I recently employed Blake Landscapes Inc in order to trim my trees. This company was an absolute pleasure to work with, and it did a fantastic job. Blake and its employees were all very friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, and totally professional. I think that the thing which impressed me most was the fact that Blake management and workers went way beyond the mere minimum in order to ensure that everything was beautifully done. I am not exaggerating when I say that they left my property in far better shape than they found it. I was thoroughly satisfied with Blake, and I intend to use it for all of my future landscaping needs.
Blake is always reliable, competitively priced and most importantly, on-time! Tom is easy to work with and has great ideas on LS design. They do great work, and I would 100% recommend them.

I have had a good experience with Blake Landscaping so far with my lawn. They do a great job and are very flexible with scheduling; for example it was easier for me to switch from a weekly to a bi-weekly schedule and vice versa. They were willing to cut my lawn shorter or a bit long on my request. I will highly recommend them.
Blake has been providing me lawn service for over ten years. Their crews work hard and the price is always reasonable. They are a lot of more expensive options out there, but Blake does a great job at a great price. Tom Tyler, residential accounts, is very responsive.
Great service at a great price! I had several quotes from smaller, "independent" lawn care and landscaping providers and was in complete shock at either the lack of response or the very expensive quotes I was receiving just to take care of some basic yard maintenance. My neighbor uses Blake, so I gave them a shot and wow! Immediately responsive, highly professional, and quoted a far lower price than any of the independent people. Two days later and they had my yard looking pristine. 100% recommend!
Blake Landscaping was able to recover my lawn when other companies failed. It’s been 6 years and with the annual maintenance plan it still looks amazing! Very easy to work with and always on-time and great prices.

Always very, very, very, happy with Blake; ...part of our family since 2008 and never have considered other landscaping expertise. Quality work, great communication, absolutely like clock-work/dependable every week, every season. Billing always accurate and very easy to manage on-line. Everyone EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL and attentive to detail. Blake does such a wonderful job with the topiaries, grass/edging, and special misc. here and there. Very fortunate to have Tom Tyler, Edwin, Kristy, and all the team on our side.

Not sure if all these negative comments are from competitors? These guys are GREAT! I have been using Blake for the past 7 years and I can not praise them highly enough. Their crews spend an entire day at my place and when I get home from work it looks AMAZING. They clean up all the debris, trim, edge, mulch and even prune! All at an AMAZING price... Give Tom Tyler a call, you will not regret your decision.
This is a truly thorough landscaping team. And yet, they are tons faster than other landscape companies that I ve used over the 17 years I have lived on Eagle Point Square. I reside in the home at the end of the street where it dead ends and where the slope becomes quickly steep - and why kids sled on it in the winter. And they do good work on that difficult hill - an important part of their mowing.
We could not be more pleased with the work Blake performed at our home. We were impressed with everything: the design, implementation, communication and follow-up. Blake not only provided landscaping services but also served as project manager for a new driveway, flagstone walkway and front porch facelift. Additional work included solving a drainage problem and installing a stone path in our back yard. We trusted them with a major project and are thrilled with the beautiful results. Our neighborhood uses Blake and they consistently do not use the safety shields on their mowers. A window at our house was broken because their mower threw a rock at the house. Rocks hitting our house happened multiple times. The company says the right stuff but the workers in the field dont use the shields.
We have used Blake Landscapes for many years now for mowing, mulching, Spring and Fall clean-up, and landscaping as needed. Their prices are very reasonable and they do a great job. Their crews are knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions or addressing our needs.

Unfortunately this company SEVERELY DAMAGED THE entire community lawn at Raspberry Falls in Leesburg, Va. We are a beautiful and quiet golf course subdivision and Blake Landscaping does the maintenance. Sadly, 3 weeks ago all lawn areas (except private properties) turned yellow (burned)) and HORRIBLE. The community was so disappointed and angry. I personally called and one of the owners Jay (sounds like an elderly gentleman) was RUDE when l mentioned that l would like to know what they would do to remediate the situation and if he could tell me details when the lawn would be green, he asked so angry are you questioning me ? So l answered no Sr, l would like to know details about when can we expect to see the lawn green again . He just said in 4-6 weeks and did not want to go further in the conversation. He mentioned they would start to work the lawn the same day l called (May 9th) but l saw Blake s workers 3 days later. If he had been humble and apologetic THINGS WOULD FEEL DIFFERENT. I heard this gentleman angry and at an offensive fashion. Check the pictures. We are waiting 6 weeks max to see the community with GREEN lawn. Counting back 5 .
Unfortunately, the Raspberry Falls incident is not an isolated one. A majority of the common space grass in Virginia Oaks has also been burnt to a crisp. Also areas that were routinely cared for have been neglected. I expect more out of a professional landscape company.
Maybe teach your workers not to blow dirt, mulch, and rocks in peoples open windows. Even when asked multiple times (and in multiple languages) to STOP, they continued; my dinning room, my bedroom, my patio covered in debris that was blown into my home. Thanks.

Always show up on time. Great quality of work. I do wish the online payment system was a bit easier to see current balance, autopay etc. But other than that the work is top notch. Have already recommended these guys to friends and neighbors.

Terrible blocking of the box in Tysons. Completely boxed in traffic through one light cycle. Their truck driver blocked an entire side of traffic from going through an entire light. Took a picture because it was so egregious. Rude and not community oriented, clearly. Can t speak to their landscaping, but if they landscape anything like they drive holy smokes.
We love Blake Landscaping! The two crews we have had so far have been so good at what they do. They shape the plants so beautifully and I am very particular about those things, it was why we waited so long to hire someone, I had witnessed too many of my neighbors get their yard hacked. But they dont and then do those finishing touches that make such a difference. Would highly recommend!

For What its worth; I requested a detailed proposal for work to be done at a local restaurant. Rather than do so, or ignore the email altogether, I get a single word response with a quote of $5000. When I ask again for it in my format, the same response but $6000. This was extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend wasting your time with a company like this.
they come at extremely early times and wake the whole neighborhood up. Theyve come over 3 times this week... how much grass do they need to cut? Also they spend about 6-8 just cutting grass in one spot. very annoying.
