Great working with Greg and team. The team removed old patio pavers, installed new stone, added a walkway and landing near back shed, re-routed drainage. They were very professional and communicated well. Pricing was very fair and inline with quotes from landscape & stone professionals.
Great business, would use them again! Owner came out and gave me a fair price for some work I needed done. Once weather permitted they got started on the work and finished all in one day, when another company had started the work in such a ridiculous way it was going to take them 2+ days! Highly recommend these guys, good honest work.
Greg did the work on our front porch, walkway and front yard landscaping. He listened to my thoughts, incorporated and expanded them to make the project outstanding. His team was on time, worked hard and his price was within his original estimate. You are smart and will be pleased with the outcome if you hire this business to complete your brick/landscaping needs.
Greg and his team did our backyard Paver Patio this summer, and we are very happy and satisfied with how it turned out and how everything was handled from start to finish. Greg is very professional, knowledgeable, and is not holding back on good advice to make the project work for the consumer. We have an existing wood deck and the team was able to incorporate that into the stone patio seamlessly, it turned out great and we could not be happier. Greg was very attentive to details which may seem unimportant to some, but which made a difference between 'just a patio job' and a once in a lifetime project for us. Very happy how our Grill area turned out, also added a patio ramp so we can roll our grill into the garage for storage. The final touch was the Firepit which turned out great. Overall I would recommend Greg to anyone that's planning a great stone patio, 10/10 all around.
Sloan's did a phenomenal job repairing several areas of our brick patio. To complement repairs, the entire patio was power washed and resanded for a like-new look. Marcy and Greg were patient answering our questions throughout and ensured we were satisfied with the completed work. We won't hesitate to reach it to them for any future needs.
Greg and his team are by far the best! We had work done in the spring of 2017. We wanted something different with our front walkway, but not actually sure what to do. I’m also not a plant person, so I knew no names of landscaping I wanted. Greg met with us multiple times to get the plan set. He was awesome at coming up with a vision and having creative ideas with the project. He added a seating wall, up-lighting and an array of plants that really sets our yard apart! We have used Sloan Landscaping for several projects. About 8 years ago they replaced an old wooden deck with a paved patio/firepit with surrounding landscaping. It still looks great. Greg has helped us with some water drainage issues, putting in drains and altering the gutters to relieve some of the standing water and water entering the basement. He always follows up to see if any adjustments need to be made. Most recently we had some trees removed and replaced with another tree and shrubs and additional measures to help water runoff. They are always efficient, professional, and leave the area cleaner than when they started. There are never any surprises about the cost. He communicates clearly and quickly. We will continue to call Greg Sloan with any other landscaping needs!

Greg and his Team stayed in close communication with us throughout the project. They worked quickly, efficiently and gave us exactly what they promised. These guys were great. Replaced our 12 year old brick paver patio, leveled out all the surfaced and the landscaping they did with the trees, plants and bushes was fantastic! Highly recommend using Greg and his team.
My front steps were too steep for me to safely use. The problem was caused by frost heave movement causing the rebar to break. Both the Village I live in and another concrete service said new rebar was code to fix my problem. Sloans refused to do just new rebar. The only way to repair it correctly was with cylinders of new poured concrete starting below the frostline, attached to poured, new concrete steps and new rebar, and then raise the brick walkway. It was twice as expensive as the other contractors solution, but Sloans was right with their permanent solution, and the Village and the other contractor had a solution I did not consider good enough to be a permanent fix.
