2024 Update - Based upon our experience in 2023, we opted to have Traditional come back this summer to redo are front walkway/steps and redesign the landscaping around the front of the house. Again, Traditional Landscaping was top notch - from the early design phase, to communication about timing and execution of the job. Everything came out beautifully! Once again, I'll say that we would absolutely recommend them to anyone! Original Review: We can't say enough about how good Traditional Landscaping is! We had a hardscape patio installed July 2023 and we couldn't be happier. Every stage of the process, from the scoping and quote generation, scheduling, and install was a positive experience. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly professional and communicative; from the owner, Mike, to Scott, the crew lead, and all the team members who worked on the patio. They communicated clearly when the job would start, showed up every day right on time, and were very quick to respond to any feedback we had. We would definitely recommend Traditional Landscaping to anyone interested in having work done!

I used Traditional Landscaping to hardscape a good portion of my backyard around an existing pool and apron. Everyone on the team from the owner, Mike, all the way down to the workers were fantastic. They listened to what I wanted and delivered! Scott, the onsite foreman, was absolutely outstanding. We recently used Traditional Landscaping for a landscaping and hardscaping job. The owner and manager were so easy to work with from the design process all the way through the finishing touches. They were engaged--understanding what would compliment the design of the house, suit our taste, and meet practical needs. And they were also responsive and flexible as the project unfolded. The hardscape team was very pleasant to work with--they worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently. The project was completed very quickly...and now all I want to do is sit on my front porch and look at my yard! We are so pleased with this project and absolutely would recommend Traditional Landscaping to anyone looking for a landscape and hardscape project.

We hired Traditional Landscaping to remove a 20 year old paver walk and patio and replace it with updated pavers and expanded patio, install a new channel drain in front of our garage and reroute some other drain pipes. We looked at 4 or 5 other companies before we decided to go with Mike Smith. We made our decision on a number of things: references, seeing his previously done work, timeliness in getting quotes, answering questions etc., his construction knowledge, and a price that was competitive. The first time we met with Mike we were extremely impressed how he came across and his knowledge about the proper way to install pavers. No other company was going to do all that he proposed. He started our project the week before Thanksgiving which turned out to be one of the worst weather weeks to begin our project. Between the cold, wind and then snow, his team worked in extremely harsh conditions. Mike originally said the job would take 5-6 days but they lost 2 days due to weather. We left the Tuesday before Thanksgiving and he said the job would be finished when we returned that weekend. When we did return, we were blown away with the job that they had done. Mike over delivered with what he promised at no additional cost. Hiring Traditional Landscaping for our project was one of the best decisions we ever made. They were a pleasure to work with. There is absolutely no way you can go wrong with the crew of Traditional Landscaping and Mike Smith.
