Absolute waste of time. Wont return phone calls. Kept my equipment for 2 weeks without touching it. Had to call and ask them to just bring it back. Dropped it off with flat tire. Find someone who knows what theyre doing.
Had an issue with grass not growing in my back yard for years. Was afraid I needed loads and loads of dirt to start over with a new yard. Chris and Mark from Lakeway came out and said that my Ph levels needed to be changed. To achieve this, they would put around 500 lbs of lime on the yard. I was impressed by their knowledge and how courteous and easy it was to talk with them. I also needed a drain in my yard cleared and a small deck off my garage rebuilt to better standards. All work was accomplished in 2 days' time. I would definitely call them for future projects at my home.
I couldn’t be happier with Lakeway mower service. It’s nice to find a small engine repair shop that I feel like I can trust. They had my lawn vac running great the same day and very honest about the problem( just a carb adjustment). I would give them 6 stars if I could.
We are very pleased with the deck and screen porch. Courteous, professional and responsive to change requests and follow up. Cannot say enough good things about Chris and his team.

This company's outside sales rep (Phil) sells their lawn care services as perfect and that no one complains. Well that is quite amusing to put it nicely. You cant count of them to consistently mow your yard without calling and reminding them every time they forgot to come out which is very often. They will throw grass in your natural areas and not think anything about it. They claim they blow after mowing and pick up any sticks that are in yard each time and that is also hilarious because its never done. They do none of what they say they do. Only thing they (two teenagers with no adult) do is mow extremely fast and then they leave. The grass is mowed so fast that there areas sticking up taller that other parts all over the yard when they are done. i could go on and on and on but i wont. i think you get the picture. The ONLY thing good that they have going for them is their inside help (Miranda)! She has been and still is excellent to deal with but unfortunately she cant make the mowers do their job as sold. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY if you want even a halfway decent job done.
IF I could give this company less than 1 star I would. I had them pick my John Deere mower up to fix a bad carburetor. Upon drop off and a $342.65 charge I started the mower to begin mowing. White smoke began billowing from the motor and mower would not stay running. I immediately called them. They came to pick up and called and said they couldn't find any issue...brought back to my house. The drop off guys couldn't get it to start, (at this point you would think "Hey, this is the issue the client was talking about...") Nope, they PUSHED the mower to the side of the house and left it and said they would ask the mechanic. I again, called back...as I have paid for a repair and have a further disrepair than I started with. They said they would come that day to pick up...a week passes. I call again and they come pick up the mower. Once the mower is returned for drop off, I was told the battery was dead due to them trying to start it so much and notice the belt is HANGING OFF the deck. I said guys...you have got to be kidding me. I at this point supplied them with a new belt and said please return my mower immediately. The office manager Tari calls and in the rudest way possible tells me they are tired of doing free work and they are done upon drop off and HANGS UP ON ME. Mind you, not once has my voice raised or said a single disrespectful word. I am asking for the original repair to be corrected only. Here's the kicker, the mower is dropped off to me...I make one pass on the yard and it cuts off with the same white smoke. I notice the grass isn't cutting also and park it. The new belt wasn't put on right and is now hanging off, damaged. I CAUTION YOU AS A LOCAL BUSINESS SHOPPER...GO TO THE NEXT COMPANY ON YOUR LIST OF PEOPLE TO CALL. I'VE NEVER SEEN A LESS DESERVING COMPANY IN MY ENTIRE CAREER IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.
The proposal looked fine but showing up without notice, removing bushes but not filling holes, planting bushes with no soil consideration (some only inches deep), no warranty even after a comment of "we'll take care of you," then... 50% of my new plants are dead or dying and I'm back to square one.
I took my push mower that wouldnt start in for a carburetor and the mower was returned in good working order, looking clean and like new!
this is the 3rd job they done for us and it has been great every time.....good group of guys to work with
We ve had our lawn mowed with Lakeway for a while and we recently had some landscaping done as well. Amazing service and quick response time! We will continue to use Lakeway for our lawn care needs!
I took my Snapper in for a minor repair and was impressed with the promptness of the service all around -- the admin side, the loading and unloading, and the service work itself. Id recommend Lakeway.
Was supposed to repair a leaking porch roof. I provided a lot of the materials, but didn t help with the price. Leak still leaking. According to 2 other contractors it was not repaired properly. Entire project cost $8500, workers only there 4-5 hours a day. Did not clean up nails in yard. One example of incompetence was hook and eye closure put on outside of the 3 doors. Just one of many mistakes. I am now having to pay $4700 to have the he roof redone.

They never showed up for the appointment that they scheduled to quote my work. I took off work early to meet them and they didnt show up. Then they called an hour after the appointment time to reschedule! I wont be using them.

Chris and Tari are excellent communicators with clients and real estate management companies. Chris trains his employees to be responsive to customer needs while performing tasks in sometimes adverse weather conditions. Their work is manually intensive at times, because I watched them clear much of my property. Thank you again, Lakeway.
Lakeway Landscaping does regular mowing for us. I asked the owner if they could hang some shutters we ordered. They arrived when communicated and not only hung the shutters, but also added additional value by sharing that hardware that came with the shutters was going to cause some issues. New hardware was purchased and the shutters were hung still on the same day as planned.
Mower serviced every year. Free pickup and delivery when advertised. Great service. They have also mowed my office for years. Professional and personalized service. Chris is great.

Ladies and Gentleman, If I could give this business less than one star I would. Please note Lakeway Repair and Lake way Landscape are one in the same. I simply took in a self propel lawnmower at the request of my friends at Forsyth Mower for a basic service and they returned a mower to me that will now not run. I have had another Clemmons repair shop look at the mower and they fixed it and all is well. Lakeway wanted to suck more money out of me when I told them they brought me a mower that will not pull. Works great now , but not because of Lakeway. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your small engine repairs.
I have been using Lakeway Landscaping for my gardening needs for over 12 years. They have an office, so they are readily available to be contacted during the work-week. When I need additional helpers in my garden, they are very responsive to my requests, and the helpers are energetic and hard working. Thank you Lakeway!

TL;DR - Asked for a quote on getting some landscaping done in my yard, and they couldnt even bother to give me a price. Their mower repair service installed the wrong parts on my mower, adjusted it WAY too rich, and couldnt tell me why my string trimmer wouldnt start. Overall inept. Asked for a quote to get several low spots in my yard filled in with fill dirt, and some guidance on what to plant where. Mike came out to look over the job and told me hed get me a quote. Never heard back from him, and couldnt get in touch with him. If he didnt want the work, he shouldve told me instead of stringing me along!! I paid to have a broken Kolher engineer replaced with a Briggs & Stratton. When they serviced the mower late winter, they installed all Kolher parts DESPITE there being B&S logos ALL over the engine. Then they asked the carb, and now it sucks down twice as much has as it had, smells terrible, and will backfire. I realize dont think they have a clue what theyre doing. I even brought my string trimmer to them twice, because it wouldnt start for me. They took it both times, and called me back a few days later to tell me there was nothing wrong with it at all. And yet, it still wont start for me. I dont think they did a thing to it, but they still too my money!! Both times. I will never use them again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. Mediocre service at best, at not really cheap prices.
I have depended on Chris and Lakeway to do the landscaping and take care of the weekly mantanence of my yard for years. I have been more than pleased with the service as well as the expert yard design and water management work they have done. Highly recommend.
If you need a professional lawn care company that has employees that respect your home, family, and lawn then this company is NOT for you. If you want someone that will take their time with your lawn and do the little things and show they care and not rush the job then this company is NOT for you. If you need a lawn care company that will come to your home and just do the bare minimum (mow, aerate, fertilize) then this company is for you. They send out a crew that just bangs it out and then leaves without checking with the owners. You would think, for a speedy & low quality service they would be really cheap. Nope. Unfortunately, they are more expensive that a lot of the other companies in the area. You would be better served by just asking some neighbor kid to do it for you for twenty bucks. Would be similar quality. I never met the owner. He sent a crew over to my house and they did not recognize a freshly seeded area which was muddy from watering and drove right through it. Really messed it up after I spent months preparing it. They promised to come back and fix it and never did. I had to fix it myself. They barely aerated the other parts of my lawn and we had to have them come back and do it again. Luckily, they did come back, but it still wasnt very good. The crew was smoking while running the equipment across my lawn. Remember, I was a new customer and this was the first impression. I was not impressed. The owner actually has great communication via email and text, but I still would not recommend this company for your lawn care needs. Ever.
