i used to praise them for their good work until they tried to scam me Their tech drove past my house and marked it as complete and billed me for it. I have 24/7 cameras and could prove they didn t do the work. Weedman cancelled the charge but refused to do anything to restore faith. I would have paid for nothing if I didn t call them out. Criminal.

All the staff that I dealt with have been very friendly and helpful. The killing of weeds really worked. My lawn has had a big improvement since using the service.

Weed Man has now done 5 treatments to our lawn. We have extensive clover and butter cups that are invading the yard. So far the weed killer plus the fertilizer is improving the lawn. Each required subsequent visit to eradicate the weeds in the yard is included in your original payment. It is certainly good value for money! Our daughter utilize them and their yard is completely weed free. That is why we are going with Weed Man for our lawn needs. Today Karanbir did an excellent job fertilizing as part of the fall program. And we received notice of two more treatments in the next week: one for aeration & overseeding then another to do more weed killing as it was too rainy today. The associates always welcome themselves when they arrive, always offer advice (I have dogs and they always explain to not let the dogs out on the lawn for xx# hours), and answer any questions I may have. I live next door to a park full of weeds that for years has plaqued my front lawn. I was on my hands and knees on a weekly basis pulling weeds just to keep up. Since taking a chance on Weedman after they cold called me one day, Ive never been happier with my lawn. Im hard pressed to find a weed all summer now. Very friendly employees and great results. If you want a nice weed free healthy lawn, these guys are the answer.

After several years of frustration trying to fix the lawn myself, the Weed Man flyer couldn t have arrived in my mailbox at a better time. This spring i took up The Weed Man on their offer to fix my lawn. They sent a fellow out to assess if it was even repairable. To my surprise they said it was. They ve totally held up their end of the deal. I had them come out to do an extra weed kill in between scheduled visits. No additional charge. This is the best my lawn has looked in several years. The guys are polite and do a good job. I have no issues recommending them.

I have been a client over ten years. While I do find Weedman quite expensive, it is just worth it to pay someone to aerate, take care of weed control, fertilizer and moss control. I always know when they are coming and their technicians are friendly and informative.

This has been my first year with Weed Man Lawn Care. While I have to admit that it might have something to do with the timely rain thats fallen (I dont have an automatic sprinkler, and usually let my lawn go golden), I can also say without fear of contradiction that my lawn has never looked as beautiful as it does now. Not in 40 years. I have a large lawn, and usually theres part of it thats suffering. No more. Im astounded every time I go out. I was expecting to have to put more grass seed down this year because the lawn has been looking so patchy (okay - more patchy than usual!) I dont know where Id put it now! To be fair - Im not sure that the weed deterrent did anything for the dandelions, but it seems to have kept the couch grass (etc) at bay, for which Im very grateful. Ive spent 40 years wishing for a lawn like this, so I guess Ill be continuing with my contract!

Thank you Weedman for helping me with my weed needs. They were professional, punctual, and provided an overall top quality experience. I was talking with one of their drivers and I couldn t help but sympathize. As a construction driver, who works far too many hours to tend to the old ladies garden, and deals with far too many bad drivers while on the road, I appreciate that there are others who can solve the problems I don t have time for. It can be a very frustrating experience commuting so much for work, people cutting you off because you have to go slower on company hours, honking because you re keeping a safe distance or simply another texter and driver not paying attention causing you to aggressively stop. A very frustrating company. After finally having enough of dealing with their extremely pushy sales team, we canceled our service. However, Weed Man continued to harass us by showing up at our residence and having five different people call us repeatedly over the following week. We were then given an invoice for work that was never completed and had to waste our time trying to sort out the whole situation.

We used WM over 20 years ago, but I had to quit because of financial concerns (not only WM & the cost of watering to maintain the lawn,, but others). The lawn was great then, and it took several years to get nasty again. I have coasted on having a barely presentable lawn for the last 10 years, so decided to give WM a chance to see if we can resurrect it. It will be months from now before I can honestly review.

Moss management, liming, spring/summer/fall fertilizer, spring/summer/fall weed management. Have recommended to friends.

They are on time, quite, doing good job.

The weed control that they did for us was extremely effective! The difference from the year before without them to this year has been incredible to say the least.

Called once about a quote, ultimately decided to go in another direction. Months and months of everyday calling. Multiple different people dont take no for an answer. Requested 4 times to be removed from call list. Very pushy about sales.

Not worth the hassle. They quoted a price inclusive of GST and a 7% discount if we paid for the year up front. Now they are unwilling to honour what was agreed to. They are willing to lose out on a new customer over the $20 difference too.

Weed control is a work in progress due to the number of weeds that were present. Many have gone to weed purgatory or hell. I am still hopeful the rest will meet their demise following the next treatment.

So we had nothing but positive to say, however that changed this summer. First off, I was home one day and noticed a weed application was not competed on our side yard, so I called and they sent someone back. Which got me wondering how many other time this happened. Then in June and July we were getting VERY harassing sales calls from there head office call center (not the Victoria Branch), these would Included you need this extra pest control application or your lawn will become infested and need $10,000 in repairs, after 4 calls in 3 weeks, I blocked all calls from Weedman. Then during the summer fertilizer, I checked the security cameras on after the application and found the once again our side yard was missed. Due to the lack of service and harassing sales calls we decided to terminate service. They did send a supervisor out to our home to check, but by this time it was to late, I no longer wanted to give them my business.

our lawn here in the Esquimalt area is sandy soil and rocky. hard to get those weeds to move on. Weed Man Lawn Care is a very good company to take care of this issue on our lawn. I will be hoping they will be back next year.

Stay away.... the best advice I can give! I got a solicitation call from Weedman when needed some weed control but was only able to get some sparse details from a very uninformed sales girl (she sounded very young). She was unable to tell me anything about product safety. I reluctantly agreed, and then changed my mind the next day. Then they offered me a lower price that was only valid a few hours. I agreed, but then still didnt feel right about their pressure tactics and lack of professionalism, so I cancelled. They kept calling me after I asked not to be called ever again. One day a male voice called, and I expressed how poor my experience had been, and he promised he could do better. He offered me an even lower price and extra applications. He was able to answer my technical questions on product safety. I agreed a second time to enter into an agreement. Problem was he never showed up!!!! When I called and asked to speak with him, I was told I had to speak with the one who answered the phone. Outrageous!

Stay clear of Weedman as they are dishonest and utilize high pressure sales tactics laced with falsehoods! I did not want to give them my credit card info before they had inspected and identified my lawn problem and not before they had convinced me they could solve my lawn problem. The sales lady insisted on requiring my credit card before they would send a knowledgeable grass identifier to my address. The sales lady said I was at no risk of my card being charged before I had the opportunity to meet with their specialist and approve of their service as she said she had not asked for the 3 digits on the back of my credit card therefore a charge could not be made. She said I could cancel without a charge after meeting with their grass specialist if I felt they could not solve my lawn problem. That was a lie because they charged my card two days before I had an opportunity to meet with their specialist and they lied again when they said the first lawn application was free. After meeting with their specialist I canceled the pending service application because I concluded their service could not eliminate the problem grass from my lawn. It was only later that same day that I discovered they had debited my credit card two days PRIOR to my meeting their grass specialist! This is not a business you can trust. Caveat Emptor! (Buyer Beware!) I have now contacted my credit card company and they will be disputing the unauthorized charge.

I used this company to get my lawn back into shape this year. The staff that provide the actual service to the lawn are great, no complaints there. However the sales calls you get for their expensive up-sales are far too pushy. They wanted to come aerate and seed, i declined the first time as i can do it myself for much cheaper, the guy didnt take no for an answer, tried to reduce the price a little, i declined again. He kept going. I told him i have now respectfully declined twice so he put the attitude on and told me that golf courses always aerate and so should I. I dont aspire to be a golf course, this is just a 6000sq lot. I had to hang up, three nos was enough. I dont appreciate sales tactics like this. I will be looking for someone else to take care of my lawn next year!!

I called Weed Man Lawn Care for help with maintaining my lawn areas. They had been overgrown with weeds and needed fertilizing on a regular basis. The customer service was very helpful and cheerful and explained how the weed control worked, the technician who came to do the work was very friendly and professional and I thought the price was good. This is the second year I have contracted with this company. I first used them to get rid of weeds in front and back yards. Frankly there was more weeds than grass not to mention due to the fact my lawn dips in certain spots. This year, even though it is still early, I have really noticed the difference in the number of weeds that are starting to sprout. Hopefully by next year we will have got rid of most of them. Another plus for me was the fact that the liquid used was safe for birds and animals. As I have a cat and my room mate a dog this was very important to us. I am going to arrange to have the lawns over seeded as well to hide the spots where the weeds had died. They always phone before they come and are so quiet that a lot of the time I never knew they had been here unless I saw their invoice in my mail box. If you are having problems with weeds and moss I highly recommend this company.

I tried booking a weed control service. But when I said no to all the up sale and year long service package. I was told they could not provide only weed control and more or less the call was ended. I feel like it may have been a bit of a call centre I was connected to. So maybe if I was able to talk with the franchise directly in my area it may have gone different.

This is the simplest option I have found and it works for me. They show up on a timely basis, always let me know if someone is coming, apply the treatments and let me know if there are any conditions, such as staying off the lawn or pausing the watering schedule. The price seems reasonable and I am comfortable stating that I am a satisfied customer.

Just started using them this spring. Its been a good experience, so far. Weve just done some weed control and slow release fertilizer. Lets see how it comes along through the winter and spring.

We had heard great things about the Weed Man in Victoria BC so without hesitation, we got their services. On their first visit, the technician forgot to provide the weed removal treatment to the backyard and did not tell us to turn off the sprinklers. Needless to say, half our yard wasn t serviced and whatever was put on the front was washed away when the irrigation went on. Today was there next visit and while I had high hopes, my concrete in both the front and back yard is now stained with the treatment product, which requires a special chemical to remove. After 3 calls to costumer service and being told 5 hours ago they would come right back to correct the issue, we have now been told that we should expect a call in 24-48 hours from a guy named Josh. However apparently, the longer the product stays, the harder it is to get off. And, I have been rudely spoken to by 2 of the 3 customer service reps I have spoken with. Buyer beware in Victoria BC. Do not use this service.

Had someone from Weed man come to my door to ask if they could give me a quote for lawn services. Tried to politely decline but they were quite persistent and said just there was no commitment, just a quote. I acquiesced thinking they must be low on their quotas or something and gave them my number. Finally got the quote and said I wasn t interested but they didn t take the hint. Still getting daily calls from them.
