We don’t use these guys for sprinklers because we have no grass but we do use them for Christmas lights and they are absolutely awesome. If you’re looking for a Christmas light installer, these are your guys.

Love this company. Got an email reminder to schedule winterizing my sprinkler system, was able to schedule within the week, received a reminder call the night before and a phone call from technician 30 minutes before his arrival. Tony was personable and professional. So glad I found this company.
I put in a service call due to difficulty with our system continuously cycling and not automatically shutting down, and also what we thought was a broken/missing sprinkler head. We were concerned, as we are preparing to seed for the end of season. NJ Best gave me a next day appointment! Michael called me and informed me that he could arrive EARLIER THAN MY TIME! When he arrived, introduced himself and went straight to work. Within less than minutes informed me that there were no set programs on our system (possibly due to a power outage) and corrected that immediately. He and his partner then went directly to the geiser. Noting quickly it was a cracked line, and rapidly fixed it. Instead of saying "Okay, we're done here" as that was all I called for, they walked the property and thoroughly examined the full system and all heads despite the 95 degree day. Brought to my attention and corrected anything (with my concent) that they found. Oh, also dug and placed the grass back on the hole/dirt as if nothing ever happened - Super important when you have 2 German Shepherds that don't miss a trick and LOVE to dig! I would say this was nothing short of a perfect service call 👏👍
Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with this company that costed me $$$$ money that was not well spent and a bunch of stress. The owner of the company "Vinnie" threatened to "sue" me several times even though his contractors showed up on my property without me being home, and tore down most of my existing wood fence. I did not give this company a deposit, I was transparent and told him I was waiting to get the money. I did not want to move forward until I had the money and I did not a make a final decision to go with NJ Best Fencing. They kept being pushy saying the proposal was to "lock in the rate," I did not know it was a contract, it was not explained to me. I do not recommend NJ Best Lawns, Sprinklers & Fencing especially if you do not want to be treated as a number, and with disrespect and threatening to be "sued" the owner did not receive a down payment from me, yet he still had his crew show up without confirmation of the fence project. I told his salesman James, I wanted to think about it because it was $2000 more than their competitors, negative reviews, and they were not local. He sent me a new proposal and I did not sign it, it was not explained to me at all. Vinnie kept saying he will sue me if I did not move forward with his contractors installing my fence. He did not treat me as a human being, no compassion for the situation at hand, just another day of business for him. I had given another Fencing company a down deposit to install my fence and thank God, when I told them what happened with New Jersey Best, they graciously gave me my deposit back. The contractors with NJ Best showed up at 11 am every day, they took down my existing fence while I was not home and without my permission and the shrubbery without my permission. I had a family friend lined up to remove the shrubbery and some tree work, and I wanted it done while my old fence was in place because he needed access with a boom lift to take down a big tree in my backyard which I still need to have taken down but now I have a new fence installed, so makes it more complicated to access the tree and more expensive for me. I wanted a trusted person who does quality work and cleans up to take down the shrubbery on my fence and I wanted to give my family friend the work and money. The NJ Best contractors did not clean up the concrete, shrubbery, wood, old fence debris from my yard. Pictures do not lie, zoom in and you will see the debris in the pics. The owner just wanted his money, he called for the money, not to ask me about the Fencing project, or if his workers did a great job, NOTHING. I shouldn't have paid the full amount, which I did pay in full, via check within 2 business days of having the work completed, which he harassed me for the money. When his crew finished it took 3 days and it was completed on Friday. The head contractor said he would come on Thursday to finish, I get a call on Thursday around 10 am that they would not be able to come out on Thursday, possibly Friday or Saturday. I have 2 dogs and my backyard was wide open for anyone to see, they did not care. The work is average at best and the customer service and experience was horrendous.
Victor and the crew are absolutely amazing at repairing and diagnosing sprinkler problems. They ran a new line under my driveway within a few hours while maintaining conciousness of other underground utilities. After the line was ran Victor cycled thru all zones to insure that the repair was good. Bravo to Victor and the NJ Best work crew!!! Sincerely, The Losquadro Family

This is the worst company you could work with. Back in 2016,they did a poor job in installing my sprinklers system that I had to ask another contractor to fix it. Since then they also billed me for certain lawn service work that actually never provided. Avoid this company!!

Christmas lights look amazing!
Quick and professional setup of my Christmas lights. It was done during the day so couldn t see if all the lights were working. Checked in the evening and saw about seven lights not working. I called the next day to report the non- working bulbs. They were out the next day to replace! Always great service as I use them for lawn cutting, spring and fall leaf cleanup, landscape lighting and fence repair. I m always impressed by how responsive they are. I highly recommend them for any of these services.

March 2024- Steve was friendly, thorough, and efficient! He explained the details of the work that was needed before moving forward. Im very pleased with the service. July 2024- I called the company because the system stopped working as I was advised to do so. They set up a visit, and the gentleman who came by said that I needed to replace all 6 valves due to corrosion at about $175 a piece. I declined, and the gentleman left. It seemed to me that an issue that would prevent the system from running could have been addressed at the time it was started in March. A few weeks later, I got a bill for $138. I called the company, and the woman I spoke with insisted that I should know that there was a fee for a service call. While I can understand, I explained that the person who started the system could have told me that the entire valve system would need to be replaced soon. This was obvious to the 2nd gentleman who came to see it. So, on top of the $536 to get the system running, they wanted $1050 to fix it so that it can run. I find this to be poor business practice.

Steve is hard working and knowledgeable but he cut corners to save time. When I pointed out a defect/mismatch in his work, he was NOT willing to correct it and left it as it is shown in the picture, a slanted pipe fitting. He did not do a satisfactory job. With his knowledge and expertise, I hoped for a better fitting especially b/c I was charged a hefty fee of $375 to change a vacuum pressure valve . He did the minimum for the maximum money.

Krystyl is a very competent technician that serviced my lawn sprinkler needs. She knew how to operate the Toro Evolution controller without hesitation in order to test the various zones of my system. Then she replaced the sprinkler head in the postion that was not operating satisfactorily, and the lawn does not look like it was disturbed at all because she did such a great job. I have had NJ Best Lawn Sprinklers servicing my system for almost two years now and I will not go back to the company that originally installed the system, EVER! They seemed to have an attitude. Whereas NJ Best Lawn Sprinklers listened to me and worked with me! I recommend them to Everyone and Anyone!

No call. No show. I had an appointment for a fence quote scheduled today between 12-1 PM. Its now 3:15 and I havent heard a word. We will do business with another company that respects our time and need to use PTO days in order to be there when people say they will. Dont mail flyers for your business if youre this unreliable. This is totally unacceptable in 2024 when everyone has a way to communicate.
Krystyl was very good. Knew just how to fix the sprinkler problem. Also VERY NICE. NJ Sprinkler has an EXCELLENT employee.
Frank arrived at my address on time. Even though I had not yet arrived, he called me and asked if anything needed attention. I informed him about a sprinkler head that was pooling water on my driveway. He fixed the leak and flushed the system, all without my being present. He also did a walk around inspection to assess coverage and noticed that valve cover plates had not been correctly reinstalled after the spring startup service & corrected those two issues as well. Frank did a great job and took care of several issues for me.
Arturo got the work done. I suggest that Arturo be trained to spend some time with customers in explaining what was done and how it works.
Victor was very thorough and patient with my requests. He also found out that there was an xtra sprinkler head in an area that needed remedying.

Worst experience of contracted work to date. Office personal didn t respond to a call back I requested. No contact from anyone after work started. Work was mediocre at best and they didn t show up till almost 11 o clock each day. Didn t show on last day to finish. When my fiancé called she was given the buisness as usual. Yea sorry about that. I ll see if they can come back Fri Saturday, after she voiced her concern about her back yard wide open so anyone could walk in !! Yard was left a mess. And work was mediocre.
Krystal did an amazing job to set sprinkler heads. She quickly found the issue with one of the zone and corrected it. NJ Best Lawns are my go to for Sprinkler issues and winter shutdowns for few years now
Would have liked a little more communication from the office with an estimated time of arrival. I had in my head they were coming in 2days. I did have it on my calendar but when the guys where not here in the am I assumed it was scheduled for Monday. Also if somone explained the HydraWise wifi controller I probably would have opted for that. I only noticed today on the contract it could save me up to 50% on my water consumption. Other than that everything went seamless quick install. Guys showed up after lunch and finished by 5pm, 7 zones, 25+ heads cleaned up everything. Arturos crew are machines very nice and courteous went over my controller just missing the owners manual.
We were having issues with some zones and solenoids. NJ Lawns finally fixed our issues but after three home visits. Final technician that fixed concerns was very knowledgeable and efficient. Earlier techs were ok but did not fully solve problems and left work incomplete (I.e. no wire nuts on new zones, repaired leak to back flow but actually made leak worse). Price was fair but shouldnt have taken three visits over 4 weeks.

Steven was awesome but I ll think twice about doing business with NJ Best Lawn Sprinklers again . Been doing business with them .. fall blow outs etc .. they came out to repair my timer and couldn t even give me a break on service call . Or even apply it to 325.00 bill ! It was not the installation fee of 55.00 it was a service charge fee that could have been waived since I ve been a customer.. don t lie in your response.. it makes it worse!!!

Called for repair and was put on schedule for 1 week out. Get confirmation night before. Spend half the day waiting for NJ Best to show - never showed up. No call. Left several messages since it ended up being after hours on a Saturday. Finally received call back Monday saying we will just put you back on schedule. Done with this lack of service- moving on to a new company
NJ, Best Lawn and Sprinklers were attentive to my issue concerning one of their technician s who had initially turned off my water outside. A new technician was sent out to rectify the issue on the day that I requested. I was very impressed with the professionalism and the skill level of Frank who was the technician that rectify the problem. I am extremely satisfied with the service that this company offers to its customers. Therefore, I would recommend NJ Best to anyone who is considering a sprinkler system for their residence. They value their customers.

When Frank arrived at the house I was able to walk around to identify the different sprinkler heads. We identified all the zones and he needed to fix some heads and I authorized him to repair Zone 3 which had broken pipe. In all Frank was thorough to ensure he completed his tasks. I was happy with his work.
I unfortunately had to have my well pump replaced for my sprinkler irrigation. Steve was the tech that came today. He was very knowledgeable about all things to do with the pump. He answered all my questions and I had a lot of them. I also had some valves replaced. He made the process as easy as it could be for me. I would highly recommend him .
Aaron was able to correctly adjust sprinkler heads and also repair the leaking the backflow that the previous service representative could not accomplish.. this man deserve a raise or a bonus. Actually should lead your training dept. Thank you Aaron for for exemplary services.

I find that everyone who I deal with at NJB to be very nice and accommodating. This includes the technicians who come to our house. I do however have a problem with your system of not giving a time when the work will be done at the time I make an appointment. We get a call with a time late the previous day. We cant make plans because we have no idea when the tech person will arrive. We also have had times when we never received that call. This is a very bad system and should be changed. Many people I know agree with me.

Victor and the team were great! I will be honest the office and scheduling needs to be better I had an appointment for first thing Friday and no one called. I took off the day to be home and no one showed. I called 3 times and each time I got. I reached out to tech waiting on him to get back to me. Spoke with some Saturday and after the 2nd call I was told they will come first thing Monday morning. They ended up coming around 9:45. But victor and his crew are great! Cleaned up the mess like no one was there.

Technician Mike arrived at my home at the scheduled time. Was very customer focused, friendly and easy to work with during the sprinkler inspection and replacement effort. He provided practical advise and explanation of the issues and I never felt pressured to replace any heads. Good Job Mike!

This company installed my sprinkler 2 years ago. They sent a technician at my house on March 2024, at the beginning of the season to turn on the lawn sprinkler . I prepaid that service. The guy set it up to run 7 days a week. I called the company to let them know. They sent another technician to correct the mistake of previous technician. I received a bill for $133.28. That means I have to pay twice for that service. I have to pay for their technician mistake. They refused to waive the charge. Bad experience with them.

Was having a hard time getting my well pump to turn on at the beginning of the season. Wish I had called sooner for service. I was just afraid it was going to be something more involved. Dont exactly know what the problem was but Tony got it working in less than 30 minutes. I had a sprinkler head that wasnt working so they ran a new line and everything is up and running great.

Overall good from Frank C. Initially there was an issue with where the shut off valve was which in most homes is in the basement but in my neighborhood it s actually outside near the street. My hubby was aware of where it was but the technician who is newer was not. Eventually all was good and service turned on. We ve been customers of NJ Lawn for years.
Steve, the technician who came to open the sprinklers was professional and mannerly when addressing my concerns and questions regarding my sprinkler system. Moving forward I would prefer him to come out of everyone with the company. He definitely knows what he is doing!
