Crystal View Landscaping in Layton

I can t say enough good things about Skyler and the Crystal View Landscaping team. They have been truly a pleasure to work with from first contact to completion. We contracted with them to clean up and re-landscape a section of our very large backyard, turning it from from messy and steep to clean and beautiful. The block retaining wall they built was done with an expert eye and is now solid and perfectly level. Skyler communicated in a professional and consistent manner from the initial bid through completion of the project. They did what they said they would do, right when they said they would do it and communicated if anything needed to be reviewed or adjusted as the project moved forward. Skyler and his team were professional, friendly, hard-working and a joy to have around during this project. I would highly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs.

OMG, these guys rock! First of all, their answering service is amazing. Their front desk guy calls and takes down all your information, and asks for the best contact info. It really made me feel like they valued my time. THEN, their landscaping expert called me back to tell me that they didnt have any openings at this time, but he still spent twenty minutes on the phone helping me try to understand what my issue was and what I could do to fix it. Ben was super knowledgeable, he cared about me and my situation, and he put me on their call-back list. Steller service. I highly recommend.

Reckless, inconsiderate, dangerous, risky unaccountable. An employee here made me lock up all 4 tires on main when. He was nose deep on his phone pulling out of the gas station and just stared at me like he was high as a kite. Then just pulled away. Cops said they cant do anything without any other witnesses so while I get my tires replaced Im going out to buy a dash camera.

They did a fantastic job on everything asked and were easy to stay in communication with.

Had someone come at for a bid 2 weeks ago and still havent heard back from the company....also, nobody answers the phone or returns phone calls. If its this hard just get a bid plus schedule the work I doubt the work will be good or done in timely manner. Dont waste your time as I have.....

Crystal View did a thorough job cleaning our windows. They even easily got off the hard water from the sprinklers hitting the water. They were reasonably priced and came on time. Soon, we are having them also power wash our home.

Crystal View landscaping is fantastic! They helped us with our backyard landscaping project that included moving a 8x12 Tough Shed over and up an incline. Each person we came in contact with from Crystal View were professional and friendly. We were able to talk over our ideas and design the perfect set up. We would highly recommend Crystal View for any and all of your landscaping needs!

This outfit does everything I need and MORE. You cant beat their knowledge and attention to detail with every job. Good pricing too. Window washing? Check. Lawn mowing? Check. Landscape design? Check. Fences? Check. Remove trees? Check. Sprinkler systems? Double check. I had some sprinkler issues and assumed I had to dig everything up and re-line my entire yard. Upon discussion with Josh, I learned that the fix was a lot less complicated than I thought. He sent his guys over (friendly, competent people I had no worries about) and they were done in no time. Theres something to be said about a company thatll do whats needed and not suggest things that will serve no other purpose than to make them more money. Hard to find a good, honest, take-care-of-all-your-needs-and-not-sell-you-something-you-dont place. Ill be using them over and over moving forward - and have already sent my good friends their way. You wont be disappointed.

Josh is really friendly and makes me feel like he is trying to be honest with his customers. His workers seem to do good work, and try to work quickly. I find their rates fair (though im sure we all wish everything was cheaper). He might need your help to remember to call you back, so if he hasnt called you back, you should follow up with him.

This is bar none the best landscape company I have had to use for my yard. I hired them to fix my terrible draining mess in my backyard that the home builder would not touch. I was amazed at their follow up. When I first called them I received a call back within 10 minutes of leaving a message. Thats unheard of in my experience when dealing with landscapers. Good work for good prices. Will use for any future yard project.

I found Crystal view landscaping from an ad in the paper. I had know idea who they were! Josh answers his phone and now a days that is half of it. I cant tell you how many guys I called that dont return phone calls let alone answer. He came out, accessed the job and gave me his opinion. He brought out samples that were perfect for our home. He emailed me the quote and we agreed on the price. This is always the easy part. Now the install! We had to wait a few weeks but anyone that is any good you have to. They tore out ground cover the whole length of our drive way and the weed fabric. We replaced it with rock. He had three guys here, it was hot and they worked hard. It took them all day long. We had left over rock in the road which I didnt want left there overnight. Josh came back that night and cleaned everything up. YES ! I recommend this company, Josh takes pride in his company and made sure we were happy. Thank you!

I called Josh to get an estimate on some work I needed done in my backyard. He took my information and scheduled a time to come see our property the next day. He never showed up and never called. Very unprofessional.

Josh and team did a tremendous job in my backyard! I had a large amount of unusable space down a steep hill in my yard that they absolutely transformed. When planning the project I wasnt sure exactly what I needed and Josh stepped up with some great suggestions, he really listened to my overall vision for the space and brought it to life by working out the details for me. They installed rock stairs, two flagstone patios, and built a rock retaining wall that doubles as seating area. It is stunning and Josh didnt hesitate to fine-tune the project and make corrections/changes along the way. The heavy work was done this spring and they are back now installing sprinklers and sod, which I did not include in the original project. Again, very quick to adjust the project and address my concerns. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.

I had beautiful stone steps and boulder retaining wall put on the side of my house leading to my back yard. I was most delighted to their strong drive to get the project done fast without inconveniencing me. They never blocked my driveway and always left things super clean. They came even when it was windy and snowing. They were innovative, clean and respectable young men that never wasted time. I appreciate this as I have had other companies promise me a week and take a month while leaving my property in shambles. Thanks Crystal View!

WOW-----When I looked out my back door a couple of days ago, I was in shock. Man, does it look better. Thanks a bunch. CRYSTAL VIEW LANDSCAPING did a fabulous job with my back yard and front yard. The job was done very timely and within budget. I was so embarrassed by my back yard. My husband passed a few years ago and the yard was his way of relaxation. All of my children have homes of their own and are busy, except my oldest son, who comes every week-end to see what I need done. But, how was he to bag up all those leaves out there, haul in 7 yards of top soil and spread it and plant 24 bushes for me, haul in 1 yard of rocks, trim a tree in my back yard and still have time to do the mowing, edging, and cleaning up plus all he has to do for himself. I just picked CRYSTAL VIEW out of the yellow pages, and this is why I would like to give a review on them which would have helped me. Josh Beckstrom, the President of Crystal View came to my house within 15 minutes to give me a free bid when I called him. I was so surprised. Usually it will take someone days to come. I couldn t be happier with the service by Josh and his team. They were such a pleasure to work with. From the start, Josh was friendly, informative and patient. I don t know much about landscaping, plants etc and he was happy to answer all my questions and provide suggestions that were suitable for my home and budget. He even got the bushes at half the price that a garden center was going to charge me. He takes pride in his work and aims to please. His team was friendly and always flexible through the process and respectful of my home. The crew made sure to clean up after they were done. This is how all businesses should take care of their customers! We are landlords and live out of state, and we contacted Crystal View for a sprinkler repair on our rental home. We got a great quote PLUS he was willing to repair a few broken boards on the deck in the back.
