I love how I m notified a couple days before service is due and I don t have to be available. The Specialist Seth and the other gentlemen (who completed my first treatment) explain everything and answer all my questions. This is my first year using TruGreen and I am very happy with the results. I have a stubborn patch in front and it s definitely improving. I receive a text when the Specialist arrives and one when the service is complete. Also the Specialist leaves a printed copy of service provided. Very professional, very knowledgeable and I love how my front lawn and backyard looks.

TruGreen does a great job for my property

TruGreen was scheduled to come Monday so I stayed home. They did not show and when called said they would be there Wednesday but never showed. They then said they would be there Thursday and finally showed. They sprayed my trees and schrubs for bugs and maybe it will work this time as they did the same thing about 2weeks ago.

Today, 06/2024, was a great visit from Jason. This was the first time meeting him in 6 months of service. Overall Im 75% satisfied with the service. For the cost, I still have weeds and dry/burn spots. Theres still nicer lawns in my neighborhood and I might ask the owners what service they use. I really expected a better looking lawn.

This is like our 4th year with TruGreen Mosquito control, and so far, only saw one! (I know, they are coming!). Each year, if we do get re-infested, TruGreen comes back and re-sprays. I have been very satisfied with their service, and recommend it to anyone that likes to enjoy their yard!

Trugreen does excellent lawn service.

TruGreen lawncare is doing well with treating my lawn this year. A previous provider did not do so well and my lawn suffered. The TruGreen techs are very professional and polite. They ring the doorbell and advise me that they are on my property. I have a locked gate and their branch records the combination so that they can access and treat my lawn. Im very pleased with TruGreen!

We were a customer of Scott s for several years. It was our understanding that they were bought by TruGreen. We ve had some of the worst customer experience with this company. They came out to our neighborhood and serviced the wrong house, charged us for it and then took us to collections after 60 days without any notification until we received the collection notice. We will no longer be using this company at all and recommend they get their financial affairs in order and better understand what customer service means.

Very professional and respectful answered all questions about my dogs walking on grass

Not impressed with this service and canceled it last fall. The yard never improved from the previous year. Followed some of the applications throughout the year. I bought a PH soil tester and found it to be incorrect. That doesnt happen over night. Slowly started treating the PH to bring it back into the correct range in January. Follow the guide below if youre having difficulties with your yard. Mr. Lemmon was the king of gardening back in the day.

If I could give zero stars I would. If you decide to go online and get some prices, be prepared for multiple unannounced visits that you did not ask for. TruGreen professionals will park around the corner and claim they were in the area. Very unprofessional in my opinion.

Tree and shrub care

Eric was very patient with an unexpected locked gate situation. Very understanding and kind, good guy!

I had a problem with the sprinkler system and called Trugreen. Robert, the technician explained the problem and had it resolved in a short time frame. Trugreen techs are highly trained and I would be the first to recommend them to everyone!

Today they were supposed to do a treatment on the lawn,but they never got out of their truc. Said they were done and drove off...never disturbing the dog who usually goes crazy barking k

Aeration was done only at the front yard

Good company! New to this particular service. Not sure why service SUMMARY says they knocked on my door to discuss service provided, as my cameras say otherwise. But, maybe that was a standard statement in summary... Positive

The service is worst. Account manger will hang up call on face. Please don t chose true green guys. Me and three neighbors going to cancel the services.

For this time of year and all rain we have had True Green was not completely up to snuff. However I called for a supervisor check of my lawn and they handled another service within a week. We have been using them for many years have been happy. So service wise they corrected the problem. We will stay with Truegreen!

Very hit and miss the treatments helped my abandon yard regain its green and many very fine employees have done a great and sometimes exemplary job. BUT, I ve also had a continued problem with spiny sandbur stickers. I ve brought it to attention with several techs, whom say they ve made note on the account of it. Don t know what to tell ya. Still a problem 5 years later. I also have unfortunately had 3 occasions where they ve needed to return and retreat because of areas of my yard left not done. The latest, I asked for a rep to call, and they did, stating someone would be out to look at what I stated was an issue. That was 10 days ago. I don t expect they will. So, I ll be cancelling any aeration jobs in the future. Mainly because this is the 2 time this has happened. Aeration only happens once a year, and I m 3 for 5 in it being done correctly. I give up. I ll hire a local company moving forward. So, there ya go the great, good and bad. I d say 80% of the time I m happy with the job done. But that s not a good percentage IMO for a company that only comes out 10 times a year. I m pondering termination of service. Next problem I have will probably trigger it. I think they have a great product, IF done correctly.

This is the second time in the last two visits where a service has been claimed to be complete and not done. In April it was claimed 16 lbs of granular spread on the lawn done within 5 minutes and within 1 hour miraculously evaporated (no signs of granules). The second visit claimed sulfur and grub control, all done in 6 minutes with a knock on the door which camera confirms no one ever came. Service receipt says 8:49am and I have camera of me checking where the. technician is at 8:47am, they were not at my property... As others have posted, its very clear to me personnel are thinking no one is home and just printing a receipt claiming service is complete when nothing was done. This is fraud and I will be cancelling.

Yesterday 05/11/2023 I terminated my Trugreen lawn services. They had completely destroyed my beautiful Saint Augustine lawn. TruGreens customer service is a failure!!! I had made 4 calls requesting a supervisor, Manager or Lawn expert to come to my property and look at my lawn because its been deteriorating since 08/25/2022 after a Trugreens lawn application. I did not receive a call from anyone regarding my requests until I threatened to cancel my subscription. TruGreen should be more attentive to their customers. I will include negative comments on TruGreens website, the Better Business Bureau, and the Department of Customer Affairs.

They came out 3/23 and treated our lawn. Four days later we hadn t seen much progress in the front yard and NOTHING in the backyard/side yard. It did rain the day they came out so maybe everything washed away. We called them back out and they came today 3/30. I was busy on a work call and didn t answer the door. Checking my cameras the guys pulled up at 9:56am, rang the doorbell at 10:00am, went to the truck at 10:02am and left a note on my door at 10:07am. The note stated they treated the yard and I needed to cut my grass. It also had other care instructions. I didn t recall seeing them in the backyard, my office faces the jungle of weeds. I also checked my cameras to be sure. The guys didn t treat ANYTHING, they simply rang the bell and left. Now maybe the motion detectors failed, but do you think they can treat everything in 10 minutes, ring my door bell, type up notes and drop them off???? My home is on a large lot for a subdivision. I have just over .3 acres and a pie shaped yard. I called the office and spoke to Raven. She was nice and apologized for the issues. She assured me someone would be back out and it would be a different crew but not till next week. Now I understand there is a schedule but these guys are not doing their job so they have the time to return. This is not how you take care of a customer who was lied to, especially when there is proof. I d gladly give them my video footage and pictures of the notes left on my door. How can I trust them in the future? I will be calling again tomorrow to cancel. ***Update*** changing from a 1 to 3 star When we called back they offered a discount to continue service and a supervisor called to apologize. I understand you can t control what employees do, I just hope they spoke with him and he understands this is not acceptable.

We ve used TrueGreen for weed control and fertilization of our green areas since 3 years ago. Technicians are so professional. I can do more enjoyable work in the yard since don t have to pull out evil weeds. What we pay isn t a lot versus time saving and chemicals that don t have to buy at the store because experienced technicians know when to treat and dosage of chemicals to use throughout out the seasonal year. Highly recommend TrueGreen. They re worth it!!!

A trugreen tech and after an argument on a right of way issue in my neighborhood cussed me in every way then used derogatory comments on my national origin and then gave me the finger.. and I have it all in video and pictures.. I will never use trugreen or recommend it just based on this techs behavior who was in uniform and driving a company truck.. Trugreen plz make sure you vet who represent you out in our neighborhoods

Our service has been lacking as of late. I have made two recent request for a specific technician to come out and the servicing technician was not who we requested. The reason why we ask for the specific person is she does a fantastic job covering and securing our yard. We feel like the other technicians do not provide the same level of service or care.

Moving from Lewisville to Denton, the service and level of Integrity from TruGreen has fallen off drastically. Two services in a row they have informed me of the work they did while at my property and when watching them on camera, most of it was not actually done. Today, they spent 4 minutes at my house and only fertilized the front yard for some reason, even though the gate was open. The service summary is pre-written and does not reflect what they actually did. Ive given them time to improve yet each service is a disappointment. I would look elsewhere if you live in the Denton area.

They come once a month to add fertilizers or other compounds to the lawn and SOME of the workers are very knowledgeable and willing to give advice over what else you could do to improve your lawn. However, be sure you get a sale price, as it can be expensive. My only complaints are the customer service and scheduling system need a lot of work. You never know when a specialist is coming until the morning of, and, while customer service does answer the phone right away, they are rarely of any help. The TruGreen app also has a lot of bugs for something the company keeps pushing us to use.

Its too bad they are this bad of a company because many of us would like to keep using them, but I cant. I have called three time trying to get my service corrected. Called the day of again before they came out and they still cant get it correct. Now I am trying to cancel the service and no one answers. Hello better business bureau.

TruGreen is unreliable and service is terrible. Yesterday, a service was scheduled and I was notified when the tech arrived and finished service at my property. Once the service was completed, I checked my security cameras and no TruGreen service technician ever arrived at the property and they charged me. I called the 800 number for a resolution and the service was rescheduled with no charge. The problem with TruGreen is you can t trust that the work has been fully completed. This is not the first time I ve had to call the 800 number for a resolution and after yesterday, I am done with this company and will cancel. There are other companies that will do the work far better than this operation.

everyone please be careful when choosing your lawn care. your actions affect the ecosystem that we live in. when you kill and poison the insects, you poison the birds and deplete their food and shelter sources as well. companies like TruGreen are not only harmful to our environment but also to our beautiful animal neighbors like squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, etc. our pets and our bodies are also affected. chemicals that they use have been proven to be harmful and toxic. the fact that trugreen continues to make claims that they are environmentally friendly and organic is just appalling. we unknowingly bought into these tactics and it just makes me sick to think about the consequences. i may be over sensitive but im so upset thinking about all of the snails, rolli pollies, spiders and other life in the yard that has been poisoned :-(

The lawn service provider arrived at 09:31, parked his truck in the front, loaded his push cart with some sulfur granules.. than literally ran thru the front yard to the back yard and around the side of the house and was back in his truck and leaving at 9:37. He literally covered my almost 9000 ft of yard in 4-5 minutes. Unfortunately, I went out to look for sulfur granules and found them in some parts of yard. I called TruGreen and talked to a rep from Tennessee and another in Florida and all they could do is reschedule another service in 3-4 days.. I will wait for my return service and see what happens.. Doesn t look good

If I could give zero stars I would. Did not end up going with them thankfully but the entire inquiry/price quoting process was shady and run very poorly. Their price quote was much higher than competitors and when I chose not to go with them, the phone representative became rude and hung up the phone. Awful company, awful reps, don t even recommend giving them your time to discuss pricing.

TruGreen damaged my house. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor and nobody called me back. Cancel Trugreen ASAP. I will.

Aside from not treating our entire yard, the grass on the alley side of the back fence is still part of our lawn, they claimed to have carried out a treatment when I never saw anyone all day. Given that I work from home with a front row view, I applaud the audacity but all in all Im simply not impressed.

3 day process: Day 1 - I had a rep initally share with me that they didnt do soil testing...(which is what I was initially asking for). Day 2 - Another rep calls me the next morning, and after I shared the information I received, they understood, confirmed and ended the call. Day 3 - ANOTHER rep called me yesterday morning, and after calling back and sharing the same information, he turns around and shares thats not true - that they DO provide soil testing! Well after I heard his response, I thought about giving them another try, but once he clarifies his position, the soil testing is provided under a package plan where the test, fertilize, and treat whatever the test results give. My response then was all I want was the soil testing and the results of that. His guarded response was that that is not possible because whatever the process is it primarily comes with the other things also. My response after that was, Ok, well I found someone else and may just contract with them (the other company). The TruGreen reps response, Well I thought you shared you needed the soil service. You dont have to lie, sir.... My response after being rudely accused of lying and not being able to get my words in, I ultimately told him to take me out of his system and dont call me no more! I really was trying to give this business a chance after the 3rd call (which shouldnt have happened in the 1st place after the 1st call). Whoever the 3rd rep was, he was rude and makes your whole business look very bad! It seem as if the company was too dismissive in the 1st call and didnt provide the clarity as the 2nd caller....then the 3rd call comes in so aggressive as if his way of conducting business is to condescend people. My experience with this company is trash and if they dont repair their customer service, they will be dismissed by many other people!

Great company to do business with. They are timely and always inform us of a treatment ahead of time.

A year ago, our yard was a complete mess with horrible weeds. TruGreen has turned that around with periodic treatments in a timely, scheduled manner. The employees have wonderful communication with me and show up on time for our treatments. Thank you.

Were told someone came and serviced our yard, yet cameras showed the guy only leaving a sign in the yard and leaving. Tried to schedule an appointment to meet with a service tech, and got an email canceling the appointment 20 min before the set time. Receptionist at the office was rude and unprofessional when we called to ask what was going on. Asked to cancel our service after being told several things that directly went against what were told the day before by Corp office when setting up our service. These guys are an embarrassment to deal with

I have used TruGreen since October 2018 and my lawn is healthy, green, weed free, and looks fabulous. I recommend them as the best in our area.

I should have looked at the reviews here before I booked service with them. I think all they do is lie that they serviced your entire lawn and then put some signs in your yard.
