Great service! Great people!

I tried using their service, but they require a 50% deposit and refused to work with me. Thats a lot of money to come out of pocket for work that hasnt even been done yet(6-8 weeks before they can do the work). We are talking thousands of dollars deposit. A lot of people dont have that kind of money laying around, hence the financing. They offer financing thru a third party but still wanted the 3rd party to release the funds to them before the work was ever done, which amounts to a 100% deposit for them. The 3rd party even advised not to release the funds until the work is done. I also asked to see a drawing of their proposal but they refused saying that people steal their designs. Im sure they do good work, but you obviously have to be rich to use their service. Guess Ill find someone that actually wants business or do it myself.

Once again Southern Landscape Solutions did a great job. Did 2 projects in 1 day...sod in our backyard and a paver patio out front. They didnt quit even when it started lightly raining. Every one of these guys is polite and respectful of our property. Not to mention theyre hard workers. Cleaned up everything thoroughly before they left. I hired Southern Landscape Solutions after reading all of the positive reviews. They were extremely professional and responsive from my initial reach out. They came out, discussed in detail what I liked/didn t like and what would do well in my space. They drew up a plan for me, attached photos of each plant and flower and worked with me to tweak things or talk through things I didn t understand. A few months later I didn t love how some of the plants were spaced out which we couldn t tell when it was first planted and Jamie came out by herself within two days and we discussed and she moved a few around until both her and I were happy. You can tell she really cares and gave me some pointers on how to trim and maintain everything. She also gave me some ideas for the side yard that I could do on my own. I would highly recommend the entire team. Couldn t be happier.

I called and they had some girl that answered the phone that really wasn t familiar with Fla. Make a long story short she said that they were only come out if it s $4000 and up? Really? If you re going to have someone that answers the phone really gonna have to know what they re saying and are you really going to refuse business at this time when the economy is so bad where everything is a mess and you re only one $4000 a business please . Get a straight folks are you gonna lose a lot of people.

Southern Landscaping graded an area surrounding my pool and installed landscape fabric with a crushed shell overlay. Additionally, Southern Landscaping planted a number of large and beautiful palm trees around the perimeter of property giving my backyard a completely new and tropical look. The team members were professional and the work performed was of high quality. Southern Landscaping has my recommendation for landscape construction projects.

I needed a house downpipe extended underground about 12 ft. Drake did the total sales job on me raving about their quality work. We agreed on a price and he said he would get back to me in a day or two with a schedule. Its been two weeks and two messages to him and I have not heard from him! I would hate to think what kind of response you would get if you had a problem with his work!

If you are looking for a professional company, this is it. I am very lucky that we found this company. They answer any question and answer even if it s on a Sunday. The crew is great , they work their tails off and do a great job. I only wish I would have found them earlier.

Everyone we encountered, from the owners (who did the initial evaluation and estimate), to the project managers, to the guys in the trenches were friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and prompt. Excellent communication as well (in reference to rain/storm delays, etc) Definitely worth every penny to have our beautiful result!

UPDATE: they are fixing the issue putting another pipe towards the road now. I updated their rating .. This company installed french drain after which the area has flooded. They have put the pipe the wrong way. This morning their worker came in , was very rude. During installation I told him that he is putting the pipe wrong way against the slope to which he didnt agree and I ended up paying extra. And he behaves as if he is very knowledgeable. To say the least, the worker just took off today without doing any work. The company said that they will take care of my issue. Lets see what happens ...

I have worked with Drake & Howard at SLS on multiple projects and they have always provided excellent service! The pricing is right in line but the service is wayyyy above par for the landscaping industry.
