the team from ALS to transform our garden from a partly unusable area to a spacious full size useable space, which we have very much enjoyed over the last few days and evenings. The ALS team are a super hard working team. The first stage of our alterations was to clear our garden of all slabs which had been down for 23 years and clear the small lawn area. My husband and I were amazed to see such hard working and committed young workmen. The heat was unbearable for us, but the lads just kept going, only stopping for ice cold drinks which we willingly supplied. Every day one or two of the team would arrive before 7.30am and no-one left our property until 4.30pm. Throughout the day they had organised tea breaks, but never abused their allocated time. They wore their ALS tops so were easy recognisable. My husband and I were so pleased with the way they behaved, they were always polite and respectful to us, always had time to answer any queries we had and genuinely took pride in their work. Upon return from holiday, Addam oversaw our project. Addam is a perfectionist and you could see the team had great respect for him. When things needed changing he always took the team to one side and guided them as to how it must be done. No fuss, shouting or getting annoyed, just a professional approach. For our new garden area we chose Chaucer Charcoal. This paving is rather quirky, the edges are not always perfect and often the top has little holes. At first we were not sure what to think of it, but now having lived with it for a few days and the actual colour has started to come through we love it as it is what we would call new age industrial and I would say the 3 new gates which we had installed go well with the new age industrial look. ALS has been a wonderful organisation to work with and we are so pleased we engaged with the whole team that worked on our project. They may not be the cheapest but because of the guarantees they offer, not only on their own workmanship but also the product we really couldn t have chosen better and would have no hesitation in recommending them. I would thoroughly recommend ALS Landscaping, I had a new garden fence built, from start to finish, and a little bit beyond, the customer service and communication was excellent. We had Addam and his team take out some old schrubs and weeds from our front garden and put up a new fence and gate, and replace our existing back fence and gate with a new one. They also took out some old stumps level the ground and concreted it. Amazing job the quality is great they were tidy cleaned up after themselves, and was kept up to date with everything happening. We asked ALS Landscaping and Fencing to quote for our project in the back garden to replace our fencing and large section of patio area along with a new section of patio to be added. For us, the whole task was quite daunting but knowing that ALS are very well known and are locally recommended it took the pressure off. From the first day the team arrived, they were committed to providing a great service and finished product, working hard to complete the project. Addam used his expertise and knowledge to provide a better visualisation and interpretation of what we wanted as a completed project, making some subtle changes to our design which in the end was far better than we anticipated and looks amazing. We would certainly use them again and would recommend their services.

Addam and the team were great, friendly, professional and we would recommend them to anyone. From start to finish they kept us updated, worked with us on some design changes and were able to create our dream garden whilst managing awkward access and traditional British weather. We cannot rate these guys enough. They have transformed our tarmac driveway with patchy, bug-infested lawn into a beautiful cobbled space for up to 6 cars with matching border around trees to create a turning point, a lovely finish to existing lawn using York flint, with cobbled pathways and matching porch. We absolutely love it. Always professional, really friendly team and Addam has a good eye for design!

ALS first completely re landscaped my front garden right as we were going into the first lockdown of COVID. Knowing they were going to have to close the site down for a while they worked all out to ensure they completed as much as possible and to make the site secure. Once they were able to return it was completed and it looks lovely. We also then had the back garden revamped which involved a lot of digging and levelling, also worked on the drains for a large new porcelain patio, new borders and turfing and made a great large fence to break up the garden. Their work was exceptional on all counts, lovely lads always helpful and nothing was a problem for them. Adam has a great work concept and would recommend his company to anybody.
