Caleb and his team did an amazing job turning our backyard mess into a backyard oasis. They also transformed the front entry from somthing not very welcoming into amazing curb appeal. All of his team members were reliable and respectful. I highly recommend using Third Space.
Working with Third Space was a wonderful experience from start to finish! I had design plans for an entire lawn project and met with Caleb to review plans. He was very informative and gave suggestions to improve design catered specifically to our family's needs. After a tough home remodel , I interviewed many landscapers and was very hesitant to start another big project, but Caleb was very patient and answered all my questions. He gave a clear timeline, clear costs and his team delivered! Third Space has a great team that was consistent, respectful, and hard working all day everyday. Santiago and Francisco showed up everyday with a hello and smile and worked really hard to create a beautiful result. The installation of the sprinklers was quite the challenge with many old tree roots that existed in the lawn and in order to keep the timeline stayed late to keep things on track. Everyone on the team worked tirelessly to get the best final result. I highly recommend Third Space. It was a pleasure working with this company. We have received so many compliments on our landscaping thanks to Third Space!
The owner, Caleb Kangas, is creative with designs that are esthetically pleasing while solving problems. The whole team is courteous, efficient, and timely. We had a great experience and are happy to serve as a reference. Also, the I general contractor working inside the home was so impressed with the work, cleanliness, courteousness, and quality that he made a point to share it with us and ask for the contact information to be able yo give to clients.
Caleb and his team were amazing from initial design all the way through completion of the project. Communication was great and everyone on the job was extremely professional. The work site was always cleaned up at the end of the day and we were kept up to date on what to expect and when. Caleb and his crew from Third Space Design are hands down best people to work with in KC. We received about 10 quotes for a 100 foot retaining wall and I'll be honest, their price was the most expensive, but having completed the job with them, I can 100% say the price was worth it. First, their quote is detailed and comprehensive-you know what you are getting. Second, when you see the crew, equipment, and precision of their craftmanship, the cost is more than fair. Caleb took the time to explain the process and the guarantee before they started. He even came out 3 different times when we kept changing our mind about what we wanted. He was so patient with our questions. He worked with our neighbor to ensure she knew what the work process would look like as they needed to be on her property as well. He called the city to ensure we weren't violating any codes. He reached out right away to let us know they spilled a little glue on our steps rather than trying to cover it up and hide it. I trust him. Every day on the job, Caleb and he crew checked in, gave us updates, and left the work area clean. Looking at the finished product, it is clear that quality of their work is impeccable. If you want a contractor who shows up on time, communicates, and puts out a great product - Caleb is your guy! Third Space is comprised of an honest, reliable, and hard working crew and I've already recommended them to my friends. We will be using them again to install a driveway and outdoor kitchen in the future and I can't say enough positive things about Third Space.
Caleb was very knowledgeable about filling in a large area that was a mess. We called it the pit. It is no longer a pit. He gave us ideas of how we can transform our backyard and will be hiring his company for other projects. Jose is his foreman and was very professional in answering my questions. They were going to take 3 days but got done in 2. So very pleased.
We recently had Caleb and his crew do a whole backyard / patio renovation including tearing out an old deck, slab of concrete and portion of our driveway to transform it into an outdoor kitchen with new deck, pavers and retaining wall. Caleb was amazing at communicating status each day and his teams work was efficient, quality and faster then we expected. Caleb and his team have made a major improvement to the space, fixed water drainage issues and we are incredibly happy with the result!

We had a sprinkler system installed and Caleb and team did a great job. The Rachio app that controls the system is awesome, so you can manage the watering of your lawn easily and by using just the right amount of water. Highly recommend these guys !!

We absolutely loved working with Caleb and his team. Not only do we love the transformation to our backyard space, it was an easy process working with them. They communicated and followed through on everything promised. With the supply chain issues some things were delayed but that isn t in their control and I appreciated that Caleb provided regular updates on timing. We will be using them again for future projects.

Caleb and his great crew installed retaining wall and extra steps in our backyard to handle erosion issues. He drew up plans for us that we really liked. Wall and steps turned out as nice as it looked on the design. His crew was prompt, friendly, detail oriented and all able to answer questions. Highly recommend Third Space! We also had Third Space come back to replace our deck and deck steps with composite material. Needed to get all the wood rot replaced. Turned out great and deck much sturdier now and much better looking. Look forward to not having to paint the deck anymore. Another fantastic job, just like our prior project.
Caleb and the team at Dynamic Earth were wonderful to work with from start to finish. They installed artificial turf and a patio with a fire pit in what seemed like record time. It is tough to find contractors who do what they say, when they say they will do it who dont charge an arm and a leg. Dynamic was super responsive and got the job done right and on schedule. Oh, and the bid was the same as the bill. No mystery $200 of extra costs. Call Caleb if you want the job done right the first time.
Caleb was great! My wall was repaired and the drainage in my yard fixed in a professional manner and finished product was better than I expected! He and his crew were able to salvage and reuse my original stone saving me thousands of dollars, much appreciated!!

We were required to install a permeable paver patio due to our city restrictions. Caleb and his team did an outstanding and super job! They were very dependable! They did an excellent job installing the pavers. It was a little more expensive but as you can see during the snow ...it doesn t stick and flows to the ground!!! Also, I was a little disappointed in that the fireplace I had chosen, could not be installed due to Covid shipping times. We had already started the patio install and we had to move forward with this fireplace. I am just OK with this look but would have preferred the other one that I selected. I wish I d known that upfront. But overall they did a great job!!!! I highly highly recommend this company. PS... I have to tell you that I had spoken with another company that I saw working near the plaza close to my condo. This man shot me a price but we were concerned with his follow-through. I am so grateful that I chose Caleb and Dynamic earth. As I drive by the previous contractors job site It is still just sitting there Nothing has happened in six months. I feel sorry for people that get taken like that. I guarantee you Caleb will not take you down that road

Caleb and his crew, Carlos and Jose, just completed a small planting and shrub replacement project for us around the patio and perimeter of our house. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Their friendliness, professionalism, punctuality, and knowledge were tip-top. They were willing to make small changes and adaptations on-site as we laid out the plantings. They worked quickly and neatly, going above and beyond to please. I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend them for any lawn task, no matter the size!

Caleb and his team are amazing! From the first time I met Caleb, I knew he would be the best person for the job I wanted done. And let me tell you from the time he and his team set foot on my property they had my comfort and best interests in mind. I ve had several large companies do work for me and have always had small problems afterward. Not the case with Dynamic Earth. After my back yard was finished it was ready to use and nobody would even guess it had been put in the day before. Their trash was picked up and zero tracks in the yard from his employees or his machines. It just looked like someone picked up a perfect entertainers backyard and placed it there lovingly. You really can t go wrong with this company. I will never use anyone else.
EDITED REVIEW-- owner called and reduced fee and made it right. I just got a bill for $619.00 for trimming 2 bushes.
Caleb and his crew did an excellent job for me at a rental house. They installed a timber wall in the front yard to keep the terrace from sliding into the street with all this rain. It was a great experience from start to finish and I certainly recommend Caleb and Dynamic Earth Lawn and Landscape.

Excellent work! We had them remove koi ponds, install a large flagstone patio with a retaining wall and custom lighting, landscape around a pool, and install a new fence. Dedicated to quality construction and the workers are all very friendly. Would definitely recommend Dynamic Earth!

For five years I lived with a poorly landscaped back yard: Water ran down hill into my yard in the spring and shade did not let grass grow in the summer. Then Caleb came into my life. He built the yard up in areas, establishing a brick patio, created a rock path that directed the water and added planting that make it a pleasure to sit around on a summer evening. Thank You Caleb

Customer for 6+ years. Caleb and his team have done mowing, chemical applications, and a variety of other projects for me over the years. They do excellent work. They are here when they say they will be here and they get the job done. Caleb does a great job managing the project from the beginning and setting exceptions and keeping them. Will continue using them for years to come.
