TruGreen Lawn Care in Lee's Summit

I like that they call you the day before and let you know when they will be there. You will be texted when they are on their way and when they arrive. If you have the app you can track the truck on map. Every employee that has come has been very friendly and helpful. They had to reschedule my treatment due to rain. Came a week later right before the next rain so that was lucky will get it watered in gor free.

Fast and easy. Just waiting for the grass to grow now.

I had an outbreak of chickweed and they came right out and addressed my concern and did not charge for that visit. Very responsive to my concerns and requests. My lawn looks so much better this year since I started Tru Green service.

Our front yard is pretty torn up right now due to drains being put in our street and new water lines installed. Even getting to our house can be tricky right now; even so, TruGreen showed up and made sure what s left of our lawn was treated thoroughly.

Beware of Trugreen. I unfortunately agreed to a prepaid year of service with a telemarketer. I continued to get unsolicited calls from them after trying to sell me additional services. Asked to be removed from that call list but still got calls. After my year was over they tried to apply services and bill me without my authorisation. Now I have to deal with collection agencies because I refuse to pay for services I didn t authorise. Do your self a favor and seek service elsewhere.

I had an excellent experience with Ryan Berry My tree and shrub specialist. When he came to spray he was in depth explaining what was going on with my trees and shrubs super knowledgeable very friendly guy really had a nice visit.

They have done better than I could. And I just dont have the time. My house is on the corner so its the very first thing you see when you drive past.

Worst service ever. Other then kicking a basketball into my car. Walking onto my porch saying oo amazon then stomping on my package. The over seeding and aeration. Only aerated the front didnt seed anything didnt even try to do my back yard. Dont know if they do that all the time thank people will see aeration in front not look for seed or to see if they aerated in back. They obviously not smart enough to see I have cameras to watch them be disrespectful to my property and try to screw me over. Better be there to watch them cause you never know what they will or wont do to your stuff

Im 79 , hired your company to reseed my lawn neglected by previous owner. tech applied weed and fertilizer today saying reseeding would be done in the fall. I will now reseed my lawn. I also thought TX for grubs would be done today to kill moles. tech said not today and that I could hire an exterminator to kill the mole. I am satisfied with todays service. not satisfied I have to reseed myself if I want it done this spring and you cant kill moles. I have never reseed a lawn and do not have equipment to do so. I would not have hired your company if I knew you would not reseed and kill moles.

Hunter, from Lees Summit called me after I reached out to the 1800 # just to inquire about their services. This guy said he could offer an even better special locally than the rep on the phone. I listened and offered my email and said Id speak to my husband about this. NEVER AGREED. I found out today, by email, that they performed the first treatment yesterday and were expecting to return today for the second treatment. I am livid! They just expect me to go along with this and pay for services I NEVER AGREED TO. This level of poor business practice is unbelievable, to say the least! I am feeling that he thought since I am a female he could get away with this ridiculous sales tactic and it would be acceptable and Id have no choice but to go along with it, HE IS WRONG. I called to explain this morning, and the rep on the phone seemed to be understanding and reversed the charge and apologized for the misunderstanding, so hopefully, thats the last I deal with this company. Beware of sleazy sales tactics.

I was very well pleased with the gentleman that came by today. I went out to look to see what they were doing they were very friendly polite and courteous with smiles. I start thinking about next years service just because of the warm fuzzys I got.

Have been 4 years prepaid through TruGreen. Customer Service is absolutely garbage! Spent 2+ hours talking to 6 different people, lost call 3 times, didnt accomplish what was asked. Charged me for services I did not approve or pre-pay. To call and close the services was brutally difficult. Loyalty $30 credit never applied...30 bucks is 30 bucks! In the end they auto charged me for services without my approval which I had made clear. Convoluted system that in opinion is not rocket science. Glad I will do my own lawn applications now for 1/3 the price. Very Disappointed TruGreen!!

Im very pleased with the technician that comes out to spray my yard. He pays attention to detail. He is careful where he sprays by both staying away from things that shouldnt be sprayed the best that he can, and spraying all the areas that need it. It was just sprayed today so its too early to do say how effective the spray is but the technician is great!

I am super disappointed in the local office here representing TruGreen, more specifically a kind individual named Hunter. I signed up for a years worth of service on the 19th of March and was told that I would have a representative come out to my home for the first treatment within 2-3 business days. A week after signing up I hadn t heard anything from this company so I contacted Hunter to see what the status was. Hunter stated they would be out on the 1st of April. It s now the 4th of April and I still haven t had my lawn attended to as promised. I again reached out to Hunter to find out the status of the agreement and lawn care. He stated I had treatment done on the 1st of April. This is nothing short of a lie as I have cameras located around my entire property with no cameras picking up any trugreen truck or anyone working on my yard. The dishonesty displayed by this company is disheartening considering the large amount of money they received from me. If anyone is looking for lawn care, definitely think about another company.

I d like to give a shout out to Kimber in their customer service department. She took care of all my needs answered all my questions. She was also able to apply a few discounts for me. This young lady is an asset to their customer service department. We need more customer service agents like her.

He was very knowledgeable and shared some very useful tips to keep the Japanese beetles under control between services. Truly great service. Our lawn struggled before switching to TruGreen a number of years ago. It has been thick, green and healthy ever since. TruGreen is also great about communicating when they plan to treat the lawn. The annual core aeration and seeding service is also a plus. Its easy to track and change services with an online account and the few times Ive called customer service they have been very helpful. I highly recommend TruGreen to anyone looking for a lawn service.

BEWARE! Trugreen really screwed up our yard. They left big tire tracks all throughout our yard last summer and it ended killing the grass under the tire tracks. They caused ugly brown tracks throughout our entire yard and it took months to grow back. DO NOT USE! Trugreen? More like true trash.

Stay away from anything truGeen . Company is nationwide corrupt. Will steal you blind and not care. Refund HaHa just try and get one. 7 months later still sending me a bill for a treatment last month. They have called me twice for another new phantom treatment. Please stay away............

This was a followup visit from TruGreen about the treatment and applications on the trees and shrubs in our yard. Ryan was able to calm all of my concerns and answer all of my questions by explaining exactly what trees and shrubs are treated on our property. He was very thorough in his explanation and I am confident now whenever this service is done exactly what to expect.

We started using Trugreen in 2020. The service the first year was fine and the grass looked good. Year after year it has gotten progressively worse. We get texts they have arrived and completed services, when they have not. I work from home and have a very protective dog, if they were here I would know. They stopped treating the backyard for some unknown reason. When you call and want to cancel service they say youve got one more service youve paid for, which I think is just a trick to keep you on the hook. Do not use this company.

I worked for this company they were ruining peoples lawns I was the only guy driving out to Saint Joseph every morning I was in st joseph by 7 oclock leaving the shop by 6 oclock I show up early to work everyday and every customer I talked with was upset beyond belief at the quality of their yards Im not kidding when I say that every other customer that I was able to speak with was NOT happy, I had to put in extra hard work just to make sure the customers were getting what they were paying for which is little to nothing sadly, Theres no brakes so Ive accidentally had to go to the bathroom on myself while trying to find a restroom, So I had to wash my pants in a bathroom sink and finish out my day soaked in water The last thing I did after putting all this work in is ran to the woodline on a property before I went on myself again later on and the customers saw on cameras so they terminated me its okay though working for this company was NOT ideal the $ was great but the service is beyond useless why would you do this to grass?? theres literally no point of this company DO NOT GET they are a dying service

We just started this service this month, and already we plan to switch to another provider. Poor communication, lack of follow through, being told by one customer service rep that a service is scheduled only to find that there is no record of the schedule, no call back on service details when requested multiple times. Weve repeatedly told them that we are concerned about the health of the boxwoods and need an assessment and specific treatment plan, but no one has followed through with this nor called us back on our concerns. Multiple problems with rep recording the correct billing address for card. My spouse opted to pay for a year up front, but payment did not go through because Vincent, our original sales rep, did not enter the billing address. With the problems starting as soon as the service began we opted to pay by each individual service invoices, and are glad we did so we can dump this service without losing any more money. Customer rep is in the Caribbean call center so there is no local connection, therefore no accountability. This experience has been a waste.

I bought the 6 or so package for the summer. TrueGreen was supposed to come out and put seed down and make my lawn look great. I ve had 3 treatments and my dirt patch lawn looks exactly the same. Not even a new blade of grass. Called to cancel and get a refund on services provided and the rep informed me that they have a satisfaction guarantee NOT a money back guarantee. I called last month to cancel and was talked into 1 more treatment. Should have cancelled then. Won t use again.

A neighbor of mine ordered poison from this company, not me. The TruGreen employee spraying the poison decided that he was going to spray my medical herb/food garden as well, which has now been ruined. I have this on my Ring camera video. I tried to contact this location to talk to them about this and was sent to a general customer service number which was no help. I would like to talk to someone that actually works at the Lees Summit location. Respond with a phone number that does NOT take me to a general customer service line.

Client for 3 years. Their personnel for aeration and overseeding were so disrespectful this year that I will not renew my annual contract. Areas were not addressed in my yard that I paid for. Hire a higher rated service and maybe you will get what you pay for. Edit on 11/16/2023 Tru Green worker arrived, parked in front of my house and was on phone for 15 minutes at his truck. I asked him if he needed anything and he put his phone away and performed the service. Left signage in my yard after repeatedly asked them not do so which they had not done for 2.5 years per my request. This was my last service, all prepaid, I am just glad I dont have to deal with their failure and disrespect anymore.

I need a general manager from Lees Summit office to contact me before I write the in detail negative review here so that an issue can be resolved. I have made 4 phone calls and it has yet to be settled. I live out of town now and will be coming to the office if I dont get a prompt return call. I understand that there is no way for me to make a call to this office as it goes to a national call center. This is regarding the property at 1006 W 1st Street. My number is on file.

We came to know TruGreen and used their services at our old house. The lawn went from a D- to an A+ within a couple of years. Now, we have re-hired them at our new house. Although it came with newly laid sod, it has never looked all that great (my fault, Im sure). I already know their proficient and professional technicians will get it into shape in no time at all (well, over the course of a year - which is fast unless you want to spend big $$$!). I ve walked by 3 house in my neighborhood and all them have fertilizer all over the driveway and side walks.

I received a postcard in the mail with a special offer, so I called. The emailed quote was much higher than I had received from other companies, so I ignored it. Two days later, I get a phone call from a guy named Mark. He said he works for TruGreen and drove by my house. He said We can make your lawn look really good! I told him that the quote I received was much higher than their competitors. He said, Well, I can certainly beat that first quote you received by a lot! I told him that I wish he would have called yesterday, because I had just committed to another company. Without saying anything, he hung up. I own 16 other homes here in St. Joseph and was interested in getting a quote from him for those properties since I hadnt yet hired a lawn treatment service for them. I wasnt sure if he actually hung up on me, or we were just disconnected. So I tried calling back the number he had called me from. It went straight to voicemail. So I waited a couple of minutes and tried calling again. Voicemail. I waited a few more minutes and tried calling again. No answer... voicemail. About a minute later, he calls me back and says Why the hell do you keep calling me??? I told him that I thought we had been disconnected. He said, You told me you had hired someone else! I replied, Yes, but I own 16 other properties here in town and thought you could give me a bid for those. He hesitated and then said, But Id have to look up all of those properties. Hmmmm.... of course he would. Isnt that his job??? I said, Yes you would... do you have another suggestion as to how I could get a quote? His reply was extremely rude and didnt even make sense. I asked him his name again, and he said Whats YOUR name??? I told him David... and then I said, Isnt your name Mark? He reluctantly confirmed that it was. I told him to nevermind... and that I wasnt going to put up with his rude behavior. I was so shocked at the way this guy treated me, I thought I should report it to his supervisor. So I called the Kansas City TruGreen number. It automatically goes to a national call center. They have no way of connecting you with a local person. I got transferred around from person to person... all of them clueless. Again, IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT A LOCAL PERSON. I came here to Google a number to see if I could find a different one... nope... same local number shows up, but it automatically transfers to the national call center. Unbelievable! I start reading the horrific reviews of this company... and it looks like they have ZERO customer service, they use high-pressure sales tactics, and their work is substandard. Even more surprising are the cut and paste responses to each review from the company. These responses are not addressing the complaints/reviews... they have about a half dozen canned responses that someone simply does a cut and paste. No substance at all in the responses... which just goes to further show you that this company doesnt care. They are a big machine designed to take your money and thats it!!! Ill bet youll see one of their cut & paste responses following my review too! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

The individual who put down the fertilizer dumped excess on my lawn when he couldnt get his spreader into his van. I watched him kick at the fertilizer, but didnt clean it up. I have called them twice, and emailed them once with no response. The grass has now died under that spot. I will not be using them again.

They failed to spray my yard as a new customer and when, I called the company they stated that someone would be out in the next 2 business days, I called on a Friday someone shouldve came out that day, It wasnt my fault they sprayed the wrong yard that had the same address, however it was a different street.

Unreliable. Charged us for services in 2021 that it turns out they did not do. Trying to get them to do these service this year but they won t. Will not return phone calls. Said they were coming 3 times and never showed up. Can never talk directly to KC office, just a central system whose representative can t do anything. A total complete unresponsive uncaring excuse for a company.

Im seeing horrible reviews and I cant see why! Weve used them for 2 or 3 years now and have never had a problem. I had the local guys number and he was always answering or calling me back. If I called customer service it seemed like I always got one of a handful of people and they have always been so pleasant and accommodating. I guess I didnt realize it was a national company but in Kansas City, MO area (my guys out of lees summit, MO) theyre just fantastic!

Trust me when I say this. U will regret the day u signed up 4 service. Youll be pestered non-stop and ignored at their convenience. Theyre strong in marketing/sales and horrible in backing it up.(as in lawn, tree and shrub results). In general lawns in the midwest only need 2 apps applied all year with fertilizer. Early spring and early 2 late fall depending on mother nature. With Trugreens program b prepared as in have your wallets ready with all that uneeded nitrogen that gets pumped onto your lawn from all the fertilizer apps because now u have brown patch fungus. Fungicides arent cheap and trust me a salesman will probably be either at your door or calling u quite possibly b4 the brown patch even becomes visible. Remember theyre salesman good with the lingo and may know a little but they ultimately care more about whats in your wallet. Too bad Scotts didnt buy out Trugreen because Scotts was ran the right way with top of the line products. Scotts actually cared and listened to your needs and expectations. If you canceled they didnt show up again like you never canceled. Dont give in and be another gullable Trugreen victim

Promised us a beautiful full green yard with no weeds or bare spots... we signed up for a year and its just as bad as it was before. You cant just tell the guys that do the yard about problems or concerns because they wont tell the office. And they dont tell you when your contract is over. They just bill you for new yard applications. Waste of money.

Tru Green lawn technician applied a treatment on a rainy day which meant the chemicals did not have time to dry, it was important for the application to dry according to Tru Green directions. I called customer service and explained the situation and requested a repeat application be done. 24 to 48 hours later, I received an email letting me know that the service would be repeated. I only had to make one call and talk to one person to be satisfied with my customer service.

A big difference this year! My neighbors have been complimenting on my corner lot

WORST COMPANY EVER! Currently have BBB and FTC report open. Received email from Lashawn Mcclacther to which she has passed me off to BBBTeam (something is wrong if a company has to have BBB team), Morgan, Willie, Richmond, Damon, and Vuncannon, David. It has been more than 45 days and I have not received a 2nd treatment to which I am suppose to have monthly treatments according to my contract. Nothing is being done and I am getting the run around from the corporate office. Just received an email about CDC, so again, passing the buck and pushing out a response to the customer. SO PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

I used TruGreen for 2 years and at first, it was great. Then came the services charged but no service completed. I said ok, we will call them maybe they dont have enough people and they are running behind. After several months of payment and no service complete they tell me we will give you 20% off the next service. Ok fine, I will keep my services, as everyone deserves a second chance. Aeration and over seeding time, They just showed up one day and completed the service. I didnt schedule this as I was really put out by the services or lack of service so far. I was billed for the full amount. I did not pay it as I was still arguing about the promised 20% off. I received a call about the tree and shrub service. I nicely told the lady I wasnt interested. They performed the tree and shrub service I said I did not want and charged my card. I called because obviously, I said no to this service but now it has been performed and charged to my account. This lady tells me that they will credit my account for the aeration and overseed IF I keep the tree and shrub service. So I hesitantly agree to keep the service. She told me to wait 24-48 hours and my account will show the credit. 3 days later still no credit, and in the meantime TruGreen calls me to collect $243 for the aeration service I was supposed to be credited. I call AGAIN! This time, another lady tells me that they did credit my account and then turns around tells me that they didnt credit it and the woman I spoke to 3 days earlier couldnt guarantee that I would get the credit and she doesnt know why she would have promised that. She says she can put in for a credit for the tree and shrub service. I have been lied to 3 different times with this company after giving them the benefit of the doubt and trying to work with them on the mistakes they have made.

Not doing anything for my yard and cost way to much

Yard is more shades of green than Ive ever even knew existed. Weeds still all over the lawn instead of fixing the problem they canceled our Acct. Do notvuse this company. LOCAL ONLY!!!

Supposedly TruGreen will retreat lawns for free if the customer asks them to. On June 30th I asked our representative Victor to have someone come out and retreat our yard as it has a ton of weeds and I dont think the last treatment worked very well. I had to text and call him several times and didnt get a response until July 7th. Victor told me on July 7th that he would get someone out to treat the lawn ASAP. On July 8th he told me someone would be out next week. On July 15th I asked why nobody has been out this week. He then tells me someone would be out on July 21st......

Technician did one pass on both sides of our driveway with spreader, sprayed a little along the driveway got in his truck and left. Didnt even treat the side yards or the back. This has happened so many times. Cant even get a call back from their supervisor. They were here. Total of 7 mins. Do they forget that people have cameras now?

If I could give this company a 0 star I would. We hired them in April and paid over $700 to get 8 services. To date they have serviced our lawn ONCE and we had to involve the Better Business Bureau just to get them here to do that. They call over and over saying they are coming for a service, and then just don t show up. The local KC office won t even take our phone calls anymore because they say we got too good of a deal on our lawn package and they should just give our money back so they don t have to service us. WOW. We ve used this company for several years and will be telling everyone we know to go elsewhere. There are plenty of good local companies available in the KC area. Trust me go elsewhere!

Im on the fence about keeping this service. On a plus note, whatever they are using on my lawn, it killed the early dandelions and some weed with a little white flower but thats about it. My lawn now has multiple shades of green like another poster stated and weeds worse in spots than before and some mysterious new one. For what Im being charged I would have expected more but well see. They actually put fertilizer all over my lawn on the hottest day of the year and it was 100 degrees not the 91 or whatever the guy wrote on the sheet. The instructions were to keep like an inch of water on it. Good luck doing so in that heat. Im supposed to and had been getting notices of when they would be coming but that stopped inexplicably hence the fertilizing of my lawn on the hottest day of the year. If Id have gotten notice I would have canceled that visit. It does appear a bit thicker so Im undecided about keeping this service.

I have been using true green for a couple of years now and I have experienced good work by some of the workers and I have experienced some bad workers that pull up to my location and set in the truck and write down the job as finished with out a thing done.

Twice they have scheduled to come out and treat the lawn. Both times walked to the door left a receipt without ever treating the yard! Do these technicians not realize most homeowners have security cameras and can watch everything that happens on the property! I will be disputing these charges

If we could give no stars we would do so. We had new sod installed this year and wanted to ensure it thrived so signed up for regular treatments to keep it looking the best. After the very first treatment, multiple areas were obliterated and died within days. They were also to come out and measure our property (part of what we paid) which was never completed despite calling multiple times. One young man did come out after complaining about that not happening to do a treatment only to be turned away after he was told that was not why we called and finding out he was not authorized to measure (oddly was also not authorized to park in the driveway). A manager came out about 10 days later after additional calls and he did inspect and admitted that they caused the damage. He supposedly signed us up for aeration and overseeding at no cost which should not be necessary for a newly installed yard. Then on the next scheduled visit, our cameras caught the tech beside the house urinating. We again called to complain and were promised a call by a manager within 48 hours which has now come and gone with only someone else calling asking us to call them back to provide additional details; which we already provided when we originally called. This company is terrible and has been a long time since Ive seen a company so careless with customer service who treats customers worse than the dirt under the grass. We only went with them as they were the only player in the area and absolutely regret spending nearly $800 for annual service. Stay away at all cost.

Don t bother; go with a company that operates with care and will actually earn your business. We ve had them out twice now to aerate our lawn - first they neglected to aerate an entire portion of our yard and about 5 feet of our property line - all while breaking a sprinkler head ($180 to fix). They came out the second time and proceeded to create catastrophic damage to our main sprinkler lines. They operate exclusively online, there is zero face-to-face interaction or accountability. Go with a company that is glad to have your business and won t cost you even more money to fix the mistakes they ve caused.

The gentleman that was here last month did his job but didnt tell us we had Moles andhad to pay to get rid of thmthe person that got rid of them said they eat Grubbs and I thought TruGreen used granular product and sprayed for us not to have them. Makes you wonder what did they use!!!

Grass.... until I had tru green I could only wish I had grass. They have brought my yard back to life. I just had my grass aerated and seeded and my grass looks great. Thank you tru green for all your knowledge.

Highly don t recommend. Never saw a difference with my yard compared to neighbors who do nothing. Cancelled the service back in FEB it s NOV and I m still calling to dispute charges to my account and still calling about services that are scheduled Save yourself the time and money and go with someone else.

I just cancelled my service.They didnt show up for 3 treatments in a row. They promised to rectify it twice and didnt. Said they would send a message to the manager didnt hear from him. The treatments work well but the service and management leaves alot to be desired.

Worst customer service ever. They are located in another state and you cant talk to anyone local. The lady actually told me they dont have a number for the local office. They didnt bother to show up in July. Im canceling my service. The lady said a manager would call me back. No one ever called. Very disappointing.

The worse company (Branch) I have ever seen. I have asked for 3 weeks to have a branch manager call me and my request go on death ears, I have had asked the tech to make sure he sprays around my patio and drive way and to make sure he gets my whole yard. 4 times he still has failed to do so, never shows up on the scheduled day and they do not care about customer first. Just try to call, on hold up to an hour to get lip service from customer care with a promise they will have someone call and yet not one call in the weeks trying. I just want them to come out, look at my yard and tell me if this is what In am paying for or not.

TruGreen was the WORST company we ve ever done business with. We prepaid for the whole year up front (which I think was the first problem they already had our money!) They were supposed to come every 4-6 weeks, but they weren t showing up. We had to wait at least 45 minutes on hold each time we called to track someone down to get them to come out to our property for service. As a first time customer you d think they d have a specific plan to get our lawn looking great, but instead we had a different tech each time (with totally different ideas as to what our lawn needed ) and one tech even said that the previous tech was quitting, so she did a half-you know what job spraying our lawn. One time they came, never did anything, and still charged for the service. Another time they charged for two services without any advance notice they were going to do that. In the summer, it was going on nine weeks in between services so I had to call to track them down again (yay 45 minute hold times!) After talking to customer service they moved our next treatment forward and then that person never showed up. You can t get through to anyone local; it all goes to a corporate call center. We finally got them to cancel our services and they didn t even refund us all of our money. We paid hundreds of dollars without any benefit to our lawn. Save yourself some sanity and hire a local company!

Worst company ever. I would not recommend this company to anyone. This company killed our grass. They were suppose to be treating it and killing crabgrass. The only thing green is the crabgrass. On another visit I got the text they were here yesterday and then the text they left. Well yeah they apparently don t know how to read the address. They showed up to the wrong house and put our name and information on the ticket. Needless to say they were suppose to come here and did not. And then still charged me for a service they did not provide. You call this company and can t get a supervisor to call you back. Buyer beware

Worst and only lawn service I ever used. Like others have stated, don t prepay you front. We spent around $600.00 for the whole years worth of treatments and that was a terrible idea. Previously I ve always done my own lawn work with items from the Grasspad, which work absolutely incredible compared to this garbage. My yard looked great before I tried this service and I just wanted to free up some time, so I gave TruGreen a try. I was told I would get a soul analysis and a specific treatment for my lawn. Shocker neither of those things happened. I had a few pesky bare/dead spots in my lawn that needed some TLC as well. Shocker .my dead/bare spots multiplied and expanded to an area over 10x10 ft wide. How is that even possible? I then some how lost two fruit trees during this process that had no prior issues. I always used proper bug/fungus sprays on my trees and they have always been good to go. My first two treatments started poorly. I have cameras all around my house, so I got to see first hand how the technician never treated one whole side of my front yard, then proceeded to just not do the backyard at all. Called customer service and they sent another person out. The next person uses almost no product at all and once again misses half my property. Called customer service yet again. After a third try, the tech shows up and does another terrible job, and does my whole property in about 6 minutes. I watch and realize there s no way anything quality could come out of that kind of effort. I call again and a representative says that techs need to go over your yard very quickly so some of their products don t burn your grass. Fast forward to like treatment 5-6, my thick, green lawn that I had prior is completely gone. I have about 25% of my yard burned/bare spotted and neighbors to the right and left of me who don t do anything to their lawns at all, both have better lawns than me. I call to cancel my service because I was told initially that there is a 100% guarantee. It turns out that s also a lie. I got half of my money back and a quarter of my yard ruined. I don t recommend this company at all. They may have been good in the past, but whatever happened recently, steer clear.

My yard started out looking beautiful but they sprayed my trees and shrubs and it killed the grass just east of all the trees sprayed. I called and a rep was sent. He did not inform me of his conclusions just said he put in for repair. Next thing I know the aerated and seeded my whole yard (one acre) and charged me 800 for it. I did not ask fir this plus it seems like one hell of a scam to kill your clients yard then reseed and charge me for their incompetence.. I have heard other clients complain about Trugreen s methods. Use at your own risk.

One side of the company doesnt know what the other side is doing. They were a month late on getting my aeration done and planting my seeds in the cooler/cold nights. then they planned on coming out a week later to do another service that should not be done right after aeration. The customer service people are , worthlessnt, they dont care about your concerns. If I could cancel my contract I would do it immediately. I will neverlrenew

Terrible service!!!! TRUGREEN!!!!!! On many occasions we received a bill on the door, only to find out the lawn was never treated. We contacted TrueGreen all season in an attempt to have someone properly care for our lawn. We ended up with so many weeds and the lawn looked a mess. TRUGREEN informed us that we needed to call every time the lawn was t treated and they would send someone out. We called all season and the lawn still was full of weeds.
