Living on a ranch, the Colorado spruce, with the twinkly mini-lights and topper, can be seen for a great distance. It also serves a beacon to our otherwise tricky to find, Airbnb. Brian was quick to fix any hiccups and excels in customer service, no wonder they have an A+ rating with BBB!

Maddison & the guys got our abandoned sprinkler system up & running again! They worked well as a team, were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I appreciated them taking the time to explain each phase as well as walk me through their process. I highly recommend!

We planted bushes and trees along some areas of our garden this year. One was mowed over a few months ago so we added a ton of mulch and stones around them to make them more visible. Now my second tree berry tree has been mowed down. I hope our stones damaged your equipment because the people who work here are damn near blind. 100$+ in damage. Those bushes might put out new growth but I doubt they can strengthen enough to survive the winter now. Those plants were nurtured back to health through an entire month of graupel and hail storms and survived everything this summer has thrown at them only to be cut down to the root by these imbeciles we invited into our personal space.

Disappointed that I have to write this review, but after being a customer for seven years, Tough Guys does not honor their word. I am fully capable of turning my system on each spring, but was told years ago that any damage that results from freezing will not be covered if I do not have them turn on the system each spring after having them winterize. This summer, one of our valves had freeze cracking and burst, but TG will not cover this fix as they said they did not see it damaged this spring. In the years I have had TG turn on my system, never have I seen a technician check the valve boxes when turning the system on each spring, so its no surprise they did not see this problem. After noticing our water bill doubling in a month, I had TG come check out what was going on and at first replaced my sprinkler head that didnt need replaced and said nothing was wrong, but after convincing them that doesnt make any sense and there must be some other problem, they found the issue. The technician that repaired my valve told me this was clearly from a freeze event, which did not happen during the summer, so it clearly occurred this winter, but went unnoticed until the water bill increased significantly. TG is happy to take your money, but will not stand by the work they do. I would not recommend this company and would encourage others to look elsewhere.

Tough Guys has taken care of our holiday lighting for the last 2 years. We absolutely love their work and they approach the job in a professional manner. They are wonderful to work with.

Tough Guys installed my Christmas lights this year. They were professional, responsive and explained all of my options. They were available should I have any problems, but I didnt. I highly recommend them.

Editing my original review. Used their service for 2 years, they did a good job, even through pandemic, reasonably priced. Had them build me a fence, great work there! This year 2022 though, I get a call and they leave a message saying they aren t offering me a service this year. Not due to cost, or lack of workers, just that they are to tired to do my yard when they get to it. If it had been due to cost I would of paid the increase, but nope not even offered, just too tired to do it. By the way, 85% of it was mowed with a riding mower, that you sit down to use. So this has made me lower my score to a 3, cause if they aren t too tired, they do a good job!

From the bottom of my heart: HELL YEAH!!! There is a Tough Gal head tech, and she is awesome!!! Today we had a nice guy come to our house, and noticed the previous guy who came made a sequence of errors, and realized he had to call his head tech. They worked really well together. He treated her with a lot of deference and respect, and she ended up coming in person to help him, despite her full schedule as well. I was so happy, I gave her a girl power high-five :) I am also a young woman in a male dominated field, so I know what it feels like to come into a room where people are disappointed to see me, doubt my abilities and rank, because they have a preconceived notion of a Tough Guy. I also know what it feels like to have to prove yourself twice as hard every day, especially if you are in charge. I love that this company is supporting her and putting a person in charge based on her ability. We are moving, but if we werent, that alone would make us customers for life.

I am very pleased with Tough Guys! They came out early this past spring to re-evaluate and repair a sprinkler system, long in disuse from the previous property owner. Kayden was a new employee, but came knowledgeable and able to make things work - the 1st time. When I ve asked for additional services to refine the operation, Kayden came to patiently educate us and help us make solid decisions. Now he s been back today to do our winter shut-down and again helped me make appropriate decisions for next spring. This company employs quality people who are really good at their jobs. I would recommend Tough Guys to anyone in the Laramie area seeking lawn care services.

Tough Guys installed Christmas lights for me and did a fantastic job! We ended up deciding to keep the lights up all year round and not just for Christmas. We love Tough Guys holiday lights! They are beautiful, quick, friendly, and reliable. We love the ease of having our home be bright and cheery without ever having to climb a ladder in the Laramie wind. Our first year, they even squeezed us in EARLY after finding out we had children who were looking forward to seeing our house decorated. We will use this service as long as they have it available.

I don t typically write reviews but I was so blown away by my holiday lighting experience with tough guys that I want to share it! I truly believe they are the best lighting service in Laramie and it made such a difference in our joy this season! Their light selection has such variety, I was shocked at all of the colors and style options I had to choose from! It s not just the run-of-the-mill lights I used to put up every year, I was so excited because I chose bright vibrant colors that Weren t available from anywhere or anyone else! The clarity of their lights is unlike any other Christmas lights I found before- they really are the brightest lights on our whole block. It s fun to drive around town and recognized which homes were installed by tough guys holiday lighting because they are unmistakable for their brightness and precision! Their technicians were so timely and trustworthy. They were friendly to work with and actually seemed glad to be there installing my tough guys lights. And even better, when it was time to take them down it was so seamless and smooth. It made a process that is usually a headache to deal with on my own around the holidays some thing that was actually such a joy! I was so excited for November to come and have them install my lights again! It will be a tradition every year and a great gift idea.

Nice work! The Tough Guys designed and set up Christmas Lights on the front of our house last year. They strung them up in a way that accents the roof line. We loved that. More, we also took advantage of their service that can include storing the lights you purchase and then re-installing them each year going forward. Thats the best part!

This was the first year my wife and I have used ToughGuys for Christmas lights. They were very professional, and understanding of what we wanted for our home. The results were fantastic. I couldn t believe my eyes when I came home from work, at night, and saw the lights for the first time. My neighbors were envious and wanted to know who did the great job. I have used Tough Guys for different services (seasonal yard work, rock landscaping and holiday lighting). They have always been easy to work with. They are professional and prompt. Quality work. Also, very easy to communicate with, both with the people in the office as well as those who discuss the work and schedule it. Highly recommend.

Today (June 28, 2021) I had the pleasure of getting to observe specialist-employee Conlon of Tough Guys Lawn Care approach and solve a series of problems with the sprinkler system that have plagued my yards in Laramie. He approached the issues intelligently with experience and the appropriate tools. I was especially pleased with the openness of his diagnostic logic, which he clearly expressed as he worked. Conlon discovered an important error of omission in the map I had developed summarizing system-wide positions and relationships of the sprinkler heads. The problems were complex enough (e.g., involving circuitry of the system-control units) that solving the causative issue itself was beyond my abilities. In my opinion, Tough Guys holds a treasure in the employment of Conlon.

They set up an appointment for one of their free estimates and blew off the appointment. You call them up and no one you need to talk to is ever around. Finally I was able to talk to one of the guys in charge who told me that they couldnt possibly look at the job they promised to look at for at least two and a half months. So if I could give them less than one star for reliability and customer service I would. Hey I get it lawn Care people are busy right now but if youre too busy to live up to your obligations maybe you need to not make those obligations. Definitely not a place Id recommend. And these folks came recommended to us by people that we really trust so maybe The times they are a changin...

Worth being put on the waiting list they came out last week to do my lawn and it looks amazing I couldnt be happier they way it turned out they everythingwe askedthe rocks the sod and sprinkler system. They kept us updated on everything and kept within the estimate they gave. Definitely recommend them

I live at Sun Chase village in laramie. Your crew is responsible for the lawn care and snow removal. Your mowing abilities are below average at best. Leaving patches of tall grass, and not removing the clippings as you cut kills the green grass. I would consider your snow removal business even worse. I dont belive there was a single snow storm I didnt have to shovel the walk around my apartment. Just for your crew to come threw mid morning with shovels and get paid to do nothing. Also it took 3 days for your crew to show up and shovel the parking lot with the big storm this spring. The residents of the apartments had to remove the snow themselves just to get there cars out and go to work. Which Im sure you still got paid for. I was not going to leave a comment, but you tried to undermine the authenticity of my review by saying I do not have an account with you. I would NOT reccomend Tough Guys services

Tough Guys is a great business! Theyve been responsive when we needed help and were very reasonably priced! I cant thank Brian and his crew enough! We will definitely be using them again in the future!

Tough Guys Lawn Care completed our new build landscaping. A job which included some stone work, irrigation system install, and tree/shrub planting. We are VERY happy with the result. The service and communication along the way was terrific. Ridge and his crew were professional, knowledgable, and answered any questions we had while making recommendations for future care and design.

They won t call me back and have nothing available for this year in terms of lawn service.

We hired Tough Guys to build a backyard fence. In the past, our experience had only been positive. In fact, we recommended TG to friends at UW. The fence, however, is another story: shoddy materials, building part of the fence over the existing sprinkler system, and inexperienced fence builders. The fence is barely one-year plus and already showing structural damage. To be fair, Brian has visited the site and Ridge should replace the broken areas. In November. My wife visited the office in May. This is an expensive fence, we had expected far more from these guys, and I am waiting to see if Ridge does come calling in November. These are good guys but not structurally informed about fencing in a timely and constructive fashion.

Ive used Tough Guys Lawn Care for a few years to take care of the lawns at our rentals. I really like their summer care package. They mow, fertilize, trim trees and bushes, and perform weed management. I didnt have to worry about the lawns all summer and the properties looked good. That is really valuable to me. I highly recommend the weekly lawn care plan.

Tough Guys did an excellent job on a spring clean up of a house we are prepping to sell! They provided a full yard revamp including trimming the bushes and small trees. They even restacked the firewood to make it look nice! Thanks team for the hard work, its much appreciated.

Shockingly poor performance and service. My mom hired tough guys for a job over a year ago. Its still not done. 12 months after she had paid half up front, she finally got her backyard fence.... however she paid for a deck and the front yard... which would apparently wait an entire YEAR. When they did the fence a year later, she was apologized to about how they had overbooked and yet they still hadnt applied for the permits for her porch... Then they said they were waiting on the wood for the porch.... seriously, a year later.... and now 18 months after the original contract, she still waits for the porch although the front sod (a day of work) and the back fence (a day of work) has been completed. If I wasnt overseas for work, I couldve gone to home depot in Cheyenne and done this job in half the time on my weekends. FFS. Its embarrassing. Is this the best Laramie has to offer?

So first off I didnt even have there service the property next to mine did. But what they did to my property that I rent from a nice lady is Unacceptable and I would not recommend them to anybody after this. Instead of coming and knocking on our door to check to see if it was okay to move the water hose that my landlord laid out around her plants they just throw it into the middle of my yard and cut down half of the plants there planted on the edge of the property line. Im highly disappointed in the lack of commen sense and courtesy displayed here.

We have been using Tough Guys at all of our rental properties in Laramie for over 6 years now and our experience has been great. They take care of landscaping needs such as weed spraying, mowing, and sprinkler systems as well as snow plowing and shoveling in the winter. Whenever there are issues with anything the office managers handle it quickly and professionally. We take great pride in maintaining our properties and Tough Guys plays a huge role in making that possible for us.

My overall experience was fantastic! I scheduled an appointment at 10am with Tough Guys to winterize my sprinklers and the technician promptly arrived at 10am. He was very quick and professional. I would highly recommend Tough Guys for all of their lawn care services.

Since moving to Laramie a year ago, we have used Tough Guys for several projects, including cutting and removing sod, preparing a gravel area for a backyard shed, building a fence, re-designing and repairing a sprinkler system and blowing out sprinkler lines. They have done impeccable work every time, and the end result is always fantastic. Their employees are professional and considerate, and the attention to detail is impressive. Mikey and Brian truly care about their customers, and they are some of the finest people you will ever meet. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Tough Guys has been fantastic to help with my commercial clients. They are on top of it and are always there to help me when I have problems. I have had a few issues, but with communication they got it resolved quickly.

If I could give zero stars I would. The amount of money we paid did not match the quality of work that was provided. We had to call several times to ask them to come fix items. They would not give us a time frame of when it would be fixed. Once they completed the work it was not done to satisfaction. We found several boards on our fence that were not properly secured. I then received the Bill with a Huge Past Due stamped on it. Customer service was terrible and the quality of work was just as bad. I would avoid them at all costs.

I want to give Brian at Tough Guys kudos for reaching out with regard to my frustrations and this review. It was good to hear that Tough Guys is under new management and is tightening up the ship. I look forward to watching them improve and become a trusted community business again. He has some new processes in place that will hopefully put the company on a new trajectory.

Price and not fare to other companies

I have worked with Tough Guys for several years and they have worked on dozens of our properties over the years and I have been completely satisfied with their work. We have had times where things werent quite right and they were always willing to come back and make sure it was done to our satisfaction. All we had to do was give them a call. Mike and his staff really do try and make things right. We will continue to use Tough Guys for all our new construction needs as well as maintenance on our residential and commercial properties. I would recommend them for all of your landscaping needs. They are also the types of people that if they arent fit do the job they will recommend someone that is and that is a big deal.

Caleb came over to assess our sprinkler system and was very professional and efficient in doing so! Nothing ended up being wrong with it, but he gave us tips along the way of the assessment and was thorough in answering questions and ensuring he had completed what we expected of him during the appt.

I am very amazed at how well Tough Guys service is with their costumers. They are always going above and beyond to make sure their costumers are happy. Even when they are busy on a different project, they still find the time to help another costumer. Their snow removal is top notch, especially keeping up with that big snow storm a few months back.

Tough Guys handles the snow removal at our business. Not sure how they do it (given the amount of snow that falls in Laramie) but they are prompt and do a great job keeping our driveway and parking free and clear of snow and ice. Mike and Brian always go above and beyond. This past July I had a leak in my sprinkler system that cost a small fortune on my water bill. When I reached out; they somehow squeezed me into their already busy schedule, identified the issue, and had it all repaired in the same day. I highly recommend Tough Guys!

They do good work, but they were late getting to the spring service work done. I am going to put the weed and feed on myself. I normally have the first application done weeks ago. All of us in the neighborhood have all done theirs on schedule according to the weather and to catch the spring rains. I am still giving them 5 stars because maybe my address was misplaced on the schedule book

I started calling Tough Guys in April to get estimates for Spring Clean up and regular lawn care. It took a lot of persistence on my part to actually get a quote (clue #1) The quote I received was over priced in my opinion but I wanted to work done so I agreed. Now it s been 5 weeks of me BEGGING them to come do the work (clue#2) and them telling me next week everytime (clue # 3,4 &5). Today we received an invoice in the mail for the work I BEGGED them to do but . . . . THEY NEVER DID! I have no idea if you provide good lawn care but you run one terrible business! Don t waste your time or energy on Tough Guys

I Thought i was hiring a professional landscape company but these guys are anything but pros.The job was a remodel of a residential yard, front and back with irrigation. The irrigation was the worst, poor coverage and bad patterning equals dead lawn, the drip lines are exposed on top of the new rock boarder. Not a single straight line with the edging. the trees are to deep and not plumb. Ryan the sale rep. who new very little about landscaping. Pretty responsive at first but as the problems mounted he never answer his phone and voice nail was full. Sent a letter to the owner with full payment and my dis-satisfaction, no response, not surprised.

Don t waste your money on monthly service. I ve had to shovel my commercial property multiple times. And they apparently don t have weekend hours? So I m getting charged for doing the work myself. They are not professionals.

I believe his name was Jake and he came to our home yesterday because we were having sprinkler problems. We were afraid repairs could be extensive but he had us up and running within the hour! He was very efficient, professional, and friendly. We would highly recommend Tough Guys!

These guys do a great job with snow removal! It is such a great experience to wake up after a big snow storm and look out to see the sidewalks already shoveled!
