Epic Lawn Care in Lexington

I couldnt be happier with the job Wes and Jeremiah did in my yard on a cold, blustery day in November! There was a tangled overgrown area along my fenceline consisting of pokeweed, saplings, and tons of entrenched vinca vine. All was interwoven through my chain link and neighbors picket. Also, there was a three foot old stump. 3 1/2 hours of non-stop work had the area pristine...looked like the mess had never been there! They literally dug stuff out, not just cut it off. Not a morsel of debris left behind. Cost was reasonable. I would highly recommend Epic to anyone having landscape needs!

Weve been long time Epic Lawn Care customers but I need to send major kudos to the Fall Cutbacks Team today. We lost a lot of limbs during the Helene storm (09/27/24). We probably lost a third of our canopy. We stacked and staged probably a third of our loss for the city to take away. We staged the remaining debris for a later time. Our initial debris was missed twice by the city despite having a request for pick up on file. When the Cutback team arrived today, I asked if they could help us out with clearing away the debris. They were quick to say yes and did a fantastic job with the extra debris in the backyard as well. We sincerely appreciate them making quick work of this job that would have taken us weeks to complete since we would have had to coordinate multiple pick ups with the city. Thank you Epic Lawn Care!

We recently bought a house in Lexington and the landscaping hadn t been well maintained, with weeds growing out of control and the mulch not put together very well, and a few dead bushes that were an eye sore. Epic Lawn Care came in and got everything cleaned up, looking nice and neat, and did so quickly and professionally. They also installed a demo lighting kit for free so that we could see how the front yard would look with professional lighting. Highly recommend these guys, professional, affordable, and quality work.

For several years Dave & his crew have done a terrific job mowing each week & not leaving a trace of evidence they were even here (besides a perfectly trimmed & edged lawn). Last year I got an estimate from Dave for trimming my many bushes & shrubs, weeding & mulching several beds. I figured I could do it for less...I was wrong! This year I had EPIC clean up, trim, weed & mulch. I had forgotten when they exactly would be at the house. When I came home from work this week, the transformation was amazing! Neighbors have commented on how great the yard looks and I get to enjoy not only how it looks but all the time I did NOT spend trimming, weeding & mulching. My lawn looks great! Winter had been rough on my lawn, and it was thin and full of weeds. The grass is thick and green now just halfway through the summer. I am very pleased.

Epic arrived with a truckload of mulch and several men. They weeded, edged, and spread mulch over our entire yard. They put the mulch down thick enough so there were no gaps or bald spots. The staff was very courteous and Wesley was easy to work with. The price was right.

I have filled out online forms *three times* on their website - once for serialized lawn treatments, once for weeding and mulching, and once for weekly mowing - and have received PROMPT (within 24 hours), DETAILED (describing exactly which part of my property would/wouldn t be covered and for which specific services), REASONABLE (highly competitive rates) responses. They also prioritize convenience (utilizing auto-pay for billing, rolling services over annually, communicating via the customer s preferred method) and every employee that I have personally interacted with has been extremely friendly - even when working in cold and rainy conditions! Any one of these examples would be far superior to my experiences with previous local lawn care companies, but Epic truly has exceeded my expectations again and again!

Stopped one of their trucks in our neighborhood bc our old lawn care company went out of business and they came straight to our house. Had the yard mowed and edged in 30 minutes. We ve been w/Epic for 2 years. Prior May 2019, we were w/another lawn business for several years, never seeing results like we see now. They aerate and over-seed in the fall and do their 7 step program starting in the spring. (also do their mosquito control which is reasonable and works!) These sound like big box kind of treatments, the norm, etc. But we have seen great results! Everyone in our neighborhood comments how beautiful our lawn is now (it s been a 5 year work in progress), everyday as they are taking walks, etc. And to top it off, David Miller (owner/manager at Epic) has always responded w/in 30 minutes (w/a very educated and yet user-friendly response) when I email him a question. We are delighted w/Epic! (they live up to their name!)

Epic Lawn Care was hired to provide mulch installation service at my home (7/5/21) on Bellefonte Drive in Lexington. I couldnt be more pleased with the job they did. Great care was shown toward existing property and plants. The workers professionalism, attitude, and tidiness were the best Ive experienced--with all this coming at a reasonable price, too. No doubt I will be calling on them again for future work.

These folks worked through rain on and off all day to make sure my yard was finished. They also offered to move a bunch of wood to hit some additional problem areas in my backyard. Extremely impressed and will definitely be using this company again.

Paid $1700.00 for shrub trimming, weeding flower beds, pre-emergent weed control and mulching flower beds. All looked good for about two weeks, then noticed a few weeds coming in. End of third week and noticed lots of weeds. Called office that day to have them address the issue. Spoke with Wesley and he agreed to come by and do what they can to take care of it. Much appreciated.

They do a terrific job on my yard except for between the road and the curb they forget to do the trimming there

Called Epic in August for power seeding and mulching for September. Power seeding was done in mid September and mulching last September as requested with no need for follow. Communicated a few days before they were to perform the work. Talked to them before and after to make sure we were on the same page. After mulching, we started our irrigation system and saw one of the nozzle spays heads was missing and water was flowing out unobstructed. After searching the mulch area with no luck finding the nozzle head, called Wesley and sent a picture. He immediately stopped by, looked at problem and ran to Lowes for a replacement. Much better service then most other companies I have dealt with recently. Will be using more of their services in the future.

Epic Lawn Care has aerated our lawn the past two years and they worked diligently to do a good job! We were so pleased with their work last year we asked Epic to take care of the job again. They have good customer service! Happy they were able to return this year.

Before we called EPIC there were so many mosquitoes in our yard I didnt want to take my son outside because I would spend the whole time trying to keep them at bay. After EPIC came and treated our yard we have loved being outside, havent seen a mosquito since! They were professional, prompt, and polite.

Epic was mowing my next door neighbor s yard and I asked if they could mow mines, due to my lawn needing mowing very bad and my regular guy had not come by for 2 weeks. They quickly agreed and did an excellent job! The guys were very courteous and professional. I m sure I will use them again in the future.

Epic does a really good job. Anytime I have not been fully satisfied they have come out next day to fix. I would highly suggest these guys for your lawn care needs.

These guys are the real deal. I called on a Sunday night and left a message. They were out first thing next morning for an estimate and mowing the following day. Im going to switch over fertilization services to Epic (from weed man) as well because they have been such a breeze to work with... not to mention their prices are a bit lower. Everything looks straight, green, and clean. Top-notch lawn service!

So let me start out by saying these guys are A++++. My friend had his own lawn care and he decided to move out west. Epic Lawn Care bought out his accounts and I had them come out and start mowing about 2 years now. They take care of my mosquito service and Lawn fertilization. My lawn has never looked as good as it does now. My wife even says wow they have even striped our grass. They are gonna do a aeration and over seeding service this season. I would recommend Epic Lawn Care if you want to have a nice looking lawn.

My yard looks incredible! Wes followed up with me within 24 hours with an estimate for my yard. The quote was reasonable (not the least expensive but definitely not the most expensive) in comparison to other service provider quotes. My estimate was detailed and I knew exactly what would be charged for each service. After receiving the estimate, I had a few questions which were answered quickly. I decided to hire them and I am glad I did. I wanted him to come sooner to start the job but Wes had other jobs that were already in the queue to be worked on that week. Wes let me know that he couldn t come until the following week. I appreciated that he didn t overpromise. He was straightforward with me on every question I had and I respect that he kept the schedule for the other customers and promises he made to them. He worked quickly and efficiently and was consistent in showing up until the job was completed. My yard is so beautiful now that Wes and Epic took care of my flower beds. I will definitely be calling them in the future.

Found Epic thanks to Nextdoor website and we were 100% satisfied with the mowing service and prices. They did a great job and didnt mow when grass didnt need to be mowed. Plus, we adopted a sweet 8yr old beagle this summer and the Epic mowers went above and beyond to help me wrangle her and avoid escape. They do their job and they blow away grass from driveway and patio, highly recommend them and plan to keep using them in the future.

My experience with Epic Lawn Care has been good and favorable. Dave is friendly and helpful and willing to assist however he can. The workers are attentive and leave the lawn clean and trim. The mulch, fertilization, and mowing are always timely with mowing done as needed.

I am writing this review after my experience with Epic. There was nothing epic about their service or communication. I originally wrote to them for an evaluation. Someone came when I was not at home and no one told me they were coming. I received an email regarding several services. After review I wrote back and wanted to have them do fertilization only. I had inquired about landscaping but did not ultimately ask for it. So one day I come home, again not being notified they would be there, to someone with mulch ready to do my landscaping without my approval. I did follow through after notifying them I had not approved that service. I had my first fertilization which did kill most of my weeds and a second one was done late July. I only knew this by seeing someone in my yard. Again, no notification. My yard is full of weeds. I followed up with an email and the one I got was that fertilization isnt a fix for everything and there are other options for me and told me three other companies I could contact and that their job isnt to kill all the weeds basically. They offered to do aeration for $200. They are an overpriced company with poor results, poor communication, try to do work you havent approved and zero notification when someone or if someone is coming. I felt talked down to and I felt zero good feelings that this is a family company helping neighbors which is portrayed on their website. Dont waste your money for this overpriced and poor service.

Epic has been doing our lawn for 4 years. They also do weed control and fertilize. Plus I have had them do mulching from time to time. The lawn is always trimmed and mowed as needed. I have not had any call back in the 4 years we have worked together. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional lawn service.

Ive used Epic Lawn Care for three years now for regular upkeep of my lawn and seasonal clean-up of flower beds. I decided to go with Epic over the bigger companies in town. Ive been pleased with my decision. Dave Millers prices are very reasonable and hes proven himself as a hard-working, honest, pleasant business owner. I also appreciate the Springtime newsletter he sends out to remind his customers when our services will pick back up again after the cold weather months. All I have to do is email him if I want to move the date out.
