Ive used the lawn butcher for a few years now. They have been a great company to use for all of my lawn maintenance needs. They also installed my new sod and it was a very smooth process. Kyle takes very good care of his customers and is always wiling to go above and beyond to make sure your yard looks nice year round. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality lawn service.
Things started well with Kyle, the first service was good. Unfortunately things went down fast from that point. Communication is poor, he never came on the same day or time. He left my gate open once. I spoke to him via email and text to fix the issues but they were never addressed. I only used his service for 6 weeks before I had to cancel it due to increasing issues every service. $190 a month is not worth it My opinion is his reviews are fabricated, there is no way other people can't be experiencing the same issues.
Terrible experience overall, numberous issues that I kept bringing to his attention and it's never addressed. He trimmed our trees and doesn't pick up the clippings afterwards, he cut 2 cords to outdoor lightning that is permanently in the the ground and refused to pay for the damage or give us a credit. Communication is terrible, Kyle never gets back to you in a timely professional fashion. If you want to get your lawn butchered, he's definitely the one to pick.
Kyle and his crew did an amazing job upgrading our landscaping. I gave him my vision for the backyard and he delivered 1000% and delivered on my unrealistic timeline for an outdoor party we were having to boot! Everyone loved the work they did! Great communication and even better work ethic. If you need to upgrade your yard or landscaping, give him a call. Update: the guys came back to do mulch, sod, and aluminum landscape border. They did a jam up job and made the front yard pop.

The Lawn Butcher is the real deal for all your landscaping needs! Kyle just got done completely transforming our backyard. He tore out all the vegetation, put in new mulch, and laid Provista sod. We could not be more happy with how it turned out. Kyle provided excellent customer service from start to finish always showing up on time and working with us to give us exactly what we wanted. Giving him a 5 star review was a no brainer. Stop looking and hire him now!
Our backyard is very shaded and very wet during the rainy season. The sod we installed when we built the house didn’t last 1 year. We consulted with Kyle about the type of sod to install that would last. We went with his recommendation of St Augustine Seville and he installed it last October 2022. It is still flourishing and looks as perfect as the day it was installed in July of 2023! Would recommend The Lawn Butcher to anyone looking for new sod. You’re in great hands with Kyle!

I recently tried this gentlemans services by a referral on Nextdoor. He came out and gave me a price via text which I accepted for $170 a month. He serviced my lawn 3x then he sends me an invoice to pay. The invoice he sent me was $40 higher than what he quoted me and what we agreed upon. So I contacted him and first his response is, he never said $170, he texted me $210, then when I responded and said I have the text from your number saying otherwise, he responds, 6 days later and says, my price is always $200 or higher and I must pay the $210. After looking at his reviews, and him claiming that he has negative reviews, I believe they are accurate and hes just a con man. Ive reported his business practices to the Lakeland chamber of commerce who is investigating. He takes advantage of seniors who are on a fixed income. Very unprofessional young man sorry to say. I also posted this on nextdoor so he cant take advantage of other people in the future. I already received 12 replies to my post with similar issues with this service, The Lawn Butcher.

Kyle did an awesome job taking out my old turf and installing Pro Vista in its place. He recommended the Pro Vista as its glysophate resistant which has so far made weed control super easy. But the best part about working with Kyle is that when the install was complete he noticed I didn t need one pallet of turf that was ordered and so he proactively refunded me for it. He could have kept the pallet and the money but he was honest and that is unfortunately very rare these days. I ve already recommended him to my neighbor and he also had a great experience so if you are looking for someone with fair prices and integrity Kyle is the one to call.

The process from start to finish was effortless- from getting the quote to getting the work scheduled and done. Bought a house and the grass was cut once while the process was going on. Needless to say the grass was high, but it was high. Called Kyle the day after the purchase and had a quote back to me in minutes. He came out the next day, in the rain, and cut my lawn. He did an amazing job. I would reccomend this guy to anyone.
