I call Mulch masters on a Saturday to buy bulk top soil. I gave them some numbers for my project. They said it was probably too much. They recalculated for me , gave me a fare price and scheduled my delivery. They be called on delivery day and let me know they were heading over. The drop off and the entire experience was very easy.
What a terrific experience!!! We called for an estimate. They came within days. Josh (a certified arborist) gave us a reasonable quote on trimming and cutting down of 1 tree. They did the job within 2 weeks. They were EXTREMELY professional!! The clean up was stellar. This is the only service we will use for now on!!!!
Calculator on the website was very helpful. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable , and went to Great Lengths to help me schedule my delivery. Great pricing and assistance. We'll go back again. Would recommend to anyone.
I’ve used them a number of times. They are always professional and very pleasant to deal with. They deliver where you want and when you want. I like the idea that they use recycled wood, rather than putting more garbage in the landfills. Great idea!

A pleasure to do business with. The Operations Manager called me to discuss delivery and was very helpful. The office person called the next morning for payment who was helpful and polite. The delivery women called on her way to my home and then let me know when she was at my home to guarantee the mulch was dropped where expected. All areas of process delivered great customer service.
We had a great first time experience using Mulch Masters. Betty Jo, the salesperson answered all our questions and was professional and polite. The delivery driver was on time and also professional and polite. She dropped the mulch exactly where we wanted it. Mulch Masters had the best price and had the exact color of mulch we needed. I needed some playground mulch at the lady minutes prior to a gathering we were having in our backyard. I called several other places and they were unable to fit us in same-day. I called Mulch Masters and they were able to deliver what we needed within an hour or two. The driver was really patient as he waited for me to finish nursing my baby and move the cars around. The mulch was exactly what I needed and seems to be a great quality for a good price.. Thanks for such a great experience!

Mulchmasters is the only source for mulch that you should consider if you are located in Northwest Indiana or south Chicago areas There customer service representatives like Jordan are all so pleasant and knowledgeable combined with a new email quoting system and its nice to be able to talk to a real person You also wont find better pricing and faster delivery options...as an example I ordered 20 yards of their premium hardwood mulh at $25/yard and will get it same day vs $44/yard and next week from a supplier much closer Combine all this for a much huger selection wether color or hardwood types and its a no brainer

Job well done. You have a backlog only because you are the best in your craft. Piekarski Mulch Masters are a great team of arborists placed safety and respect for property as their priority. Efficiently handling our tree with care. Even cleaned up after themselves and left no mess. Phenomenal!!
They skimp on the color alot. A few years ago it use to be amazing color. Now the color fades super quick. Im not sure if theyre using the pallet grindings with the tree grindings together. But for the last 3 years theyve been not good.

Id give negative stars if I could. This company showed up at the school I work at during student dismissal and was trying to drive up the sidewalk where students were walking to leave for the day. Multiple staff members tried to explain to the owner that it is not currently safe or responsible to drive where kids are walking but he yelled at us and went around us, nearly hitting both children and parents and taking out branches from an overhanging tree that almost hit people. It was wildly irresponsible behavior that put multiple people- many of which were minors- in danger.
We use to love this place, but UNFORTUNATELY, they are insanely pricey now just to dump branches and stumps!!! Now their prices are $85 and up. This is Insane compared to what it use to be. To bad they Lost a customer!!!

Great place great price
The compost they delivered was based on leaves but the leaves were not entirely broken down and there was at least a full bag of garbage that needed to be removed. My grass was grossly contaminated with weeds after applying this mulch and Im stuck with a worse lawn than before I applied the product. Dont invest in bad product or you will pay the price later. I wish I could provide zero stars but this will not allow for that.
