Horrible broke sprinkler system do not trust cleaning up my yard Ernie came out and gave me a quote to clean up my yard they were horrible and never finished the job. Office person Danny yelled at me and called me a mean person instead of managing the employees Taking staff side that lied to her. Very unprofessional rip off company Ernie told me things that were not written in contract that I signed on an iPad without actually being able to read Dont sign a contract you cant read. Its too early to tell, but so far so good. The billing was a challenge with a lack of communication & a misunderstanding. All is well now. My yard is uneven with stumps and roots so they do a good job of maneuvering around that. I like that they get in and out with a crew.

Under contract did not show up half the time all way had to call to find out when they would show up. I paid Aprail 20 to May 20 no money back cause under contract!! I canceld NO MONEY BACK. Thats a lot of money down the drain!!!!

Good work, when they showed up. I had to call to remind them several times, to complete scheduled lawnmowing. Got charged for services, that were not completed. Quite frustrating, personally this experience has presented Besyway as an unreliable service/company.

For the owners of this company, the license plate number is gmp m17. As my daughter and I were at a stop light and the company truck and trailer were beside us on Seminole, there was a young lady using the crosswalk, the guy in the passenger side yelled looking good, looking good. As women, We didn t appreciate that. Women should be able to walk freely without being harassed with disgusting comments. I will never use, or refer this company to my social network. P.S. Corrected the disaster that was our backyard

On the 24th of October, the man doing my yard took a huge limb that fell in my back yard and put it to the street for me. I am a widow and it was too much for me to handle. I appreciated that effort. I do keep track of when my lawn is taken care of each month which is twice a month. I also noticed he sprayed a small area for weeds that needs no mowing to keep it under control.

Bestway became our heros and we could not be happier. The Clearwater Historical Society Museum is working towards opening and getting bids for different projects to open. They came in gave their bid - and knowing we dont have a large budget they broke down the many things we wanted to get done so that we can pay as we get money. We have 5 acres and were planning on a clean up to prepare for an opening. they came in to help at a very small prive compared to how much it wouldve cost. They were going to do two main things for us - ended up going above and beyond - they asked everything we wanted to do and they did them all for us so now our landscaping plan for our opening. Starting out with just using their front loader to remove large items for us so that we didnt have to rent one. They weeded the beds, mowed the lawn and spent 2 1/2 days making our campus ready for the next step. Can not say enough nice things.

If you are looking for cheap service then you found your company but you get what you pay for. I would not reccomend this company for any service. Lazy and forgetful, out of 6 months of service they didnt edge at least 4 times. They do nothing to remove leave except want to charge you more.

I am responsible for the maintenance of a large commercial building. I hired Bestway to take care of the lawn. They show up every week and do an excellent job! If they cant come on the scheduled day, they always come a day or two later to make sure I have service for the week. There are about 100 people going in and out of the building every day. I have never received a complaint from any of them.I highly recommend Bestway.

This guy drives like a maniac! Tailgating and weaving in and out of traffic while to towing his lawn equipment with large cans of gasoline. Drive safer and you wont get one star reviews!

They never show up when they say they will, they charged my account and didnt perform the service, they wont call me back, they wont email me back. WORST SERVICE EVER. DONT USE!

I usually do my own lawn, but have used them in past for projects here and there. I thought the work was done well each time.

Horrible service, terrible work, unresponsive, and sneaky. Sod died within 2 weeks of install because it was done incorrectly. They only care about the money. I would give zero stars if possible.

Worst lawn company I ve ever worked with. They responded promptly to give a quote, but that s only because they want your money. Worst customer service I ve had to deal with. They don t show up for weeks at a time and allow your lawn to become overgrown and unsightly. When they finally show up, they don t complete all the tasks discussed and are very sloppy, filling our flower beds with grass. When I called (multiple times) to address this the gentleman in the office is extremely rude and acted like I was outrageous for requesting all services I was paying for be completed AND they show up weekly, again as paid for. This company is nothing but a scam. Horrible service. If I could rate a zero I would.

I agree with all of the one star reviews. I wish I never signed a contract with this company. The owner was very charming, and promised to cut the grass every other week. The people that came out the first time did a poor job and left grass trimmings all over my driveway and my gate open. Then they never showed up again as promised. I tried calling a whole bunch of times and no one got back to me. My grass is extremely overgrown. He finally responded and said the grass is too wet. It constantly rains in Florida and people mow anyways. I dont understand his thinking.

Ive had Bestway doing my lawn almost 2 months. The first month thay only came once when I was scheduled for weekly service. When I called thay said they were behind because of the rain. Then they sent out some guy in a beat up truck to start doing my lawn, not the lawn crew that came out the first time. He weed wacked my grass down to the roots. Scalped my St Augistine lawn. The guy did not know how to properly care or cut a lush St Augustine lawn. Very unsatisfied with this company. Stay away from Bestway nothing best about them.

I have been with bestway lawn service for over a year the worst service ever first two months I had on the only came out and cut the grass twice called begged for them to come out trying to give him some more chances so when the rainy season sit in and it rained there for a long time never bothered on or nothing because I knew the grass was too wet so finally two weeks later after things and dried up call them again trying to get them out here took me two more weeks to get them to cut the grass so after that it has not rained here for 2 weeks they should have been out here last week did not show up so I guess on Monday I will have to call and see when theyre coming the guy in the office name Don is very rude they say they have trackers on their trucks they act like their customers are liars I get tired of paying for a service that I have to beg somebody to come out and cut the grass I have always paid them well in advance they sent my bill out for September and we have not showed up any of the month of September but of course the guy in the office Don is going to be rude talk about no customer servicehopefully when I speak to them on Monday we can figure out and get me out of their contract this is the worst service ever all these ones on here people please believe them dont listen to anybody else because it is true if somebody is on here that gives them a good review it would have to be one of your family members or something or maybe a big business because believe me I never complained and I have give them a whole year trying hopefully that they would just cut the grass . it is now 520 pm on Monday 09/16/2019. no phone call or no one came out to cut the grass for your information William I did go to a different company so you better think you need to think twice about when you hire people . and the owner never did contact me so good luck

I highly recommend Bestway Lawn Care for all of your landscaping and maintenance needs! I called Bestway last minute to help my mom out with her yard, which was out of control horrible. Not only did they show up two days later they transformed her once drab yard and made it fabulous! They service my lawn consistently and we cannot say enough great things about them and their work.Thanks Bestway for taking care of not only me but my mom too and doing an awesome job every time!

Have only had them come out one time to do yard, was supposed to be here every other Thursday but never showed up today, never received a call and can not get them on the phone or get them to call back, last week they called saying the workers told them I said don t come back, which on that same day I paid them 50.00 so why would I say don t come back, later come to find out it was a neighbor down the street.... customer service isn t important with them. A phone call explaining why my yard has yet to be cut would have been nice, as a business owner myself customer satisfaction is one major piece of the puzzle!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I ve had them for only a couple of months and they never blow the dead cut grass off my lawn. My lawn looks dirty and dead each time they cut the grass. I call, straight to voicemail. I leave messages and no one returns my call. I even went as far as sending them an email through their website and still nothing. I want to cancel but now I basically have to make sure I m home to meet them when they try to cut my grass next.

I sent Bestway a request for a quote. I was called immediately and they came out to my home within the hour to give me the free estimate. We used them for a Full Clean Up. We are extremely satisfied with the professionalism of the staff and the excellent job they did on our yard. We were so impressed we signed up for weekly lawn care.

Bestway has been my lawn care provider for over four years. They ve always done a great job and have asked many times if there is anything else they can help with while onsite. Either trimming bushes or pulling weeds etc. I ve been very satisfied.

Had new lawn installed and Ernie assured me if there was any problems he would come and look at it. I called twice and no responce,yard was yellowing some spots and wanted him to look at it. I need to be able to trust what a person says.

We have had a great experience with Bestway taking care of our lawn for over 5 years. This week they did a fantastic job cleaning out brush and shaping our hedge. They are very friendly and they take the time to get the job done right. We highly recommend them.

Every time this company came to service my yard (quotes because in two months service hack been completed twice when we pay for twice a month) we had to call a crew back every time, now on the last day I have to giant piles of leaves in my front yard and driveway and the receptionist whoever he is hangs up on an upset customer who all they want is is for the people to do their jobs and him to do his and hold people acoutable. The gentleman then complained that over the month there was so much leaves that he felt we werent being charged enough. This is a horindous way to run a business when the crew sit in their trucks near the address and say they did the work!

Completely destroyed the yard deploying inexperienced people which did not talk to their sales for a correct description of the job. Palm trees were destroyed. Very frustrating

They rarely show up when theyre supposed to. When they do come to service our yard they sit in the truck by the road and wait to see if anyone is home to decide if theyre going to work or not. I pulled up to my house the other other day and there they are sitting out front like its brake time. I go into my house and wait to see if theyre going to cut the yard and one person gets out to blow a few leaves off the drive way then they leave. This has happened more than once. If you complain about it they send out emails with excuses for their actions avoiding any kind of confrontation. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!!

HORRIBLE!! DO NOT CALL BESTWAY. In only 4 months I have called them over 15 times to see why they did not arrive. Don the owner is a liar and never tells the truth. Crew rarely arrives without me calling. Ernie the sales guy will NEVER return phone calls. He hides behind his cell phone. This is the WORST lawn company I have ever dealt with...Customer service is a joke. NEVER hire these idiots at Bestway...Plus they still owe me a lawn cutting job.

Went on vacation, they didnt show up at all for 2 weeks. Before that,had trouble with them showing up after paying the the monthly bill, in total they owe me at least 3 weeks of mowing.Try calling them and you get a recording and no reply.STEER CLEAR THEY STICK

I have a property out of state that I hired them to maintain the lawn for. This company is a complete scam. They would invoice me and never show up. They would tell me they were there even while I was there thinking I wouldnt know because I lived out of state. They tried to tell me that they took care of the lawn on Friday- I arrived Sunday & it looked like it hadnt been touched in months. Being I told them when I would be there you would think they would be smart enough to at least show up- but nope, they werent. There services were scheduled for twice a month. My neighbors said they hardly ever saw them. Do not let the sales guys who are very likable win you over. They are theifs. Four months after I fired them they billed me again. Obviously used to billing me without providing any services. Trust the reviews- unless you like paying for nothing.

here is something new never hired this company and they showed up and mowed my lawn way to short last Friday 9/22 called on Monday talked with Don and he said someone would call still no call and when I got home today they had mowed my neighbors yard and blew grass clipping all over my car and up into my driveway very sad workmanship would never hire them for anything here are some pics showing the quality or the lack of quality that you can expect from this not so professional company

Super Great!!! They have been taming the Bougainvilles for a while and they always do such a nice job. And what they did for us after hurricane Irma I could never say thank you enough. As long as I have a yard-they will be taking care of it.

Just hired these guys and the first cut they did not do everything they were suppose to. The guy gave some story about they would spray weed killer and then come back next time to pull them. There will be no next time. Its hard top find anyone now a days who wants to work hard.

I have been using Bestway Lawncare since 2006 when we bought our home in Clearwater. They have done wonderful with everything. When I needed something extra, ex.- trees trimmed, mulch, wild bushes cut down, anything, they were there promptly and did a wonderful job. Cliff and Ernie are great! Reasonable pricing and a great job! Highly recommend.

Bestway just finished landscaping our front yard. Purchased the home in Dec 14 and nothing had been done for quite some time to the yard. It now compliments the house and the neighbors are all coming out to tell us how great it looks. They are the nicest, friendliest people and answered all my questions. I recommend this company to anyone needing landscaping.

I have left several messages for Mr. Hill, and all I get is a message or email from the office - Don. The problems I have at both home and commercial property are completely documented. Maybe this will get a call back from Cliff. I doubt it.

We hired Bestway to make a retaining wall and to clean up the bird of paradise in our backyard. The estimator had sent us pictures of the brick choices. After picking one, he came out to have us approve the paperwork. Apparently he had brought a brick at that time which was not shown to or discussed with me, the man says my husband said sure. Well, when they came I saw it was not the same and there was a dip in the wall. When I went outside to talk with him the estimator was there supervising and began arguing with me that it was the same as the picture (no, no it wasnt) I really wasnt happy and said they may have to take it back. That is the time in which he had a temper-tantrum and told the guys to stop, pack up and left without finishing. They tore up the wooden frame and did not replace it and left what they had cut from the bird of paradise all over the backyard. Even if I had agreed to the brick personally. If a customer doesnt like something. You make it right. I dont know if he thought he could railroad me because Im a woman but I have rarely met someone so ridiculously poor in customer service. He should be ashamed of himself for behaving that way and literally walked off from the discussion while I was holding my baby in my arms. I wasnt yelling or anything, I just wasnt going to pay big bucks for something I wasnt happy with. The employee was polite however and apologized for the mans behavior saying for what its worth. I cant blame the two guys just doing their job. Just be forewarned about what you are getting into and you may want your husband present when using this company...but I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Found them on HomAdvisor...I should have read the google reviews!!! P.S. My husband told the owner when he spoke to him that he would talk to me about the resolution. He did not however promise that I would take down MY review. No matter what discount was offered the incident happened and I have never been treated so poorly by any company in my life. My philosophy is if you want better reviews improve your service and/or change the people who are working for you.

I hired Cliff to come and take care of our landscaping needs, our garden was overgrown and unkempt. His staff tidied everything up, cutting down the dead leave on the palms, and put down crushed shell. The garden now looks amazing! Cliff was very professional and his staff were on time did a great job and were very polite. I even asked them to re-lay some pavers which hadnt been in the original quote and they did that for me and did a really good job. I would recommend :)

Well, I wish i would have read these reviews before I signed the contract. Ernie the sales rep was super tenacious and kind. I told him I would need to know when they would be there so I could open the gates as I have dogs, scoop the poop and all...good client etiquette. Ernie wrote on the contract to have corporate call and let me know when they would be arriving. Ernie said worst case scenario they would do the front if I was not home. Big red flag there. Per our contract, I am paying them to cut, edge, trim and blow the front AND back...the front only being cut would not be OK. Today the men (who were very nice) came to do the lawn without any notice from anyone. I called Ernie at which he had no time for me. The men were here about 20 minutes and the backyard was left unblown. I texted Ernie the pics and stated that I would clean up this time, but hoped this was not a sign of things to come. He said No they squeezed you in today. What does that have to do with not blowing the backyard????? That was a really ignorant response. So, they have breached their contract and we are at day one. It is a time factor for sure, I am sure they are only allowed so much time per cut and had to rush out. Ernie best not be getting smart with me as that is the feeling I am getting. Kind one day and nasty the next. He got my credit card info, now I am not his problem. Ernie also promised me it would be the same day every week. Reading the posts here on Google Plus, I am now concerned about that. I will give it another week and then give my written 30 day notice if needed. PS On a good note, they shut my gate.

I hired Bestway Lawn care in June, 2014, to mow my lawn. By mid June the crew using a weed eater ( incorrectly) shattered my sliding glass door panel. Yes, they did send a glass co. to repair it and they said they would take care of the invoice. By mid July the crew shattered the gate used to enter my back yard. When I reported this incident they refused to acknowledge they needed to replace my gate. They wont take my phone calls, but let my number go to voice mail. The owner through an employee asked I write a letter stating what I think his co. did to my gate. I complied. I sent pictures, emails, letters, Ive sent am estimate for replacement gate. I am not acknowledged in anything I do or say. So I had to fire this company. Only then were a few months free service offered me. I want my gate replaced and I will settle for nothing less. Hire this company if you feel you need to, but beware of the hassle that may become pivotal in your life concerning your lawn care. I still have a broken and now shoddy looking gate since July 17....

Bestway gave us a really good price on landscaping our property, their employees were very professional and polite. The best part was that the property looks fantastic, we have decided to continue to use Bestway. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. STAY AWAY!!!! CLIFF HILL DOES NOT BELIEVE IN SHARPENING HIS LAWNMOWER BLADES. THE CREW WILL ALSO DO QUICK STOPS AND TURNS IN YOUR YARD AND CREATE DEEP GOUGES WITH THE ZERO RADIUS MOWER. I GAVE CLIFF THE OPPORTUNITY TO FIX THE PROBLEMS AND HE FAILED. HES FIRED. Very unprofessional. Not reliable. Does NOT schedule appropriately. Calls the day of and says they will be at your house without any consideration for what your schedule is for that day. At least a days notice would be sufficient. Don, very unprofessional and rude on telephone. I had bamboo removal in my backyard and he sends a fellow that is allergic to bamboo!!!! WOW......I wont say anymore. Beware.............

Dont use this company unless you like to repeat yourself over and over again and expect that the service will change. I contacted the owner over several months for improvements to issues that never were resolved.
