I'm not a customer but had to experience their product. Those signs companies put up that say "hey we spewed cancerous sludge on the grass here". They're 98% ad with a super tiny box with tiny writing that cant be read from 2 feet away. They face them towards the road and not the sidewalk... where people walk and might actually get in the grass. Thus forcing you to go into the chemical cancer grass to read if its safe or just never use grass since those arent cleaned up for months
We always pay upfront for the entire year, our service technician has not done one application. Very bad service, will terminate our contract with them. Then try to get a customer service call back, not good!
I give a three as customer service was good. We had three applications. To which I understand having some weeds still coming up by the third time I felt like we still had a lot of weeds after the application we never had the same service person so I feel like they didn’t know what they had done before and we’re not covering all the areas needed to be covered. I feel like a lot of money was spent for something we could’ve done for a lot less and looked better.
We used their services for few years now. Never had issues prior to this year. In fact the tech was so professional last year that he came in and recommended canceling service because we had a neighborhood-wide road works so the lawn was terrible. This is first year that we have only received one application even though pre-paid for 4. The service rep on the phone was super sweet and professional when canceling. Maybe they are having an off year :(
Terrible service. Called them in April for help with my lawn and they didn't show up until mid July for the first application. They didn't do an assessment even though I asked for one. When I cancelled service, they didn't even ask why. These people don't care.
If you need a good job in your garden, backyard, landscape or business, then you are in the right place. They've been in business for 40 years, they have all the experience that you need to get an excellent result. And the prices are amazing. Give them a chance, you won't regret it.
Best service ever! In 17 years of being here, Pro Turf did a great job on the irrigation system Fall blowout. He kept checking to make sure the lines were completely empty. And I've was very prompt and efficient.
We had a customer service issue that I originally rated them 1 star. However, shortly after posting my review the owner called and said they made a mistake (as they didn't have all the information when we talked) and they did take responsibility for the issue. I am impressed that they took ownership because they very easily could have maintained their innocence. Yes, they would have lost a customer, but the repairs will probably be more than a few years worth of trips for winterization and spring checkups
The last two years was terrible service. They did not show up at all and did not communicate. They always had excuses and 2023 left me hanging for the year. I fired them!!
Tyler took great care of us last year and we plan to use Pro Turf again!
Called when apparently the quote person wasn t in the office. Almost a week later, still no call to give quote.
Shout out to Steve Johnson who has been managing our yard applications for a number of years. Hes efficient, detail oriented, a true professional who has always listened to my concerns. A real asset to Pro Turf.
Prepaid for 5 applications and an airation. I ve only received 3 applications despite prepaying for 5. Disappointed and would not recommend.
So far, so good. Good communication, friendly staff, and no bs.
These guys really take care of our lawn. I will continue to use these services every year.

I have used Pro Turf for along time. I have referred them to family and friends and new home owners on my block. It took only 2 years to straighten out my yard after I moved in. I now have a very noticeable dividing line where my grass is weed free and the neighbors is horrible! You cannot beat the value even if doing it yourself!!
Have DEFINITELY seen an improvement in the overall health of my lawn and they will always come out and respray for weeds if ever needed but I dont recall having any issues. This is only my 2nd year with them but very satisfied.
Unrelated to there work ethics i did just get cut off by one of your employees possible even the owner of the company. PS that dirt road has a stop sign if I wouldnt have slowed below the speed limit I would of hit you. With such little care for others safety Im glad Ive never done business with you nor will I ever.
We just started using this company for our lawn. So far love their service. Quick, effective and fair priced. Keep up the good work guys.
Going to give them another season, but overall disappointed. Failed to solve problem with wild violets (broadleaf weed), and never did the prepaid fall aeration. When called, was told were still doing it, though it was well past the recommended time (August 15 - September 15). I asked for a credit for aeration next spring (which was given), but in general unimpressed with (what seemed to me) apathetic service.
Recently had ProTurf out to refresh our landscaping. We purchased a model home with some pretty basic and sparse plants. Not too much curb appeal! We called Professional Turf, Inc who also fertilizes our lawn because weve been impressed with the lawn services weve received so far. Worked with Jeff to develop a landscape plan that worked in our budget and improved the overall look and aesthetic of our porch/front yard. We were able to make a plan and get on the schedule pretty quickly. We had a plan for ProTurf to replace our mulch with river rock, relay weed barrier, swap out the black rubber edging for charcoal pavers, add pavers around tree, add 11 plants and repurpose some existing plants, and add a beautiful hydrangea tree. We also opted for black rubber edging and river rock along each side of the house. The crew arrived on time and were very professional. Kept me informed of their progress and any issues that came up. They washed the rock, watered the plants, and picked up all debris. I think overall our lawn and driveway were cleaner after they left! We are so impressed with the results and cant wait to see how our landscaping evolves over the next couple years as the plants mature. Highly recommend!!
Excellent service, prompt and courteous!
I recently had a gentleman out to get an estimate for some landscaping work. After I told the gentleman what I wanted (old rocks and boarder removed and a retaining wall and river rock fill) he chuckled at me and said we are a design company, why did you call us then? He later told me he would think about it and has not gotten back to me nor pass along my information to a closer person he knew. I do not need to do business with someone so unprofessional and will take my business elsewhere.
Very unprofessional, rude to fellow employees and leaving jobs not finished.
The service guy spilled fertiliser in about 10 spots in our yard, which killer all the grass in the area, and didn t feel like mentioning it to us. While we are growing the new grass they randomly show up and fertilise our lawn again, didn t tell us they were coming or anything. I m hoping they were smart enough to not fertilise the new seed since I didn t get a chance to put flags up since I had no clue they were coming. I m just hoping they didn t spill more fertiliser, I will be watching my cameras again! Called and explained this all and didn t get an apology, she just said I can send someone out to look at the grass...a little late, I m not having huge bare spots in my yard! Don t trust these people!!!
Started service this year, coming from TruGreen. After just one application the yard looks better than previous years with TG. Keep up the great service! Thank you!

We use them and like their work keeping our yard green and weed free. TP also gives a lot back to the community which is nice.
My experience was very poor. Have never tried this hard in my life to give a company $1200. Short story is that I tried 4 different times in 4 different weeks to get Dave to come out to my house for my first application and was told they would be in my area in the next two weeks and never showed up. 1st call, Dave did not have me set up on his route even though all paperwork had been submitted and confirmed. Next two calls I got the in your area in the next two weeks and no one came for the next 3 weeks. Last call was told by Dave I would need to wait another week because someone who lives by me wanted to wait and do their 1st and 2nd applications together (probably because it was going to be Mid to Late May before he got there). Not sure how that customers needs trumped mine but they did. One of the worst experiences I have had in a long time! Sad because I was looking forward to someone else fertilizing my yard for the first time in 26 years. 1 Star was for the woman answering the phone because she was really trying hard to get me taken care of.
Worst/lacking customer service ever made me feel like I was lying when I said I prepaid she said I need to check I called last Thursday. I called again today (Monday) nothing was done a person should not have to call twice and I will have to wait for a check to be sent as they only do checks (refunds) every two weeks find another company who respects their customers
We love ProTurf. Our family has tried all the other options out there, even the supposed organic, and ProTurf is the only company that keeps our lawn lush, green, and weed-free. And they have the best prices! Thanks much!

Great place to work, great lawn service
Professional Turf has provided my family lawn fertilization and sprinkler repair and winterization services for three years. In October of 2015, we scheduled our winterization and the Company sent out an employee to provide the service. Without going into lengthy details, there was a problem with non-irrigation valves being shut off and not drained properly by the employee that caused damage to drywall in the ceiling of my basement. This, in of itself, is not the problem with the Company. The problem lies in that I had damage to my home and I repeatedly called the Company to discuss the issue and no one returned calls. It took a complaint to the Better Business Bureau (details of this incident are posted there) to get any sort of response from the Company. This was just really bad customer service and they have now lost an annuity customer who was paying $500 to $600 a year for fertilizing, sprinkler repair, and winterization/start up services. A simple timely call back goes a long way. I guess they are fine if everything goes well, but god forbid getting them to make things right if they make an error.
