The Difference Landscapes in Lee

Sent in an inquiry for a job and the first response was to let me know they have a minimum $1500 charge and as long as I was ok with that, we could proceed. I m sure the work was going to cost me much more than that, however, that comment just causes me to speculate. First impressions matter.

The staff works very hard and are very courteous and friendly! Our lawn looks great and the back retention basin looks great! Thank you for all you do.

The Difference Landscapes has transformed our yard!

The Difference Landscapes does an amazing job with everything they do. Their lawn care is excellent, their landscaping services are wonderful and the people working for them are meticulous, friendly and kind.

They provided a full service maintenance program for my lawn that was very effective. My lawn looks great. They communicated well about appointments and the operator was very helpful in explaining what was being applied. They came on time, and were clean and efficient. I have been using their service for my lawn maintenance for several years and they continue to provide excellent service. They are readily available to answer my questions, and were helpful in providing information about the safety of their products with respect to my birds. ( they are safe)

I have used the The Difference for many years to help with lawn care and the irrigation system at my home. They just finished the spring clean up at my house. My yard was a real mess following winter. The crew did a fantastic job cleaning it up, edging mulch beds and mowing. Now my lawn looks like a velvet carpet. The crew is meticulous, attentive and friendly. My yard is the best looking one on the street!

Highly recommend The Difference as they did an an outstanding job on our new pool retaining wall. Ian, Gary & James were extremely polite, professional, and exercised great care when operating equipment in our backyard. They kept us updated on the project and answered/explained any questions we had. We have used the company for multiple projects and have not been disappointed at all!

We contracted with The Difference Landscapes for a large landscaping project at our home and from the initial contact, the experience exceeded our expectations! Ian was our contact and was extremely responsive, helpful, and was great about communicating with us along the way. He provided helpful insight and recommendations on how to achieve our desired results. The project was completed in the timeframe stated, it was on budget, and the end result was exactly what we were looking for! Ryan, was the on-site contact and even went above and beyond by correcting a few drainage issues that were outside the scope of the project. We will use The Difference Landscapes again for future projects and we definitely recommend them!

Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience with these guys. If it would have only happened one time, then I never would have written a review. But it was over period of about 3-4 weeks. We had a big project planned and, after all the preliminary discussion and agreed-upon projects, they began. It wasnt long before we could tell that they werent doing what we agreed upon. In fact, on the pool surround, they literally left half the pool un-mulched. Who would do that? If they were confused on the direction of the project, why not ask me about it? Leaving the pool area half-mulched was extremely unprofessional in my opinion. To add insult to injury, when they were mowing the lawn, they kept mowing over my hoses with no regrets. After the third garden hose was cut, I called them on it. Not only did they not apologize or offer to pay for a replacement, but they had the arrogance to tell me that their mowers dont have the time to get off their equipment to coil up garden hoses. Seriously? For their prices? In my opinion, being responsible is part of the job. Their lack of class and responsibility forced me to fire them. Sadly I cannot, in good conscious, recommend them.

I have used Make a Difference Landscaping for the past couple of years for yard clean-up, the building of granite steps, and lawn maintenance. I have been more than satisfied with the work that has been done in the past. I am over the moon with the spring yard clean-up this year that was done by Ravyn and Drew. They transformed the yard with their diligence and care. Thank you for your professionalism.

Hired Make a Difference Landscaping to line the driveway and parking area with 3/4 stone as well as around the house. The two individuals showed up first thing in the morning and worked diligently throughout the day in spite of the 90+ degree temperature. The job was completed in one day and the results were excellent. The stone work compliments the rest of the landscaping in our yard. Very satisfied.

Our homeowners association got a few bids for grading and putting down some stone on our dirt road going to our RV lot, and a bid for some additional landscaping. The dirt road work is complete, and we couldnt be happier with the result. Greg and Mike were very professional and very quick in coming out for bids and getting them to us promptly. In addition, Nancy, the Office manager, is a pleasure to work with and an asset to the company. Its so nice to work with a company that has such a great staff and crew!

I hired this company to gravel my driveway. They were very quick, the job took them only 3 hrs. The end result fixed the problems with my driveway and prevented possible damage to cars coming to the house. Their estimate was reasonable and well worth the job that was done. I will definitely use them again for yard landscaping and driveway maintenance.

We are very happy with the improvement we have seen in our lawn in the first year of service. We look forward to further improvement in the next year. Our neighbors all complimented us on our beautiful lawn this year.

The 5 star was for work done on time per our specification and for the quality of work and good result. Greg and his team worked hard on my commercial property. Always returned my phone calls and did a great job on the breakdown for the bid of this commercial landscaping property.

Raven did a fantastic job with our bed maintenance/weeding. She was very friendly, professional, timely, and did an impressive job. Beth in the office is always receptive, pleasant, and attentive to making sure the job gets done well. The grass cutting crew (sorry I forgot names) takes pride in their work of cutting our 4 acres. It is nice to come home from work to see our beautifully maintained landscape. Thank you for a great job and all of your help!

Both staff were hardworking, responsive and were here early and stayed late to finish. In my opinion, they did a great job and we would hire them again.

We had a new irrigation system installed in our front yard. The whole team was excellent and extremely professional. We couldnt be happier with the end results. Would definably recommend make a difference to my friends and family.

Starting with Angelique at the office, to fast John, smiling Scott, super Jay, and other hard working men making it all look so effortless as they transformed our entire yard in just a few days! Amazing results and they even took care of the outside parts of our home in those areas one wouldnt think a landscaping company would do; like septic risers and cover, porch masonry, and a well head extension too. Quality company that you can tell is striving for excellence. Management is prompt and timely with responses.

Terrible pricing and had to have two visits to complete what should have been done in one visit! Quoted one price then was $150 more plus they wanted more money for making the second trip because THEY did not do my whole yard! Never hire again!

I had my front yard, side yard and over my septic system regraded and loamed last fall. This spring they came back and hydro seeded. I am so pleased! My yard has made a complete 360. My lawn is thick and full I am so thrilled with the work that Make a Difference has done!

The crew did a great job renovating our garden beds. They incorporated our ideas and made suggestions of their own that greatly improved the final product.
