One star because it won t let me put zero. Customer on autopay for over a year. I was told I was given services for a set price agreed upon when I first got started. I joined autopay since I was rarely home when technicians were there and I wanted to remain on top of billing. When I chose to cancel services over a year later (went through drought, not their fault), account was closed and I was told all was well. Cue a debt collection bill 2 months later saying I owed money. I was not told this on the phone when deactivating my account, nor were any bills or messages received from TruGreen. After talking to 2 different TruGreen service reps who said they thought it was an erroneous bill and that they could see I paid monthly for over a year, I thought I was good. I was told a note was put on my account for management to review and correct. However, something told me to get confirmation to be sure so I called back and was referred to the billing department. The billing department says I DO owe, an even greater amount than the debt collection bill I received in the mail. The explanation was my monthly autopay did not cover full services provided. This was odd to me as I never SET an autopay default amount, I thought it covered your monthly services. I also did not show any balance on my online account and was never sent a bill or notified of outstanding balance during my whole time with TruGreen. Furthermore, when I discontinued services, why wasn t I told of a balance? I was extremely displeased as there was no explanation and they offered to have me pay just a portion of the remaining balance as a compromise. I did so, but I was so frustrated I was paying for something I did not understand that I requested to talk to a supervisor. This led to confusing explanations about how autopay works and NO explanation on how 3 customer service reps could not understand why I had a balance or tell me if I even had one. She offered to waive the supposed outstanding amount I had just paid. Well guess what? Lo and behold I just looked the amount charged to my card 2 weeks ago has not been credited back. So NO resolution, terrible customer service from the top down, and I am still out an extra $198 when I paid monthly faithfully for over a year. Please avoid this company at all costs. Nobody is on the same page, and fair warning if you are on autopay they will say it doesn t cover your services. I have never heard of such a thing with autopay for any other billing service save a credit card that you choose minimum balance. ABSOLUTELY SORRY SERVICE and thanks for my credit back that you never gave as promised to make it right.

Was charged 218.61 I didnt authorize for ariation. The crew destroyed my driveway, sidewalk, and pool deck with mud tracks! Called 3 times to get trugreen to come clean up their mess. They refused each time. Next day I called to cancel and request a refund and again refused to refund my money and an attitude they just dont care about keeping a customer.

I had disengaged with TruGreen because you don t truly appreciate experts until you try to do it yourself. I just started using them again because my lawn actually did pretty well under them and they have responded really well this go round

I only went to the website to inquire about service and looked at their services provided. I did not ever schedule anyone to come out to my home. I had a man show up in regular street clothes unannounced at 7pm one night telling my husband I wanted him to come give me a quote. That was false. He left my house and then sent me a text message and 8 emails about signing the contract. I then had another man show up the next week while I was having my yard serviced by another company and he said he was told I wanted a quote. I told him I did not request anyone to come to my house and I was happy with my service. He skipped a day and came back a day later. I did not answer the door for fear of my safety. He left a doortag with his cell phone number. During the entire process of these events, I notified TruGreen each time and nothing was done to end this. Please choose wisely as there are other competitors and are professional and respectful that can do a great job on your lawn and you feel good about the experience.

So far, I am very happy with True Green service this year.

My service today was outstanding. My specialist, David Bailey explained to me in detail some issues that were going on with my grass and gave me specific instructions how to remedy it.

Our lawn has benefited from True Greens service. Robert T answered our questions and was very personable. Texting the company to change our service was very easy. We shall continue to use TruGreen and we shall recommend them.

I have told everyone that Tru Green is the way to go. If you are trying to get your lawn together. They are truly professional.

These people will not actually *mow* your lawn. They will, however, charge you a couple hundred bucks to sprinkle some pixie dust on your dead plants and tell you to water them more. Then they will send you junk mail for the rest of your life.

Today was the first day for the beginning of getting my dead lawn to come back to life and I m excited. David was friendly and answered all my questions.

Really unprofessional company. I contacted them earlier in the week to get a quote and to discuss their prices because I was looking for a landscaper/lawn treatment company, but even though their Google site says that they do landscaping, I found out that they only do treatments. So I told them I would need to find a landscaper as well so I could see how that works into the budget along with their treatment service, and then I would get back to them the following week. But instead of waiting for me to call them back, I got spammed with calls at work the next day from someone in Missouri. I answered once, told them again that I need to look into landscaping as well and would get back to them, but the guy proceeded to call me several more times at work until I just ended up having to block his number. Then I get a call today by another guy from TruGreen named Jorge Ferrer, didn t leave a message, so I called back and found out it was TruGreen bothering me again, and hung up. He then called me several more times without leaving a message, so I had to block that guy as well. Moral of the story, TruGreen, if someone says they need time and will call back later, don t have several employees spam them during work hours and on the weekend. I certainly will not be using your services now, and would appreciate if you would please stop calling me.

TruGreen had to come do a respray but the gentleman they sent this time was conscientious and listened. I liked that he explained what they sprayed with and how many days before I see results.

Genaro Banba was awesome to work with. He did an excellent job fertilizing our yard. I will request him to complete all mt services.

TRUGREEN Guys provided great service for weed control and fertilizing my lawn as I prepare to seed & lay new zoysia grass sod. The current lawn in has been challenged over time by previous home owners care. TrGr kept me informed on their schedule & arrival with their tracking link. TrGr provided me with a hand written report on my lawn status with care instructions to improve growth and maintenance.

Had problems with bald spots and patches in my yard. Demarcus the technician was very knowledgeable and personable. He took his time and did not rush...he also gave me advice on how to keep my grass healthy and green

Joshua did a good job of application today. I spoke with David from League City location about 2 weeks ago. After his on site evaluation, he said I needed a fungicide treatment and iron also applied to my yard. Can someone tell me when these services are scheduled?

So far within a year of using them they have turned our yard around. Last year, somehow between heat waves and no rain the weeds came out of nowhere and took over our beautiful yard we didn t know what to do and tried so many things but nothing worked trugreen to the rescue. It s not 100% yet but I would say a solid 80-85 so by next year we will be stellar! I m so happy and they have been beyond patient with me!

Started using True Green about a year ago when I noticed rapidly spreading fungus in my beautiful front yard it took a couple of treatments but they got it under the control and with their aeration my front yard is even thicker and Greener I always get compliments on my yard the technicians arrive on time theyre very professional very conscientious discuss things with me answer any questions I might have truly a great service

My lawn is much greener

I still don t understand why I ve had so many problems with my landscape this summer since I ve called several times for in between treatments. If I don t see improvement in the next 2 weeks, I will ask for a 2nd treatment like the one today. I realize the high temperatures are partially to blame.

The technician drags almost 200 feet of hose from the truck down my driveway and across my garden breaking off and bending my plants by pulling with the spray gun on the end of the hose, rather than stripping off lengths of hose on the driveway and routing the hose around the stone boarder of the garden.

I have caught the technician lying about having performed service more than once. My lawn looks worse after 6 months with TruGreen than it looked with no service. I could go on with other issues but those are the worst.

Services from TruGreen ~ can be seen ~ from the lush green grass ~ compared to the past ~ 12 years in my home ~ the Grass hasnt grown ~ to be one of the best lawns ~ that gets watered before dawn ~ prior to using TruGreen ~ a letter or two from the HOA Ive seen ~ before TruGreen others have tried ~ none of them have satisfied ~ so give TruGreen a try ~ and kiss the HOA letters goodbye ~ no more worries about the lawn ~ life goes on

Do not use. After over 1 year of service I have a grass that doesn t grow and a lawn full of weeds. Recently, I had to call 3 times to get someone out to spray for weeds; when they came they applied fertilizer instead of post-emergent. Waste of money and waste of time.

We laid the grass one weekend and by the 2nd week it was full and green and looks incredible. We are definitely going back for more to this incredible farm.

I used to do my own fertilizing but got tired of the extra time it was taking plus when comparing the prices of doing it myself vs. the service Trugreen is actually a much better value. Additionally my lawn has never looked better after only 3 treatments and following their instructions on watering and mowing height. I also like their feedback and communication system. Overall Im very happy with the service.

Appreciate the in person service, but the phone customer service is the worst! Just press 0 and you wont end up waiting 30min with your problem never resolved.

We had the TruHealth lawn care program for 6 months to care four our St. Augustine lawn. We are very disappointed with the service. Our issues * We had to request a consultation to discuss our weed issue continuing to get worse. * During the consultation we found out the weeds are Dallisgrass and can t be treated. Not a word from the Trugreen professionals after the prior lawn treatments. * We were paying Trugreen to fertilize the weeds compounding the problem. * Customer Service scheduled a Manager to review our issues. Apparently the Manager was too busy and sent a tech in stead. Our current options are to dig out the individual weeds and replace with sod plugs or use grass killer to kill each weed. Our satisfaction guaranteed lawn is pictured.

The prices are ridiculous. I had to put my number to even look at the prices on their plans once I did I saw it was over $2000 a year and you had to sign a contract. Too high for me. But that s not the end every since then I have been receiving over 10 calls a day from them. I ve asked three different people to put me on a no call list but the calls keep coming. Don t give these people your information unless you want them to call you all day everyday.

If I could give zero stars for this location of TruGreen, I would. We started monthly lawn service in Jan 2021 with TruGreen #5053 as brown spots were appearing n our St. Augustine grass. After one year of service, our lawn did not improve and some places looked worse than before we started. Thus, in January 2022, I cancelled this service as it was just a waste of money. To make matters worse, I started getting a bill for a service for February 2022, a month AFTER I CANCELLED THIS SERVICE. I called and told the lady who answered the phone that this was an error in their billing, as I had already cancelled this service, and to please update their records. Now I am getting debt collection on this service which happened AFTER I CANCELLED! I refuse to pay for a service after cancellation and I will not be bullied and harassed by these unethical business owners at this location. BUYER BEWARE! Maybe TruGreen works for some, but please do yourself a favor and DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION as their billing practices are dishonest.

Walking through The Landing in League City on Jeb Stuart Dr. I noticed your truck with license plate HLR 9865 and saw the driver in someones backyard peeing on their shed. I called the company to report it and was told that even with the address and license plate they could not look up the driver. Super unprofessional on both counts. Bring a Gatorade bottle like every other male truck driver. Dont pee on your customers shed.
