You have workers out knocking doors on Christmas Eve. Shame on you. I feel for the door knockers. Nobody wants to negotiate a lawn care contract while prepping for Christmas.

I changed my lawncare services to Weed Man in 2024. I find that Weed Man engages with me much more than my previous provider. My technician rings the doorbell to discuss the application before it is applied. Moreover, the technician ask if I am experiencing any problems with my lawn. Lastly, I receive frequent calls from the customer service team at Weed Man to discuss recommendations and confirmation that I am a satisfied customer. I believe my lawn appearance is improving but, these dry summer days are not helping! I would recommend Weed Man to family and friends. 5 stars.

We have used Weedman since buying our new house with sod planted. They did well enough to keep them for 4 years. Now, my lawn is worse than ever. They burned multiple spots with excess fertilizer( maybe a combination of human error & equipment malfunction). However, Weedman was very professional in their recovery. Wade came by the house and took pictures. Another supervisor, Landon, called me. His call with a good recovery plan and bill adjustment made me loyal to Weedman. They did an excellent job of turning a bad situation into a positive outcome.

Ive never been called and harassed more in my life. I canceled the service over one year ago because I came to my senses and realized that the pollinators need dandelions, etc to survive and keep our ecosystem operating. I asked them to stop calling me every single time and they ALWAYS REPETIVELY CALL ME FROM A DIFFERENT NUMBERS. I block them and they keep calling. What a horribly disgusting way of going about getting business. Now after about 15-30 repetitive unwanted calls over the course of a year Im writing this review as a PSA. Run for your life from this obsessive company who will call you and call you and call you and call you and call you and call you and call you and call you and call you and call you and call you and call you. Maybe I will start calling them and harassing them.

I have tried Trugreen, but it has pathetic customer service. Weedmam has always tailored my service to my needs, not theirs. They also LISTEN. Trugreen did not. Would highly recommend this one. My lawn looks amazing too.

They are called Weedman because they let the weeds grow in your yard, and then attempt to act like they are killing them. They never come when they say they will. Twice they sprayed my neighbors yard instead of my yard. I called them and asked them if they did my yard, they said they would call the technician and check. The tech said yes they sprayed my yard, but they put a weedman sign in my neighbors yard. I called the office and spoke to Timmy, who said he is a manager. He said he would look into it and call me back within 24 hours. This was on May 22nd. I still have not had a call back, and when I call the office I am sent to voicemail. The last time I called a lady put me on hold, and I was on hold for 16 minutes before I hung up. The kicker is...I have a fenced in back yard. The last time they actually came and did my yard (not my neighbors) I found a cigarette butt and what looks like 1/4th of a marijuana cigarette (joint) laying out inside of the gate. I checked my Ring camera and I can clearly see the Weedman guy smoking on something, cigarette or joint. And then they toss it right on the ground by the gate, and then they didnt even latch the gate! They constantly call me to get me to upgrade my package but they cant even kill the weeds that I currently have. I was told by an employee that the owner is too busy trying to expand the business instead of improving the business. 0 starts

I was struggling to get my lawn looking the way I wanted. I tried to do many things myself and I was unsuccessful. I knew I needed professional help and gave Weedman a try. I felt they were honest in their assessment and their recommendations matched. Each time they come, my lawn becomes 1 step closer to what I want it to be. I know they don t have a magic spray to change it overnight but I can see the difference in what it looks like this time of year compared to where it was last year. I agreed to an estimate when someone came around I ve received flyers before and then they called and left a voicemail every day for five days straight while I was working. I don t think any company should pester people so much. We live in 2024 If you leave a voicemail, I will get back to you. But to call people every day and hound them that s not the making of a good company.

They never showed up

Weedman had reps walking door to door in my neighborhood offering free quotes. Which would be fine if they respected peoples no soliciting signs but they did not. As a night shift worker with 2 very alert dogs I have this sign for a VERY specific reason. I do not expect anyone to wake me up from my 2 out of 4 total hrs of sleep unless its a complete emergency. Instead I had a rep ignore my no soliciting sign, ring my doorbell AND knock 7 times having my jump out of bed completely confused and rushing to every door to make sure my fiancé wasnt locked out somehow or something wasnt wrong only for a weed man rep to laugh at me opening my door clearly asleep and offer me a free quote. He is lucky all I said was no thank you. My blood is boiling and I havent been able to fall back asleep since which is what led me to this page to leave my review. I would never hire a company that doesnt respect its customers requests or property.

Weed man came out this week and performed a fertilizer application to my lawn in Berea. The technician was very knowledgeable and informed me of everything he would be doing. Feels good to have this type of company down here in Berea. Highly recommend.

Read for honest review- I signed up with Weedman last year as I no longer had the time to maintain the yard myself. I spoke to a few different companies and chose Weedman because they seemed to value quality work and customer service more than the others even though admittedly they were not the cheapest option so I went with them. The first year was rough-they made most of the appts but they cancelled or missed a few scheduled services and it took a little time and effort but was able to get a majority of them rescheduled. I did NOT notice any improvements in the lawn after the first few scheduled treatments but decided to be patient and wait and see how things continued to go (I had prepaid for the whole year anyway). However towards the end of the service year my lawn looked WORSE than when we started! When I talked to them they said that it typical for first year clients- their exact words were it has to get worse before we can get it better . I was surprised that no one told me this at any point-not when I signed up, not during the year, and only when I called to ask. But customer service otherwise they were good, they answered the phone and tried to help. At the end of last year on the phone I told them that I would not sign up for their services again and they said they understood. Fast forward to a day or so ago when I get an email saying that payment is due for the first service of this year. I call and explain to them that I did not agree to services this year but because they sent an email back in November talking about next years services and the fact I did not respond to that email reminding them that I already told them I would not be a customer moving forward they say I still have to pay. So recap, do NOT expect results in the first year, do NOT expect for them to be the cheapest (they admittedly are not), DO expect them to answer your calls (why it s a 2 star review instead of 1), DO expect to be charged year after year even if you tell them verbally you do not agree to services.

I have to review this company because my experience is getting crazy. As far as service goes... this company is great. My yard never looked better. However, if you ever cancel, good luck. I have asked them to stop calling me every bit of 8 times. I keep getting calls about starting back up, and emails even though Ive asked to be removed. Its seriously like I tried leaving a gym. Unfortunately Weedman, because you will not stop leaving me alone about picking back up my service, Ill never be able to use you again.

I m so fed up with this company and their soliciting. I live in a no soliciting neighborhood with signs posted. Every two weeks someone different rings my bell to sell me services. I DO NOT WANT YOUR SERVICE!! They always say they are new or one even claimed he wasn t soliciting but just giving free estimates. OK, sure dude. I would give them zero stars if I could. We received a flyer for a discounted rate for weed man recently. We were so excited since we really needed help with our lawn since wild animals have destroyed our lawn mower. My partner called to request rates and they said they do not offer mowing and they did not service our area. What kind of lawn care service doesn t offer mowing? Also, why advertise in a location you refuse to service? Anyways, just like their name, their customer service is a joke. Still looking for reliable lawn care who is actually true to their word and won t spam people with false advertisement.

Was with them for 9yrs. Last 3 were lets say not so great. Broken promises and horrible customer service. Theyre more worried about having you as a customer than doing what they say. Destroyed my yard last fall. Was told they would repair it this spring. Then get the new proposal it went up $400. So in other words I was paying them to fix my yard. When I canceled my service they tried everything to get me back even said we will get right out and fix what we said we would. Still nothing. Figured ad much. Not saying they are a horrible company just know that there is plenty more options so shop around.

They said they provided me with a service and I called the office spoke to someone to provide me with proof that they did no one called and they charged me . They already saw that my lawn can t get any benefits from their what so called service but they only care about charging . I will send a letter to the better business B.

Weve been using Weeman for a little over a year now and the lawn is shaping up nicely. Our house is new construction and the sod was rough from the start. It will take some time for the soil to level out but the grass looks great. I would highly recommend these guys to care for anyones lawn.

Alway calling me even after I told them so and to take me off the calling list. When I told them I didn t want any service the worker got really mad and say sarcastically say so your lawn is just perfect huh

They do a great job of making your grass greener and healthier. We used them for years and appreciated having a nice, worry-free lawn. The prices increased, and when we canceled, I wasn t crazy about how aggressively they tried to keep us as customers. It wasn t like they offered us a really great retention deal or anything, they just contacted me without cease.

I can t speak highly enough about this company! In the past 12 months, WeedMan has totally restored our lawn! Our backyard has gone from having bare spots covered in straw to a lush green oasis that now holds up to our two German Shepherds. The orange construction fence I used to limit the dogs access has been thrown away! Our front lawn has gone from barely hanging on to being green, lush and healthy. I wanted to include before / after pictures but Google doesn t provide a way for me to add them to this review. The difference is striking. Be sure to take advantage of their other lawn services especially the fall aeration and over seeding. You will see the difference in late spring.

I m a 2nd year customer - I have been extremely satisfied with my service results - honestly I m the type that has a green thumb and loves doing my own lawn maintenance - but since I don t have much time these days to do my own lawn maintenance -I began searching for someone else to handle it and so I ended up being satisfied with Weed Man who was referred to me by a family member I trust- plus I saw the change in appearance of his lawn after almost a years time. They re also pretty affordable and will adjust to your personal budget for various services they provide.

We are pleased with the professionalism and strong customer satisfaction that characterizes this lawn service company. Two years ago, we tried another local service and were quite dissatisfied with them and terminated our contract with them. After a year without lawn service, we decided to try Weedman. After two months, it was a different story. We are happy with Weedman and plan to sign up for another year. Needless to say, we highly recommend them and encourage others to try Weedman out for any of their lawn services.

Service was canceled due to miscommunication and the workers leaving my property as soon as I would walk inside so I didn t have to do the job. That was just a beginning of a long list of issues. They were not upfront with billing and still try to charge over and over even though the service was canceled. After many problems, the service was canceled. Although I had cancellation emails and text over and over, they still were calling and would not cancel in the system completely. Just received a call today after I have requested that no calls be made and service be canceled months ago and they were very rude. I told the gentleman that I was not interested in it and to please be taken off the list again. He got mad and hung up. This is the kind of stuff you will deal with. Do not use this service!!

Not good, deceived services, too expensive for what u get

I have had recurring issues with Weed Man continuing to contact me after I have explained to several of the employees that I will never be their customer and even called to get removed from all call lists they may have. Last summer they tried to sell me their service, the cost was not worth what they were offering. They proceeded to call me multiple times a day, almost daily. Now theyve changed phone numbers and are continuing to call to ask for my business. The most recent call as soon as I said I would never be a customer they hung up immediately.

Ive been with weed man for years there only getting better, just follow there directions.

I started using Weedman this spring to make sure I didn t crab grass in the summer. I had MAJOR weeds covering my entire yard the entire spring and summer. When they came out (multiple times after I contacted them) to do a re-spray it did nothing. Finally in September, after multiple emails, a supervisor came out. He said it looked like the techs spraying had missed large areas multiple times. He sprayed and by the third time, with a heavy duty spray, did the weeds JUST start to die, but it s October! The grass is going dormant anyway. So I literally paid them for months and my yard looked TERRIBLE , the ENTIRE spring summer and into the fall. I tried to contact them again to tell them this is not ok, that I paid for a service that wasn t done/didn t work, but stopped getting a response. Someone did call to talk about my account , but probably to sell me more services. When I called back multiple times, it said the call couldn t go through. Will NEVER use them again. Images shown are what most of my yard looked like, or worse. All of that is weeds, not grass.

Beware of the upsell! Also, nothing is guaranteed. Thats what I was told after questioning why, after 3 years of grub control applications, my mole problem was worse than ever this year. Its not guaranteed to work, even though it seems to have worked in previous years. I was already considering cancelling after that when I received a phone call, telling me it was time to schedule Fall aeration and overseeding as part of my plan. They call frequently to upsell other products that are not a part of my plan but I guess they caught me that day, as I heard that aeration and overseeding were part of my plan, as it had been in previous years. They came and seeded in August, as the drought was beginning. I put up as good a fight as I could, trying to keep my whole yard watered during a drought, but it was too hot and the yard scorched up, really showing off my mole hills. When I called to pay, I asked why my bill was so much higher than normal and was told that they did the overseeding I requested and charged an additional $600 to my normal monthly plan cost. I corrected them and said No, you called me and worded it in a way that mislead me into believing it was included in my plan. They offered to pull the call and I waited 3 weeks for a phone call back. I finally got a sheepish text (not the phone call I was promised) saying that the agent stated the aeration was in my plan but not the seeding, so I must pay. I should have caught the tricky and predatory verbiage. Thats on me, I guess. I received $600 in bird feed, for which I will pay and cancel any further services. Please be dutiful when accepting calls from them.

Have used this service for 2 seasons and we are very happy with how our lawn has changed into a lush and uniform turf. Also, they take care of our bushes, trees and other plants in our landscaping by fertilizing and controlling insects and fungus. Very thorough and an easy company to work with!

Scheduling inconsistent no contact and many no shows. Billing appeared randomly when no services were provided. Requested contact prior to services. No contact and service was provided and invoice immediately appeared. Had to get management involved to cancel all services and resolve my issues. Very disappointed, hopefully this will enlighten management to follow up on procedures as this company is well known and generally provides excellent products and services. I may give them another opportunity in the spring.

I recently had some work done by Nathan Densford of this company. I could not have been more pleased. He was very kind and his professionalism was top notch. Nathan not only had the best attitude, his timelines and AMAZING work is why I also referred him to my place of business for weed control and grass seeding. I will definitely be using this company for any future needs. The entire experience was great! Highly recommended by me.

Have used them for two years. The last treatment they were here for less than 5 minutes for front and back yard and I pay approx $100-150 a month depending on the treatment for the month. We ve had weeds for the last three months. This will be the last year we are looking for a new provider. I have it all on camera. I can service my own lawn before I pay $150 for less than 5 minutes from start to finish pulling off. Once I was charged for a month they didn t even come to service. Not sure if they forgot us or short staffed.

Dormant fertilization was done. Weedman always come when they say they are. This is my 2nd year with this service and I have no complaints.

Only issue I have, is the lack of notice of the day they will be on-site.

I just was not impressed with this service. We paid almost $1500 over the course of two years for lackluster results. After the first year and spending around $900 we told them the results were not great and they said it normally takes two years for maximum results, so we gave them another year Not very intelligent, I know And we are still extremely unsatisfied. They were always nice, courteous, and show up on time though.

We have used Weedman for over a decade. The yards at both our previous address and our present home were both lacking healthy turf and full of weeds. Weedman teamed with us and listened to our concerns and goals. In each case the yard was noticeably improved by the beginning of the second season. By the beginning of the third season both yards looked great and we began to receive complements with inquiries about who was caring for our lawn. I highly recommend Weedman and their competent, friendly and professional technicians.

Well I used WeedMan for about about a year and half, the experience was so-so. Then a couple weeks after a treatment, my front lawn had clearly been neglected in areas (high growth-no growth. I called to cancel, the rep tried to make it right, but short me once, killed my confidence in them. Anyway a salesperson calls me today, I told them I was not a fan of WeedMan, he goes on and on after I told him why, then he asks if I m dumb? Negative exchange, then he calls me uneducated. Explenitives fly! What is wrong with those people?

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Management is all a bunch of college or barely out of college kids who let the power go to their head. As a technician, I tried to calm customer complaints, but the company is so poorly ran that most promises ended up being empty. Just a bad experience all around. Shop around for cheaper lawn care, because their claim that they are superior is false.

Goes door to door at inappropriate times interrupting families spending time together. If they can t get business with all the marketing, what does that tell you about the service?

Called a few times and left message to and made another call the lady stated we always call back well I don t know who you are calling but no messages left on phone and no missed calls we re on it I put some grass seed down and when they came out it killed the grass they was growing and on top of it it killed some of my flowers as well, but they sure to grab you money it only took me few phone calls to get someone to answer the phone to tell me how much I owe don t worry about the dead grass or flowers. I am now using my neighbors brother to fix this whole lawn care issue

I ve been using lawn care companies for a decade now , these guys got my yard farther In two years then the other guys did in 10. Love them, strongly recommend.
