King's Landscape Design in Lemont

I live in the Darien Devonshire subdivision on Knottingham Circle. I wanted to let the owner/boss know that his employee “Sergio” was an absolute LIFESAVER! My husband’s tire had a flat & he had to Uber to work, so I was changing the flat on his vehicle & the jack I was using wasn’t tall enough (wasn’t raising the vehicle high enough) to get the spare tire on. On Tuesday, January 9, 2024 around 11:30 P.M. King’s Landscape was here plowing, snow blowing, & shoveling our driveways. Sergio saw me changing the flat in the wet snow covered driveway & he pulled over, got off his standing snowplow, & came to the rescue!! Had Sergio not stopped to offer a helping hand, I would’ve never gotten that spare tire on by myself. I’ve lived in this subdivision since the summer of 2020, which was also the same year that our association hired King’s to be our Landscaper’s. Since that time, all of King’s Landscapers have always been hard working, awesome at what they do, & an absolute pleasure to have around (especially Sergio). Sergio truly went above & beyond & I am forever grateful for the generosity he showed me on late Tuesday evening.

Over the last 20 years, we've tried numerous grass cutting, lawn maintenance and lawn & garden maintenance companies. King's is by far the best! They are responsive and their crews are professional and detailed-oriented. Our lawn and gardens have never looked better.

Mark King and his team did an awesome job converting our backyard into a children's wonderland. Initially the work was done while we were out of town and we came back to a not so good execution of the work we had discussed. I emailed Mark with my concerns and he and his team were at our house early the next morning to make things right. It wasn't that they didn't do great work- it was just a miscommunication as a result of his landscape architects being out of the office (due to the pandemic) so his team did not have a clean plan to work from. What I really loved about Mark is we worked together to right the situation and in a few days the backyard was just as I had envisioned it. When mistakes happen, and they usually do, as we are humans, this is when you see the true character of a company. Thank you Mark for being a man who follows through and does awesome work! You should hire Kings Landscaping because they will get the job done right and on time! And if a mistake gets made- Mark will correct it. The play areas are great during this pandemic. In addition to creating fun areas for the kids, Mark's team cleaned and rerouted all our gutter drains. Now when it rains, the grass is not soggy as the water is properly drained. We finally have a dry lawn!

King' landscaping helped us with our landscaping in Hinsdale. Very professional, and they know what they are doing. Highly recommended.

We had them do a mulch job but they never finished the employees were very mean to me and my family too. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND. Do a poor job overall.
