Celso came out to give me a quote on some major landscaping. We had all of the grass (front and back) dug out and new sod put down. They cut down 2 trees and trimmed about 4 more. I don’t even know how many bushes they ripped out plus ivy that was growing along our garage (including poison ivy!). The crew was very respectful and hard working! Their price could not be beat! Originally we were just going to have them get rid of the old stuff and wait to plant new until next year but the price Celso gave us for new shrubbery/flowers and mulch once again could not be beat! They did an amazing job of planting the new stuff and gave us advice on how to make sure our sod didn’t die. I will use them again in the future for spring clean up or any other landscaping needs we may have! You can’t go wrong with Serrano!!! A family business and they truly care about their customers-highly recommend!!!

Marcos came out to quote pavers to add a parking pad next to our garage. He originally quoted $2,400 and we said good to go and scheduled for 3 weeks out. He came back the following day for something else and mentioned he missed an entire area and it was going to be more. He became unresponsive when we tried to confirm and then said he got us mixed up with someone else and moved it out another week and we said fine. Based off the pricing he provided it would have been $1,100 more and we knew that. 3 days before he was supposed to start the job he sends a new quote for $4,000. When we asked why so much because it should be $3,500 and he said he ‘forgot’ about the new paver pricing and ‘forgot’ to add moving the fence (which we had discussed the initial visit) and then again ‘forgot’ it was a parking space and tried to say my husband told him a patio - which was never the case. It was a complete bait and switch. And when we asked him to honor what he quoted plus the $1,100 for the area he missed he said he would only do the job if we agreed to the $4k and that he has plenty of work so he doesn’t need this job if we don’t want to pay that much. DO NOT believe what quote he gives, because he will make you wait, then up the price and refuse to start if you don’t agree to the new price he gives. We said no thanks we’ll go elsewhere.

They cut the ground covering plants.

I would give this company no star if Google allowed me to do that. One day after the landscapers from this company worked on our backyard, the double pane glass of the patio door of my home was found to be split in a star-like form, starting from one spot near the ground. It was certain that the glass was hit by some object lifted by a mower or trimmer. However, they refused to compensate for the damage because, they said, it couldn't be proved that they did it. Most of the time, those people do the landscaping around when the inhabitants are not at home. How likely can a damage be found when or immediately after it is being caused. Serrano Landscaping is anything but honest.

We just had our backyard re-graded and landscaped. Serrano landscaping did a meticulous job. One of the owners was there during the entire 3 day project. It was a big job and it turned out great!
