Dont waste your money...nothing they ever do is their fault. Ive spent over $10k+ and have the worst yard in my neighborhood by far, but everything is always my fault. Mow to short, blades arent sharpened....blah, blah, blah! Not to mention the landscape Ive paid for and didnt get the weed fabric I paid for. Guess what, they offered me another service to pay for without offering to take care of it. I should honestly file a lawsuit against this company. They only want new business and dont care about long term customers.

We had a free inspection done with Phil. This was the most educational experience with pest control expert we could have asked for. Phil presented us with an overview of his extensive experience in the field of over 20 years. He addressed every concern and every question with careful precision. If there was a piece of evidence we presented to him and he didnt know what it was, he told us that he didnt know exactly what it was, but he was able to accurately tell us what it wasnt. We highly recommend this family owned business and will be using them from now on.

Barry came and spent over an hour diagnosing our ant problem. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He made suggestions about some minor fixes we could do to make our house less enticing to ants so he didn t need to use unnecessary pesticides and instead get to the root of the problem.

This is our 4th season using TB and our yard has never looked this nice. Theyre extremely responsive to special requests, and I now understand why our neighbor has used them for years. Im very glad we switched to Tomlinson Bomberger, and I would definitely recommend them.

Awful. Hired them for pest control. I had them for about a year. The last time they came out to the house without confirming the appointment could only do the front of my house (Which they are supposed to do the whole outside and the whole inside) And still charged me for the whole project $120. I called and they said that they would forgive the bill but never did and sent it to collections. Would NEVER recommend.

The public spaces have been beautiful for the time I have been living in a subdivision that is serviced by this company and for the most part, I ve been treated with respect and understanding. However I have had problems, almost from the beginning, with some employees not completely shutting my back gate, and my dogs have gotten out numerous times. I ve left messages with the HOA, requesting their help and have not received any response from them. Communication has been nonexistent and, therefore, I m not getting any help with the landscaping company. I have had to deal with people that have been angry and rude to me. I had to deal with an employee yesterday named Bryan who was starting to turn the irrigation water on in my backyard and reacted in an angry manner when I asked him to close my gate as it was standing wide open. I did ask in a sharp tone as I have been trying to fix this very thing for a long time. I tried to agree with his concern about dogs attacking him, but I don t think he heard a thing I said as he was so angry. I stated that I had locked up the dogs. I asked two times to Please turn on my irrigation water . He stated that he would not turn my water on and to talk to the HOA. He was yelling at me as he slammed my gate closed. This is not the way to give quality customer service. I want to get my water turned on.

The expert tree-trimming crew did an awesome job on our five 50-70 trees, thinning crowns, cutting dead branches, and cleaning up. We were impressed with their abilities climbing with ropes and operating two cranes. At one point, three trimmers were working in our oak tree at once: two on separate cranes and one climbing. Thanks for a great job and the entertainment!

Excellent company to deal with and provide quality care

I contacted Tomlinson-Bomberger because I was being overrun with ants and the over-the-counter poisons were not working. With the first treatment, I waited 10 days as directed, but the ant population didnt seem to go down. I called, and a manager came out to reapply the treatment. Its now 10 days later, and I have very few ants left!

Buying a new construction home left us with a bare landscape that needed vision. After soliciting proposals from several landscaping firms, the Tomlinson design and pricing outshined all the others. Connor understood what I was trying to achieve in terms of style, color, privacy and maintenance!! The designs he brought back were spot on and the modifications we made together simply made it better. Working with Him and the Tomlinson Bomberger team has been a real pleasure.

Andre was extremely helpful in explaining the program and setting up an initial visit. A tech was out within 48 hours to see the property, do a soil test and perform a first application. My property has some tricky areas with slopes so some of it had to be done carefully by hand. Overall Im very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism of the TomBom team.

My service was scheduled for this past Friday but was never done. Then I received this message today to rate the service! When I contacted the office, I was told that it was not done because of weather! Had I not been home all day, I would have paid for something that never happened! Sorry I prepaid for the season and I m hoping that this is not going to happen all summer!

I have used Tomlinson Bomberger for various services over the past few years from shrub removal and maintenance to weed bed spraying and spotted lanternfly treatments. From what I understand, they have reduced their services a bit in the Harrisburg area and, with some disappointment on my part, I will have to hunt down another service to do my shrub maintenance in the future.

Tom Bom has done an excellent job with our lawn! I previously tried to take care of it myself but I was not getting the result that I wanted. The customer service is very good and they promptly respond to any questions.

Brian Hauk came to our house and made an assessment of our hemlock tree fungus and made the appropriate remedy to fix our trees with soil injections. Bomberger did the job quickly and efficiently.

Our lifelong hobby is the lawn and landscaping around our home, so we are very particular about our service. TomBom s field team is highly experienced and is the only company we have dealt with which knows more than we do. It is a great feeling. We also have their pest control.., same thing - it is great and they return without any questions when the occasional massive spider invasion kicks in during the early summer months. I have nothing to gain by this review, this company works for their customers.

I made the mistake of discontinuing my lawn service with TB to reduce my expenses 2 years ago. Last season my lawn went from being one of the nicest in our neighborhood to being an embarrassment !!! After trying to figure out what to do on my own I decided to call TB back in to help. My yard is now showing significant improvement and is on its way back to looking great again. I use TomBom for Lawn Spraying/fertilizer and weed control, as well as Weed Control in my flower beds. I selected them because not many companies offer services for beds. The technicians are very knowledgeable, informative and friendly. Ive also had very good experiences with customer service.

We used to use TruGreen but during the pandemic they didnt come to my place but once in a year and that upset me a bit and our grass started to look horrible. They wouldnt even call to tell me anything. I turned to Tomlinson Bomberger and the help of Shelly Kuhns and I cant tell you how helpful Shelly is and is awesome at getting back to you with any questions and concerns. A young man named Nate Rojas has been our technician the past two (2) years. He is excellent. Always walks the yard to evaluate before he starts. Always explains what he is doing and why. Explains his recommendations for any change or additional services etc. Took time to give me recommendations before I reseeded part of my back yard which was in poor shape. Now looks fantastic.

The specialist came to my door and alerted me that he was there to treat my yard with instructions on how long to stay off it. My sales guy, Shaun Casey, is terrific too. He got me started on a treatment routine last year and the results are amazing. Tried other yard care companies, but Tomlinson/Bomberger is best!

We had pest control services set up by Shelly Kuhns. She was great to work with and answered all of our questions. We had tiny ants and after the first treatment from Tomlinson Bombergers the issue has been taken care of. They come back every three months for maintenance treatment and are willing to come in between appointments if anything arises.

Josh, a TB technician, completed a preventative tree treatment this morning, and as he was here, noticed a damaging lawn problem. He contacted the TB team and within a couple of hours Andre, Inside Sales Supervisor and Registered Lawn Technician, was at my house to examine my yard, educate me about the situation, and offer solutions. The trust and attention to detail that TB regularly offers is fantastic!

Nate Rojas is a great technician. We met this morning and he was very professional and knowledgeable. We walked around my yard and he showed me so things we need to watch for. Nate did not try to push selling anything we didnt need. Would highly recommend Nate Rojas and Tomlinson Bomberger.

I am a lawn customer and also a pest control customer. I pay a lot of money for these services and have no issue with that as long as they address the issues I have. My problem is with the pest control, namely the tick and mosquito service. I hired them this year for the first time and they initially sprayed in June. We had excellent results and I was thrilled. July they came again and I started to notice that the mosquitoes were starting to bite pretty badly. I emailed and got a response from pest control manager, Barry Bradley that maybe I ll have better luck in August and they will not re-treat my property. This is the utmost worst neglectful service I have ever received from this company. I m guessing they don t need or want my business. I cancelled the rest of my service this year.

Ive used Tomlinson Bomberger for a couple years for lawn maintenance. Previously tried another lawn care service and they were unable to fix the damage caused by our blow up childrens pool. The yard looks great after care from their team. Last year we used them to completely renovate the beds around the house. What they planted was nice. After the project, the weeds were outrageous. Many hours were spent weeding, spraying, trying to treat it at home as is typical. That led to looking into their garden bed weed control program. Today, they did a clean up of the beds. The two gentlemen that were here were nice, efficient, and professional. They did a clean up when they were finished. Overall, in my opinion, they are more expensive than other providers, but their results are better and they offer services that I feel other lawn care providers do not offer. I highly recommend their services.

Technicians, Eric H., Raymond M., and Ryan J. did an excellent job in the Spring Cleaning, Edging, Mulching, (and even a bit of Mowing that was needed in a certain area of my property). They arrived on time, were very polite, and worked diligently the entire day. They were very concerned about ensuring that each aspect of the work was done to perfection! They washed down my driveway and walkway in order to remove any debris and remaining bits of mulch after the work was completed. They even took away an old broken hose and hose reel box for me. I am very pleased!

Having moved into a home with a yard much bigger than my previous house, I knew I needed a good service to help me take care of it. Fortunately, I talked to TomlinsonBomberger, and I have been happy with the job they have been doing for the past several years.

Both crews did a great job trimming three trees and the next week cleaned out the garden beds and trimmed the shrubs and bushes.

These guys are awesome! Last year they built a beautiful retaining wall in front of my house. Dave was the foreman. He gave me continuous updates throughout the project. All summer last year, people passing by would stop and compliment the wall. Unfortunately, this past February my sewer line failed and we had to dismantle part of the wall to repair the broken pipe. Once again, Dave was the foreman on the project to restore the wall, and he provided the same level of communication and the same quality of work to repair the damage. To the casual observer, the wall looks like nothing ever happened. Even during the repairs, a passerby stopped to compliment his work. I definitely recommend TomBom, and will use them again for future improvements to my property.

We have had TomBom work on a number of aspects in our yard including maintenance, pest control, and the installation of a new flower bed and garden wall. All aspects of their work has been done in a timely manner and with much professionalism/attention to detail. Dennis and Todd were both very helpful in understanding what we wanted and how they could help. The team of Josh, Brandon, and Mark did an excellent job of executing the plan, and even provided knowledgeable suggestions throughout the project. The area was unusable, until Tomlinson and Bomberger showed up and and made it a work of art. From the initial design to the day of install, the company listens and cares about the customers needs. I scheduled an extra service because I was not noticing any difference in my lawn, one day a sign is on my lawn, camera. Didnt pick up any activity, and my lawn looks exactly the same as it did prior to me scheduling an extra service. So based on the lack of tracks found in the lawn that I usually see when I get a service, combo that up with no camera activity found on my lawn. It seems they just put a sign there and left.

ever wonder why you never had brown spot and fungus disease before you started using this service. Ever wonder if theyre spreading this stuff around on the wheels of the vehicles they use to spread their fertilizer. Ever wonder why they want to charge you for a program to cure all this stuff. Dont waste your money on the lantern fly spraying. I have more lantern flies than any of my neighbors who arent using a service. They do a nice job on the lawn.

Terrible customer service! Not consistent at all with applications. When asked why the excuse is oh, the tech was sick or some other excuse. Happen twice and last season it was a nine week lapse between treatments and weeds were terrible. I decided to give them a second chance and am sorry I did. I asked if there was anything they could do for us like a crediting us an application and she said, oh we dont do that. Then asked if there is anything else she could help me with. Are you kidding me?

We called Tomlinson Bomberger to help with the Spotted Lanternfly in our three maple trees. We purchased a treatment consisting of two (2) bark sprays, systemic, and a tree spray. All three were done in a timely manner according to the schedule presented to us. All done professionally and courteously. I would recommend this group. Thank you great job.

We are former customers of a nationwide company and we rarely chatted with the technicians that came out to apply treatments to our lawn. Since becoming customers of Tomlinson & Bomberger, weve been very pleased with how courteous and respectful their entire team is in our interactions. Earlier this week the tech came to apply our last treatment of the year. We already had too many leaves down in our backyard. Instead of applying a treatment that would have been a complete waste (our $$ and company time). We had a face to face conversation about rescheduling the appointment. When I called their office to set that up, WOW! Another lovely surprise....their customer service staff was upbeat and pleasant!! So thankful for a business that cares for its customers. Weve used Tomlinson Bomberger quite a few times over the past ten years and were always pleased with their work until the recent job they performed for us. Im not sure what changed within the company but it seems the quality of the work has deteriorated. We were disappointed with the work that was recently performed. They seemed to rush and did return to improve the work but it still wasnt up to the high standard that we have experienced in the past. Bob K. - we miss you. You seemed to get the work done properly. In process of having extensive landscaping and new walkway placed. lt was as though I was questioned several times during the estimate process as to whether I could afford the work I wanted done, despite readily making a 1/3 deposit on the work. Asked many questions via email as follow up to the proposed project, very few to none of my questions answered. Very difficult to get ahold of anyone via phone or email. Wishing I had chosen another company. Seems as though they cant be bothered with my small (approx $8000, but still waiting for an estimate on half the project, over 2 months later) project. Hopefully actual work is far better than customer service.

Made contact last year about an issue with one of my oak tress. They diagnosed the tree as iron deficient. Signed a two year contract and paid the two years in advance for treatment. In June the tree looked worse, I emailed my representative, we reviewed the plan. Part of what I paid for was a soil sample. I requested a copy of the sample results. They could not produce a copy of the results for the test, makes me think the sample was never conducted. I reached out to another tree company for another opinion The tree was diagnosed with bacterial leaf scorch, deadly to the tree. At this point the tree is all but bare and not worth saving. At no point did I fell as a customer that I mattered. I canceled the contract and any further service from this company.They have gotten so large that a small customer like myself doesnt matter if I go away. They dont even care as to the reason for my cancellation. Will not use there service again. As a side note this is not the first time I experienced issues with this company.

We called them to have a hornets nest removed from our 2nd floor eave. They were prompt and courteous. Unfortunately, there was misunderstanding as to what services were to be done. We were under the impression that the nest would be physically removed. They were there just to kill the hornets, not to remove the nest. When we expressed our displeasure, they responded quickly and to our satisfaction. We still, of course, have to find someone to remove the nest, but at least the stingers are gone.

We had carpenter ants In our house, black spiders in our basement, voles tunneling in our yard, and yellow jackets making a nest in our outside chimney mortar. Three different pest control technicians have visited our house to diagnose and treat these pests. It s been three weeks since the first treatments were administered, and we ve seen a noticeable decline in the appearance of these unwanted pests. We highly recommend Tom Bom for any pest control needs!

We had yellow jackets in our house wall. They scheduled an appointment quickly arrived on time and took care of the problem. The technician was polite and explained what he would do and cleaned away the overspray. It has been several weeks and the pests are gone.

I use the pest control service and I am very happy with it. They treat less frequently and at a lower cost than other companies I ve used, but just as effective. Any time I have a problem, which is rarely, they take care of to right away. I m a satisfied customer!

Matt Lowe is super fantastic, and we were extremely happy with his recommendations. The work team sent to our home was efficient. The services we received were tree trimming (this team was great), removal of all old plantings, bushes, etc., as well as a new design for landscaping for our front yard area. Again, all work was done very efficiently. I wouldve given five stars except for the fact that the clean up after the work was done was not satisfactory. Their work members need to pay more attention to detail in that one particular area. When speaking to Matt, he offered to send folks back ... which was very nice, but we declined and did it ourselves. We will be utilizing their services again in the Spring for more yard work in the rear of our property.

I m a resident and board member of a small community with an HOA. We switched lawn care providers this year and chose Tomlinson for their quote and well known name for the area. The year started off good with spring clean up but since the service has gone down hill. Even the most basic of tasks is not done correctly. (Do not blow clippings into flower beds). We have more grass and weeds in the flower beds then mulch. Walkways are not cleared and if any trash is on the ground it s mowed over. We are currently looking for another provider to service the community. Edit 9/23/20. After further discussion with Tomlinson we learned the service was being done by a sub contractor. Scott from Tomlinson was quick honor the request we submitted and came out the very next day to look things over and correct the complaints we had made. Thank you Scott!!

This is the first time using a lawn service. Just recently moved to a new home, and decided to start right, right off the bat with our lawn. This past spring, our lawn looked like a golf course. Beautiful. Then as summer came, we had a lawn disease. Killed nearly all our grass. It looked like the Arazona desert. We called Tomlinson Bombergers. They made an assessment, gave us an estimate, and a date for which they would come out and do the work. They aerated and reseeded our lawn. They told us how to take it from there. We watered faithfully, and our lawn came back almost 100%. They are faithful, dependable and do great work. They will make your lawn looking good.

OMG! The unprofesionalism of this team is one of very few I encounter in my life. They dont email you the quotes they promise. They dont even return your calls. I called three times to the person who came to my home for an estimate of a pretty involved job and never returned a call nor ever sent the estimate. When I email him and CC the two owners of the company, they didnt even return the email either. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! There lack of professionalism and care toward new customers is one I have never seen.
