Called many times never called back.

Signed up for their landscaping and snow removal service and was told by Wes that because I procrastinated he wasn t going to plow. My mom was in ICU for the past week but that didn t matter. Horrible service, horrible people. Not getting my business.

So far our experience has been great! Easy to work with when I initially reached out for a quote on their services, fast response times and very flexible in their options so we could find what fit our needs. Technicians that are coming out to perform services have been very courteous and done a great job. Weve only used them for lawn services at this time but also planning on using their snow removal services. 7/10/24- We did end up using them for snow removal services over the winter (23/24) and they did amazing! They are back again for our lawn services this year and well be continuing to work with them for a very long time! Great customer service, great work in general, and great value for what you pay.

They designed a very nice concrete patio around my existing pergola. From design to finishing the job they were on time and communicated very well.

My driveway, sidewalk and front door were cleared well with the skill sets they require in their employees. Contract agreements and prices need some caressing, so the customer knows and understand things a head of time..... and required payments can then be made.

We have had such an amazing experience with Westside Grounds! We use their snow removal, lawn services, sprinkler services, and spring cleanup services. They were always very prompt to show up to remove snow when it was snowing and they did such an amazing job with spring cleanup. They are helpful and responsive every time I call and they make billing very easy. I highly recommend them!

Lost some mature bushes and parts of our lawn due to a car running off the road. Most requests for repair estimates either ignored or turned down, too small a job. Westside came out, gave estimate, did repairs. Always on time, efficient use of time. Five bushes and torn lawn repaired by friendly employee. Great experience.

Well I did like the fact that they came out within 24 hours to aerate my yard ?? I however did not like the fact that it was done with email - I get hundreds of emails everyday! a lot to have to sort through. I had to leave town and when I came back I hadn t seen that the aeration had been done . I did see an email informing me that the bill was outstanding and had a penalty of $35!!! When I called to explain my displeasure with the emails and the outrageous late fee she just reiterated that the bill was sent by email. I just think it was way too much for an $88 bill. I would have thought that if you want to keep a new customer you would want to bring down the late charge or maybe waive the fee if I sign up for lawn service?? Not budging one bit. I was going to sign up for further services, but I will take my business elsewhere!! Thank you Randy Atencio

I really like these folks and the quality of the work and their friendly professional attitude toward the job. I have a slow growing lawn and I especially like the fact that they dont insist on only serving customers who who want weekly mowing. Also, they speak English which is a plus.

I use Westside Grounds for snowplowing at an office building. We establish the parameters with Westside about when to plow, where to move the snow, and how much snow needs to accumulate before they plow. Never had an issue and I highly recommend them.

Westside Grounds removed landscape rock, ripped out 5-6 dead bushes, then replaced weed barrier and rock. All in a timely manner. Very nice work.

Westside grounds is reliable and they do good work. They are expensive so for a big job be prepared to pay accordingly. For a relatively small job, such as spring cleanup, which they did for me this spring, its worth paying a little more to get good work.

Been working with Westside for the last 3 years. They have helped me with adding new trees to my landscape. They assured me that if the trees didnt make it that they were insured. A few of the trees didnt make it and sure enough they replaced them when the time was right. Fully recommend them for their great work and being true to their word.

Have used Westside a few times for aeration. They did a good job at a reasonable price. They have been great at communication. Getting work done in the spring means working around weather and when it s come up they have been great at reaching out and rescheduling, prompt and on time.

The workers are polite and honest and arrive on time as scheduled. I have no complaints and I thank you for your service. An unfortunate accident when weeding occurred and Westside Grounds replaced my fledgling bare root lilacs with mature bushes which are beautiful and more than they had to do. I have used Westside Grounds the last several years for spring clean up, aeration, and various other services. The process is very easy to schedule, they keep you informed of the status of your project and conduct themselves professionally.

I have used Westside Grounds for one year, and will use them for this year for mowing, fertilizing, monthly trimming. There is direct contact to an actual person by email or phone - so there is a quick response to any questions or concerns. They are working with my services schedule this year to allow me to spread out mowing to every other week, to allow me to water less and give the grass time to grow. I recommend Westside Grounds. I dont like the blower cleanup, however, it is impossible to avoid, with a commercial service. I would rate a 5 star if there was another cleanup method.

We recently got sod laid in our backyard by Westside grounds. The whole process was seamless from start to finish. Their crew worked incredibly hard and had the job done in a timely manner. We were pleased!

This company charged me $1600 for less than 2 hours of work. When they arrived, it was like the Keystone Cops of gardening: no one knew what I wanted done. They left not completing the job and I had to call them to come back to finish the job. Nice people, but I wont deal with them again.

Westside Grounds came out to aerate and weed and feed my lawn and I couldnt be more pleased. They were on time, very courteous and professional. My thanks goes out to them. I would recommend them to anyone.

Very disappointed in the service we received from this company. We had asked them to fix our sprinkler system (broken pipe underground) and change out our current sprinkler heads to high efficiency ones that would actually spray our entire yard and not create dead spots. They fixed the pipe, but the irrigation control box which was buried underground originally, is now a foot and a half above ground because they couldnt go to the trouble to put it back as they found it. The tech who visited us was also clearly not a proficient English speaker so we had a lot of difficulties communicating with him. He showed up after the originally scheduled window and didnt even tell us when he was done, just up and left. Because of the communication issues we didnt get our high efficiency heads and honestly we wont be calling them back to service anything since their attention to detail and care for our home was lacking.

Weve been using Westside for several years. They help maintain the tricky maintenance schedules for me - lawn care, yard cleanup, gutters, etc. They are very professional and reliable.

The cost of the yard service is expensive. The service is ordinary. Not worth it in my humble opinion.

Westside has been my regular provider for annual lawn aeration and more recently, I decided to give them a try for a few one-time lawn mowings when we were out of town. Theyve always done a great job for us. Its been particularly useful that Ive been able to schedule either mowing or aeration down to a specific day. Also, theyve always been great about letting us know when they would be arriving. The jobs have always been done efficiently and on time.

Wow, the disturbance that this company causes to clear leaves is amazing. 2 hours of horrible noise, dust as high as the neighboring houses enveloping all the houses in the area, requiring car and window washing for everyone, 2 incredibly loud machines that caused annoyance to the whole block...all to clear a very small lawn of leaves that could be raked in half an hour. Shame on this company for using such horrible practices, and not caring about the environment or well being of neighbors.

I must say that I am very impressed with Westside Grounds. Our landscaper and yard service provider of over 10 years retired 3 years ago and we have been searching since then for someone we can trust to come in and take over. After working with at least a half a dozen different companies, who all failed miserably, we cam across Westside Ground as they were in our neighborhood servicing a neighbor. Their work has been amazing. They respond quickly, do what they say they are going to do, they are on time and deliver when they say they are going deliver. They charge a premium, but fair price for their services - you get what you pay for. If you want it done right, hire these guys.

We hired Westside Grounds to clean up the front and back yards of our new home. The house had been empty for about a year up until we moved in, so there was a lot of yard maintenance required. They were very responsive and quick in sending someone out to see the yard and give us a quote, which we felt was very reasonable given the extent of the work required. They were easy to schedule and showed up on time. The crew that came did a great job - it looks like a completely different house. The crew leader, Daniel, took the time to stop and ask questions about our preferences, explain to us what work they were doing, and do a walkthrough to make sure they covered everything we discussed when given the quote. I have used many landscaping companies before and by far THE GROUNDS GUYS of Lakewood are the best. Our home sits on a 3/4 acre of natural terrain. They do a great job with our property. They have no problem with the uneven Terrain and the size of the acreage... They have the equipment to handle it. Jerry is a pleasure to work with and he goes that extra mile to complete the job we need. He always is Pleasant and shows up when expected with a smile and with an attitude that is enjoyable to work with. He and his helper make sure they mow the property as we request and trim around all of the trees and boundaries and make sure they clean up all the grass clippings from the yard and sidewalk and Street. I would highly recommend them and I myself am going to make a call to them right now to schedule for this year.

I called to inquire about the cost to have some landscaping done. The person who answered the phone was rude, didnt answer all of my questions, and hu on me. For this kind of service, I can only imagine how their workers must act.

I had a new cedar fence built by the Grounds Guys. They were skilled to the point of perfection. They were polite and took great care to treat my property and me with respect.

This company is the best that I have dealt with they do it right, I give them 5 stars for their employees.

I had worked out a weed prevention / fertilization plan with these guys last year. I called early this season to make sure we were on schedule and was assured we were all good to go. Fast forward to a couple weeks past when they were supposed to show up and do my herbicide treatment and they still had not done it but would be there soon. They finally showed up and did the spray which was minimally effective against the, at that point, totally out of control thistle and dandelion (they needed to spray WEEKS sooner). They never even performed the scheduled mowing either. Cancelled the rest of the services I had scheduled and now they want a google review...sure thing. I gave them 2 stars because the gutter cleaning I scheduled last season was performed adequately.

We had an unfavorable experience with this company. They removed some gravel and sand, laid down sod, extended our fence and conducted work to our sprinkler system that was associated with these landscape projects. In general, the communication during these projects was terrible and conversations with the project manager were not well communicated to the team that actually did the work. As a result, there were many issues with these projects. The spring after this work was complete, we turned on our sprinkler system and had nothing but issues (breaks in the line, sprinkler heads on the wrong side of the fence, parts of the lawn isolated with no sprinklers touching them). The Grounds Guys came out five separate times to finally fix and complete the job that we had already paid them for. They then charged us for each time they came out to conduct the repair. In fairness, after explaining the situation to the company owner, they did drop these superfluous charges. The entire process was stressful and frustrating and we do not recommend this company for your landscaping projects.

We have been using the Grounds Guys ever since we bought our new house, we cant believe how green our lawn is! We have never had a lawn service before, but we couldnt be more satisfied. Wow, how disappointed we have become with the Grounds Guys. Their follow up is poor. We recommended Grounds Guys to our daughter, the website says free quote yet they attempted to charge her $50. We need a service you can depend on and trust ....thats not the Grounds Guys!

This is a pretty good company; reliable, reasonable, and they sorted out the sprinklers, cut down some shrubs and trees. I recommend calling them.

I only have praise for this company and employees, no complaints, and I have dealt with a lot of contractors. Josh and Julio were very patient, discussed ideas, answered questions, dealt with issues that arose. They have excellent customer service and communication, fair pricing, and quality work. Everything you look for in hiring a contractor they have so call them they will treat you right. Many thanks guys!!!

Used these guys to aerate, power rack, and overseed my lawn. It took them coming out three times to get it right. Then they waited a month and a half before sending me an invoice for the full cost. Wont use them next year.

Perfectly honest I think there are better company s that will do better yard maintenance at more reasonable costs. I had a few issues with Grounds Guys including scheduling and scope of work, but Joe was professional and apologized for my troubles. To be fair maybe my yard size was too small for a company their size to give me competitive pricing and to be at the top of their list for schedule. I will not be using Grounds Guys for my future needs.

I really hate doing this because my first experience with them working on my sprinkler system was great; this time however it was horrific. I had one branch due to our last snow storm that was broken at the top of our tree, overhanging our drive way - I called up The Grounf Guys to have them remove it, they said they would call back that week with a date and time, but no call. So I called the next week and got the same response....so I called the next week - and got the same response. After 4 tries, I finally got them to come out and I have seriously had trees removed from my property for the same cost they charged me for one branch. For the cost of that one branch, one would think that they would clean up the broken limb and make the tree somewhat nice looking again, but nope, they just removed the branch, the jagged end of the limb and the tear down its limb to the tree trunk are still there. Twenty minutes, and they used my ladder, and this is what I got for my money. So which is the norm, the work they did on my sprinkler, or the work they did on my tree - either way, I will not use them again!

Ive used The Grounds Guys of Lakewood a few times for my sprinkler after hubby thought he could fix it. The Grounds Guys came out promptly & got it working. I will call them again when my hubby thinks he can trouble shoot a problem.. LOL

They did mow the grass on schedule, but we experienced some issues along the way. Our fence gate wasnt wide enough for the equipment and ended up being damaged. We also had a lawn chair damaged. Josh did a great job of communicating with us and resolving the issues we had. He repaired the fence and replaced the chair without any argument and called me to make sure we were happy with everything. I really appreciated his attitude and help!

Josh came out to take a look at the yard and project. After telling him what I had in mind, he took measurements and went on his way, saying hed get back to me with an estimate. I never heard from him again. The companys slogan is Giving you your time back, but my experience was nothing more than a waste of time.

The worker that came to give a quote obviously didnt want the work so he said it would be $900 to weed wack a mow the lawn since it would take a whole crew all day.I rented equipment and did it myself in three hours. At least they 8mspired me to do it myself. My advice? Do it yourself or hire a neighborhood kid. This comany is a waste of time.

This is my first season with the Ground guys mowing and trimming team. They do excellent work and more........the More is blowing off any grass that has gotten on the patio. I am five Star satisfied. I also use their snow shoveling service. They are the best business I have ever had regarding keeping you informed of any changes in your service. During the big blizzard it was impossible to keep up with the snow. they kept me informed about the changing schedule. Made me feel like a valued customer.

I have used The Grounds Guys for my sprinkler care for years now, the amazing thing is how quickly they come over when there is a leak, even on a weekend. Since leaks always happen on a weekend, it is a great service to have. One Saturday our entire side lawn was flooded, we didnt know a pipe had broken underground until someone stepped into the swamp. Don Johnson came right away and turned it off.

The Grounds Guys of Lakewood are an absolutely amazing group of individuals!! They are efficient, respectful and very thorough! I highly recommend their crews for any landscaping and snow removal needs.

I have no problem with the work they do. They do workman like work. They are on time. Their problem is there front office and there billing. Very unprofessional. In the spring of 2016, I spent and inordinate amount of time trying to get a bill from them. I needed that bill to keep my books straight. And that payment is not reflected in there books. This fall I received an invoice and a separate overdue 9 weeks after the work. Then I get another over due letter a week later. I am done with them. I dont need this aggravation.

The worst Landscape company in Lakewood!! Left our property AND our CARS a mess. When I called to ask them to rectify the situation, they couldnt hang up fast enough. Seriously do NOT hire them for ANYTHING!!!

Apparently they employ racists, and when confronted about it, they block or delete their page. Im seeing this on the Internet with screenshots. If they wont deal with racism, then dont hire hem. I wonder how they treat minority customers? people of color?
