We have been using GMTS for two seasons. This year we had them out to diagnose a system we inherited at a home in Lakewood. Expertise and due diligence what Chris and Malakai bring to the job. They replaced and updated 7 In-Line valves and were able to get our system back up and running. Chris personally walked me through all of the zones and offered his feedback and ability to either approve of, adjust or replace each sprinkler head. I would highly recommend getting on their schedule early in the season, or at least have some flexibility in you schedule/need for your service call. 100% worth having GMTS take care of your irrigation system integrity.

I called Chris because I needed to repair a sprinkler head that was different from what I was accustomed to. He told me he wasnt taking new clients at the time, but explained the workings of the head in detail so I could do the repair myself. Every experience I have had with this company has been great! They have been performing sprinkler blowouts for me for 2 years in addition to various maintenance and repairs. Both the owner and his team are great. On multiple occasions, Chris has walked me through general maintenance or any questions I have step by step over the phone, making sure I understand and can do things for myself when he s not around. The gentleman I spoke with said he couldn t help me because he wasn t taking new clients. I can understand that but when I asked if he could refer me to another company he told me he couldn t provide someone competent and told me good luck. Strange and rude interaction.

The problem was that his immediate rebuttal to hearing he has the highest price was to bash another business and was condescending towards my husband. Would not recommend if professionalism is what you re seeking.

Used them for the first time because I was having constant sprinkler problems and lawn was dying. They were able to figure out the issue and fix it right away. They also helped me adjust my watering schedule on my app and get it set up to schedule. They are experts in sprinklers and will be using them from now on! They are busy but well worth the wait in my opinion.

Worked with Chris on my property when I was out of town and was unable to be present for all of the work needing to be done. I needed a main valve replacement which required a 6 foot hole to be dug up. Chris was very responsive, kind, and went above and beyond for me. Poor communication. Both my wife and I had an extremely rude and condescending interaction with Chris while they came to do a sprinkler blowout. He acted as if it was a burden to be there. Last time I use this company.

Chris came out for a quick repair of what was supposed to be a broken sprinkler line. It turned in to a 4 hour job and a significant overhaul of my defunct sprinkler system. What he did in 4 hours would ve taken me days to do and my sanity may not have prevailed if I had done it. I would highly recommend Chris and his guys. He told me what was happening and if there was a choice in cost during the process.

Chris is the best. He explains everything in detail, walks you through everything. Very knowledgeable and skilled - he is a very efficient contractor who gets the job done well and gets it done in a timely manner. We were highly impressed with his professionalism and work. Update 7/26/2022: The owner reached out and offered to make things right. They came out this morning to fix the problem areas and went above and beyond. It seems the problems I had were the exception and not the norm as everything looks much better this time. Overall Id definitely recommend them again. Update 4/18/2022: Unfortunately a number of sprinkler heads they replaced are lifting out of the ground over time. Some of the lines they ran have floated out of the ground(werent buried deep enough). Some of the areas with poor coverage have not improved. Original: These guys are the best. We had a leak that I was unable to locate. They found it fairly quickly and also found a seized valve for a disconnected sprinkler zone I didnt even know we had(new home). They replaced the valves and put in a new box properly sized to access all the valves(unlike before). They explained things incredibly well, did great work and pricing was fair. Going to have them come back out to fix some additional areas. Highly recommend!

I m so glad I called Green Mountain Turf. My husband and I recently bought a house with a sprinkler system and were not aware we needed to blow out the lines to winterize it. When we did find out, we immediately called GMT and Chris came by within a few hours to help us out (despite the being booked up all week). He explained how to use and care for our system and we greatly appreciate his service/knowedge.

They fixed our sprinklers after the first two sprinkler companies we hired simply made the problem worse. They dug up a whole line that was a mess when we didnt have our sprinklers blown out before winter and the pipe had split apart. They called us back afterwards to make sure we were still happy. They are amazing, and in the busy season they are still more than worth the wait.

Called late on a Saturday, they were closing in about 5 minutes, had a ruptured shutoff valve on my sprinkler system. They still came over in about two hours and they had it fixed in 30 minutes. They were very professional and did an outstanding job. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you very much.

Chris and Rachio came out to winterize our sprinkler system for us today. We may have waited a bit too long to do it, but are so releived to have it crossed off the to do list now.They installed a wifi-enabled smart system for us over the summer that we have absolutely loved, and they continue to demonstrate excellent service and are very responsive. Part of todays visit didnt go quite as expected due to a valve but were so glad to have folks working on our system that know what theyre doing! Were glad to be all set for the winter and look forward to scheduling our spring appointment.

TERRIBLE! They overcharged me for work they never did and left my system worse off than before they started. I hired another company and they showed me additional broken parts which were working great prior to green mountain even showing up. I do not recommend green mountain for anything. Call someone else!

***UPDATE 5/29/20*** The day after my initial review posted (1 star for poor communication and missed appointment), I received a call from Chris. He was extremely apologetic, and professional in acknowledging our communication problem. This is a very busy time and year for them, and sometimes mistakes happen. The thing is, Chris stepped up to the plate and made things right! Chris made sure to schedule an appointment on 5/28 or 5/29 at my convenience to make things right. Appointment was set for 8-10am on 5/29. George and another associate (didnt get his name, whoops!) showed up right on time with a call ahead to confirm. I can now say I completely agree with the majority of reviews for GMT. The amount of effort George put in to get my system running was nothing short of insane. These guys had to pull up a concrete slab sidewalk section, rip through a monster root, replace ~8ft of pipe, a few heads, and adjusted several other zones to fix a coverage issue. All this only took them ~2 hours! Huge thanks to them and Im very impressed! My sprinkler system hasnt ran this smooth since I bought the house 2 years ago. George and team were extraordinarily professional and polite. I couldnt be more pleased with the outcome of this situation. I plan to use them again in the future to install some additional heads in the back yard. I highly recommend Green Mountain Turf, thanks Chris!

Chris and his team did a top notch job on a system that was broken due to a new sewer line. On time, thorough and good communication. Highly recommend.

Came on the weekend to fix a broken line that other contractors broke. Stayed longer than they planned so they could do more work for us. We added heads relocated heads changed valves so that we could get water to newly landscaped areas. They were very knowledgeable and professional. If you want a sprinkler company that is knowledgeable and does good work give them call.

Chris and team were tremendous. Had a main sprinkler line break and a bunch of zones acting up. They swooped in and had everything fixed within a couple hours and at reasonable cost. More importantly to us, they did a great job replacing the sod and fill dirt to minimize what were originally pretty large holes. We ve had a number of fly-by-night guys in the past but glad we called Green Mountain. Would recommend to anyone.

I called to schedule an irrigation system blowout but they were booked up until after the upcoming freeze. Rather than scheduling for later and moving on, Chris walked me through how to winterize enough to hold me over until they could make their appointment. Chris and George came over just a few days after I contacted Angies List, and replaced my broken sprinkler pipe that had been spewing water when I tried to turn on the system. They replaced my antiquated timer with a Rachio 3 wi-fi timer which is so cool! It will save water and I wont have to guess at scheduling! They also replaced my ancient sprinkler heads that were constantly needing adjustment with new and improved sprinkler heads, so I wont end up watering the sidewalk or my neighbors rocks. Im so glad AL put me in touch with this company! They totally know what theyre doing, are reasonably priced, very congenial, work weekends at no extra charge, and THEY SHOW UP WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL!!!

George was one of the few contractors who even called me back to rebuild my sprinkler valve box. He had a cancellation one day and came over the same day to do the work. Its clear he knew exactly what he was doing, and in a few hours totally rebuilt my valve box. My sprinkler system has been dead for seven years, but now it works. He tested everything and gave me some recommendations about upgrading my sprinkler heads. So glad I found Green Mountain and gave them a call.

I had a great experience with this company. When I called, someone picked up the phone!! George was professional and pleasant. They showed up in time which is a plus! They came prepared with everything needed to install some new copper piping that wasnt originally part of my plan. I have been using Green Mountain for sprinkler repairs for the past couple of years. Chris and George are both extremely professional and very good at what they do. They are both very easy to work with and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with the work they have done. This year I have had them out twice already for two unrelated issues. The second time out, Chris came to repair a valve head. The amazing thing was he came out on Fathers Day (Sunday, 6/16) to fix my sprinkler. Pricing is very reasonable as well. Nothing about Green Mountain not to like.

I just used Green Mountain Turf Sprinkler Repair for the first time and they were remarkable! Ive been dealing with sprinkler issues for months and called George yesterday and he not only showed up at the house within 2 hours of my phone call, he removed and installed 5 new sprinkler heads and now my lawn is getting the coverage as needed. This company is great and very responsive. I had them come out last month and replace and repair a couple of sprinkler heads. Everything was working good until earlier this week and noticed one of the heads wasnt reaching all the way. Called and spoke to Chris he scheduled George to come out. We have used these guys now for over a year and have been very happy! They fixed and extended our sprinkler system, changed out heads and blew out our system before a snow storm came in. Our lawn finally looks how it should! They are knowledgeable, efficient and fairly priced and we will keep using them.

Chris and his team at GMTSR are very good. Called him out originally to check out and address some issues with new homes sprinkler system. He did a tremendous job installing a new anti-siphon valve, replacing the sprinkler head box along new shutoff valves. Didnt hesitate to call him out again this year to find/fix some leaks in the system and when the new Wi-Fi controller face plate didnt fit on properly he took it up with the manufacturer personally to get it resolved. Wont go anywhere else for my sprinkler needs as this company is dedicated to great service and stands by their work.

Sprinklers! I bought a home that had a sprinkler system installed, but was marked as non-functional during purchase. Thats fine, I thought, I can hire someone to fix it! Had a separate company come out, and got a quote - but they were unable to start work any time soon. I waited about a week and a half before signing up for Homeadvisor, and posting a project requesting a sprinkler repair. (The other company had a family emergency going on, so I dont blame them too much!). Green Mountain Turf called me within minutes of the job being posted; Chris was ordering breakfast that moment, but could be out soon. He started mentioning rates, and I got excited, asking if hed be able to fix anything today (since Id already been stuck in limbo with the previous company, didnt want to get stuck in limbo again!) - He said absolutely, and maybe an hour later, I had multiple people in my yard fixing my sprinklers. They took a DIY mess of sprinklers that hadnt been touched in probably 10 years (my best guess from how the previous owners said they bought it with a non-functional sprinkler system, and they lived here for about 8 years) - And turned that into a functional sprinkler system. In a couple of hours, I now have all of the installed sprinklers working, and Green Mountain Turf is coming back out in 2 days to add 2 more zones (they found a cut off pipe underneath a sidewalk, so now they have to dig and reconnect things) - as well as install a wifi smart sprinkler control panel. I could not be happier. The price was very reasonable; and they were very efficient and kind! They involved me where they saw fit - and were very thorough in making sure every sprinkler that was setup was aiming correctly and what not. Very happy with Green Mountain Turf, and very happy with my first HomeAdvisor experience!

I have an older sprinkler system (from the 80s), and have hired Green Mountain Turf for numerous repairs/upgrades this summer. This team has been comprehensive and knowledgeable with getting everything up to code and modernized. The quality is excellent and they present fair pricing for their work. I plan to recruit them again if Im ever in need.

Recently had Green Mountain out for the second time. Last year they responded quickly to an emergency leak. Recently they upgraded an aging sprinkler system with a Wi-Fi enabled unit. Saves water and simple to use. Pricing was fair, service awesome. Chris and George rock!

These guys were great! We had done some major back yard remodeling the previous summer and in the process discovered that there were issues with two of our zones in that area. One of the valves in our box had begun leaking, and two of the solenoids were not working correctly and we were absolutely dreading trying to tackle this issue on our own. I looked around at several companies and was unable to schedule an appointment for an estimate, or even get a call back, until we called Chris at Green Mountain Turf! They answered the phone right away, and then said they would be able to come check out our system that afternoon! They arrived, quickly and easily diagnosed the problem and in under 2.5 hours they had not only replaced our valve box, but were also able to fix one of our sprinkler heads which we had fought with during the previous summer. We are so satisfied with their work! They were fast, clean, respectful, knowledgeable and very reasonably priced! We will definitely be calling in the future for any further irrigation needs! WOW!

I rarely get angry enough to post negative reviews for services I have received, but the experience we had with this company was unacceptable. We called them out because one zone of our sprinkler system wasnt working properly. First they asked if they could cut back a bush that was in the way. That was perfectly reasonable, so we agreed. Next thing we knew the entire bush had been chopped off at the ground. Literally. Its GONE. Then they dug up a mysteriously cracked pipe, replaced it, replaced another part, the problem still wasnt fixed, replaced the same part somewhere else, still not fixed, by this time we were down 200$ is parts and services and it was getting late so they left to come back the next day and finish the job. Still no idea or solution for our original problem, so we didnt let them return, and paid them what we owed them, even though we had to track them down even to do that because they never called us back. My husband just fixed the original problem, PLUS another leak in our backyard sprinkler system that they quoted us 140$ for, with 70$ worth of parts from a hardware store. We will be filing a Better Business Bureau report against them.
