We recently had Blake Brothers come out for a quote for a yard clean up. I e-mailed them and Brandon came out for a quote within 48 hours and they came out and completed the job within a week's time! Amazing! Everyone working with Blake Brothers I've met so far has been very courteous and extremely professional. You can tell they take a lot of pride in their services. It has only been this one time yard clean up including mowing, weed eating, and getting a ton of weeds out of beds and laying down more mulch but so far we're very satisfied. We'll be starting bi weekly lawn maintenance with them soon and am sure we'll get the same great service going forward. Some before and after photos attached, I highly recommend them based on my experience so far!
Brandon Blake and crew responded promptly when we had a tree fall on our house. They performed some very delicate work to remove tree without causing any further damage to our house, and outdoor fixtures and fences. Pricing was reasonable and work was excellent. Highly recommend!
Highly recommend Blake Brothers! Responded quickly and professionally to my request for an estimate to clean up 3 large garden beds. They then provided a detailed estimate, had great communication, and showed up when they said they would. They came prepared to work, and did a quality job. Overall, great service and would call on them again!

First of all the cost was competitive, they were well under other quotes we had from 4 other companies. This did not affect the quality of the work. We had a yard with terrible slopes for water run off as well as a county water easement running through the back of our property. They were patient with us while we fought the HOA and the county for approval of the grading and filling to ease the slope of our yard. They were even accommodating of us having to reschedule a month later while waiting for approval. Once approved they fit us into their busy end of summer schedule. They came out and busted out the grading and filling in about 8 hours. This included 6 trailer loads of dirt being filled into the yard. Initially we didn't want sod installed we were going to seed, Hurricane Ian had us change our plans. Rain washes away fresh dirt, and would have ruined the slope of our yard. Unable to get sod until the following week because of the storm they came out and put up landscapers silk and plastic sheets to protect our yard. Once the sod had arrived they showed up the next morning with a crew of four and busted out 14 pallets of sod in a day of work. We could not be happier with the outcome. It looks amazing and our dogs are going to love their new yard! Brandon and Mike were incredibly friendly and a joy to talk to. They answered all of our questions and made sure to coach us on care of our new sod. We will be sure to use them for any future projects and will recommend them to anyone looking for work.
Brandon (and his one man crew) was phenomenal! Please look at the pictures. My side yard was unusable due to water retention and lack of drainage. Brandon and his team re-sloped the area, put in a drainage line, dumped gravel, and created a wonderful, usable area that will not retain water and has added tremendous value to my property. I could not be happier! I highly recommend Blake Brothers Lawn Care and Landscaping. Not only were they professional and knowledgeable, but they transformed an eyesore of a yard into an oasis in 48 hours!

This team was great! Their prices were reasonable, their communication was perfect, they showed up when they said they would, and they cut down 4 big trees; two of which were hanging over our house and one was almost directly above our well. Blake Brothers recently did a tree removal at my home. I was super happy with how fast they got there had it down and hauled off. Communication was on point and the work was performed safely and precise. Will def be using them in the future!
I had an issue in my front and backyard where there was a puddles of standing water that would not dry out. Initially I thought it was because of all the rain weve been getting this year. When my fiancé and I went to add top soil and sand to the affected areas, thinking it was a grading problem, the puddles kept reforming on top of the freshly laid soil. We started looking around and noticed a gurgling spot in the front lawn, and had the city utilities come and check it out. They emphatically denied it could be a WeCo water pipe and implied that it was most likely a natural spring. We called Blake Brothers to discuss putting in a drain to move the water away from the foundation of our house, and when Sean came out, he looked at and immediately said thats not a spring. You need to call the water utility company back and demand they get out here to take a look. Long story short, Sean was absolutely right, it was a city issue. He told us how to handle the problem, had us send him pictures and keep us updated on the processes until the city came out and fixed their issue. He was incredibly helpful and professional, and ultimately, kind. Although he took time out of his day to come and look at our issue and follow up on it, he did not charge us. He was as concerned as we were about how destructive and expensive those issues can be and simply wanted to help us resolve our issue. Should we have landscaping needs again in the future, we will absolutely be calling Sean at Blake Brothers! Professional, kind, and not looking to rip you off. Thank you, Sean!
We had Blake Brothers do some modifications to our landscape irrigation system after we had a larger deck & additional planting areas installed. Once they came out, they discovered a more effective way to do the work, resulting in a cost much lower than the original estimate. Many companies would have never mentioned the lower cost. We found Blake Brothers to be very professional, personable and highly ethical. We will not hesitate to utilize them for any landscaping needs we may have in the future. Dont hesitate in using them at all - they are top notch!!
Good Customer Service
I m so excited for my lawn. I had irrigation, drainage, mulch and sod installed! Blake brothers did a great job with communication and informed me of the process. Any complications that arose they all handled professionally and they were all super nice! (Big deal to me). I will definitely use them again in the future if I need anything done! All the guys were knowledgeable and had no problem answering any questions I had! Thanks guys I no longer have a yard of nothing but dirt!
Blake Brothers did a great job grading and laying sod in our backyard, looks great! They were quick, tidy, and kept us informed during the process. Highly recommended these guys!
The Blake Brothers added topsoil and graded my yard to get it ready for sod, and they did a fantastic job. They are very knowledgable, professional, and hard-working, and they did the job for a fair price. They even came back the next day to make sure the job was done right and fixed a couple of issues to make sure it was good to go for the sod install. I would defintely not hesitate to call them again for other landcaping projects.

They have done work for me for two seasons. They have been extremely polite and communicative. They show up when they promise, or text ahead if something comes up. They work quickly but thoroughly and make adjustments if needed. They also are very economical while doing beautiful work.
Have used Joseph Chiles for two seasons and am most pleased with his work and being willing to add small landscape chores when asked. Their prices are competitive with others doing similar work in our neighborhood. I do recommend them.
Im a local private practicing dentist in Lexington, SC. I know how hard it is to advertise a small business with all of the corporate businesses taking down small businesses like a bad game of pac-man. I was referred to Blake Brothers by my mom who was heavily invested in their ambitious drive to take care of local lawns. I will say that Ive never had such a quick and swift response from any business and these kids truly care about how they can serve their clients. I strive for customer service in my industry - an industry in which corporate dentistry has blinded so many who only want a cheap price and care nothing about quality. These are great people who truly care about how they can make their clients happy and committed. Small businesses like these will never disappoint you. Forget the mailers from companies who you have no name attached to the business - I talk to Brandon regularly and if I ever ask for something to be taken care of differently we speak in person or hell text me. I have been extremely pleased with the work done by the Blake Brothers. I had another company contracted to do a large job for me. They left in the middle of the job and the front and back yard a mess. Payton and Brandon were very professional and helped me navigate through what had to be down to get my yards in order. They were very knowledgeable and gave me excellent advice. They were always polite and respectful and returned quickly when I decided to do something more. I will be using them for all my landscaping needs.

Great company, on time and completely professional. They gave the lowest quote by $1000. They did excellent job installing the sprinkler system, testing, and explaining workings for the control box. Would have no problem with hiring again if we move and need a sprinkler system. Highly recommend them for sprinkler installation, repair of any irrigation system. Brandon is very personable, hardworking and always has time to answer any questions during the installation or modification that you may want in placement of heads.
