SavATree in Lakewood

Sav-A-Tree contacted me a week before to schedule the appointment. They called the morning of the appointment to confirm. The crew showed up right on time. They did a very professional job of trimming the tree. They cautioned me prior to starting that the trimming might not cause the tree to look very different, but they were wrong. It looks 100% better than when they started. It was a jumble of branches and shoots, and now it looks like a real tree. Thank you Sav-A-Tree, it was an outstanding job.

Together we walk my property each year to evaluate vegetation health and growth. I often email photos of situations for her input. Because of her advice and trimming recommendations, we have a beautiful, mature landscape. We have never had broken limbs from show storms, our aspens thrive in this lower altitude and our ash survived the Emerald beetle. Our trees/shrubs are not stressed, but healthy & thriving. My property has over 25 healthy trees that Sav-A-Tree has maintained for over 20 years. We have never lots a single tree. :)

We have used SavATree for several years to fertilize and treat kermes scale on our red oak. The tree is now healthy and thriving while other untreated red oaks in the neighborhood are severely affected and stunted. SavATree may not be the cheapest tree service in the metro area, but they are definitely thorough, professional and effective. As always, you get what you pay for.

SavATree did what they said they would do. Addressing tree health isnt instantaneous. They started work remediating a pest infestation of our Red Oak last summer. This year showed the effect. The bugs are gone!

Aborist Liv, and David and Griffens crew cut, chipped, and removed all seven of my Mountain Pine Bark Beetle infested trees last Thursday. David then climbed into the big Ponderosa near our front door and trimmed all the dead wood out of it, making our walkway safe. They were here on time and were finished, including clean-up, in three and a half hours. They were courteous and conscientious. Great customer service! I look forward to Savatree spraying my trees for Mountain Pine Beetles next June.

Ive been using saveATree for many years now for both my apartment building and my personal residence. They winterize my sprinkler system in the fall, activate in the spring. feed the trees, do specialty treatments such as for necrotic ring spot, aeration, fertilize the lawn and even spray the building perimeter for pest control. I have not met the technician that services the apartment building but Neil, who services my residence goes the extra mile and is very friendly. Olivia at SavATree literally saved us! We asked her to take a look at several trees in our yard with fire blight. While there she noticed our large Maple was unhealthy. She recommended we remove the swing and cut the tree down. We followed her guidance and removed the swing even though our children complained. But we elected to wait on cutting down the tree. About a month later during a large wind storm half the tree tumbled over just missing our home. We were so grateful for Olivias expert advice, keeping us all safe. Weve since had SavATree help us with treatment and pruning. Excellent customer service, highly recommend!

Our arborist (Olivia) provided thoughtful and frank advice about our options regarding some sick trees. We jointly came to the conclusion that they were probably beyond help, and when it came to tree and stump removal, SaveATree provided very professional work at a fair price. Would absolutely use them again.

Cole Carmack with Save-A-Tree and his crew were courteous, professional, and thorough. I am completely satisfied with their work and will definitely use them in the future. They actually did save one of our trees a couple of years ago and it is flourishing now.

Last fall, SavATree sent a very capable crew led by Jordan to our home to remove a large Ponderosa that had outgrown its space. The removal required a bucket truck. They worked efficiently and with great care for our surrounding landscape, including a fence and pond. They cleaned everything up and left our property in good order. We were impressed! A few days later, they sent one of their guys to grind the stump and large roots well below grade. He did a very thorough job and even removed and reinstalled a section of our fence to get the stump grinder into the area. Early this spring, I priced installation of a new, smaller conifer to replace the Ponderosa and found SavATrees pricing to be competitive. Our arborist, Olivia Leseman, made suggestions for our space and worked with their nursery to find the perfect tree which was installed within ten days by a couple of their guys, one of whom was Jordan. They did a wonderful job and gave me instructions for proper watering of the new tree. We have been working with Olivia for about three years. We have an annual service agreement for our trees and shrubs. She is very knowledgeable and is always professional, personable and responsive to my questions. The SavATree team has proven to be reliable and first class, and you can tell they love what they do!

Olivia Leseman with Lakewood Savatree is excellent; she is smart, knowledgeable, friendly, understanding and responsive. I appreciate Olivia always finding time to text or speak with me and she listens to my concerns regarding our trees and yard. I give 5 stars to Olivia -- I gave 4 stars overall to Savatree, mostly because there are times when the service is performed and I am not given instructions; example is when fertilizer was applied to the lawn and our sprinklers were not turned on for the spring and there was no instruction about what the lawn needs for the application to be effective.

Had a consult today. Unfortunately my tree can t be saved, however they were honest and didn t try to take advantage and have me try things that wouldn t work. I appreciate the honesty. We had a great conversation to explain what happened to the tree and challenges with the particular species. Thanks!

We use SavATree at least once a year. The crew was at our house last week, and once again they were awesome. The yard looks great, the guys did their usual fantastic job.

More like KillATree! This company had a major fail in treating and protecting our beautiful oak tree. It has gone way downhill this year, dropping hundreds of leaf clusters and now with lots of dead or dying branches. When given a chance to correct their work they provided no solutions, just excuses. I cancelled my contract with them and got two other well-respected local companies to evaluate the situation. Both provided very similar, very well-explained solutions and I believe we are now on the right track.

I NEEDED HELP WITH TREE SERVICE AND CALLED THEIR OFFICE. THE YOUNG LADY THAT ANSWERED THE PHONE WAS REMARKABLE! HER NAME IS AMBER AND WAS VERY POLITE AND VERY HELPFUL. SHE WAS ABLE TO GET THE INFORMATION I NEEDED AND EVEN CALLED ME BACK TO PROVIDE MY APPOINTMENT. HER SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING AND I APPRECIATE HER!

Cole Carmack Out of shear desperation due to last years Japanese Beetles season, I contacted SavAlree company, wondering if they can provide any service for these Japanese Beetles. Best phone call ever! I signed up for their services (including all garden pests). If I found 4 beetles a day that was it. Some days I saw none! A complete 180 from 2022 beetle season. I called as I had a difficult situation with a neighbors tree completely taking over my property. The tree was probably 60 plus years old. It was still healthy but breaking thru the fence and roots above ground on my property plus most of leaves were over my property. Olivia Leseman came out to look at and it was a very difficult call as neighbors were not very willing. Olivia went above and way beyond the call of duty. She worked patiently and tirelessly with the neighbors and myself. She was put in the middle a lot and she handled every step of the way with professionalism, patience, and understanding. This was not an easy task with what she had to work with. I highly recommend Olivia for any needs you may have. I really have never seen anyone go to the great extent of service as she did of handling myself and my neighbors. Nowadays people just do not see old school values (my era) and she definitely filled those long forgotten values.

We have a very large yard that has a couple dozen large trees that we love dearly. Over the years I have used various recommended arborists/tree service companies and have to say SavATree has outperformed all the others. From the initial walk-about pertaining to recommended treatments and trimming, the staff and crew were very professional and very polite. The quality of work is far superior to other companies I have used as the trees have never looked this good. I also feel more at ease. now that Ash Borer and Pine Beetle have started to appear in our area, that the treatments will help keep our trees healthy for years to come. I dont know which branch came out. I have an american elm that is 65ft + or - high. they have been here 3 times and basically done nothing. Each time the estimator says We will contact you and meet you here to get it right. No one contacts me and they just show up. I dont like companies that lie and sneak around. They also dont know how to use a rake, and leave a lot for the home owner. Or maybe its their way of letting me know they have been here since they dont call and wont thin out branches or cut anything that might hit the house. My house was across from another big tree. their main crew spent the whole day on that tree, $1700.00. My tree has received a couple hours work for $1392.00. their second crew wont do anything. UPDATE: 7/15/2022 they came a fourth time, after writing a letter to the CEO and COO of the company explaining my experience with SavATree. The estimator and i went over the same branches again. As soon as he is gone the crew does what they are told by the Lead. The lead wont cut branches over drive or street. they dont want you to watch them trim the tree. so i went out after they ran the bell. thats when i found the limb still hanging into the street. But they were packed up and ready to go. so would not cut it. One was cut, but not the whole big bunch. so when it breaks I get to pick it up. They do what they want, not what the customer pays for. i paid for a whole tree trim, not a partial trim or what they want to do trim. they take advantage of the elderly and women. I dont want them back. I would NEVER hire them again. I DONT recommend them. Look elsewhere. They cracked the concrete on my sidewalk either by driving on it or dropping a limb on it. they said nothing. KIDS work here. DONT EVER HIRER THESE PEOPLE. UPDATE 9/3/23: sav a tree would not properly trim my tree. so today in high winds, not tornado winds, everything hanging over the driveway that i wanted cut last year by savatree, broke off. this is a 6 inch limb that they would not cut. i had been out of town, had just pulled, carried something into house came back out and the limb had broken and fell 1/2 to my car. the limb nearly fell on me. that was the whole reason i wanted the tree trimmed. go someone else.

We ve had SavATree take care of yard and trees for years (It merged with Swingle Tree Co that we d used for years before that). Tom Martin has guided us through the growth of 2 magnificent blue spruce trees and 3 ash trees which we ve carefully protected from infestations. The lawn survived a 3 year attack of bunnies and has thrived since the bunny population has dwindled. Tom has even helped orchestrate a strange limb removal which was broken lounging in limbs beyond our reach. The company has been great, but the guidance of Tom Martin has been the most help of all.

I ve been using Save A Tree for all my landscaping needs for a few years. They are great! They are very responsive, the communication is great, and their work is great. I highly recommend them.

Austin and Keelan (if that is misspelled my apologies!) did such a great job trimming our trees. We talked through what we wanted at the start then midway they showed me the progress and addressed some potential issues they saw and talked through possible solutions. They were so thorough and they made sure everything was cleaned up after. Even my neighbors complimented their work. I am very happy with the results. Its a nerve-wracking process to have your trees worked on but I feel better after having this service done by two very knowledgeable people.

My experience with SavATree was wonderful! I needed to have a 35-foot half-dead Siberian Elm removed from my backyard. I gathered quotes from five different companies, and SavATree came in right in the middle. Additionally, I had the best experience working with Cole! He was respectful of my time when he came to provide the initial estimate, and was very responsive to emails, texts, and calls as we moved forward to schedule the work. Finally, he was at my house the day of the job and supported his team. He, Dylan, Max, and Jordan did great work of removing the tree while also being respectful of my property and also my neighbors property during the process. I am so pleased with my experience with SavATree and will definitely be returning to them for future tree trimming work (for the other large unsightly tree in the backyard!).

Had a large pine removed/ground that was right on top of the house along with ~6 other smaller trees and some trimming. Team -- cory kevin kay sam -- showed up a bit early at 745 to get started and knocked all of it out by 3. Very efficient team. Did a very nice job cleaning the site and trimmed a couple of trees beyond the scope of the job. Special props to Cole for coordinating everything and tending to our trees through the year. Did what they said they would and showed up on time, great experience. Another contractor said the price was pretty good.

They made an appointment on their own and came out on their own and injected my tree my ash tree and charged me $310 when I did not set up this appointment. Be careful who you talk to just to come out and get an estimate because they ended up making an appointment for me a year later.

I had a huge tree hanging over my roof and neighbors driveway that made me nervous on a windy day. I scheduled with Sav a Tree and they sent Steve and Dylan over. They were early and they listened well to everything I needed. They did a great job on the tree, i no longer have to worry about it. They also did a great job on the bushes and tree on the other side.They cleaned up very well. My whole yard looked better after they left. Highly recommend. Great techs!

The drivers they employ are reckless and dangerous. One was staring at his lap while driving a landscaping truck in the wrong lane of the road. Another was driving a cherry picker truck on the wrong side of a neighborhood street.

I contacted several different companies about tree trimming and removal and ended up using SavATree. They were able to fit me in between Christmas and New Years Day and were done in half a day. Everything was cleaned up really well. The timing of my job couldnt have been better as we received 10 + of snow several days later and that could have caused some issues with the trees that needed trimming.

We hired SavATree to trim a locust tree and aspens in our backyard. The arborist, Cole, came out and did an initial inspection and provided a quote. He was professional, polite and very knowledgeable. He has also been great in getting our tree trimming service scheduled- with the holidays and the weather we had to work around some conflicts and he was flexible and responsive. The crew was great - they showed up on time, knew exactly what to do, were polite and professional and the results are great. We will continue to use them for our routine tree care and recommend them to anyone looking for a team that is knowledgeable about properly caring for your trees.

Exceptional work and great customer service! Byron and the team from the Lakewood branch did an outstanding job removing two large pines from my property that had died from beetle-kill. They went above and beyond to take care of my property and remove the trees and debris without disturbing the landscape. Ive been with these guys for 3 years or so. Im done. Ive struggled with them showing up on time, with notifications for service, and scheduling. Multiple calls to their office and employees to try to fix their notification (I finally got a notification after two years last week), schedule lawn maintenance, discuss planting trees, etc. and every single time it was the same story. Well fix it, well do better ... Im a month behind on getting my first service done (as compared to my neighbors who use other services) and now Im looking for someone else. The office folks are nice and friendly, I absolutely love the arborist (Byron) and Ill miss him, but Im so tired of calling and rescheduling when their people dont show up, show up randomly to perform a service, etc.

This used to be a fine, locally owned tree company. When it was taken over by SavATree service deteriorated significantly. Its hard to talk to the same person twice in the company. We have gotten very different quotes from two different people, and no followup.

We were devastated to wake up one morning to discover the apple tree we have been waiting years to produce, and finally did for the first time this year, appeared to have been partially decimated by disease. We figured it wouldnt survive and would need to be removed. Fortunately, Tom Martin came to the rescue! Not only was he extremely affable to speak with, he was clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about trees. He graciously came out at his earliest opportunity free of charge. Not only did he tell us what was really going on, he gave us tips on how to better care for our other trees, including tips for how to plant a potted tree that we had ready to go into the ground. Our apple tree will live to see another year, and we trust Mr. Martin. We will be happy to defer to his expertise for as long as he is in business.

This company is currently facing litigation for damaging our vehicle. Completely bizarre behavior by their crew who decided to break into a vehicle and move it themselves causing damage in the process.

Great company; I ve not had to use their tree services but as a contractor I ve been buying mulch from them for years. The mulch is made from local ground up tree limbs and branches; very sustainable versus mulch brought in from out of state.

I was very pleased with the three trees we had planted through SavATree. We werent totally sure what we wanted for our backyard and Toms suggestions were great, he helped narrow down 3 options for each of the 3 locations we wanted trees. He has been very helpful afterwards too to help us find the right watering schedule to keep our new trees healthy. The trees and planting werent cheap, but I think this kind of work is a get what you pay for situation, the trees were large and healthy in comparison to cheaper options we looked at. We will definitely use them again for tree work in our yard.

We have used them for aereation/fertilization for several years. They are reliable and professional. Each year we get a recommendation for additional services, but no hard sell. I hate the hard sell. We like a nice yard, but have no aspiration for golf course grass or winning awards, and they respect that. We recently lost our sprinkler guy to retirement and when his replacement totally flaked on us, Sav-A-Tree came to the rescue for that, too. We have a complex system that needed repair, and Clayton dived in and took care of it. Now we have a damaged tree theyll be helping to revive. Also, during COVID, they respected us by wearing masks (with the Sav-a-tree logo, no less!) I highly recommend this company.

Came in for a load of mulch, it was quickly loaded on my truck, and everyone was friendly and helpful.

I had someone from come out for a quote and he was a very aggressive sales person. He was coming up with a lot of different ways to up charge me. Specifically, he said that the tree was not safe enough to climb and theyd need to get a giant boom lift to get to the tree. I ended up going with someone else, and they trimmed the tree no problem at a very good rate.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Very upset!!! SavATree came out and performed a $300 service on my tree yesterday without my approval. Claiming that i had an auto-renew from years in the past. Be VERY CAREFUL when signing up for services through this company as they will try to get you for auto-renewal. They claimed to give us mailings stating that the service was going to happen, which I am sure i thought was just like every other yard service out there asking for my business so i threw it away. They even have my email on file and not once sent me an email notification saying the same thing. Very sketchy practice by SavATree. If i need service in the future i know not to use them!

I have used M H T for years (8 through work and 5 personally) and had been very happy in all respects. But they have now merged with another company (Swingle maybe) and the jury is out. Once again they did not send me preseason prepaid discount information. They did call me but when I returned their call I was too late to receive the discount. And no more senior discount either. Seems corporate merger means No Flexibility for Customer Loyalty. So I may be shopping elsewhere next time around. (Probably should be 3 star review if youre a Senior.)

This company cleaned our complex and accidentally broke a glass on our back yard table, which I have not even noticed. They have put a notice on our door admitting the accident and told us in that note that they were working on fixing the glass. A new glass table top was there in just a few days. You dont see an honest company like that very often. We were very impressed, and grateful!

Long time MTH customer here. Since merger with SavaTree and now Swingle things have been rough. Called several times in 2017 for tree care I had authorized and they were a no show. Work never completed. Decided to give them another shot in 2018 only b/c lawn tech (Mike) was a stand up guy. Authorized 2018 service in late March and had to call again on 4/30 to find out when they were going to START my lawn applications. CS rep somewhat helpful, but I could have sworn I heard her say she didnt give a s**t when I called to see where they were at. Ill probably stick with them this year, but look for local owned / operated for next year. Suggestions?

Billed me for fertilization they did not provide. Won t respond in writing to my complaint. I had been a customer for 15 years. Not anymore.

Had them out to take care of an apple tree that came with the house when we bought it a couple of years ago. The tree was so full of deadwood that I thought wed have to have the entire tree removed. But they came out and trimmed it up with all the healthy parts intact. Because it was a winter job they gave a discount on the price. And when they were supposed to come we had snow, so they got ahold of us first thing in the morning and got us rescheduled for the very next week. Thanks Mountain High!

I wish I could give Mountain High Tree a better rating, but unfortunately they never even provided us with an estimate. I submitted an internet request on 04/26/17 to Mountain High Tree and two other companies. I received an email confirmation, stating that we would have an estimate COMPLETED in the next 5 business days. Then on 05/02/17 I received a voicemail stating that she wanted to follow up with me to see if I was still interested in getting an estimate. By this time the other two companies had already been out and provided us with an quote, but we really wanted to get an estimate from Mountain High Tree. I called them back, confirmed I wanted an estimate and she said someone would be out in the next 5 business days. On 05/08/17, a gentleman called to verify our address and said he would be out to complete the quote the next day and would have the quote sent to me via email. I immediately called them back as the address was incorrect and was assured that it was an error. The next day 05/09/17, I expected a quote to be completed and emailed to us by the end of the day, as the estimate was to be completed around 1:00pm. A estimate was never sent to us and so I called to follow up just before 5pm. The sales person assured me I would have it first thing in the morning. Its now 05/11/17, and no estimate has been received. I dont know if they ever came out to look at the tree, but after 15 days, we need to move forward. I just wish we wouldnt had wasted our time waiting for this, when the other companies were very quick to getting us a quote back in April.

Met Becky Wegner with a Forest Service representative for fire mitigation (who knew?) right here in Colorado Springs. The actual price was a little less than her estimate. The crew that did the work was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. They even suggested a couple of modifications from the original plan to enhance appearances, plus they took out a bush and some dead wood that hadnt been identified earlier without an additional charge. No communication. It took them 2 weeks to come out and look at my trees. When they finally came out he said I will send you an estimate in the next two days. It has been over a week. Nothing!! Dont waste youre time and effort. Call someone who will respond in a timely manner.

The arborist who looked at my trees was knowledgeable and helpful. The guy who came out and did the cabling and trimming were professional. They did a great job of cleaning up! My yard looks great. Prices here were the best I found and Im very pleased with the final look. Ill be back in touch next Spring.

These guys do a good job but their customer service is lacking. I explained to them that I needed lawn services after a specific date, and after talking with 4 people they finally got the message. It should not be this hard to change an appointment.

Great customer service! Called in to get an estimate for tree trimming as well as the health of my trees & lawn and spoke to a young lady by the name of Kathy in the office who answered all my questions advised me of their wait time for all services as well as discounts and offers they had for new customers. Explained the different lawn programs they had available and promised to have an arborist call me for the trimming estimate. I met the arborist a few days later and he was amazing. Walked the property with me, talked about the concerns I had on some of my trees and gave me a great price to trim the trees. Great experience so far

I recently purchased a home and was completely lost when it came to lawn care. I called around to a few places before calling Mountain High. I spoke with Kathy and she was incredibly helpful from the start. She made sure that my questions were answered. She gave me pricing information, which other companies refused to do until they came out to my home. She offered to have someone out the following week and even gave me a follow up call to remind me when their crew would be out and assured me if I had any questions I could give her a call. This company has provided me with excellent service and results.

Ive used this company on three occasions in the last two years and the work was done quickly and competently. Last year they took down several 70 ft cottonwoods using just ropes and saws. Amazing. It took a couple days, but another company said it would take over a week. Then we needed emergency work this spring when a tree fell on the house and they came out that day. The arborist who does the estimates (Bill Tillapaugh) is practical about what should be done and what to leave alone. He is easy to work with. Cost was lower than the other bids. Only downside, sometimes they get backlogged on non-emergency work so it can take weeks to get that done.

I would like to give a shout-out to Mountain High Tree about one of their employees - Mike! Mike does the weed spray for my commercial property located off Federal. He takes pride in his job always does a professional job by notifying me when he will be there (I have to unlock a gate), always handles the spray correctly and with care. I hope the folks at Mountain High Tree know they have a valuable employee working for them!

Vince and Angel aerated our lawn this morning and were complete professionals in every regard. Vince hand aerated parts of our back lawn where we have an underground dog fence. And he even asked if I wanted him to seed a barren patch of our back lawn where our kids swing set used to be. I said I needed to weed it first and he said hed be glad to do that, too! (I ended up declining Vinces kind offers because were considering putting a fire pit there.) Vince and I also had a nice chat about what a great company Ralph runs and how he and Craig Little are so knowledgeable about everything related to trees, lawns, shrubs, flowers and landscaping. Mountain High Tree is my favorite local tree company. Ive lived in my current house for 13 years, and we have huge trees and hedges. Mountain High Tree has been the company I use and recommend to my neighbors for the last 7 years. They have removed whole trees and stumps, removed large branches that overhung my house, and cut back our hedges for regrowth. We had a elm beetle issue they were able to remedy as well. Theyve always been unfailingly polite, both on the phone, and their salespeople and arborists. They work very neatly, and clean up after themselves.

They are wonderful and professional. Best service!!!!

Great experience with Mountain High! We had a tree trimmed that required extra visits to our property to deal with a wasp nest. The staff was very professional and competent. They also took the time to educate us about the other trees on our property. There was no pressure. Price was reasonable and the people on all levels were friendly and helpful.

Ive never written a review because I like to think most local companies like to do their best to accommodate their customers. However given the horrible service (or I should say lack of service) I felt compelled enough to do so here. Last year we tried to set up aeration with Mountain High. The first aeration was cancelled due to snow which we understood. The 2nd aeration was cancelled because they showed up with heavy equipment they couldnt get up our stairs to get to the lawn. Ok, fine. They said they would reschedule and bring their smaller aeration system. We never got a call back nor did they show up. We followed up and was told it was now too late in the season to do aeration and that we would have to wait for Fall. We did not and went with a different provider. We like to support local companies. We decided this year we would try again with Mountain High because they seem to get good reviews and again, want to support local business. We were contacted to set up aeration for this past Monday. When we were contacted we responded to an email we received from Patrick Ahart that we would like to have seeding done at the same time. When the aeration crew showed up on Monday they again like last year did not have the smaller aeration equipment and was not made aware of the interest in getting seeding done. They said they had 2 options for us. They could come back the next day with the smaller aeration equipment or come back a week later and do both aeration and seed. We opted for the following week with aeration and seed. I then get a voicemail from Lee the Lawn Service Manager with Mountain High saying: We had lawn services set up for aeration and were turned away because we wanted seeding. They had the aeration set up in their system, they had it approved and theyre not down in your area very often. Unfortunately I dont see the relationship between us and you working very well. You might want to find another company to do the aeration and any other lawn services that you might want provided. He then proceeded to leave his cell number and said At this time Im going to discontinue all of the services since they were turned away yet again. Wow, customer service at its best. First, no one was turned away. Secondly we live smack in the town of Morrison and in looking at other reviews their are comments from Lakewood, Littleton, Arvada, Golden and low and behold Morrison so it would seem that their area of service covers quite the wide range and lets face it, the Town of Morrison is in between Golden, Littleton and right next to Lakewood. Bottom line though. We were fine with rescheduling, its in the voicemail that was inappropriate. Course one would think that when youre going to work on a property you should come prepared for any situation. Hello JP Total. Theyre located in Evergreen but actually service the front range area. Would seem out of their area but its all about customer service for them. Mountain High, dont bother responding to this review. The voicemail left on my cell phone was a response in and of itself. Next Ill be uploading the recording to Youtube.

Not satisfied with work at all. We had a large landscaping job and just about everything went wrong that could. 1. Foreman quit midway through work. 2. Ripped out 8 shrubs they were not supposed to because no one was on site to supervise. 3. Built a retaining wall in the wrong location (6 ft off from plan). 4. left the entire backyard filled with gravel and covered with an inch of soil impacting grass ability to grow. 5. Covered our rock garden in inch of sand so no good for anything now. 6. Paid extra for potting mix in garden which is just sand. 7. Guaranteed no harm to our sprinkler system and completely destroyed it, took no responsibility and left us to rebuilt it. Seems everything that could go wrong did. Spent a large sum of money for the work and would not recommend to anyone.

I had Mountain High Tree deliver their beautiful mulch to my house again this spring, and a few years ago as well. Theyre Dark Brown Fines mulch is awesome, its very rich and has a fine texture, is easy to shovel, and always seems to stay where I put it. It even breaks down quickly and so it likely improves the soil over time. Plus, it just looks great! Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks Mountain High Tree for delivering your excellent mulch again to our house in Park Hill its so much better than buying 20+ bags of the imported stuff from the store. I especially love that it is locally-made and organic!

I have had good service from Mountain High Tree (MHT), until the last service, which was to spray my evergreen trees. When I arrived home on the day of spraying, my neighbor, who lives directly across the street from me, asked me how many trees in the front yard I paid to be sprayed. I indicated 2 in front and 1 in back. He then told me that he observed the technician get set up and then only spray one side of 1 tree in front, and that the technician didnt spray the 2nd tree in front at all. The service truck was blocking my neighbors view of the entrance to my back yard so he couldnt comment on what did or did not happen in the back yard. Contacted MHT and was told that my neighbor must be mistaken. I trust my neighbor who had absolutely no motive to get involved other than to make sure I got the service I paid for, as he thought it strange only 1/2 of a tree would be sprayed. MHT handled this situation very badly (kept sending me bills requesting full payment when I do not believe they performed the full service) and as a result have lost a customer.

I love working with Mountain High Tree, weve been working with their Arborist Terry Schroder for many years, he helped us identify the 19 trees at our Park Hill home when we purchased it in the winter, I was impressed as he could ID the trees when dormant. We were excited to find out we have a Red Bud, several types of fruit trees, and Locust trees. Terry is my go-to for any tree related needs or tree-health questions, he always provides honest recommendations based on what our trees need and discourages unnecessary treatments/pruning. Their team has pruned our large locust trees, which is no easy feat their arborists climb the trees and also use a bucket to reach the highest branches. Fun to watch! They also have a great team of lawn experts and provide organic fertilization to keep our grass healthy. I highly recommend them!

Everyone I was in contact with at Mountain High was very professional. I was made to feel as though my business really mattered to them and I appreciate that very much. Mountain High put Christmas lights on my front yard tree (which is as tall as my 2-story house) and they did a FANTASTIC job. Just about every large and small branch was wrapped so the tree was COMPLETELY lit up. I was like, Wow, wow, wow. Stop the clock! Very classy, elegant, and high-end looking. I could not have been more pleased. In addition, Craig, the man who installed the lights, was a pleasure with whom to work. He was incredibly polite, personable in a quiet way, and very efficient. But what impressed me the most was his thoughtful attention to the rest of my yard. He noticed I had a tree that was susceptible to the Emerald Ash Borer (a bug that has been killing nearby trees) and offered some suggestions on how to protect it. He also happily and patiently answered questions I had about the rest of my yard even though he was just there to decorate my tree. I thought that was really nice. So five stars from me! Very happy I used them and continue to use only them in the future.

Great service, very knowledgeable on all aspects of tree care and lawn maintenance. I have used Mountain High for many years. I have a large number of specimen trees they take care of annually and they look beautiful. I use them for sprinkler repair as well as lawn fertilization and have had them design beds and plantings. Great people to work with !

After being stood up with no notice by another company, Mountain High was able to actually beat that companys price by about $50 and did an awesome job removing a huge overgrown tree and stump. They were a little slow to call back at first but once they scheduled my tree they kept in communication with me, everyone I dealt with was extremely polite, and they did a really awesome job.

The crews from Mountain High are always professional, on time and respectful. Theyve done landscaping (both design and installation/planting or whatever you call actually implementing the design) for me in the past, and I still get mulch from them. They have nice natural mulch that is not dyed, which works for me because of lots of pine needles - the landscape designer was so right about that. They stand behind their plants, too. One of the ornamental trees was looking a little scraggly, and they replaced it last summer. Its blooming now and it looks great.

I have used Mountain High Tree to maintain the health of my trees for my home and rental properties. They have done an excellent job of keeping my trees disease free. The provide recommended treatments based on the prevalence of insects and diseases for the current year. The call me with information on the day and time they will arrive to provide the service. I am very happy with them and highly recommend them health maintenance of your trees and shrubs.

I asked their estimator to quote cutting two trees back to about 2/3 of their height. When the crew got here, they refused to do what I asked and only thinned the interior of the trees. This leaves me with trees that are too high for my small area, and getting larger every day. This was a year ago, and now the trees have grown over 3 in every direction and are a danger of blowing down in a wind. If they wont do what you ask, they should say so and leave. I need trimming this year, but I am not calling Mountain High.

tree trimmers came to remove a tree next to my 8 year old peach tree they did this with no caution or thought of the peach tree they removed a branch and on the way down it hit the main branch of the peach tree and cracked the branch in half. this wouldnt have been that big of a deal if they would have notified me about it. so when i went to go look at the work half odf my peach tree was gone with no note no phone call nothing so when i called to complain they were just gonna replace the tree with an infant when i bought that peach tree it was already 5 years old and it had been in my yard for 3 years and it was my first year getting peaches so i wasnt about to replace it for a little peach tree that was probably 2 years old so if thats the case i would have had to wait 3-5 additional years to have peaches again so i tried to care for the peach tree as best as i could but it eventually died because of the tree trimmers neglect of the tree and notifying me of what they did.

as always, mountain high comes when scheduled, does a great job, and are courteous.

I first contacted Mountain High Tree, Lawn & Landscape for an ailing Ash tree. Another company had been treating it for insects for a few years but one year it started loosing leaves mid-summer. Mountain High checked it and found it had ash borers and told me there was nothing they could do to treat it until the following spring. I really appreciated their honesty about that, compared to the other company that came every 6 weeks (and billed me every 6 weeks) for services that didnt help my trees. Mountain High has come out to treat both my ash trees for the last 2 springs and I can see my tree recovering. And their services cost less than the other companys. I also contacted them to trim my 2 ash trees and a crab apple tree. They were on time and respectful and the left my yard clean. The trees were trimmed in January and now that they have leaves, they are still beautifully shaped and look amazing.

They have done a very good job at what they do. I have an agreement with MHT. & would recommend them to my neighbors.......................

Ive worked with the folks at Mountain High Tree, Lawn and Landscape for a number of years now, both professionally and personally. I manage community associations and have employed Mountain High for arbor care services from Arvada to South Denver to Aurora. Most recently, they helped my mother remove a 100 foot Ponderosa Pine from her front yard - it became diseased, suddenly died and required removal before a wind storm threatened to send it crashing down into her home. Kudos to the Mountain High Team - keep up the great work.

The work that they did and promised was amazing but this project started the first week in July and it took them over 4 months to do what they had promised (still waiting on a final item to be completed). I understand that they are very busy but it took me constantly calling to get them back out there to do work that they had promised to do. They also put in their contract that I would do future maintenance with them (would cost $1700+ per year) for which I had to pay another company to come out and punch holes in the grass, had to repeatedly call them to get them to come blow out my sprinklers, & had to spray my own weeds after repeatedly asking/calling for them to put me in their schedule. This company is very good when they show up but I suspect that they are too busy.

We are property managers for investor owners of single family homes. We have worked with Mountain High for many years. They are very responsive to our requests for advise on tree safety issues as well as they are very willing to help us find solutions to keep the cost of required tree work within the budget approved by our property owners. The staff at Mountain High works with us to keep the tenants living in the rental properties informed so they are not surprised to find workers at their home working on the trees or shrubs.

Mountain High last week removed six 25 ft junipers and manicured a complicated 30 ft snow crab. Their work was professional, neat, and economically priced. The snow crab manicure is indeed, a work of art. Mountain High has worked for us in the past and will work for us again.

Mountain High Tree has been taking care of my trees for years, their tree guys are great to work with, and they only recommend services my trees need - for example, while other tree companies recommend that our Elm be treated every year for bugs, the Mountain High Tree guys recommended that it really only needs to be treated every other year. I really appreciate their honesty - theyre not trying to make more money by recommending excessive treatments! And my trees are happier because of it. I highly recommend them to all my neighbors and friends.
