A rep left a bag on our porch with a leaf from front tree stating our properties trees and shrubs were diseased. We believed them signed up and charge 419.01. The actual team that treats them said we were swindled and didnt need the service our trees were FINE. Now they promised to refund the 419.01 and having to open case with credit card company as they chose a different amount. Unbelievable the company would be so unethical and untruthful.

ZERO STARS Two weeks ago aTrue Green tech was in the process of spraying chemicals on our front lawn. **We do not use chemicals on our lawn- never have, never will. I care too much about pollinators and mother earth.** My husband went outside, told him to stop, and asked him what he was doing. It turns out that the tech had the wrong address- NOT EVEN THE RIGHT STREET!! Needless to say, I was livid. I called the company immediately to file a complaint. The tech had left a receipt on our door with his name, his supervisors name, and their license number. I asked for a return call so that we could verify where exactly our yard was treated. I have yet to receive a call from the company.

I was very pleased with visit today. He took his time and did an excellent job, thank you! Very satisfied customer!

This is first year using a lawn service for lawn treatments. Initial visit and treatment met all expectations.

5 star rating was for todays tech, Callan V. He was friendly and thorough in his application of shrub and bush insect deterrent. If all techs were like Callan and Matthew, all would be good. Sadly, that s not been my experience. Now I have to REALLY inspect for granules and tire marks in the grass because of past issues. So far this year, going better.

Been a customer with them since 2017 but honestly Im done with them and cancelled my service today. They are outright scammers now that do not provide the service they claim they do! Their worker was at my house for less than 10 minutes and walked one circle around the house with their spreader and jumped back in his truck and left me a bill for $73 for spreading 14lbs of fertilizer. You can buy a 20+lb bag of fertilizer at any store for less than half that price.

Putting terrific effort on behalf of keeping my lawn green I m impressed of it a whole lot.

Buyer beware! We cancelled the service three times now and they keep sending a technician out. Not sure what else we can do to completely stop the service but this is completely unprofessional.

Not happy at all with trugreen. Billed for service I did not receive, trugreen has CANCELLED on several occasions. Call trugreen to get credit Rep Mercedes said couldnt issue credit, because lawn service would take place today, 4/17/23 told her I want my bill to reflect date of service rendered. Ask for supervisor claims had to submit request I have been customer for at least 5 years, not happy at all!

Tru Green is pretty reliable in terms of fertilization and application of weed control, good scheduling....However, the weed control does not work, it does not kill any of the weeds in my lawn.

I was having issues with the service - not seeing the results I wanted this summer. I put in a call to customer service and within 48 hours, Tristan was applying the free service and visited with me to understand my concerns. Thank you for the responsiveness!

Their prices are reasonable, their products do a good job on your lawn, they provide a wide range of services and, most importantly, they do all they can, at your local office and the national office, to make sure youre happy as a customer. And each time Ive had the technician I had today, Lenardo, hes been thorough, knowledgeable and friendly. Good job.

For your information: At 3:19 pm, 10-11-23, I lost my TV, Internet, and phone services. Apparently, my internet cable must have been severed during the aeration process. Will be without cable services until Friday afternoon. Don t think I ll do any lawn aeration in the future

When we signed up, we signed up for our entire yard, front back and sides. We paid extra for overseeding and aeration. Time after time the technicians would either do only the front, or would show up and put the tag on our door and leave without doing any service. The last one didnt even show up at all. They did send someone out to redo the treatment and the aeration of the back yard, but nothing was done concerning the experience up until that point. One of the technicians did say that they were terminating technicians that they found doing such practices, but it makes me wonder how much of our money was wasted and how many other people thought they were getting a service that they did not. I think a discount on future services would be an appropriate response to make up for the money we actually spent. Granted, the times we did call them when our service wasnt completed or only partially completed they would reschedule someone to come out, but it makes me wonder how many times it happened that we did not catch.

This 5-star rating is for today s technician only, not for TruGreen in general. Hopefully he will continue to service our lot, moving forward. We ve had a few good technicians previously, but we primarily experience TruGreen technicians who are lazy, robotic & untrustworthy. Today s tech, however, was the opposite MW was thorough, polite, detailed, demonstrated a caring old-school work ethic, and was overall exceptionally respectful & professional. Thanks for the good work, MW. Appreciate you.

There was two services dates that they never showed up or called ,,and billed me for them,,,,,on another service showed up to seed yard and the temp dropped BELOW freezing the next two nights,, whiched killed the seeds.TRYED many times to call in and request speaking to manager and still no return call ,,another service date tech showed up was here for two minutes and left, was supposed to get lawn feed ,,never happened,,,still waiting for call but not holding breath,,very disappointed in the service, and I am canceling service for good ,,

I would give them zero stars if I could. I called to have someone come out to review and discuss improving my lawn. They arrived before the appointment and applied a bunch of chemicals to my lawn without my approval and then charged me for the service and left. Never stopped at the door, never called me, never texted nothing. I NEVER agreed to the chemical application. In addition I found out the agent I first talked to pre scheduled me for a year of service without my approval. Their customer service when calling to resolve this was absolutely awful. Rude, condescending and generally seemed like they could care less. Total scam, highly unethical. Avoid this place like the plague.

Im very pleased with the results Im seeing on my lawn! Im currently on application #2 of 6 of the TruMaintenance Lawn Plan I purchased. The results are already visible. Richard W the TruGreen Technician did a fantastic job of servicing my property. I asked a few questions regarding the upcoming treatments and he was very knowledgeable, courteous & professional. Great Job! Keep up the excellent service!

Professional service, effective methods, and reasonable prices.

I filled out an online form for a quote through Tru Green. The annual cost was $667 dollars. A representative called me shortly thereafter and gave me a quote for $823 for the same services. I asked her why the price increase and she hesitated and told me that the square footage was different somehow, raising my supposed property size by 50%. I was at the beginning of the quote process through a few companies so I let her know that I would call back if I wanted to proceed. Over the last day and a half Ive had THREE MORE phone calls. Each time Ive told the associate Ive already been helped but to stop calling me and take me off their list. I just received another and let the caller know that Ive already been contacted multiple times, Ive asked to not be called, and that now due to the harassment I will not be using TruGreen, regardless of the price or quality. I would never recommend even giving them your contact information.

I have used Tru Green for several years, my lawn is the best looking lawn in my neighborhood. They have always responded to my requests for follow up service. I m very happy with Tru Green and highly recommend them.

Pushy and presumptive. They decided we were their customer until we cancelled their service like the cable company, despite us having a one year contract with a different Company, due to their having bought that Company mid Summer last year. Last year after taking over for tht other Company they paid little attention to the condition of our lawn and have said that it was our responsibility to have monitored the lawn and tell them what needed done. So, they call themselves a lawn service , maintain they can bill for this service indefinately without a negotiated contract, but when questioned about the Service part, indicated they just apply lawn care products per the home owners request. And their prices were excessively high. So we switched to a local Company which has better rates.

Service has gone WAY downhill this season! They need to get their act together or theyre going to lose a 20+ yr customer!!!

Suddenly I saw one truck outside and a guy spraying something in our lawn and within 2 to 3 minutes he was done. I am not sure if he even really did something. Did not even inform us that he is there to do the maintenance. This is the first time we are getting this service as a new customer. Service details says they sprayed for 2000 sq.ft but I dont think the lawn is 2000 sq.ft and why is that you are saying in the details that you serviced 2000 sq.ft. which is not correct. The guy was in express speed and did everything in couple of minutes. I have to wait and see the results to know what he really did. Fingers crossed.

Awesome Customer Service!!!

My lawn at the end of 2020 fall was patchy under the canopies of my lilac bush. I raised it with TruGreen to fix it as part of overseeding and the supervisor (Greg Cooper) did an excellent job in marking the same in the notes and sent a crew to do heavy seeding and also advised to sign up early in the season for a full lawn weed control to avoid weed growth. My lawn now looks much thicker and greener. I will recommend TruGreen any day for its service.

Every time there is a problem with Truegreen in Pataskala area, Ohio , the problem with This time is someone from trugreen in Pataskala area came on Saturday without informing me, and killed all my seedlings in my vegetables garden.

We have been using their service for last one and a half year. Till now we have seen them very professional.

Never used such a horrible services before. Even after there few treatments my lawn has pretty good amount of weeds and when I call them and ask for help they scheduled it multiple times and no one showed up, in fact no one is doing even the regular service which I paid for they will cancel it at the last moment saying some odd reasons and when I called them last time and complaint, they said a manger will call and discuss the concerns and it s been a weeks now I never received any call from anyone and not even the regular service. I never saw such an unprofessional service provider anywhere.

After having this company for over 15yrs the services have gotten so ridiculous I had to stop the services. The customer service is awful. They do not value their customers. They feel that they can do what ever they want to do after asking them to check with me before performing services. The company has gone to the Dogs! Very Sad !

The lawn looks good, they just had a problem following instructions when I only wanted one application at a time. If the guy decided you needed this also, he would apply 2 applications & that bill is over $100. Some people wouldnt mind but if u are on a tight budget, one application at time is sufficient.

I had called ahead of my Annual Aeration and Seeding service date to inform TruGreen that my lawn had recently been graded and to avoid aerating the area that had been impacted. The (2) professional lawn service team members ignored the instructions and tore up thousands of dollars worth of grading and seeding materials. I spent 25 minutes (21 minutes on hold/silent) to be informed by the customer service rep that a General Manager was not available and the customer servive rep put a message in my file to be contacted. Turn around contact time is within 48 hours. POOR SERVICE!!! I have been a client for years and I am extremely disappointed. The unprofessional manner in which my lawn was cared for is UNACCEPTABLE.

Lawn professionalism at its finest

What an excellent employee!! On Saturday I went to WillowBrook Christian Home to visit our 90 year old mother, and was overwhelmed by the wonderful work and care one of your employees, Kenny Greer, had completed. The grounds at WillowBrook Christian Home were beautiful and well marked. But Kenny had not only done his job beautifully; but he is a man with a heart of gold to take the time while working to brighten our Mother s day ! In October our father passed away and our mother has been in serious depression & grieving her husband of 69 years. Then this pandemic swept the Willowbrook Christian home. Four residents have died, 18 employees got sick, and our mother was isolated grieving in her apartment for the last six weeks by herself. The poor weather has kept us from visiting her at the window. On Saturday as Mom sat sadly by her WillowBrook window, Kenny stopped by her window and talked with her. It made her day and she has talked about nothing else, but the fine young man Kenny who took 5 minutes of his time to make a huge difference in her life! Lots of rave reviews & positive comments for this young man! What a great example and employee for TruGreen he is! His demeanor was unbelievable! I appreciate Kenny so much! Please rave about him, give him plaudits, a raise, whatever to make him feel special!! Really, I have all of you at TruGreen to thank for our experience & for hiring men like Kenny who not only do an excellent job with their commercial services; but also are aware of the importance of caring for people. I will remember this event with our mother for the rest of my life. Kenny is a blessing & a gift beyond gifts to your TruGreen professions! Thank you. Sincerely, Janet

Lewis Center, OH. Absolutely terrible. Everything youd expect from a large company with poor customer service. Never showed up without me having to call them, and when you call you get a call center and not even the local franchise. My advice, for what its worth, give your hard earned money to someone local who answers their own phone and who cares about their customers.

I contracted for a certain amount and when I got my billing they charged me double. I called the office and they lady on the phone kept talking over me and said well, we added grub protection blah blah blah. I asked for a manager and no one is available. When I told her how angry I am about it she hung up on me.

Terrible! They didnt listen to my wish to only have one section of my lawn treated, and they sprayed my entire lawn. I called and complained, and no one ever bothered to call me back. Dont use them.

DO NOT USE TruGreen. You will get better results doing a simple seeding yourself. I purchased the full year service plan with aeration for my entire yard. Front, Sides, and Back. The sales and customer service team is completely disorganized and does not provide proper communication to their lawn technicians. The workers notes on what to do on my yard are wrong every time they show up to my house. I am lucky to be working from home because I am able to stop them from doing something I never asked, or have them actually perform the work I paid for. This is the 4th time I have had to call the customer service phone number and every time I am assured the notes are fixed, and every time, they are not. The sales team acts as though they are your Liaison and Problem Solver however, they just cold call you to add on services. When it is time for a real problem to be solved, no serious action is taken. I will NEVER use TruGreen again after this years service is over. You are better off treating your yard on your own!

I started using Trugreen shortly after building my house 18 years ago. I have a beautiful lawn! Only complaint is that the grass grows fast and luscious. Have to mow often

Awesome job by my yard tech. Gives specific details of what kind of application was applied on yard in a packet placed on front door handle. When I m at home, yard technician is very approachable. Has great knowledge and makes suggestions on how to give the extra attention during hot and dry season of summer.

My tree died after their sprayed

This review is based on the promise of restoring my lawn this spring. The True Green technician that serviced my lawn in May of 2018 sprayed something that killed large patches of grass on my side and backyard. Before then my yard has always been lush thick and green because of their service. They are promising to provide extra care to restore it this spring. I will hold them to this promise but even with a couple of reseeding attempts through the past year and some free treatments it only seems to be getting worse. I believe that Tru Green Takes pride in their service and will get my yard back to how its been for the past 20 years, a yard that I was proud to show off

Despite my best efforts to cancel the shrub service, they came out and treated them. Now Im on the hook for $75.00 for a service I didnt want. The app is useless, and their customer service leaves much to be desired.

I wont speak to their service because I dont have it, but I just had a driver of a Tru Green truck threaten me while I was driving by. Apparantly he didnt like how close I got to him.... Interesting since HE was sticking out into traffic. WORSE is when you try to talk to someone about it and all you get is the call center. Not impressed and will never give you my business

TruGreen (Johnstown, OH) has been an outstanding service for me. Cayleb (my tech) is engaging, friendly and takes time to explain what is going on, what he is using and asks if there are any trouble spots. The portal and web app are great additions to check when the next service is as well. Ive called a few times last year for spot-treatments which come as a part of the package... Highly recommended....

Absolute complete waste of every penny I spent and I am trying to fight to get my money back. My lawn literally got exponentially worse over the last year to the point where half of it is dead and the other half is nothing but weeds. The absolute worst service I have ever had on any level. They are a complete JOKE!

Also I have been trying to talk to them over a month. I have yet to talk to someone about what I saw.

They put a chemical in my yard that burn it. I called about it 6-7 times and said that a manager was going to call me and never did. All they want is to sell more services but not to resolve the damage they did to my lawn.

Had their lawn care service for a year. No change in the state of my lawn. Weeds still came up, grass wasn t any thicker, color didn t get any better. At least with Scott s the year prior, there was some small noticeable differences. I cancelled my service at the end of the following Winter. Customer support never actually closed my account and I had to call again to get my service removed. Now I am constantly receiving calls from them despite expressing no interest and telling them to remove me from their call list numerous times. Would never use them again and would highly recommend someone lookin for lawn care to save money and do it themselves, or at least choose a different company.

Had my yard fertilized today and I saw that there was hardly any granules on the yard so I checked my camera system and the technician just went around the edges of the yard didnt even fertilized the middle! So the middle of my yard on all four corners is not fertilized! Last year one of my neighbors said they didnt even fertilize their yard and put a bill on their door! Unbelievable! I so wish we had Scotts Lawn still I had no issues with Scott in 9 years!

The worst people to ever get in contact with. Customer service is bad and would rate it less that one star. And people working there are disrespectful. When I just asked for the price they started talking back with disrespect. I wouldn t recommend this to anyone, and if there is a lower rating to give I WOULD NOT HESITATE.

By far, the WORST company to deal with on any level at any time for anything. Repeated calls, repeated solicitations after being told repeatedly to not call or up sell on anything. Sales Manager John Horner lacks professionalism and ethics along with Production Manager Jeremy Walker. Save yourself a ton of time and headache and avoid TruGreen as a whole.

Used them 3 years ago for 1 year without results. Switched to another company and had almost instant green and growth. Now they WON T STOP calling me despite being asked MULTIPLE TIMES to STOP! Avoid at all costs!!!

I have always viewed TruGreen as the best lawn care in our area but They did not show me that. We paid TruGreen (Worthington oh area) top dollar for lawn treatment to improve health of our lawn at end of winter between Feb and August, and our lawn is now destroyed. We did this because they advertise lawn experts on staff who will come out and diagnosis lawn issues like fungus, weeds, etc, who will prevent them/improve appearance and health of lawn; a service that sounds wonderful but one we did not experience. Our lawn got worse and worse through the two seasons and they continued to say they would fix their mistakes and send specialists out, but same useless treatments applied and we were billed for each of them...no one Ever came out who demonstrated any evidence of advanced knowledge in lawn maintenance, or which resulted in improvement of lawn, which kept getting worse and worse. My neighbors yards are healthy green up to our property line, then in our yard, grass is brown with huge patches of grass missing. During service we Experienced employee errors, misdiagnosis of lawn issues, and mistreatment of lawn with chemicals that have severely damaged it, and worse, have not seen any money refunded for services and promises not delivered. Their lawn cutting/trimming services may be a better experience, but for lawn health they don t have the answers, but they won t admit that and will take your money nonetheless. They have no interest in making sure we were satisfied either. :(

Horrible customer service, the manager at the Lewis Center location won t return my calls. Also, I don t think they treated my entire yard the last treatment. The service guy arrived for the last service and told me that he did not have enough product to treat all the weeds in my yard, as he had used alot of weed treatment that day and weeds are really bad in the area. He said that he would come back in the middle of next week. I then left for work and my wife said the service guy was at our house for 5 mins after I left. She then found a receipt on the front door that said our yard was treated. There is no way he could treat a 1/2 acre in 5 mins. He never showed back up and I left 2 voice messages with the manager and no call back. I also have more weeds now than before they started treating my yard.

Had service with Truegreen for a year, and the yard is still thin and full of weeds. Little improvement if any.

Terrible service. They were not doing their job with weed. When we complaint, they came and destroyed our grass. Please do not use their service. They are interested in selling new products but not doing their job for the service they already got the money. Really bad customer service too, hung up phone on me. Our lawn is in really bad shape after their one year of service.

TrueGreen needs to address issues. Observed tech placing invoice on door without servicing the lawn multiple times. Local management slow to respond at first and then stop returning calls. After talking to neighbors - they had the same issues- charging for service not performed. Calls to TrueGreen corporate office never returned. If you use TrueGreen- make sure your home for every service visit and ensure they actually treat your lawn/bushes. Another thing they do is call a day after the visit and tell you the tech noticed you need an additional service to treat an issue not included in your plan. I ask them how the tech noticed that issue when she did not actually treat the lawn - just left the invoice. They are just trying to upsell.

True green likes to over promise and under deliver. I had the service for over a year and the quality of my lawn never improved. I was told the package I purchased would take care of the crabgrass and clover I was dealing with in my lawn. After being unhappy and having a manager come out and look at my lawn he told me I needed to purchase an additional service to take care of the issues my lawn had and told me I wasnt watering my lawn enough. I started watering my lawn regularly to the specifications they gave me and bought the additional service and still saw no improvement to the amount of crabgrass and clover in my yard. When I asked them to come and look at it again they told me that I still wasnt doing my part as the homeowner to take care of my yard!?!?! What more than water and cut the lawn do they expect from the homeowner? I paid them a lot of money and was never happy with the service they provided. They were supposed to contact me when they were coming to spray my yard and never did. The one thing they were successful in is taking my money and killing over $200 dollars worth of new landscaping by over spraying the weed killing chemicals into my flowerbeds and on my shrubs.

Been a very long time customer and any time Ive had a complaint, which was very FEW times, they responded quickly and resolved the issue. The gentleman that currently services my yard is a true caring individual. He is very dedicated and concerned that my yard looks the best at all times.

I have had nothing but bad service from this Trugreen. It started with the very first applications and continued up to yesterday. 4 total applications and the first 2 out of sequence with aeration and overseeding then with weed and feed 2 weeks later? I still have bare spots in my yard.... Then the first application (done 3/30) this spring was done poorly where you could literally see where they treated my yard and where they didnt. Upon calling them that I wasnt happy they told me they couldnt get back into my area for 2 weeks (scheduled visit 4/28). They show up and the young man that showed up was surprised that it was a 2nd visit with all the weeds in my yard. I told him it was to be a re-service to fix the problem from the first visit. He then told me it showed me as a scheduled service. I should have known then this would be a red flag moment again, but I let him do his thing. So I notice this morning that they charged me for what was supposed to be a visit to fix the first visit. I called in there and they told me it was time for my 2nd application and so they decided in MY best interest it would be okay to skip fixing the mess up on the first visit and just move on. So in 30 days I have spent $120 for this..... At no point in my conversation with them this morning did they offer to refund my money for this 2nd application. I feel like they had an opportunity to keep me as a paying customer by just doing as I ask, since I am the paying customer, but they decided to do their own thing. That is bad business if you ask me. I will shop around and find someone that will do the job as directed and not do as they please without the customers knowledge. Couldnt help but cancelling my service after just 4 visits. Thanks for wasting my time and money Trugreen!!

I somehow got more weeds after the applications... worst service ever

I prepaid for the entire year for my service. Customer service has been horrible as well as response to lawn care issues. There was even a time they were a no show when scheduled. Managers dont return calls when requested and the only contact you have is with the customer service representative that answers the phone. I will never prepay again and after 9 years will most likely be discontinuing my service. Please look elsewhere for lawn care needs.

Very poor quality services. Unfortunately i signed up with them. Their agent named Shawn came to my home 4-5 times. Finally i signed up. Very worst decision i made this year. They are unable to fix the weeds from grass. Today, we pull the weeds out with hands. It was hard to pull it out. But we had no option left. We paid them but nothing return to us. Our grass is kentucky bluegrass. Our grass looked like dead, weedy. Our neighborhood lawns are green and without weed. But our........ Now they bought Scott lawn. I have to look something else for next year.

terrible service and after 7 months of treatment, it looks worse than in March before you started. we have more violets, crabgrass and trumpet vines than we have ever had in our lawn. we have been with your company for at least a decade, and stopped a couple of times because you were so bad, but each time you wooed us back with promises of better services and breaks on prices - neither of those happened. the tech even told me the one time i was able to see that he was here, when i asked him specifically to kill the violets - he said that you dont guarantee violets because theyre really hard to kill! well, if it was easy, wed have done it ourselves. i also checked the BBB website and 12 out of 12 reviews were Negative! (thats like 100%). we are really done this time - no more chances, and if you do try to woo us back, you should probably brace yourselves for some ear-bleeding language.

I had called the TruGreen office to ask a few specific questions in between lawn treatments and, since I was not home at the time of my next treatment, my lawn specialist personally called me on my cell phone upon arrival to my house to discuss and answer my questions.

Trugreen burned my lawn -- after complaining they came and treated again which helped, but not enough -- nearly a month later its still very brown despite abundant rain resulting in the need to cut the lawn 3x per week. When I asked for a refund for the bad treatment they refused. When I offered to stay and take another treatment they reversed position and offered the credit and another fix-it treatment. I decided it best to pay the cancel tax and be free and clear -- not worth the cost.

the service guys are professional and ask us how we feel about the needs of the yard. i especially like that i can call at any time and have someone out to fix an issue of something that was missed or came up since the applications

If I could give Trugreen zero stars, I would. They were coming door to door in our neighborhood and I was paying for an organic company at the time. They sold me this huge bill of goods and convinced me to switch promising it would cost me less money. I was told the first lawn treatment would be 29.99, that was the special they were running. I ended up being charged almost $100 for the first lawn treatment! When I called, they explained they also did a grub treatment, which I did not want because the other company I originally had did a grub treatment prior to me switching to Trugreen. When the door to door guy came, he assured me I would not get the grub treatment at all and they would contact me prior to each visit. I was refunded my money, however, I was billed two days prior to leaving for vacation, so $100 of our vacation money was now gone and was not refunded for 11 days. Which means I was not refunded until our family returned from vacation, which was extremely frustrating. They convinced me to keep the service even though I was livid and wanted to cancel immediately. The very next treatment they did not contact me prior to coming, even though they brag that that is something different about their service. I was dog sitting at the time and babysitting so the dogs had to stay in the backyard. I spoke to the technician and he actually chuckled when I told him I never received a phone call, saying, yeah, I get that a lot. He was very nice and told me it was no problem to reschedule. He left and that was it. Until a week later when I was BILLED FOR SERVICES THAT WERE NEVER RENDERED. They billed me for the day the technician came out and I rescheduled with him! On top of that, I was told the service would be cheaper than my other, organic company, and it ended up being over $10 more than my other service! When I called, again, to get my $65 back the first thing that I was told was that she could have a technician out today to service my lawn since I paid for it but my lawn was never treated. Or that I could be refunded but it could take close to 10 business days, so its better to just have a tech come out to do the service. Um, no, thanks. Im good. Your company is shady and unethical. Id probably end up being billed a third time, since your motto seems to be get as much money from our customers as possible. Ill stick to my local, organic company from now on.

Overall, pretty satisfied with my lawn but the back yard near the fence has thistles growing that I have mentioned before that I would like to see them sprayed or whatever to get them out but I don t believe anything has ever been done since I brought it up. But I will say that the rest of my yard looks very good.

We contracted with a competing lawn care company at the beginning of this years season (2010) and True Green showed up to do the service anyway. We told them we had another service who had already treated our shrubs. I do not know what damage a double treatment would do. Now they have been harassing us for payment saying that when we originally contracted with them we agreed to service every year without warning. We did not agree to this. They have now turned us over to collection and we have vowed to never do business with them again.

We cut a deal with the guy who does our lawn at the beginning of the 2010 season for a lower rate, and he cut the service from six applications to four. We are still being billed at the higher 2009 rate; now we are getting collection calls. This is the worst lawn service weve ever used and I regret the day we renewed our contract with this service. Despite calls to the company and promises to fix our billing, the only calls we get from these losers are calls trying to collect $$ we do not owe or trying to schedule service we never signed up for. A woman called yet again tonight for $18 overdue (yeah, right), and my husband complained bitterly about lack of return calls regarding sub-par service, incorrect billing, etc. NEVER AGAIN with these people. Their website promises, *Money back guarantee - If for some reason, youre not completely satisfied with the TruGreen® lawn care service solution; well come back free of charge to get the job done or reimburse your last service by refund or credit. Their word is useless.
