Daniel (Blue Sky project manager) and the onsite workers completed the retaining wall replacement and landscaped two areas in the front yard of my home. The entire project took approximately 4 weeks overall. They were professional, arrived on-time, and were upfront about pricing. Daniel kept me up-to-date on the progress and any issues with starting the project. Overall, I would recommend them for any landscaping work that they provide and look forward to using them again in the future.

I must say I am very happy with the results of the work done at my home. I love the new stone steps off my kitchen and garage, and the reset slate walkway in the front looks better than when it was originally installed years ago. The crew did a very meticulous job; I was especially impressed with foreman Jeff Pierce. He was very methodical in his approach to the design and problem solving, as well. So impressed that you took care of replacing some rotting wood behind my original step and correcting what could have become a bigger problem over time. Thanks again to all of you for a job well done!

Daniel was extremely professional and responsive - which should be all you need to know in todays marketplace. But Blue Sky was also competitively priced. Suffice it to say, we are already in conversation with them (again) for additional landscape design and installation.

I was extremely pleased with the professional and beautiful work performed by the Blue Sky team. The new patio they installed has completely transformed the appearance of this part of the property. The team installed permeable pavers, providing rapid drainage of rainwater near the house. Over the past month, the patio has performed precisely as promised. The team was extremely responsive to our persnickety design requests and they solved several seemingly intractable installation issues with ease. The patio came out much better than I was expecting. The installation team exhibited first rate craftsmanship and they were respectful and quiet. If I could give more than 5 stars, then I would.

I have been using Blue Sky for 3 or 4 years now and they are phenomenal. I had used multiple firms before finding Blue Sky and they have been amazing. Everyone from Kate and Iliana at the office .to Jeff who does irrigation to Luis and his team who were here this week removing trees and installing others everyone has been friendly, professional, courteous, and careful. Blue Sky Landscaping recently completed an extensive landscaping project for us, including lots of hardscape, and planting many new flower beds. The quality of their work was exceptional. They did not flinch at anything we suggested. However, the best thing about Blue Sky was their professional customer service and responsiveness. They responded and completed everything we asked without hesitation. Their customer service, especially account manager Daniel Stotler, is the best I have ever encountered!!

We used Blue Sky to create some flower beds, install drainage/erosion control, replace large stepping stones, and install rock/mulch bordering in our backyard and they did a great job! From start to finish, they were easily to work with, very responsive and always willing to listen to our thoughts and concerns during the project. We plan to use them again for some additional work to improve grass in our yard later this Spring.

Blue Sky did an amazing job on our front walkway. They took their time and did things right and paid attention to the little details. The end result exceeded our expectations. We also had some trees planted as a natural privacy screen. The trees were big and healthy and look great.

I have been using Bluesky for a number of years now since my back issues would no allow me to do this kind of work myself. Bluesky was highly referred in many sites. I have been very happy with their services. At first I just used them for mowing, but over time I have used them also for fertilizer, weed control, planting fall grass and leaf clean up. I had been using True Green for fertilizing but found that their products were not working well. For instance, when TG applied crabgrass control I found this aggressive weed growing around the areas where the sidewalk and grass meet. Bluesky claimed their products were better, even though they were the same chemicals. I have to admit the difference is remarkable! My lawn is more healthy and has a rich green color that lasts throughout the entire season - even hot summers. I also do not have to buy seed every year where bare spots always to develop since using their fertilizing / seeding program. Every time I have contacted them they have responded the next business day. Over the past 2 years I have had them plant 250 bulbs. This spring my yard was full of 500 flowers that stood out to the 1000s of cars that drive past my house, which is on the main street for Herndon. I have had many people ask if they could take a picture of the yard with these flowers. I highly recommend Bluesky for all types of yard work. Their prices are vary reasonable and in-line with other similar services. Even though I miss doing this work myself I must admit they do a better job than I did. I have recommended their business to many people over the years. Give them a try. I think you will be pleased.

Blue Sky Landscaping installed all new landscaping in our front yard and it is perfect! Jim, the installers and the office staff were all so accommodating and professional the whole project was a breeze. Jim worked closely with us to get just the right plantings and achieve the look we wanted. We have and will continue to recommend Blue Sky for any landscaping projects or service.

The team from Blue Sky arrived this morning to put down mulch. I went out to get my morning paper, and was greeted by them as they began their work. When they finished, the team leader knocked on the the door and asked whether I was pleased with the results. I was more than pleased. It was a gorgeous job. I called Blue Sky in person to let them know how pleased I was. Truth is, every Blue Sky job done has had this kind of excellent quality. I love this business and would recommend them to anyone!!

I found Blue Sky in Washington Checkbook, and selected them because they have the ability to perform a variety of jobs - masonry, drainage, stump grinding, etc. Several different crews came on different days and every single person was polite and professional. The Blue Sky guys were did my fall landscaping of beds, mulch and trimming. They did a fantastic job. Our place looks super!

Scheduled a basic spring cleanup of our yard. Needed a bunch of weeds and debris removed and needed the flower beds/garden boundaries reestablished. I had to wait for almost a month, but okay, I get it. Tis the season. ON THE DAY OF MY SCHEDULED SERVICE, half way through the day, they called me to tell me they would have to reschedule it. I had taken the day off work to be present. Needless to say, I was annoyed. For my day of lost work and for my inconvenience, I simply asked for a discount or for a couple hours free labor to spread mulch that I had already purchased. I was denied either. No one made any effort to make any type of amends. They couldve offered me 10% off and I wouldve been happy. Instead, I will do the work myself and find another company when next I need landscaping services.

I recently had posted a negative review in which I and removing because of the incredible customer service I received. Not only are we completely satisfied, Ben and his team worked effortlessly to repair, reconfigure and go the extra mile to make our water feature extremely beautiful. They are top notch and trying their best to please many people during a very difficult rainy season. Thank you again Ben and everyone involved.

I called this company asking for a simple lawn cutting service for a large yard. They quoted me 150.00 for the one time service. i agreed to that and ask for 1 more cutting as I was moving out of the house. Without notification they charged my credit card 575.00. I called the company to find out why and they said I requested weeding of the flower beds also. I did not. I called back and spoke with Kate who said we discussed this which is completely not true. I cancelled all services with this deceptive company. Beware of this company, they are not an honest company to deal with!

Based on a recommendation from a friend we hired Blue Sky to maintain our lawn. Their office staff (Kate and Connie) are great... however their ground staff are the worst. They just come and sit in the vehicle in front of your house and bill you for services that they never performed. Despite multiple phone calls and providing evidence that the work was not performed they stick with hand waving arguments rather than resolving the issues. Avoid this company at all costs.

Ive been a happy customer for 10years. Great service and polite staff, I highly recommend Blue Sky!

During the recent snowstorm they came and plowed only one lane and have not returned for two days to complete it. This caused residents to have to shovel more than needed and create snow piles which cased them to not want to do any more plowing still leaving only one lane and not enough room for cars to get out 3 days after it finished snowing. If they had retuned sooner to finish plowing this could have been avoided. I would not recomend them for any HOA contracts.
