The entire project was fantastic! Thank-you Adam and “multiple” team members so much!! We had a new pool built which tore up the front and back yard, landscaping, irrigation system and back stair railing. In addition, we had a tree removed, limestone/cement retaining flower bed walls and steps to the pool area installed. We've used Eco Irrigation and Landscaping for all our sprinkler system needs since 2012 or so in various locations we've lived at around the Austin area. I've always found their prices to be fair, and their staff is awesome. I have NEVER had an issue with anyone from their company I've dealt with over the course of the last 12 years or so. Ever. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Reached out to ECO for a backflow test and had a great experience. I received a txt before arriving and a call after to summarize their finding. Hector also shared some knowledge with me regarding backflow installation. I will be reaching out to them again!
I highly recommend these folks for any landscaping project you might be considering. From the initial quote to the final step of my project every employee I interacted with was professional, respectful, and courteous. The price quoted was the price paid (no added costs). And they actually were able to meet the projected target date even with weather not cooperating!
It is the second time we have used Eco Irrigation, this time for our second house. We originally received them as a recommendation from the neighborhood facebook page. After how amazing our first patio project looked, it was quite natural to use them again. The crew was efficient, hard working, and talented. Such a project can really create a mess, but the yard was very well cleaned up after the work was done and the patio again looks amazing. I am set up for Phase 2 and 3 of my project with Eco.
I do not recommend eco irrigation. Adam initially quoted me that they were two weeks out from installation (irrigation). After paying my deposit, they put me down on the schedule for two months out. The office manager did her best to apologize and explain but obviously a disconnect between Adam and the scheduling - which resulted in Adam providing false turn around times to potential clients to gain their business. The office manager did try to accommodate me by letting me know they would try to find a day/time to squeeze me in before my scheduled install date, but that never happened. Keith creates the AutoCAD irrigation plan and he got upset because the plan I had originally requested and explained to Adam never made it to Keith’s irrigation plan. Eventually he said he would charge me to make any additional updates to the AutoCAD plan even though they never got it right the first time. Lastly, the installation contractors were difficult to deal with. They did not go according to the AutoCAD plan and got upset and mocked me in Spanish when I asked them to go according to the AutoCAD plan. In the end, they still did not go according to the plan regarding drip lines I wanted in a specific zone. Lastly, piping was only buried ~2 inches deep as seen in photo.
Irrigation service was acceptable, the landscape part was a disaster. Dealing with the owner was part dumpster fire and part train wreck. Incompetence was only topped by arrogance. Strongly suggest one of the many competitors even at a slight premium on cost. 4/26 Update to my previous review. Following our initial irrigation system start-up this spring, we found several places where the new pipes they installed had froze and burst. Called did help and they said even though it’s less than a year old it’s not covered under warranty because we didn’t buy their winterizing services. (Knew nothing about it). The person answering the phone said she wouldn’t be able to have anyone come out for 3 weeks. What a joke. I dug up the problem areas and found the broken pipe/fittings buried only 2-3 inches down. I checked with other professional contractors and they all agreed 6-8 inches is standard. They also said it’s sometimes difficult with the rocky terrain do you have to use a heavy duty trencher to properly lay the pipe. These clowns literally laid the pipe on the ground and then laid the sod right on top. (see photos) Today we were given a new set of excuses by the owner who did not even come and see his work. He DOES NOT stand by his work - never seen anything like this before. All excuses and no remedy. This review is complete fact-based per the attached pics. Cannot understand how a business like this can stay in business. Humorous response from them on my initial review. Hopefully this follow-up sheds more light on the lack of integrity these crooks have.
I spent months developing ideas to add a front patio and walkways going to the back of the house. Also, I wanted to eliminate most of my grass and go to succulents and hardy native plants because the Texas water supply continues to decline as our population increases. I don’t think this trend will change. I went to ECO because my neighbors gave them strong recommendations. Adam Benefield came to do the estimate. He listened carefully as we went through it together. He made many excellent suggestions. Between the two of us we came up with the beautiful front patio and hardscaped yard we have today. They did the work on time and on schedule. Adam handled the HOA process. Since completion we have received nothing but rave reviews from neighbors and passersby! The neighbors mention that it has completely transformed the home. Luxurious, beautiful, and smart are the words I hear most often! I am hard to please. But the end result greatly exceeded my expectations! I went with the best, expecting the best. It was not inexpensive. Yet we definitely got more than we paid for! Thanks for the great work ECO!

I had a fantastic experience with Eco Irrigation and Landscaping to in my sprinkler system. They were very helpful in answering my questions and reviewing the option and customizations I had. I highly recommend them.
We had an 800 square foot wooden deck torn out replaced with a limestone patio. Then the whole yard was landscaped. From the very beginning the whole project was done beautifully. The attention to detail was fantastic! The workers were all very skilled, neat and polite. 5 stars is not enough for this recommendation.

Cannot recommend these guys enough! Their price to remove three very stubborn shrubs was 1/4 of the price of the two other companies that quoted me. Once the guys arrived, they were very friendly and professional, and even gave me a great landscaping tip that would look amazing and also save more money. Great experience. Will definitely use them again.
Eco Irrigation recently installed a new irrigation system in my yard. From the beginning communication was great explaining step by step how things would work. I watched as the system was being installed and was amazed how well the team worked together to complete the job. Before they left they cleaned up everything, showed how my system worked and made sure to answer all my questions.
We hired the company to winterize our irrigation system and charged us $149 to do the job. We called them to see or somebody could come over to show us how to turn on the water back on. They said that they could do that but it would cost us $99 to do this. Seriously. This should have been a part of the package and they should have informed about this if it wasnt. What a customer service.
We used Eco Irrigation and Landscaping today for the first time for routine lawn maintenance. We have a 2 story house on .4 acres and are getting bi-weekly service for $70 per time. We recently bought our house and our yard was in ROUGH shape. The crew brought out 4 people and was here for about 2.5 hours and it s a completely different yard now. I am SO thankful. It is magnificent.
Eco irrigation installed stone and turf in my backyard, flagstone in frot, and also planting and irrigation. Turned out very beautiful. Adam worked with my comfortable budget and his crew were very friendly and professional. I recommend this company for everyone and I would like to use them for my future projects.
Eco Irrigation and Landscaping installed concrete on my backyard sports court : 24ft x 52ft. They quoted competitively, and did the job very professionally. They worked with me patiently, on the day of install they had a hiccup with concrete delivery, but they rectified the next day. They heard all my concerns however small they were, and rectified any and all issues in a timely manner. All team members were very courteous and friendly, and job focused. I would recommend them to others with similar project requirements.

With a recent pool/patio installed, we were seeking landscaping to offer privacy and repair our irrigation, then finish off with new sod. We spoke with 3 other landscaping crews, but none of them met our needs from both design and pricing. We have never used Eco Irrigation, prior to last week. The scope of our project was irrigation repair/adjustments, completley removing and updating numerous plant and flower bends, installing numerous pallets of St. Augustine grass, providing new borders, basalt (black) rock, precision cut stepping stones, etc The team that showed up for our job, were the most precise, pleasant, easy to communicate details with, hardest working crew ive ever seen. ALL of this, during our massive heat wave! PLEASE give these folks a chance to bid, and do your projects. The extras/additional adjustments in the field, that were provided were spot on, and needed. We hired Eco Irrigation for an all new sprinkler system and sod for our very large front, side, and back yards. It was a very large project and we couldnt be happier with our choice of choosing this company. We are constantly getting oohs and aahhs over our gorgeous lawn from anyone that comes to our house. We are sure it has increased the value of our home. This is our third summer and I just had to have some nozzles replaced and tweaked this year. I want to rave about Alex, who has worked with me to get any spots in the yard that werent quite happy. He is patient, thorough, professional, and his troubleshooting skills to figure out what to switch out or change is spot on. Ill keep choosing this company for the maintenance of this system just to work with service reps like Alex. Ask for him. Hes awesome!
The team was VERY responsive! Called last week to have our system checked. They were able to fit me in to a busy schedule. Jacob visited our property, made all of the inspections, verified the operating system, made several adjustments based on his findings. Jacob was very professional and communicated his findings clearly. Thank you very much for the quick response!
We had them over because our sprinkler zones were having issues coming on. The tech was able to find the issue and repair it quickly. We will definitely call on them again if needed. Highly recommend.
They were quick to get the job done but took shortcut in splicing in the irrigation system to the main water system which finally broke and cost me $900.00 plus in water bills.

I had an issue with my Lake Pump used for my irrigation system. They came out and troubleshot the problem, order the part and returned to replace it. The knew what they were doing, got me back running. Good work Eco
Adam is awesome. Everyone that works for Eco wants to please the customer. Landscaping is expensive and we had some plants die, but my project was a very large one that we completed in 4 phases throughout the entire spring and summer of 2022. My only reason for 4 stars is the expense and the fact that I had to replace some of the plants right away. That is likely the risk of doing such a large project. No complaints otherwise. I would absolutely recomend Eco to anyone doing a large scale overhaul to their property as I did.
I was going crazy with my irritation system. I called ECO and the tech that came was pleasant , knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Made suggestions to solve problems and problems gone. Highly recommended.
They put in my sprinkler system and new sod a few years ago. They service my system each year for start up each spring and shut down each fall. Theyve kept the system functioning flawlessly since they installed it several years ago. I recommend them to all looking for a great company to work with if you need a sprinkler system and/or a new lawn.
We had a very positive experience with Eco Irrigation. When we purchased our house in 2010, the front yard did not have a sprinkler system, and the lawn had sat baking all summer. We did our best to take care of it on our own for many years, using sprinklers and hoses. But eventually we realized it needed more than two working adults could keep up with by hand. Eco Irrigation installed a complete sprinkler system, including soaker hoses in the flower beds, and they did a complete sod installation - treating what was left of our old yard and weeds, scalping it down to the ground, and putting in new sod. The difference in curb appeal was night and day. We had a couple of issues with some of the sprinkler heads after install, but Eco Irrigation was always responsive and easy to work with, making sure to get everything just right. A little over a year later, we couldn t be happier with our results.

With temperatures expected to be in the lower teens in two days, I was desperate to have my sprinkler system winterized (all water flushed from the system). Office Manager Nicole was able to schedule this on such short notice and save my system from possible freezing and failure. Many kudos to her and all the staff there at Eco.
I had a somewhat complex landscaping project (very complex for me), which was a complete re-do of our backyard and portions of front yard. Bill Winsor did a great job teaching us about plants and trees we had never heard of, that all have been great additions to our yard. His crew leaders Marco and Carlos and Hector were all very professional, and they worked with an agility and coordination level that I dont see in most businesses, even ones I own or manage. Nicole and the rest of the support team are responsive, and have done everything they can to find the plants / trees we decided upon, in a very difficult time to do so (SnowMaggedon, ATX, Feb 2021).
I had a great experience with Eco Landscape. I ordered a large amount of stone slabs and there was a slight miscommunication with pricing. In the end, Adam and Geoffrey honored our original agreed upon price. They are genuine people and true professionals. Their entire team have been great and easy to work with. Ive made several purchases with them since and everyone there have always been very kind and helpful. I highly recommend them!
George is very nice and helpful. He made suggestions for location and type of water spouts and answered all my questions. They finished the front and back yard irrigation installation job in 1 day (long day for the workers).
